Like Job
Like Job I talked
with the Lord
and couldn’t comprehend,
where my life was going
and from where
all my misery comes?
Then I saw an old man
with a metal cup
in his hand
walking past my motorbike
and his clothes was in tatters
and hope was in his eyes
Then I realized
how much better my life is
and that God
still sees every thing.

Father To Friend
My Father, Savior, Lord and Friend, God is there, at every bend,
To go to Him is never a bother, as He cares for me like a Father,
Being the Eternal Creator, He loved me enough to be my Savior,
And as I journey with my Lord, nothing in my life, will be ignored,
For The Lord God is my Friend, walking with me through the end.
As my Father God cares for me, with care that goes into eternity,
My ways, my Father understands, for all my life, is in His Hands,
For all my life God is responsible, this as, He carries out His will,
Providing needs as a father would, as God's care is understood,
In ways beyond an earthly man; this, as I am in The Father's plan.
By my Savior, I was redeemed, through His Blood I was cleaned,
Redeemed from the market of sin, while given a New Life in Him;
On the cross Christ took my wrath, to put me on a different path,
From death, I was given life, through redemption, in Jesus Christ,
Because The Savior died for me, I now have a New Life, eternally.
As my Lord Christ is in control, of my mortal life and eternal soul,
Leading me by The Spirit of Christ, while God controls all my life,
Moving through my life to fulfill, not my own, but, The Lord's will,
While I'm obligated to my God, to be His witness wherever I trod,
This as my destiny's fully assured, through the power of my Lord,
As my Friend God walks with me, upon the path towards Eternity,
A real Friend Who is always there, to show me His Love and Care,
He, Who for me, suffered and died, now, daily walks by my side,
As my guide and a comfort too, as my trials He sees me through,
In ways I couldn't comprehend, without a Father, Lord and Friend.
Lay Here
laying in the grass
the grass that quitely speaks
speaks to me
about LIFE
life is real
life is fake
life is everything
life is hard to explain
you live then you die
the grass lays and brakes to the wind
the WIND
the wind is soft
the wind is hard
the wind is everywhere
can you follow the wind?
can you be everywhere?
i lay and remember
remember my PAST
the past is mine
the past is yours
i share the past with you
so can i remember 'my' past?
as i talked to the grass
i realized that the
that befor the day i die
i will not see and know everything
i will not have been everywhere
but i will have a shared past with 'her'
a life, a life to tell others
to past down my wisdom
MY LIFE IN MY MIND IS MINE
The City With Eyes
The city with eyes
Sees everything,
City with eyes
Hears everything
Feels everything
The city with eyes
Sees people living on the rough side of the streets
Sees people eating crumbs from the floor
Sees people with ripped clothes and no shoes
Watching other people wearing lubatones walking past
It cries not one but millions of tears
For them
Tears which touch every one
Which soaks everything
Rain, they call it.
The city with eyes
Watching
What has happened to my city?
It cries with sorrow
The city with eyes
Feels the sadness
Of those in need, sad, hurt, …
Watching what was happy
To what is sad know
Walking Away
Cold winds blow around me,
And I cant help but think of you.
All the things we wanted,
All the things we had to do.
Wrap yourself around me,
We can steal away sometime.
Your whispers surround me,
But its only in my mind.
cuz Im walking away from,
Walking away from things in my own past.
Walking away from,
Walking away from things that just wont last.
You got what you wanted,
But you cant help but think of me.
All the things you wanted,
All the things you got for free.
One thing to remember
Is that I have feelings, too.
I surely would have closed my eyes
If I had known the real you.
cuz Im walking away from,
Walking away from things in my own past.
Walking away from,
Walking away from things that just wont last.
And Im walking away from,
Walking away from things that move too fast.
cuz Im walking away from,
Walking away from things in my own past.
Walking away from,
Walking away from things that just wont last.
And Im walking away from,
Walking away from things that move too fast.
Walking away from,
Walking away from things in my own past...

Visions Of Rape
Thrown on the bed
like yesterdays trash
she have morals and
life so why cant you
understand that
clothes ripped away
in anger and frustration
leaving her naked cant
you see she a jewel to
be appreciated
hand over her mouth
as you muffle her screams
she is a woman with a voice
who don't deserver these things
your forceful penetration took away her
innocents
tears in her eyes as her screams are
helpless
she is a passion of life
a fruit of god
so now she question the lord
she prays every night but
still can't forget the past
she future was bright
but now she don't want to last
so now as i sit and write these words
her pain is what i may never true know
but i say i care and hope one
day her prayers god may hear

There is something special about the sun
At six o’clock the sun blinded me
in Soutpansberg avenue
and I opened the helmet’s visor
to find a way to see.
Still it’s great to ride
in the early morning with the motorbike
and to see something of the greatness
of God’s creation.
There’s something special about the sun
in a blue sky,
if it hangs like a red ball,
or even if it blinding catches your eyes.
The fresh wind that cut past
and at times pulls
as if it wants to touch you
and the cars and busses
that still has their lights on,
brings another atmosphere
to a morning ride.
The motorbike that feels
as if it’s alive under you
and shake and trembles
with bumps in the road
and the raw power,
that lies in your hand in a throttle
brings a sensation
of the wonder of existing
and to life on this planet.

The Diary Of Me
Umm pum-pum-pum
Pum-pum, pum-pum, pum-pum
Look behind myself
As I reflect on all the memories
The times they come and go
Lost everything from friends to Family
If I could turn back the hands
There would be some things I'd change about me
I know that my past is not what my future holds
Where I come from
Who could believe
All the pain and misery
Look in my eyes and you'll see
The diary of me
Rewind my life
Just go back and correct all the wrong
And ask God to direct my path
So that I can make it home
And if I could turn back the hands of time
There would be some things I would change about me
But I know that my past is not what my future holds
'Cause
Where I'm from
Who could believe
All the pain, misery
Look in my eyes and you will see
The diary of me
Years ago a child was born (a child was born) (ooh)
And raised without a man (without my... father, and wonder why he's in these streets) (ooh)
My mother's gone (mothers gone, yet still... found the strength to pray for me) (ooh)
But still reached out her hand
Just open the book (na-na-na-na-na-na)
Turn the pages of my life (na-na-na)
And you will read
A true story about one man's journey
Where I'm from (ahh...)
Who would believe, yeah
That all the hurt and pain and misery (ahh...)
Look in my eyes (ahh...)
You'll see the diary of me (pum-pum-pum-pum-pum)
Where I'm from (where I'm from, who could believe) (ahh...)
Who could believe (the hurt and pain and misery)
(Look in my eyes) in my eyes (and you will see) (ahh...)
(The makings of) the makings of
(My diary) my diary
(Where I'm from) look in my eyes (ahh...)
(Who could believe) you'll see
(The hurt and pain and misery)
(Look in my eyes) (ahh...)
(And you will see) yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah

Walking Away
I'm happier when you left
I'm learning to love myself more and I become less confused
At this point I understand what I want and what is right for me
I know there is someone out there for me who appreciate me and love me for who I am
Walking away
All you want was one thing and was using me
I finally open my eyes and realized that good guys are better and is one for me
I don't want this in relationship
I want take things slow and get to know that person
I want guy who respect me, funny, that
I can have good time with, love me and good personality
I hope one day I meet Mr. Right
Walking away
After all we been through
We both want different things
It will never work no matter how much we try too
Me leaving was right thing to do
I want better for myself
I can honestly say I can finally move on
I'm glad that I am

Hope
When I do not understand the darkness,
the things that prison you away from me
at places where no light can fall
it’s as if my whole life is extradited
to the one or other power
which destiny claims as its own
and I am just another player
who in Black Jack can count cards
but this is a totally different game
where the power of destiny
and of luck
always has the upper hand
and at times like in Hearts
you fold
and put your cards down on the table
and not always
are dealt the right, the best hand
by forces which you do not comprehend
are forced
to keep on playing the game
while life keeps on
dealing out new cards
and at times the loss is far greater
than you can comprehend
and you loose the hope
of a new tomorrow, of deliverance
somewhere along the way
and wonder about the hope,
the power of love.

Love Out Loud(LOL)
I love you
It starts with those three little words.
Those tiny little butterflies in your darn
gut.
What the eye sees, the heart wants.
You let yourself fall so easily.
With nothing left to break your fall
Someone should have told you that
when you fall
A hand's gotta catch you.
Darn it! , nobody said it was easy
Nobody said it'll be tough either.
You're in love.
His laughter penetrates your silence
Like drunken men find flaws in science.
He couldn't be more perfect
The one you waited for your whole life.
You're happy.
Fulfilled.
Complete.
Loved.
…. .Or so it seems….
For loving eyes can never see
You don't see. You can't see.
The fog of love blinds your vision.
Love indeed is blind.
Water carries sand and time away.
Who knew?
You wanna runaway
But you can't let go.
Two halves make a whole.
You sold yours out.
Move on. Move on. You say to yourself.
But you keep going back…
To the one you love desperately…
He's gone. Moved on.
You're stuck.
You check the clock. The second hand
ain't moving.
The second hand won't move.
All's still.
His touch broke you.
His kiss melt ice…..cold, cold ice.
It's so hard letting go of the one you'll
never replace.
Tears fall to the ground.
A hand picks them. Drop by drop.
You look down.
The eye sees. The heart refuses to
want.
Ain't no falling this time.
Indifferent eyes wear goggles.
All's clear and imperfect.
He loves you. You don't care.
He loves you. You play along.
For misery does need company.
He loves you. You draw back.
Tick. Tock. Ping. Pong.
He loved. You played. He's gone.
You check the clock. The second hand
moves.
All's in motion. He's walking.
Walking away from you…to return no
more.
You got what you wanted.
You lost what you needed.
You are left with no one.
No one at all.
I ask for one minute to make you
understand.
When you love and get hurt
Love again.
For I have found a paradox, that if you
love till your heart breaks, till it hurts…
There can be no more hurt, only more
love…

A Mysterious Man Or A Deja Vu Experience?
I'm walking on the street and a lot of people passing by,
I'm just in a middle of a crowd and suddenly i felt shivers on my spine,
I met his eyes and i want to keep on walking,
But i've noticed my body didn't responding.
His charming eyes than, i could see,
He was stopping also to stare at me,
He has something special that i feel i know,
Our eyes meet and we smiled with glow.
I feel something different that i can't explain,
It's like i know him forever or it seems to me,
The warmth of his look is melting me with a smile,
Why i'm feeling so, my face is burning like fire.
The sparkle in his eyes, his look so divine,
It makes my lips sealed, i couldn't say a thing,
I'm keep on gaze at him and i saw in his amazing eyes,
All my life developing with my sorrows, my success, my dreams.
Do i know him, he seem familiar to me,
I feel hypnotize by his eyes, i can't move, i can't do a thing,
I keep stare at him and asking myself,
Do i know you mysterious man, do we met in this life or another galaxy?
I feel his warmth, his love,
And i don't want to lose him,
Who is this man standing in front of me,
Is he a mysterious man or a deja vu experience?

Uncertainties Ahead
There is now a darkness before me, a darkness filled with uncertainty,
Yet, the One who I am certain of, is my Lord God, Who reigns above;
Above me always, God resides, and in God’s Truth, my heart abides,
So my Lord forever lights my ways, even through these darkest days.
As dark and uncertain it may appear, the Lord my God is always near,
Truly walking by my side every day, as Christ leads me along the way,
Then as darkness seems to overtake, my life, my Lord God will make,
A way which sees me safely through, in ways that only God could do.
This present darkness, I face now, The Lord in Heaven just may allow,
To mold me as a believer to grow, or for reasons that I may not know,
Or allowed by God; a trial or a test, as He wants for me His very best,
So whatever reason this time I face, God will supply all needed Grace.
God is in total control of all my life, as I follow my Lord, Jesus Christ,
And in God’s Word it’s understood, everything happens for our good,
While unknowing what the outcome is, I am totally secure in being His,
And while in His hand safe and secure, through any trial I shall endure.
All my trials and the uncertainties, my Lord and God knows and sees,
And when that trial is dark as night, I am guided by my Savior’s Light,
It is God’s Love, not my endurance, that provides me total assurance,
And God’s overwhelming Peace, as that darkness begins to increase.

Compromise
You wear
The cloth
Of finest lands
The touch of women the toil of hands
Undress
Me now
Before I bend
From the weight of everyman
When Im walking through this world
I need to hold your hand
Let me take you on this ride
I hope you understand
Im not asking for a compromise
Now you
Defend
Exhume
Begin again
Its the riddle of a skeleton
Were all
Diseased
So count the coup
I cant image stopping you
When Im walking through this world
I need to hold your hand
Let me take you on this ride
I hope you understand
Im not asking for a compromise
So the earth
We scorch
We breath
Find some comfort on our knees
You find
Your worth
In words that wind
Pleasures I dont comprehend
When Im walking trough this world
I need to hold your hand
Let me take you on this ride
I hope you understand
Im not asking for a compromise
Asking for a compro
Asking for a compromise

Pull Out The Pin
Just as we hit the green,
Ive never been so happy to be alive.
Only seven miles behind
You could smell the child,
The smell of the front lines survival.
With my silver buddha
And my silver bullet,
(I pull the pin.)
You learn to ride the earth,
When youre living on your belly and the enemy are city-births.
Who need radar? we use scent.
They stink of the west, stink of sweat.
Stink of cologne and baccy, and all their yankee hash.
With my silver buddha
And my silver bullet,
(Im pulling on the pin,)
Ooh, I pull out, pull out the pin.
(pulling on the pin, oh...)
Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
And I love life!
Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
And I love life!
I love life!
I love life!
Ive seen the coat for me.
Ill track him til he drops,
Then Ill pop him one he wont see.
Hes big and pink, and not like me.
He sees no light.
He sees no reason for the fighting
With my silver buddha
And my silver bullet.
(Im pulling on the pin,)
Ooh, I pull out, pull out the pin.
(pulling on the pin, oh...)
I had not seen his face,
til Im only feet away
Unbeknown to my prey.
I look in american eyes.
I see little life,
See little wife.
Hes striking violence up in me.
With my silver buddha
And my silver bullet.
Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
And I love life!
Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
And I love life!
I love life!
I love life!
Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
And I love life!
Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
And I love life!
Just one thing in it:
Me or him.
And I love life!
I love life!
I love life!

Ch 01 Manner Of Kings Story 09
An Arab king was sick in his state of decrepitude so that all
hopes of life were cut off. A trooper entered the gate with the good
news that a certain fort had been conquered by the good luck of the
king, that the enemies had been captured and that the whole population
of the district had been reduced to obedience. The king heaved a
deep sigh and replied: 'This message is not for me but for my enemies,
namely the heirs of the kingdom.'
I spent my precious life in hopes, alas!
That every desire of my heart will be fulfilled.
My wishes were realized, but to what profit? Since
There is no hope that my past life will return.
The hand of fate has struck the drum of departure.
O my two eyes, bid farewell to the head.
O palm, forearm, and arm of my hand,
All take leave from each other.
Death, the foe of my desires, has fallen on me
For the last time, O friends. Pass near me.
My life has elapsed in ignorance.
I have done nothing, be on your guard.
Walking Away
I'm walking away from the troubles in my life
I'm walking away oh to find a better day
I'm walking away from the troubles in my life
I'm walking away oh to find a better day
I'm walking away
sometimes some people get me wrong
when it's something I've said or done
sometimes you feel there is no fun
that's why you turn and run
but now I truly realise
some people don't wanna cpomromise
well I saw them with my own eyes spreading those lies
and well I don't wanna live my life too many sleepless nights
not mentioning the fights i'm sorry to say lady
I'm walking away from the troubles in my life
I'm walking away oh to find a better day
I'm walking away from the troubles in my life
I'm walking away oh to find a better day
I'm walking away
Well I'm so tired baby
things you say you're driving me away
whispers in the powder room baby
don't listen to the games they play
girl I thought you'd realise
I'm not like them other guys
coz I saw them with my own eyes
you should've been more wise
and well I don't wanna live my life too many sleepless nights
not mentioning the fights I'm sorry to say lady
I'm walking away from the troubles in my life
I'm walking away oh to find a better day
I'm walking away from the troubles in my life
I'm walking away oh to find a better day
I'm walking away

The Exploding Boy
I couldn't hear a word you said
I couldn't hear at all
You talked until your tongue fell out
And then you talked some more
I knew if i turned
I'd turn away from you
And i couldn't look back
Tell yourself we'll start again
Tell yourself it's not the end
Tell yourself it couldn't happen
Not this way
Not today

Into The Looking Glass
Who is viewer
of own reflected image?
Do you see en-fleshed
reality as youth,
radiant in bullet proof
life, embracing beauty,
or age en-fleshed;
as ancient life survivor?
Is held looking glass
in the hand of age or beauty?
Interesting is what each
woman sees, the now of youth,
or lined reality, of age
or memories of youth; that linger.
Some gaze deeply into
the glass, past surface experience.
Through the eyes of seeing
through eye of inner soul.
Does the young man see
in his face, reflection of girlfriend?
Is the sparkle in his eyes,
for her or the girl, he hopes to find?
Does he seek one or many?
The wild ones, are ever attractive.
Does the girl see the bride?
A man to be moulded into marriage?
Do people really desire
to see, themselves in the mirror?
Or do they look with hope
or dreams, fitting flesh accordingly?
Changing hair perfume clothes,
shape, is cosmetic transition.
Others re-sculpture entire body
to create, plastic fantastic.
Those who cannot stand reflection
find form, in hall of mirrors.
Reflections born of desire can be
mind interactive, blade dreams.
Some hate image bent through years
while others, embrace soul’s journey.
Remember quote 'A monkey is superior
to man, in that when it looks in the mirror,
all it sees is a monkey.’ Yet this is not true,
a monkey sees status and primacy paramount.
Each monkey sees, own others, integral place
interactive, dependent place; within the troop.

Lord May I Come?
Life and night are falling from me,
Death and day are opening on me,
Wherever my footsteps come and go,
Life is a stony way of woe.
Lord, have I long to go?
Hallow hearts are ever near me,
Soulless eyes have ceased to cheer me:
Lord may I come to thee?
Life and youth and summer weather
To my heart no joy can gather.
Lord, lift me from life’s stony way!
Loved eyes long closed in death watch for me:
Holy death is waiting for me –
Lord, may I come to-day?
My outward life feels sad and still
Like lilies in a frozen rill;
I am gazing upwards to the sun,
Lord, Lord, remembering my lost one.
O Lord, remember me!
How is it in the unknown land?
Do the dead wander hand in hand?
God, give me trust in thee.
Do we clasp dead hands and quiver
With an endless joy for ever?
Do tall white angels gaze and wend
Along the banks where lilies bend?
Lord, we know not how this may be:
Good Lord we put our faith in thee –
O God, remember me.
