Maybe love has something similar to lightning
Maybe love has something similar to lightning
not something frightening
but as special essence
that lingers on the inner eye, a kind of thing
a kind of inner art
that stays grained into the heart
beyond living, beyond time and space
when destiny does people part
and sometimes the separateness
turns into a kind of emptiness
where you realise the finality of death
but still affection does not want to rest
and in memories love sometimes keeps going on
while in person to the earth you are gone.

What Is Love?
Love, what is it?
Is it an uncontrollable feeling, or is it some kind of game that your mind likes to play
Either way
I know what love is
I know what love is because I am in love
With the most lovely, gentle, kind hearted girl I have ever known
Shes like the moon
Always lit so people can find their way in the dark
I know what love is because,
This is the first time I have ever felt this way about anyone
She is truly amazing
She is one of a kind
She is my goddess
She is my inspiration
She is the best thing that has ever happened to me
This is how I know what love is
You too will know what love is when you find that special person
That you could never let go of

Love Of Another Kind
They say love is cruel
They say love is rather fragile
But Ive found in you
A love of another kind.
They say love brings hurt
I say love brings healing
Understanding first
Its a love of another kind.
(bridge)
The love I know
Is a love so few discover
They need to know
Jesus love is like no other.
They save love wont last
I say love is neverending
Cause in you I have
A love of another kind.
They would change their tune
They would add another measure
If they only knew
This love of another kind.
(repeat bridge)
(repeat verses)
Love of another kind
The love of another kind
The love of another kind
The love of another, the love of another kind.
Give me love
This is love (this is love)
Another kind, another kind of love.
This is love (this is love)
You need another kind of love
Another kind, another kind of love.
Another kind of love
This is love
Give me love
Another kind, another kind of love.

2 Of A Kind
You struck me like lightning
Turned my world upside down
When I first laid my eyes on you
This feelings really frightening
Cuz it seems to me Ive found
The perfect man of all for me to choose
Used to dream of such a man like you
Never thought it would come true
Boy you are the answer to my prayers
I never felt like this before and
You have opened up the door
Into a space that I would never dare
Cuz you give my life a meaning
And this love we have together
Is lifting my heart to a higher ground
I was searching, seeking, finding
Love came out from its hiding
And baby, Im so pleased at what I found
The way you seem to be, the only one for me
This love is truly special, were 2 of a kind
Ive got you on my mind, were 2 of a kind
This heart of mine is beating inside my chest
And baby, its you that I adore
The nights we spend together are by far the best
That any woman could be wishing for
Were lucky baby its like that
This aint no opposites atract
You make up for all the bad in me
So when days of trouble come around
You know Id never let you down
Right by your side is where I want to be
Cuz you give my life a meaning
And this love we have together
Is lifting my heart to a higher ground
I was searching, seeking, finding
Love came out from its hiding
And baby, Im so pleased at what I found
The way you seem to be, the only one for me
This love is truly special, were 2 of a kind
Ive got you on my mind, were 2 of a kind

A Love Above Loves
When I think of you
I think of a certain kind of love
When I hear your name
I hear a certain kind of love
When I look at you
I see a certain kind of love
When I hold you
I hold a certain kind of love
When I kiss you
I kiss a certain kind of love
When I touch you
I touch a certain kind of love
When I fell in love with you
I fell in love with a certain kind of love
When I'm with you
I'm with a certain kind of love
When I'm wrapped up in you
I'm wrapped up in a certain kind of love
This certain kind of love
Is stronger than love
It is a transcended state
A love that can only be gifted from above
A love that is greater than any other love
This certain kind of love
Is strong and true
This certain kind of love
Makes two people stay true
This certain kind of love
Can never be extinguished
I believe that we have this kind of love
A love so true
Maybe not love at first sight
But I do believe that I was meant for you
Do you believe it too?
This certain kind of love
Is a love above loves
This certain kind of love
Is a true love
So true

A Different Kind Of Love Song
What if the world was crazy and I was sane
Would it be be so strange
I cant believe that I am alone in saying
The things Im saying
I am part of you
These are universal truths
Were all part of the light that flows through everything
This is a different kind of love song
Dedicated to everyone
Different kind of love song (oh , oh)
This is a different kind of love song
A higher plane we can go on
Different kind of love song (oh , oh)
What if the world calmed down and we could all breathe
Together easily
Connecting the sky and the ground with you and me
And everything in between
I am part of you
We have living proof
There is some kind of light that flows through everything
This is a different kind of love song
Dedicated to everyone
Different kind of love song (oh , oh)
This is a different kind of love song
A higher plane we can go on
Different kind of love song (oh , oh)

Its a very special kind of life
No ones really quite sure about their situation
Its a very funny kind of life
The only thing were positive about is the duration
Now they are standing right before you
How they were here before you
Hes a very special kind of guy
When he crosses the street he looks in both directions
Hes a very special kind of guy
And youre always wondering if hes lost his senses
Shes a very special kind of girl
And her mothers recipes have made a good thing famous
Shes a very special kind of girl
And shes always up in arms if hes late for breakfast
Now they are standing right before you
How they were here before you
Hes a very special kind of guy
When you hear him on the air you think hes lost his section
Shes a special special kind of girl
When you see her in the street you want to raise objection
Now they are standing right before you
How they were here before you
Its a very special kind of life
No ones really knows the truth about the situation
Its a very funny kind of life
The only thing were positive about is the duration

A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.

Love She Cant Live Without
He gives her attention, hes constantly, carefully planting the seeds
The only thing missing, is really the only thing she needs
And he cant give that to her and she cant find it with him
So shell have to find her way out of love shes not really in
Chorus:
She can live with what goes with leaving
She knows its the only way
Though it kills her to give up believin
She cant live with herself if she stays
She could settle for what shed be feeling
If she gave in and worked this one out
She doesnt want the kind of love she can live with
She wants the kind of love she cant live without
She looks in the mirror and sees all the sadness in her eyes
Its never been clearer what hes asking her to sacrifice
But she cant be his forever, she cant even be his for now
Shell have to be kind to them both and let go of him somehow
Repeat chorus
And hardest part is she loves him
But she doesnt want the kind of love she can live with
She wants the kind of love she cant live without

Not That Kind Of Love
Hello, my little pretty
My, don't we look YUK
Come here!
You spend all day picking out your dress
I like you dirty when your hair is a mess
You smell so sweet walking in the room
You don't have to try so hard to drown me in perfume
Don't cry your heart out
Don't tell your preacher
Don't get ideas, this won't last forever
Just want to touch you
Just want to feel you
Just want to taste you
I never wanted, I never wanted love before
I never wanted, I never wanted love before
Not that kind of love
Not that kind of love
No, it's not that kind of love
It's not that kind of love
No, it's not that kind of love
I don't want know your Dad or Mom
I won't be calling you to go to the prom
If you want to go, some cheap motel
You can pick me up at eight, I'll never tell
Don't cry your heart out
Don't tell your preacher
Don't get ideas, this won't last forever
Just want to touch you
Just want to feel you
Just want to taste you
I never wanted, I never wanted love before
I never wanted, I never wanted love before
Not that kind of love, not that kind of love
Not that kind of love, not that kind of love
No, no, not that kind of love
Not that kind of love, not that kind of love

Nothing of This Will Last
When I can walk around you completely naked.
That's the kind of love I want to have.
When I tell you truths...
And you can take not faking it!
That's the kind of love I want to have.
If I can be there close to you.
Closer than anyone you know or knew.
And we could come to do this...
Feeling all of our hopes have come true.
That's the kind of love I'd like to have with you.
When I awake not quite nice...
Refusing last night to hold you tight.
And watching you tolerate me to prevent a fight.
Storm away from you a few times I did do...
To return and apologize!
As I wipe tears of forgiveness from your eyes.
The eyes that captures my heart all the time!
Until that happens...
Let us slowly build that climb!
That's the kind of love I want to have!
There when I wake up...
And when good luck drops me on my butt!
That's the kind of love I want to have.
A union dressed up in vows.
If allowed!
And 'if' you can't have me like this,
Completely naked as I am...
Then what is the point of us being here?
No love like that stays strong and stands!
Nothing of this unresisting will last...
If I can not feel free being with you,
Totally bare ass.
And nothing of this unresisting stays,
If your intentions constantly plays!
Nothing of this will last.
Because that's the kind of love,
I had in my past!

I won't fuss
I won't fight tryin to make you mine
Ha
Wooh
Ah c'mon
I said I'll love you 'til the 12th of never
But I won't run far ahead
Leaving you behind
You know I'm not that kind
'Cause I'm not that kind of girl

My Kind Of Woman - My Kind Of Man (feat. Patty Loveless)
You don't need diamonds or big fancy cars
You say you're happy right where you are
We're bound together by a little gold band
You're my kind of woman
Oh, you're my kind of man
Oh, living without you is my only fear
You still drive me crazy when I hold you near
My boudy trembles with the touch of your hand
You're my kind of woman
Oh, you're my kind of man
chorus:
You're my kind of woman
You're my kind of man
A match made in heaven
By God's gentle hands
I'll love you forever
Together we'll stand
You're my kind of woman
You're my kind of man
(repeat chorus)
You're my kind of woman
And you're my kind of man

Say You Will
Something in you brought out something in me that Ive never been since
That part of me that was only for you, that kind of romance
Cause only once that kind of love, that kind of fever dance
That you love because you become someone else in an instant
Say you will, say you will
Give me one more chance
At least give me time to change your mind
That always seems to heal the wounds
If I can get you to dance
Something in you put a hold on my heart
Hard to believe now
Here is a place that will never be dark
I remember that place
That kind of touch
Electricity of love
That certain kind of grace
That you love because you become someone else in an instant

What Kind Of Love
Written by rodney crowell, will jennings, and roy orbison
Album: life is messy (rodney crowell)
Ill give you the best I can give you, baby
Thats all I can give
Well live it the best we can live it, baby
As long as we live
What kind of love never turns you down
What kind of love lifts you off the ground
Turns your life around
What kind of love makes you go out in the wind
And the driving rain
What kind of love runs through your heart with
A pleasure so close to pain
What kind of love
Only this love that I have
Ill show you the best I can show you, baby
Thats all I can show you
Ill know you the best I can know you baby
As long as I know you
What kind of love never turns away
What kind of love never makes you pay
Hears you when you pray
What kind of love makes you go out in the wind
And the driving rain
What kind of love runs through your heart with
A pleasure so close to pain
What kind of love
Only this love that I have
This love I know is all I have
This love I have is all I know
So I wont let go
What kind of love makes you go out in the wind
And the driving rain
What kind of love runs through your heart with
A pleasure so close to pain
What kind of love only this love that I have
What kind of love only this love that I have

A Sunday Kind of Woman
I can only imagine for our worlds are far apart
How it would feel to hold this woman mouth to mouth heart to heart
I guess it's a good thing dreaming's free
What would a Sunday kind of woman
A Sunday kind of woman want an everyday man like me.
I've had lots of nightlife women you've seen one you've seen 'em all
And I wake up in the morning and I turn and face the wall
And long for someone special's company
But would a Sunday kind of woman
A Sunday kind of woman love an everyday man like me.
But would a Sunday kind of woman
A Sunday kind of woman love an everyday man like me.

There Is Something To Love
There is something to love that reaches beyond
the outer covering, even if we just do kiss and play,
that draws us to return, to continue on another day
and it binds us unseen with a kind of magical bond.
Some people endlessly search for youth’s natural fond,
to find a kind of place where age is swept away
but there is something eternal to love, to its sway
to the way that it makes people to each other respond.
Even if our feelings, our energies are at a time spent,
if we have loved fully, have loved to the heart’s intent
there is still something drawing, that we feel and see
as if there is something that does in the heart descent
that is acting much deeper and totally independent,
a strange kind of thing that turns bliss into tranquility.

The Flirting Kind
She used to be the flirting kind
But the boy loved her anyway
He made up his mind
She said, whats a girl to do to be content?
Use your imagination
Time to experiment
Make love like a punishment
So they call her the flirting kind
The flirting kind
You better stop
Stop your running round
I got everything I wanted
I could make up for lost ground
With the flirting kind
The flirting kind
Your love is best
But Ill leave like the rest
The flirting kind
The flirting kind
They say that her fate is sealed
But shes much too beautiful to ever yield
She says, whats a girl to do to be content?
Use your imagination
Time to experiment
Make love like a punishment
So they call her the flirting kind
The flirting kind
Shes crying in her sleep
For a man tone deaf
So is a man all over
Hes all over, all over town
With the flirting kind
The flirting kind
Your love is best
But Ill leave like the rest
The flirting kind
The flirting kind

Slow Love
I want some slow love
The kind that lasts forever
The kind of love that will be there in the morning
I want some slow love
The kind that leaves me never
The kind of love that lasts a long long time
Now dont mistake my coolness for a cold heart
I want you more than you should know
Its just these days Im not inclined to move so fast
Why dont you stay a while say a hundred years or so
And make some slow love
The kind that lasts forever
The kind of love that will be there in the morning
I want some slow love
The kind that leaves me never
The kind of love that lasts a long long time
Im not inclined to live a lifetime in one night
Although I long to touch I yearn for much, much more
A slow love
The kind that lasts forever
The kind of love that will be there in the morning
I want some slow love
The kind that leaves me never
The kind of love I thought Id never find
The kind of love that lasts a long time
