Stars
How bright they seem,
where in countless numbers they appear
and in numerous colours
flow in patterns in the dark night.
How faltering
some set their fate,
to those mysterious lights
that hangs in the night sky.
Yet, man cannot even reach
the nearest one
or do really comprehend
the mysteries of black holes
and of infinite distances
in time and space.

Colours Of Life
Sunny morning, golden noon, rose pink twilight, silver moon.
Grey black cloud, creamy sea, lightning bright, green brown tree.
Yellow with age, white with fright, red with rage, black as night.
Green with envy, rainbow hue, in the pink, sky of blue.
Countless colours running rife. These are the colours of our life.

City Night
Night is lively.
Night is stunning
Night is pleasurable.
Night is sugary like apple pie.
Night is walking towards with hobo.
Night will never end.
Night is dark.
Night is now simple, sweet, calm, amusing.
I am in love with this city night.
City is covered with this pleasant night.
Night is having the shine of city.
Night is getting wilder.
Night is getting cruel.
Time will never stop running.
Night will over with the time.
Another night will come in this city.
I am waiting for the night.
Here city shed tears
Here city chuckle like a little kid.
Here city dance with the mysterious wind.
I am in love with this city night.
Night never stops coming.
Night will never break its rule.
It will come over and over in this cold blooded city.
But I will never stop loving this city night.
Night is resting.
It will come again into my little black book.

Night was coming
Night was coming
with a piercing huge orange sun
breaking through
white and black clouds
in the west.
It found a gap
and the sun was hanging
like a orange ball
above the street
and it was blinding.
Cars passed barely visible
above the orange glare
and some had already
turned their lights on.
The sun dipped down
below some trees
and for a time
it glowed behind them
and soon it would be dark
and the first stars
were already appearing
and a full yellow moon
was rising,
but below bright lights
was already burning
right across the city
in colours of amber
streetlights
green, yellow and red
traffic lights,
blue lights flashing
on police cars
and almost every bright colour
caught on neon signs
while people came and went
to different destinations
some smiling and relaxed,
others in a hurry
and some others
locked in a world of their own.

Death of Dusk
The sun resigns,
bleeds out the vestiges –
remnants of the day.
Exsanguination edges into twilight:
red-brown hangs;
upwards darkens:
blue-brown,
blue-black,
death-black,
disquiet – furtive,
like ghoul-ridden fog.
A sombre moon assumes its role,
gushing silver-white lymph upon the muted scape –
a prequel of supernatural undertones
to chill the scene,
ice the spine,
kill the brain –
we have unnerved the very firmament.
But now a shadow closing down the globe:
dinosaurian cloud shrouds the moon glaze,
claims the late hour –
declared in a dying crow caw.
I, the hidden owl
– nemesis of claustrophobic minds –
awake! for mammal flesh –
fresh, jerking out its warmth in dance of death.
Rock-still I perch in sculptured oneness
with my crooked night-tree,
emanating nocturnal allure.
Together we scowl
together we play the dark
upon the land and sky
and mind
while you lie as dead in your box.

Like a Rainbow
I see your colours shining bright,
Through the African clouds you show your light,
You are like a Rainbow and I can't touch you,
Hard as I try I just can't reach you,
When I reach out you move away,
When I catch up you're just not there,
When I move away I see you everywhere,
When the rain is gone you are still there, I just can't reach you,
Like a Rainbow, you are like a Rainbow,
Like a Rainbow, you are like a Rainbow,
Do you know why you shine so beautiful and bright?
Do you know how to shine without the light?
If you touch me I will know and you will glow,
If you let me reach you then I will teach you and we'll be alright,
At sunset you fade, then my stars come out,
The darkness comes between us, must we be apart?
When you know me then your Northern Lights will shine bright,
Your Southern Lights will be up all night, my stars shine through you,
Then we will be alright.

Incantation
A white well
In a black cave;
A bright shell
In a dark wave.
A white rose
Black brambles hood;
Smooth bright snows
In a dark wood.
A flung white glove
In a dark fight;
A white dove
On a wild black night.
A white door
In a dark lane;
A bright core
To bitter black pain.
A white hand
Waved from dark walls;
In a burnt black land
Bright waterfalls.
A bright spark
Where black ashes are;
In the smothering dark
One white star.

Design a New Life
Design a new life for the soul in your heart,
It came from the days and nights
Created by the Praiseworthy.
Describe to me your life if the day was night,
If this night was in black and white, your life.
You speak in many colours, any colours,
Yet you live in the old night, the black dark night.
It never changes from black to white, until the day
Arrives. This is the time for your life.
Tomorrow has come and become a day to remember.
It is today that existence has shifted like the sun.
Today, you can design the stone house, where your mother lives.
What is this stone house?
It is the life around us; it is hard to destroy it.

Rogue Comet
Lost amongst dark
regions in solar space
moves nameless comet
unknown unbidden
phantom menace
time space dissects
orbit moving inbound.
To soon observatory
spots impending course
telescopes join watch
in countless numbers
as luminous tale grows
ever more blazen across
red dragon night sky.
Such beauty inspires awe
apocalyptic wonder frenzied fear
time riots suspends hangs
for full measure as fame grows
with discussions transcending
invoking life death rituals
till trajectory moments igniting
atmosphere sonic boom rending
shattering across fatal ruinous sky
until moment of deep impact
a moment when doomed world
changes unalterably extinction
event imminent darkness descends

Night lights, those blues-in-the-night lights
Are no longer bright lights since Im without you
Sweet dreams, oh where did they fly to?
Youre gone and who can I cry to?
Those night lights remind me of bright eyes
And beautiful white lies too good to be true
As I go on my way with all my heart I pray
That those night lights will lead me to you
Those night lights remind me of bright eyes
And beautiful white lies too good to be true
As I go on my way with all my heart I pray
That those night lights will lead me to you

Unicorn 1
Those who’ve seen one, all give differing accounts;
that’s how it should be. No in-depth video. No coffee-table book.
But the collected book of sightings –
that’s hairs on the back of the neck stuff.
One detail, though, they all agree– it came at just the right time;
although they did not know it at the time;
but time brought truth; as truth brought time.
The place they saw it– now that was surely a surprise;
and so they wonder
how their own hallowed place can not bring further sightings;
forgetting that unicorns are not bound by the same space and time
as we the spellbound are. Their space and time if we could see them
would be like joy and sadness indistinguishable.
By night, they live as unicorns must live
within this world; so that they may live among us
while living free from us; this the law of magic
which to them is natural; it’s said they live at night
by the light of their own horn, that glows like fireflies glow,
light without fire; except that we cannot see that light.
(Scientists may explain this; EM wavelengths, ultra-infra …;
all they, we, really need is taken care of...)
And then by day, they love the quiet places; for
they do not seek us, or seek to show themselves;
but we are drawn to seek their mystery.
For mysteries are not mysteries unless they hide a truth.
Forest glades; among the hills; white amidst the waves;
wherever we are nearest to one in ourselves.

Through the Black and White
Through the black and white,
The dark and the light,
There always is a gray,
When the colors fade away.
But me and you,
With a love so true,
Can restore them just as bright,
As the sun in day,
And the stars at night.

The other me....
Black angel, dark face
Alive in time and space,
Black angel darkest day
Shall always find the way.
There is this other me
Who lies inside and hide
Comes forth with any fight
And always in the dark of night.
Black angel
Strong and wild,
Black angel
Never mild.
Sleeping in the day
When the sky is blue,
Then shows a dark face
When darkness comes through.
Black angel
Falling sin,
Black angel
All within.

Dark Of Night
IN THE DARK OF NIGHT , YOU REACH OUT TO ME , AS I TAKE YOUR HAND, YOU DRAW ME CLOSER AND TOGETHER WE STAND.THE LOOK IN YOUR EYES, THE TOUCH OF YOUR KISS, OUR HEARTS BEAT IN RYTHEM WHEN YOU HOLD ME LIKE THIS, THE TOUCH OF YOUR FINGERS AS THEY SEARCH AND EXPLORE, LEAVES ME BREATHLESS AND WEAK AND YEARNING FOR MORE, THE FEEL OF YOUR BODY PRESSED TIGHT AGAINST MINE, WE ARE LOST IN EACH OTHER, AS THE DARK OF NIGHT TURNS BACK TIME.I REACH OUT TO YOU TO DRAW YOU NEAR, ONLY TO WAKE TO FIND YOU ARE NOT HERE, .IM HOLDING YOUR PILLOW, AND HOLDING IT TIGHT, AS MY CRIES OF SORROW PIERCES THE QUITE, I CALL OUT YOUR NAME IN THE DARK OF NIGHT, I ASK FOR ONLY, ONE LAST CHANCE TO TOUCH YOUR FACE, TO HOLD YOU CLOSE ONE MORE TIME IN THE DARK OF NIGHT. .THE ONLY ANSWER THAT I HEAR, IS THE SHATERING SOUND OF A BREAKING HEART, AND THE ROARING SOUND OF THE SEA OF TEARS , AS I BEGIN FALLING APART., MY FINGERS KEEP SEARCHING THE EMPTY SPACE , WISHING FOR ONE LAST CHANCE TO REACH OUT AND CARESS YOUR FACE.THEY ONLY FIND YOU ARE NOT THERE, THE COLD ROUGH SHEET AWAITS THEM THERE, AS THEY KEEP SEARCHING IN THE DARK NIGHT AIR.

Invictus (a reply to William Ernest Henley)
While the night stretch black over me
and in the dark sky I see countless lights
burning high,
I thank the God that made me free
to choose which light to follow as a guide.
In dark circumstance and whatever fate brings,
destiny and chance do not conquer
and I still rise wiser
to life and its things
and my will remains free
to decide where my words
and actions belong
whether they are right or wrong
and to no human I bend a knee
and in all things I only answer to Him
who Captain’s me.

O Myriad Stars Hanging In Heavens!
O..myriad stars hanging in heavens !
I shed tears for you!
At nights you give out your all
to sprinkle your meagre lights
and faintly speak in lonely hours!
What use is of your spoonfuls of light
scarce even to illumine your homes?
At inconceivable distances
in infinite numbers
you bloom in mind-boggling sizes
to shower your grandeur!
In such an absolute mess
how to relish your beauty I puzzle!
Each one majestic and mighty more
than our smallest 'sun'!
Yet you fail to walk its steps
of quelling the darkness-
to shatter our fears-
What if you too learn the art of the 'sky king'
that enlivens the hues?
You are contemptuously swept away
in the morning lights' rollicking floods!
Come relaively near
to caress our earth!
Of what use your passionate looks
and love chants at distances
even minds fail to make?

Aura
The air was dark
The moon was dark
The night was dark
The cloud was dark
The heat was dark
The stars were black
The birds were black
The eyes were black
The shadows were black
The planes were black
A sound of night
The hearts of night
A chase at night
A fall at night
No help at night
The night is night
Where is my sight
I have no sight
Your light was sight
No light no sight
No one in sight
The dark in sight
Don't call my name
What's my name
They call my name
That's not my name
Who said its my name
I have no name
You took my same
It was our same
She was our same
She's now your same
Its all the same
I'm not the same
Judas and my hand
You took my hand
'I do' my hand
You kissed my hand
You broke my hand
You fell my hand
A tear in sand
A heart in sand
A body in sand
Alone in sand
A dust in sand
At home in sand.

Black Mouse Makes The World
Black mouse makes
the world
without frames
reaching through
shows empty hands
to each and the sky
confusing sky for
hands clinched in
tight yellow too much
feeling nothing green
is about to happen
or teach
clouds
hands
what do either
care drifting
beyond the
moon
the fiddler plays on
a tune about rain/leaves
in patterns upon
an apron
of rain
rabbit dances with-
out caution knowing
what holes to avoid
cuts loose
awash in blue
holes being of a
royal hue
a silver net
trap set inches
from soft pink
clueless paws pattering
musical notes of
lavender wash
kick up from
blind delight -
just dust clouds
before a fall
the bearded stranger
(red hangs the sweep
of his chin)
hangs back
in cobalt shadow
does not notice
so busy looking
for giants
Black Mouse
Black Mouse laughs
writes with its tail
something
just something
