Ground zero

At a time I was forced
to go to ground zero
and there nobody
wanted to be a hero,
but some without choice
let the training take command
and did really brave things.

In war it’s a place,
where bullets fly
and the battle rages
at its worst
and bombs explode
and the living is worst
than dead.

The deafening noise
of the toys of war
at places still clatter on,
but reality leaves
people wounded, crushed and destroyed.

I wonder if it was the place,
where my soul was lost
and emptiness filled my heart
and the meaning
of life was gone?

(Forgiveness Poem) An Open Battle Field

My heart is an open battle field
Shoot your bombs.
Lay your mines.
With every wound received.
I will be fine.
Swimming through the time
Let me hit the point of being numb.

Controlling the masses
Just bow down.
And take it in the rear.
Watch as you lose another one you hold so dear.
Falling off the radar.
Who are you?
What are you doing here?
Is this where the poor live?
How long do you think you can survive?

My heart is an open battle field
Shoot your bombs.
Lay your mines.
With every wound received.
I will be fine.
Swimming through the time
Let me hit the point of being numb.

The world is committing suicide.
Everyone just swallow your pride.
If you expect the help from others.
You got to give all you have give.
Lord in my heart let me forgive.
No matter my hated enemy.

My heart is an open battle field
Shoot your bombs.
Lay your mines.
With every wound received.
I will be fine.
Swimming through the time
Let me hit the point of being numb.

It is a forced occurrence.
Not as we want but as we must.
The rules of greed.
In heaven I concede.
Their can't be this hierarchy.
Ruled under one thumb.
The gloom of this darkness.
Follow the leader.

My heart is an open battle field
Shoot your bombs.
Lay your mines.
With every wound received.
I will be fine.
Swimming through the time
Let me hit the point of being numb.

The teachers, or the preachers?
How do we view one another.
Painting another pretty rainbow.
The colors of the perfected flaws.
Lets put everything on pause.
Just look at us.
Divided by nothing.
Yet communication is non existent.
With every second the meaning is yet to met.
Dire consequences.

My heart is an open battle field
Shoot your bombs.
Lay your mines.
With every wound received.
I will be fine.
Swimming through the time
Let me hit the point of being numb.

Grabbing the gun and knife.
Preparing to defends ones life.
All because we can't share.
Like little children we fight our wars.
With equality being important above all else.
Death to this diluted common practice.
Lets just be as we are.
Deny the skies all you want.
Their still there.
Hovering in the air.

My heart is an open battle field
Shoot your bombs.
Lay your mines.
With every wound received.
I will be fine.
Swimming through the time
Let me hit the point of being numb.

I'm already gone.
In a higher place.
In a world disapproving.
To my conclusion.
But I don't even care.
I don't believe in fair.

I expect to receive the worst.
Cause in this life we have been cursed.
But it is the only way we can learn.
With the heart it has to be earned.
With all that is good I'm concerned.

My heart is an open battle field
Shoot your bombs.
Lay your mines.
With every wound received.
I will be fine.
Swimming through the time
Let me hit the point of being numb.

We are men that have the ability to find choice.
With this we should rejoice.
But instead we try to remove it and the responsibility of it.
Should I be angry?
Should I be mad?
Should I try to destroy other men?
With hope I pray that I can be forgiven.
Evil is the intent.
The world is trying to circumvent.
Shortcuts to the end.

My heart is an open battle field
Shoot your bombs.
Lay your mines.
With every wound received.
I will be fine.
Swimming through the time
Let me hit the point of being numb.

Original - Time, My Worst Enemy

Time, My Worst Enemy
Keeping me away from you
Time, My Worst Enemy
Moving slowly when we’re apart

Time, My Worst Enemy
Fleeting when you are near
Time, My Worst Enemy
Battling with it daily

Time, My Worst Enemy
Stealing moments from the clock
Time, My Worst Enemy
Until you are in my arms again

Time, My Worst Enemy
Rapidly chasing us down
Time, My Worst Enemy
He will not take you this time

Time, My Worst Enemy
You are in my arms to stay
Time, My Worst Enemy
Has Lost!

Called Them Heros...

Many have been wounded on the
battlefield of life. Wounded, in
their homes, streets and back
alleys of social interaction.

In the battle to survive, are there
more formidable enemies, than
grief, loneliness, illness, poverty,
and lost love?

So many, although seemingly
defeated, by an army of foes,
to opposition of life and living,
they fight...go on.

Countless millions, are wounded by
emotional bullets...lethal grenades
of death, taking a loved one... and the
machine gun fire, of cancer and
other devastating diseases.

Yet, with a courage that can not be
measured, these unsung heroes
..go on.

Let there be a Congressional Medal
Of Honor, for life, for those unsung
heroes and their unyielding courage. Let
them know, in their time of need,
we shall provide them with, they emotional
medicine and care they require.
Love, compassion and understanding.

The next time, the word 'hero' is spoken,
look around, for on the battlefield of

Anthem for doomed maturity

“First liberation and then
education, ”
thousands of voices
cried
and black youngsters
burnt schools to the ground,
destroyed examination papers
and stop others from learning.

Even though they sacrificed
education, some their lives
and in a way
brought freedom,
jobless damnation waited
for a uneducated segment
of society.

As time passed maturity came
and they were condemned
to manual labour,
thrived in criminality
and not one of them
was really free,
to become what they could
while destiny
measured out its toll.

To be living at the bottom rungs
of society,
was worst than being dead
and each and every day
was filled with dread
and the words of their anthem
faded away,
while reality structured
the tune that life played.

Ryan's Journey

There cannot be something bigger than me.
My body and mind it would say.
The things I see and the things I hear.
They must be the only way.

For years I truly believed this.
And then one day I did fall.
The things that I thought were the truth and were right.
It wasn’t the truth at all.

I then set out on a journey.
To places that I’d never known.
It was a journey to go in my mind and my heart.
And to soften my heart made of stone.

I was given a book and some angels.
To lead me on my new quest.
My old journey it brought the worst out of me.
I hoped this new one could bring out the best.

The journey began dark and was painful.
The hurts that were hidden inside.
It was then I reached the first destination.
This place it was called “Ryan’s Pride”.

I thought I was bigger then everything.
But something was bigger than me.
As I walked through the town that was called Ryan’s pride.
I thought to myself how could this be?

In this town I saw so many people.
And they all looked just like myself.
Everything they said they were right, I was wrong.
Time to put this town up on a shelf.

I said farewell to this town.
Down another path is where I went.
It was then I came across another big town.
This town it was called “I Resent”.

Everyone in this town was so bitter.
And the language they spoke was called hate.
They carried these things they called “grudges”.
On a dirty and tarnished old slate.

So I went and I purchased some “grudges”.
Saw the dirtiest slate I’d ever seen.
Then I went and purchased some bleach and some cloths.
And I wiped my dirty slate clean.

I left 'I Resent' shortly after.
I was glad it was bitter and cold.
The next stop on my journey of life.
Was a town that was called “I Controlled”.

Everyone in this place was so bossy.
And they picked each other apart.
Not letting anyone try to be themselves.
A town beating with only one heart.

I tried to fit into this town here.
But nobody would just let me be.
It just didn’t matter, I was never right.
These people they wouldn’t accept me.

In this town I saw a girl fall and get hurt.
I went and helped her to her feet.
And she said, “I am such a failure”.
This girl she looked truly beat.

I told her she was not a failure.
There was a lesson she learned from her fall.
I encouraged her for she had so many strengths.
And then this humble girl stood very tall.

I pondered the paths I had walked down.
And the cities that I came across.
I realized when I came to these cities in these towns.
That my heart and my mind they were lost.

All the people I hurt and battered.
The promises I never kept.
The burdens I placed on the people I loved.
It was me that I didn’t accept.

There were many more towns that I visited.
In the journey of my heart and my mind.
It wasn’t until the final stop I would reach.
It is where the Truth I would find.

This town it sat very empty.
Not a soul in this place did I see.
It was a beautiful town, it was called 'Love'.
This peaceful place was just for me.

Our world it is filled with seekers.
And we each were given a quest.
Sometimes you have to see the worst in yourself.
And just know it can bring out the best.

I am thankful that I took my journey.
I am thankful for my loving guide.
For the destination He wanted me to reach.
It came from my journey inside.

Take The Money And Run

Stuart elliot vocal
Ask yourself a question now there's a multiple choice
"you've only one shot, get it right", says a distance voice
Don't get your head into a spin
If only you could see the mess you're in
The enemy is closing in see the white of his eye
He's taking in his prey in sight it's just a matter of time
May the games begin the best man win
If only you could see the mess you're in
Is it the pride in you that wont let go
Is it the fool that wont let it show
Free yourself
If only you could see yourself
If you could see yourself
And when the heavens opened up and the walls come tumbling down
You know there is the only place to go
And when you've had enough of fighting
And every mean trick under the sun
But still you fear the worst is yet to come
Take the money and run
Countthe bottles one by one as the fall to the ground
Search your mind your heart your soul until the answer is found
But watch your step the ice is thin
If only you could see the mess you're in
The man in black looks down on you the insignificant one
To be or not if all so true the deal is almost done
It matters not you're lost to him
If only you could see the mess you're in
Is it the pride in you that wont let go
Is it the fool that wont let it show?
Free yourself
If only you could see yourself
If you could see yourself
And when the heavens opened up and the walls come tumbling down

No Place For Angels

you first seduce me
baptized with fire
my one addiction
your sweet desire
is living in a world of hate and greed
standing on the edge of time
we had paradise but that was lost
forever to mankind
no place for angels
for you and me
no place for angels
i'm lost in your reality
were life seems so unreal
i feel the madness
with jesus liar
the one creation
obsessed by fire
is living in a world of hate and greed
standing on the edge of time
we had paradise but that was lost
forever to mankind
no place for angels
for you and me
no place for angels
i'm lost in your reality
were life seems so unreal
you may think im just a crazy guy
in my world of madmans brain
do i live my life in a fake disguise
is my world just caving in?

Minefield

Thunder came from the grass
and open the earth split
tearing the wheels from a armoured car

and again the ear deafening roar
just as before lightening leaped
right from the ground
slicing at a battle tank

and then most of the armour
draw back to safe ground
and two officers went right in
through the battle din of machinegun
and tank canon

to extract a tank with a wounded man
while shrapnel fell and bullets screamed
across their heads
and at the craters edge repaired,
got that piece of armour moving again.

Without dreams, there's mo reality,
I have no dreams, no reality,
Every lock has its key,
I have no locks, no keys,
I have a life,
I don't live,
I will see death,
Which cherish,
Every moment I belong,
To no one else but me,
Seeking stone filled paths all alone,
I lost the word WE,
I have a big place,
So I may sleep,
Not a single shoulder,
So I can weep,
I have people,
I have no friends,
I have a mailbox,
Nobody sends,
I stay here,
I don't live,
I have many questions,
No answers to give,
The place i stay, is it my home?
But I'm not living,
It's just a place,
It's not home.......

The Battle of Life

Never give up, though life be a battle
Wherein true men may fail, and true causes be sold;
Yet, on the whole, however may rattle
The thunders of chance, scaring cowards like cattle—
Clear victory’s always the bride of the bold.
Armed in your right-though friendship deny you,
And love fall away when the storm’s at the worst,
Count not your loss, Was destined to try you—
Bear the brunt like a man, and your deeds shall ally you
To natures more noble and true than the first.

Rail not at Fate: if rightly you scan her,
There’s none loves more strongly the heart that endures:
On, in the hero’s calm resolute manner,
Still bear aloft your hope’s long-trusted banner,
And the day, if you do but live through it, is yours.

Be this your faith; and if killing strokes clatter
On your harness where true men before you have died,
Fight on, let your life-blood be poured out like water—
Fight on, make at least a brave end of the matter,
Brave end of the struggle if nothing beside

The Psalm Of Life

What the heart of the young man said to the psalmist
Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!--
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.

Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.

Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way;
But to act, that each to-morrow
Find us farther than to-day.

Art is long, and Time is fleeting,
And our hearts, though stout and brave,
Still, like muffled drums, are beating
Funeral marches to the grave.

In the world's broad field of battle,
In the bivouac of Life,
Be not like dumb, driven cattle!
Be a hero in the strife!

Trust no future, howe'er pleasant!
Let the dead Past bury its dead!
Act,--act in the living present!
Heart within, and God o'erhead!

Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime,
And departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sands of time;

Footprints, that perhaps another,
Sailing o'er life's solemn main,
A forlorn and shipwrecked brother,
Seeing, shall take heart again.

Let us, then, be up and doing,
With a heart for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing,
Learn to labor and to wait.
