Make me like a child
Lord, outside it’s pouring
and every thing ugly
I want to wash from me,
to fall in pools
at my feet.
Again to stand like a child
in the rain,
without worry
about where everything is going.
To rollick in bright drops
that hit splashing
against me
and to know with innocence
that everything comes from Your hand
and around me
every leave, branch, tree and flower
pays their homage to You.
You control even thunderbolts
and You are the One
that stops savage winds,
give life to an earth
that yearns for water.
l’Envoi
Lord, teach me
to serve You better and to understand,
and like a child to go to You
and in trust
to look at Your works
and to know that in everything
Your mighty hand
still folds around me protecting
and that all things
are possible and practicable to You.
Lord, again give to me
the trust and innocence of a child
that with my hope centred on You
I attempt to build my things
and although
the world about me blinds me,
like a scared child
to take Your strong hand in mine
and teach me
to keep You in my heart again.

I Trust In You Lord
Whenever I feel alone in this world
I trust in you lord
Whenever I feel no one cares me
I trust in you lord
Whenever I ashamed in front of others
I trust in you lord
Whenever my situations change so bad
I trust in you lord
Whenever my eyes cannot accommodate my tears
I trust in you lord
Whenever I become financially dreadful
I trust in you lord
Whenever I cannot shout like others
I trust in you lord
Whenever people close their eyes towards me
I trust in you lord
Whenever I cannot take any decisions
I trust in you lord
Whenever I feel myself despicable
I trust in you lord
Whenever I know nothing in my hand for tomorrow
I trust in you lord
Whenever I lose my all hope
I trust in you lord
Whenever my dreams aren't come true
I trust in you lord
Whenever I go through failure
I trust in you lord
Whenever my friends become ascendant than me
I trust in you lord
Whenever I feel I can't be in faith any more
I trust in you lord

Child of mine…
To my beautiful child, , ,
Beautiful child, being so small you inspire me big,
Beautiful child, so fragile, you make me so strong,
Beautiful child, so tender your touch your power is great,
Beautiful child, small is your heart, infinite is the love I feel for you;
Beautiful child, your hand I’m anxious to hold, to walk life’s road with you by my side.
Beautiful child, your light will show me the way,
Beautiful child, you came to my life to teach me a lesson that I shall never forget…
Nor riches, nor power can give us the best things of life…
The smile of a child…Is the best of all rewards…

Lord Protect My Child
For his age, hes wise
Hes got his mothers eyes
Theres gladness in his heart
Hes young and hes wild
My only prayer is, if I cant be there,
Lord, protect my child
As his youth now unfolds
He is centuries old
Just to see him at play makes me smile
No matter what happens to me
No matter what my destiny
Lord, protect my child
While the world is asleep
You can look at it and weep
Few things you find are worthwhile
And though I dont ask for much
No material things to touch
Lord, protect my child
Hes young and on fire
Full of hope and desire
In a world thats been raped, raped and defiled
If I fall along the way
And cant see another day
Lord, protect my child
Therell be a time I hear tell
When all will be well
When God and man will be reconciled
But until men lose their chains
And righteousness reigns
Lord, protect my child

I reach to You Lord
My childhood prayers
so easily found there mark:
With childish faith in you
and David’s words to Goliath,
I walked alone in the dark night
as a child of your bright light.
Even in the fields of death
your mighty hand gripped mine:
Out gunned, out numbered
You helped us outsmarted the enemy
and gave victory,
in the face of certain death in adversary.
At times I sensed you by my side
as if You shadowed me:
But my life is in peaces
and I reach to You Lord,
but don’t any more know how
and my prayers do not feel as if they go
much further than the ceiling.
I reach for You Lord
in the darkness of my life
and still I look for You,
in every thing around me.
I reach for You Lord
and ask to help me pray
and believe like a child,
that You are there and true
and able to help
and that Your mighty hand
still reaches out to me.

Someone You Can Trust
God is Faithful and God is Just, God is someone you can trust.
When in a trial simply be still, as God works out His Perfect Will.
He is God and from the start, He’s working to prepare your heart.
When you are tried, you will see, God is molding you for Eternity.
The Lord our God is loving friend, and concerned about our end.
Fear not which way He takes, for God above makes no mistakes.
And It cannot be your concern, when God’s Will you can’t discern.
If your path takes a sudden turn, He may be helping you to learn.
God may take you to a place, that you need His Awesome Grace.
When you do not understand, with your heart just trust His Hand.
When His Hand seems to depart, you can always trust His Heart.
Christ will not forsake you friend, He’s here to see you to the end.
The Lord is taking us one by one, down a path to reflect His Son.
And God fills us along the way, with Christ’s likeness day by day.
So as we travel this path of life, we shall shine for His Son Christ.
You can trust in Christ Jesus, for He indeed shall never leave us.
I trust in the One who died for me, so that I could live for Eternity.
My trust friend is in my Creator, Who is now my Lord and Savior.
Who can know or love me more, than Jesus Christ our dear Lord?
To get to Heaven it’s a must, that in The Lord you place your trust.
How could you not trust the one, who chose to give His Only Son,
To a dying world as a sacrifice, so men could inherit Eternal Life?
Why would I choose not to trust, the One who chose to die for us,
So through His death I could be, with Christ my Savior Eternally?
The Stolen Child
(wb yeats)
Come away, human child
To the water
Come away, human child
To the water and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand
For the worlds more full of weeping than you can understand
Where dips the rocky highland
Of sleuth wood in the lake
There lies a leafy island
Where flapping herons wake
The drowsy water rats;
There weve hid our faery vats
Full of berries
And of reddest stolen cherries
Come away, human child
To the water
Come away, human child
To the water and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand
For the worlds more full of weeping than you can understand
Where the wave of moonlight glosses
The dim gray sands with light
Far off by furthest rosses
We foot it all the night
Weaving olden dances
Mingling hands and mingling glances
Till the moon has taken flight;
To and fro we leap
And chase the frothy bubbles
While the world is full of troubles
And is anxious in its sleep
Come away, human child
To the water
Come away, human child
To the water and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand
For the worlds more full of weeping than you can understand
Where the wandering water gushes
From the hills above glen-car
In pools among the rushes
The scarce could bathe a star
We seek for slumbering trout
And whispering in their ears
We give them unquiet dreams;
Leaning softly out
From ferns that drop their tears
Over the young streams
Away with us hes going
The solemn-eyed:
Hell hear no more the lowing
Of the calves on the warm hillside;
Or the kettle on the hob
Sing peace into his breast
Or see the brown mice bob
Around and around the oatmeal-chest
For he comes, the human child
To the water
He comes, the human child
To the water and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand
From a world more full of weeping than he can understand
Human child
Human child
With a faery, hand in hand
From a world more full of weeping than he can understand...
Than he can understand...
He can understand...

Voodoo Child
Well, I stand up next to a mountain
And I chop it down with the edge of my hand
Yeah
Well, I stand up next to a mountain
And I chop it down with the edge of my hand
Well, I pick up all the pieces and make an island
Might even raise a little sand
Yeah
Cause Im a voodoo child
Lord knows Im a voodoo child baby
I want to say one more last thing
I didnt mean to take up all your sweet time
Ill give it right back to ya one of these days
Hahaha
I said I didnt mean to take up all your sweet time
Ill give it right back one of these days
Oh yeah
If I dont meet you no more in this world then uh
Ill meet ya on the next one
And dont be late
Dont be late
Cause Im a voodoo child voodoo child
Lord knows Im a voodoo child
Hey hey hey
Im a voodoo child baby
I dont take no for an answer
Question no
Yeah

Into the darkness of His hand
In the deepest valley and the darkest night
There is a hand that holds my hand
And like a child I know not my way
All I know is with whom I stand
There seems to be no way ahead
And the road before me is crumbling
My hand is in my Fathers hand
It is all that keeps me from stumbling
You dare not look to you left or right
For it falls away to the dark abyss
And the path it seems to have come to an end
Yet my hand is held tightly in His
Just when I need my senses the most
And I must not be taken by surprise
I feel my hand in my Fathers hand
And He says ' my son, close your eyes.'
And my head screams out ' you'll fall and die, '
Yet my heart feels my hand in His hand
And the Lord says ' trust in me,
Shut you eyes and together we'll stand'
And so fear and doubt gave way to trust
I closed my eyes and held His hand tight
He led me through the deepest valley
He led me through the darkest night

Cherubs
the children that the lord takes away
are the cherubs that you see in stores every day.
although it creates an empty feeling in our hearts
and we will question as to' why'.
these children have a job to do just like you and i.
the purpose or reason is beyond our control or understanding.
cherubs are child angels which god chose for a task.
their life here on earth is short and unfortunatly will not last.
although our hearts will be empty and we will be sad
they're chosen to help others, on that you should be glad.
in gods infinate wisdom he has a plan for this child.
but the lord let the child stay with you
even if it was a short while, just so that you could
feel the love that a child could bring
and to soften up your heart to many other things.
the lord wants you to picture your beautiful child
as a cherub with beautiful wings and a halo above his head
this is the reason that he was laid to rest.
at times he may take a child who is healthy
to help a child who is sick.
to lead the way to the heavenly throne
just so he won't be alone.
they are also put here on earth to protect others giving birth.

Sonnet- A Most Wonderful Christmas
This Christmas brings with it especial joy,
Not all can get even in their lifetime;
Like Jesus Christ, is born a baby-boy;
To make your family-life, still more sublime.
0 thank the Lord, the child was born alright;
0 thank the Lord, the child was born with ease;
0 thank the Lord, the child has senses right;
O thank the Lord, the child has no disease.
If boy or girl, it does not matter much;
God's gift of yet another child is great;
On mother's birthday born- what magic touch?
Miraculous, an event until date.
Maybe, God plans to give you one more try!
So make merry but never must you cry.

Trusting In The Lord
A need for trust marks the way, as things do change, day to day,
As we become self-assured, things can be changed by The Lord,
For it is The Lord, and Him alone, Who sets the plan for His own,
Having set forth a much larger plan, than in the heart of any man.
God’s Plan shall indeed survive, just as His Will keeps man alive,
And when things appear to fall apart, real Trust must fill our heart.
As Christ leads us, in His Peace, that in dark times will not cease.
While God leads us by His hand, in this sometimes troubled land.
As present days seem to darken, it’s God’s voice we must harken,
While fully trusting in God’s will, to let our troubled heart to be still,
For God alone, does not change, while His plan remains the same,
And in this dark and troubled world, it is this Truth, we must herald.
The Lord God remains in control, through every trial, big and small,
And when His Hand I cannot see, His Truth alone is enough for me,
So as I continue my life down here, I know that God is always near,
Guiding me with Power and Grace, as I continue in this earthly race.
Friend, my trust is not in man or me, but, in The God of all Eternity,
Who alone, holds all things together, not only for now, but forever;
Sustaining all things is Jesus Christ, He, Who gave me Eternal Life,
And if Eternal Life is His to give, He’s able to help me, daily to live.

I Am Your Higher Ground
The tears of my heart are falling
And each dropp is a part of me
My heart is thoroughly broken
Oh my Father in heaven can't you see
My heart lays wet on my pillow
I am wounded and broken inside
I try to hang on to what I have
Yet the floodgates are opened wide
The cry of my soul is to heaven
Yet the flood of my heart rises still
Who will heal my heart of this rupture
I have swallowed a most bitter pill
In the midst of this flood that is rising
I am overwhelmed by what I can see
I shut my eyes and cast them to heaven
And the Lord says ' keep your eyes upon me.'
Be still my child and trust in me yet
I have captured each tear in my hand
I see your afflictions and troubled heart
Upon I alone you must stand
For when the enemy comes in like a flood
And there's no hiding place to be found
I am your refuge and strong high tower
I am your higher ground
Come away with me in the midst of this storm
Will you place your heart in my hand
Trust in me oh child of mine
And together, you shall surely stand

Awake Arise & See
Is God a man a man may fool?
Finite as all we see
Could Satan fashion such a tool
To thwart The King to be
Was this the reason of the tree?
The ruse he’d use to win
Or Jesus’ means to victory
To rid the world of sin
Is not The King of Heaven real?
The Lord almighty true
Is not His powerful arm to feel?
And still today to view!
The fool will say there is no God
The blind deceived will doubt
By faith we see and feel His rod
His strong right arm so stout
By faith alone mankind will live
By faith alone we see
We trust what Heaven has to give
And hope for that to be
By faith alone we understand
By faith alone we feel
Trusting in God’s almighty hand
The Lord will all reveal
Right here and now this can be done
Witnessed by all mankind
When trusting in The Father’s Son
A child’s no longer blind
Awake and see The Truth of Him
That wisdom can’t deny
Arise with eyes no longer dim
And trust The Lord on high

Lord, You Have Got My Country In Your Hand
I
Lord, you have got my country in your hand,
have broken my whole world that’s around me,
stripped it, the precipice is everywhere
and have also taken my whole career.
Like the apostle Paul I stand in your light,
are blinded, try to get some direction,
but am smitten down upon this old earth
with a kind of pain that cuts right through me
still sight is being revealed to me
and where I pray, fall humble at your feet
you know everything, keep protecting me
as the great ruler of the universe.
Sometimes it feels like a life sentence,
but now I really know the true meaning.
II
But now I really know the true meaning
of being your child, your adopted son,
in the night around me, I know no fear
when everything suddenly is worthless
and destiny firmly, definitely
takes my property, wife and her children,
with my life broken as if it cannot heal
my country rejects me as if I am missing
but I had to come to a turn around,
while I still see your bright light shining,
that life sometimes brings a kind of poverty
had to become my own dim reality,
I had to wander in the black darkness,
I had to learn to only hold your hand.
III
I had to learn to only hold your hand,
how long do I have to beg for mercy,
do I have to trust you only blindly,
when real demons reach with their hands to me?
As a human stand against this rebellion,
when my own world is declining with me,
it feels as if darkness folds all over me,
not if Michael is conquering at all.
The onslaught shows that I am straight on target,
that my poems make the enemy vulnerable,
I have to know from the sheer fierceness
that you do win, I am touching crisis points
but teach me to trust childlike upon you,
without my poor faith in you abating.
IV
Without my poor faith in you abating
when I take the road leading to salvation,
let me then hold onto your mighty hand,
even if great evil is around me,
even if I am picking a thorny cane,
even if time passes far too quickly,
it feels I am taking an endless road
but I will get true salvation from you
where all my life is braided together,
trapped in a nest of quite painful thorns,
it is you that decide over my lot,
each day I learn a new kind of lesson,
things get right very slowly, bit by bit
when you free me, when you show me the way.
V
When you free me, when you show me the way
when the night is dark, radiates nothing,
it looks as if I am deteriorating,
when the small golden moon wanders away
your pure light will still fall upon me
where my life is like a bright small flower,
with destiny thundering in destruction,
I become somewhat dead and even dumb,
do not know how to get out of it all,
will you then still be leading me further
to where the sun rises, is bright again,
past my own fear and all of my conceit,
do you still stay with me, when I am down,
in the wet road with lamps in a dim row?
VI
In the wet road with lamps in a dim row
the faint light reflects from the falling rain,
tonight it is where I get purity,
stand washed somewhat clean and pure
against the pattering, falling water
in which there is a great kind of healing,
you understand me and are washing me,
are bringing sincerity, forgiveness
while my deceit washes away from me,
with neon lights surrounded by great fog
I am freed by dropp for dropp that falls down
as if in the storm I find purification,
you again bring me back to conversion,
in no exposure, hero veneration.
VII
In no exposure, hero veneration
praise that the angel of darkness brings,
can I sing his lustre or of his works.
Only to you, God, I am giving glory.
To you I aim my gifts, so insignificant
as a kind of love, as appreciation
as you are protecting this wanderer,
make deep words sprout from me that circle out.
Almighty Lord, I want to sing a psalm
about your love that is self-sacrificing
where you are still ruling everywhere,
about you as a living parable
that reaches with truth through all the darkness,
Lord, you have got my country in your hand.

For Every Child
For every child who cries at night
Alone with shame in pain and fright
For every child who wants so much
To only feel a gentle touch
For the beaten child, who cries in pain
Whose tears run silent, like the rain
For the child used to satisfy lust
Who never learns to love or trust
For the child taken from her home
And made to feel so all alone
For the child whose home is just a shell
Where life becomes a living hell
For the child who smiles but cannot feel
Because of scars too deep to heal
For every child who yearns for love
I hope and pray to God above
To hear your cries and heal your pain
And give you back your life again

The Children Of The Lord
From the beginning, it was decreed
That love in itself does not create life.
For love, even in its own form of life,
Has no power to create anything new.
Love is not God, but God is love.
It is He alone who brings forth life.
The human soul is bonded to its body.
From the creation of life, it is eternal.
Even after death, the soul goes on.
It is no light thing for consideration.
We do our part and the Lord does His.
Not all are granted an inheritance.
Even the righteous have no guarantee.
Even the redeemed have no certainty.
But to those who receive a child,
God looks upon the hearts of men and women,
Knowing the future as well as the past.
To Him, no secrets are Hid from His eyes.
Blessed are the ones who find His favour,
Yet do not boast and offend others.
Rejoice in your inheritance from the Lord.
It is your portion, now and for eternity.
Yet know this, love is patient...
A child is a fragile thing and slow to learn.
To teach a child is a great honour.
To love a child is a noble joy.
Be proud only in God's teachings.
They were not given in vain,
Nor without the sacrifice of Christ.
Prepare each child for the journey of life.
For what lies ahead is no easy path.
Money is a small gift compared to time.
Pity the child who has money but little love.
The children of the Lord learn to pray.
May they bring healing to their parents' hearts.
May they honour them and respect them also.
May they help around the happy home.
For what is love but a helping hand?
And what is love without a faithful spirit?
The Lord of Heaven knows us deeply.
His patience and longsuffering seek perfection.
Search yourselves to see the faults within.
Strive not for a better world, but a better you.
For the Lord created children for His glory.
May they sing the holy hymns and praise Him.
Teach them of the Teacher, Jesus, the Son of God...

Mother And Child, The Strongest Bond
So broken, broken spirit, broken heart, shattered heart, broken trust, must be strong, for herself, and the life of her child, to protect herself and her child, to survive, nowhere to go, no home, nowhere to hide, so exposed, how? You ask? How does she keep on going? In hope for someone to love her without breaking her down so badly, and for her child's sake, how? She asks, how can i trust someone, when so many people burned me? And put me down so many times? Nothing's there anymore, no feeling, just hope, but hope's fading fast, she can only dream, but the dreams are fading fast too, teaching her child to trust no one, but she doesn't know how long she'll last, the only reason why she's hung on so tightly is for her child, her child, the strongest bond is the love between a mother and child........
