The end of this planet
People expect the end
of this planet
to occur at Armageddon
but slowly but surely
man is destroying
this planet by himself.
The ozone layer is disappearing
by contamination in the air,
the clean water resources are disappearing
by sewerage draining into streams
and with floods, vehement storms,
waves from the sea destroying and streaming over buildings,
drought, great heat and deserts appearing
man is solely responsible.
At Chernobyl in Russia,
at Three Mile Island in America
(maybe even in Japan?)
nuclear radiation
is escaping into the atmosphere.
Oil is washing out on the beaches
and the destruction
comes from the hand of man
who at the cost of others
are leading an existence
until havoc is everywhere
and nobody is able to live here.

As Our Planet Dies
This planet Earth is quite unique,
I live, I breathe, I'm alive,
If you take out all my goodness,
I will no longer thrive
This planet like you is dependant,
On everything that's here,
By plundering my resources,
The end is now drawing near.
You are living on a knife-edge,
Yet still you choose to ignore,
Our planet is slowly dying,
I just can't take any more.
My ice caps they are melting fast,
As temperatures have increased,
Yet still you Humans ignore the facts,
You have awoken a raging beast.
You are draining out my lubricants,
You're destroying my inner soul,
What is left within me now,
Is a massive empty hole.
You are tearing down my forests,
Which cleanse this planets blood,
Now when it rains on my open plains,
There is nothing left but mud.
The Oceans are now rising fast,
My insides are on fire,
Unless you heed my warning signs,
The outcome will be dire.
Earthquakes happening all over the world,
While the hurricanes get stronger,
Unless you try to stem the flow,
This can't go on much longer.
Instead of throwing money away,
Here's a very simple deduction.
Invest it in saving the planet,
Not on weapons of mass destruction.
If you'd listen to my pleas for help,
We might just turn this round,
But we need to work together,
If a solution's to be found.
Continue on your present course,
Then I will guarantee,
There will be no more life on Earth,
If only the blind could see.
Unless you change the way you live,
Very soon you'll hear my cries,
Human Beings are responsible,
Now watch,

Japan
America bombed Afganisthan
Nature has taken by tsunami
The first proposition is one of report
The second proposition forces us
to exclaim -Alas Alas
When Danton was dragged to the guillotine
he exclaimed-Hi Robespierre When are coming?
Soviet Russia went asunder thanks to Chernobyl
Japan is reeling in trauma
If Japan is out of breath
can America escape death
Human ignorance generated radioactive clouds
from Chernobyl
Human helplessness has put Japan
under radioactive umbrella which will protect man
from health and wealth
But suffering might make Japan
and the world wiser

Chernobyl
When Russia tried to keep quiet
over the disaster
of a exploding nuclear reactor
the whole of Europe was radiated
satellites saw the explosion
with flames shooting up,
radiation going into the air
being swept away on the wind
and all of the people fighting against the disaster
got a death sentence,
the towns of Chernobyl and Pripyat is now empty
with no living beings moving there
and the impact circled out much wider
and in Russia people are still suffering from it.

Still Drops Fall
Still drops fall
while a child cries, while the day dies
and dark is the sky
covered in clouds, darker than night
while for money men do terrible things
and factories produce at any cost,
even the lost of clean air,
the destruction of the ozone layer,
even if it causes seasons to change,
deserts to form and rain to pour down
in great floods
and the echoes of war machinery rings
with super powers raiding
for scarce resources,
with politicians telling lies,
covering their actions
with self inflicted military assaults
and hungry the starving man
is covered with falling drops
far too late for his scorched crops
lightning bolts are echoing
are coming down in blue-white flashes
and a barely solvent commercial farmer looses
his last stock
being killed from electric shock,
hammering rain pours down,
flooding cities and towns
causing havoc to the ordinary man
and the catastrophe is man made
sprouting from the need to own,
sprouting from greed
and still drops fall
while a child cries, while the day dies
and dark is the sky
covered in clouds, darker than night.

I'm A Very Old Tree
Some of us can live for millions of years,
We've watched as the world's rolled by,
Witnessed all of its hopes and fears,
Now we weep as we watch our Earth die.
Living this way can be so hard to bear,
As none of us can intervene,
Which is really tough when you're fully aware,
Things are worse now than we've ever seen.
We watched the Dinosaurs come and go,
Mammoths and Sabre Tooth's too,
We're warning you now to let you all know,
The same fate is what awaits you,
Contrary to what you Humans think,
Your intelligence is really quite small,
As you take our planet to the very brink,
You are heading for an almighty fall.
You forget this planet belongs to all life,
Yet Mankind is hell bent on destruction,
Because of your acts we all suffer strife,
That's a pure and simple deduction.
Nuclear power cannot be controlled,
It is insane to even think that you can,
A major disaster now waits to unfold,
Devastation created by man.
The scenes we have witnessed are really sad
More so since you lot arrived,
Trying to control atoms is just utterly mad,
Destruction is what you have contrived.
Plundering Earths resources is really insane,
Soon you'll have ripped out her heart.
You are treating our planet with total disdain,
Very soon it will all come apart.
Killing each other you seem to enjoy,
Life to you really comes cheap,
Your aim in life is just to destroy,
For this your extinction you'll reap.
There is no precedent to the human race,
You destroy more than the rest of us combined,
You make no provision for the future you face,
You are truly one of a kind,
We've witnessed destruction on a massive scale
As for yours there is no equal,
Unless your madness you now curtail,
Believe me there will not be a sequel.
You may well think I'm self righteous and cruel,
But unless you take action now,
Our planet will become a stagnant pool,
You will get your comeuppance and how.
Your future is what you need to review,
How would you know, I hear you all ask,
Well I've been around much longer than you,
I've accrued the knowledge to take you to task.
Ignore the warnings and you'll pay the price,
Destroying our planet doesn't come free,
Mother nature is one powerful device,
How would I know?

If Only I Can Save The Water
Water is the source of life
But sometimes it's dangerous
When overflowing will destruct
And may cost lives...
This is shown in floods
During typhoons and rainy days
Where water rushed down streams
Making costly damaged to people.
If Only I Can Save The Water
And if I can only save the water
When it rains flows only...
To where mankind need it to be
To supply the need of rice fields
Giving enough water to marine life
The bounty of drinking water
And many other benefits...
But this is beyond control
It's already giving pain
Every time there is typhoon
More floods and destruction -
To people's lives and property
And mankind seem cannot control.
Is this the negative results
Of the wanton destruction
On the forest reserves we have
Where the trees can no longer hold
The ravaging pressure of floods
That no pity to cost the lives
On the victims of the events.

In his eyes shone the reflection of the most beautiful planet in the Universe---a planet that is not too hot and not too cold; that has liquid water on the surface and where the gravity is just right for human beings and the atmosphere is perfect for them to breathe; where there are mountains and deserts and oceans and islands and forests and trees and birds and plants and animals and insects and people---lots and lots of people. Where there is life. Some of it, possibly, intelligent.

Toothbrush Revolution
Get a Japanese
hand made
toothbrush.
Most durable,
kind and soft
could never hurt.
Be careful, choose well
Because you can be deceived
By good copies
made by machines.
Machines that might feed
on nuclear energy
made by nuclear
reactors, those, truly,
we don't need!
Promise!
To use the hand made brush
with great respect and care.
Promise!
To fairly pay for every
dropp of sweat,
for every minute of hard work.
We need no elevators
nor escalators
We will prefer
the power save
at own home
than put at risk
the smallest living thing!
Please! Please! Please! !
Stop Tomari nuclear power plant
Stop to suffocate World and Japan
we have enough
with Fukushima's broken Nuclear Reactors
There is no need for other factors!
We are helpless with the air purification
We don't want masks to be a fashion
We don't want radioactive substance trace
to leave our grand grand kids as inheritance
We know nothing of polluted water
We cannot live with the guilt
of destroying the nature, our Mother! !
Give us a hand made brush for teeth
let all of us, you he she and me
Handle it as symbol to seek
our world for each of us to clean!
One dream, let it come true, let us be:
Hokkaido, Tomari, nuclear free:
is this only a good dream,
could it possible be
Of nightmares,
forever Free?

For Human Greed
We may as well try to find another Planet to live on
Since people they cannot live on the Moon
And Mother Earth the Planet that sustains us
We in our fits of madness choose to ruin.
And perhaps there's not another Planet out there
For human beings to live on and destroy
'Twould seem indeed that the price of human progress
Comes at a cost and the cost seems far too high.
Each day more creatures of extinction endangered
When the land they live on we choose to invade
And extinction sad to say it is forever
For human greed the price has to be paid.
We are paving the way to our own extinction
Where humans live pollution becomes rife
The World will not end with the death of the last human
And Nature will do nicely without human life.
We had better find another Planet to live on
Or become extinct as a species that's our choice
As we are making the Planet we live on for us quite unlivable
For human greed that seems too high a price.

We still live with this unbelievable threat over our heads of nuclear war. I mean, are we stupid? Do we think that the nuclear threat has gone, that the nuclear destruction of the planet is not imminent? It's a delusion to think it's gone away.

I'm happy to be of this planet. I didn't choose it, but a planet is a planet. I was born in France, but I would have been happy to have been born in Senegal or in Romania or Japan. I don't care. This planet is both so small and so big, but I'm part of it.

Portrait of my Father as a Young Man
In the eyes: dream. The brow as if it could feel
something far off. Around the lips, a great
freshness--seductive, though there is no smile.
Under the rows of ornamental braid
on the slim Imperial officer's uniform:
the saber's basket-hilt. Both hands stay
folded upon it, going nowhere, calm
and now almost invisible, as if they
were the first to grasp the distance and dissolve.
And all the rest so curtained within itself,
so cloudy, that I cannot understand
this figure as it fades into the background--.
Oh quickly disappearing photograph
in my more slowly disappearing hand.

On The Burial Ground
Die by violence in this world
Is nothing strange for us
With all those chemicals, wars and destructions
We do not know mother nature has in store for us
The race for economy makes people forget
The lives around this planet
As men become more egoist
Pretty soon
there will be nothing in this world
For men to spare
[Pre-chorus:]
Stupidity, causing pain
And sickness
To our world
Suffer
[Chorus:]
On the burial ground
Is what this planet is all about
It's where we are right now
We might not have any future to be found
On this burial ground
We have nowhere to hide
Death is laughing at our cries
And now we are feeling the effects
That the forces of nature has brought
The droughts, Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions
It's gettin worse than even before
We can see the revenge of this planet upon us
As we keep hurting the sea
The soil and the air
Sometimes some catastrophic accidents happen
Causting death rate and we wounder from where
People are dying in civilization of different lands
Because of the drought
Occurences of flooding everywhere
Killing innocent people and leaving others in despair
Abomination because people fear that all these events
Happen without any warning killing unexpectedly
Men subjugate the forces of nature
But we don't know that it's destroying us slowly
The animals are becoming extinct
Seas and rivers polluted by toxic waste
Combustible smoke
Factories are creating acid rains
That is burning our skins
Damaging plantations
And soon it will bring us to death
Air pollution is disintegrating our atmosphere
Allowing the ultra-violet rays to burn the earth
And to provoke us fear
[Repeat chorus]
[Lead]
Soon some of the lives on this planet
Won't exist anymore
Because we won't be able to recreate
Some of the beauty thta we had before
Nobody seems to care
About the future of our children's civilizations
We better act now
So they won't have a life of torment and frustration
[Repeat pre-chorus, chorus]
Cursed by men this world has become
We are building our own tombs
By eliminating our source of life
When blindly we continue the destructions
There's no future
Day by day we are reaching the end of our lives

Sonnet: Nukes are Satanic Evils
The nuclear arms produce great loss of life,
Destroying structures miles across, tho’ strong!
And leave behind human misery and strife,
That make generations sing woeful song.
Cities can turn incinerators soon!
Diseases kill the future populace;
The soil’s unsafe; who wants the sun or moon?
No one can heal the wounds or even dress.
A button’s press can bring the destruction!
And insane leaders threaten with their nukes;
The ill-effects can affect earth’s function;
Nukes are Satan’s ideas, born like flukes!
Who would destroy the planet made for man?
Yet, earth will go on as per divine plan!

Show me
Show me the place
where we lived once
when the earth was still young,
before man’s hand
like a sickle went over it
and chopped until woods
disappeared totally
and deserts appeared in places.
Show me the fields, marches and hillocks
where animals at a time was carefree
before the rifle
sounded without end
and mines, factories, buildings
and rail tracts harassed the earth
and everything yielded
to steel and concrete.
Show me the blue sky
that at a time was pure
and now is full of smoke and ash
and water that fell sparkling
as rain from the air
and brought life
and could wash everything clean
and now eat
while it falls filled with acid.
Show me the streams and rivers
where at a time there were healthy fish
that could bring water to fields
and where children for the fun
could jump in
and now are filled with sewerage,
poisons, minerals
and garbage that drifts everywhere.
Show me seasons
that comes on their time
and now every day
is winter, summer and spring
while life
pass much too quickly
and the hand of man
for ever are mowing out the earth
and a day might come,
when the earth
becomes man’s own
place of damnation.

On Cold Winter Nights
With much weaker power the sun goes on its way
disappearing at night somewhere up high
while in winter everything living
is yearning for heat, to something that brings warmth
With the cold feeling as if seconds are jumping much too slowly
with you shivering later in the last part of the night.
With much weaker power the sun goes on its way
disappearing at night somewhere up high
When people insist on light,
with birds of prey gliding on the cold air,
lovers finding each other, giving love freely
until the next twilight
with much weaker power the sun goes on its way.

Depleted Of Bonafide Tasks
The only ones appearing to be running afraid these days,
Are those seeking explanations...
Of their non-existing accountabilities.
To prove they are not incompetent.
Since continuing to masquerade with impressions to make,
Has not proven to anyone to be beneficial.
And those now demanding more than speeches without substance,
Accompanied with colorful graphs to depict scientific procedures...
Depleted of bonafide tasks,
Have asked...
'What has any of this to do with caps placed on funding?
And 'who' is responsible for not keeping our expectations,
Cost effective with our money disappearing fast.'
