Glory To God

Glory to God, some early birds does sing
while in winter the icy snow does glow,
in summers the sun rise hot and lovely
while there is some pleasure in everything,
and with tranquillity the waters do flow
while all of nature then feels somewhat free

All things over time then begins to change
as if joy, is found everywhere with glee
and in this we do God’s presence know
although nothing is out of place or strange
as then all things has beauty.

My Snowfall

My eyes behold its beauty
As my hand
Reaches out for its touch,
While my face
Feels that certain tingle
That makes me love
Snow so much!
My heart embraces its coming
The way a child frolics
In the fallen snow! My beautiful snowfall
Brings joy to my spirit
And sunshine to my day.
It doesn't matter
Whether it be a blizzard
Or a dusting of flakes,
Snow falling from the sky
To me looks the same
Any old way!
Snow, my ever lovely snowfall! Be it Valentine's Day,
President's Day,
And yes,
Be it Groundhog Day!
Let it snow
I walk in it,
As well as sing in it!
I play in the snow
And build my favorite snowman,
Then chase
Each falling flake
As fast as I can! Each breath of air
Feels crystal clear
Making Winter so very dear!
Each descending flake
Falls as if it were
A blessing from the angels,
Appreciating this gift
Of nature from God,
More than any other
Man created pleasure! Let it snow
As well as
Let the winds blow!
I wait for the snow every year,
And can't stop smiling
When it finally appears!
Snowfall, my snowfall!

Achieve Goals of Dreams!

Innocent animal pleasure of child is harmless!
Playful quest urges him to do so to get satisfaction.
With a little knowledge he likes pictures, colours
and enjoys beautiful things in dress and all things!

Perfectionist loves to see beauty in all activities,
Loves beauty of Nature, beautiful things ever,
Loves to do in a beautiful way whatever he loves;
Aesthetic nature grows since childhood on sure!

Then thinking age begins him to feel about drawbacks;
Seeks loneliness in Peaceful places of Nature at first;
His taste of beauty diverts him towards Nature's beauty:
Sea, sky, misty hills, snow mountains, smooth rivers,
Green meadows, smiling flowers, moon and stars....!

He goes to such places often far from the madding lads;
Gets peace of mind and communes with Nature in toto;
Becomes also a mystic soon enjoying the bliss endless!
He regains new spirit full of enthusiasm and begins life
Again from the scratch to achieve goals of his dreams...!

Summer To Winter

summer to winter
and spring to fall
things will change
everything rearranged
people will shift
relationships drift
but things that are known
the love that is shown
will help you through
as things change
others stay the same

the sun will shine
things will grow
tides will rise
and stars will glow

just because some things aren't the same
doesn't mean everything will change
just look to the skyy.
or watch the falling tides
and find hope in the things you know.

The Beauty Of Nature The Poets Inspire

Were I a poet I'd write of Nature's beauty around me
The songs of the birds on bush, hedge and tree
The flowers of the garden so lovely to see
The beauty of Nature to look at is free.

The babble of the waterways the brook, creek and rill
That flow to the river downland from the hill
That flows to the coast all the way to the sea
One of Nature's Goddess wonders none as great as she.

Of singing her praises could one ever tire
The beauty of Nature the poets inspire
To pen their poems to her of her praises they do sing
The beauty of Nature outlives her every Spring.

And though all of her life forms to life come and go
Goddess of Nature whose secrets anybody does not know
Will live on forever she will never die
Unlike all other mortals such as you and I.

Summers Gone

Looking in a window on a rainy day.
Thinking about good things that I just threw away.
Looking in the gutter, watching the trash go flowing by.
Thinking its summer, but there are only clouds in the sky.
When I think about what we wasted, makes me sad,
We never appreciated what we had.
Now Im standing in a doorway with my overcoat on,
It really feels like summers gone.
So alone.
Summers gone.
It should have been a laugh, it should have been fun,
When I think of all the things that we did last summer.
Now I look back, it seems such a crime,
We couldnt appreciate it at the time.
Now Im standing in a doorway, thinking of summers gone by.
It ought to make me happy, but it just makes me want to cry.
I was riding in the car with my mum and dad,
He was drivin the car, the kids were drivin him mad.
Dad looked at us, then he looked at his wife,
He must have wondered where we all came from.
And then mum said, dad, you know it wont last for long,
Before you know it, summers gone.
So alone.
Summers gone.
I really blew it all, when I think it through,
I really lost it all when I lost you.
Now Im standing in a doorway with water in my shoes,
It really feels like, feels like summers gone.
So alone.
Summers gone.
Summers gone, so alone.
Summers gone.

Sing Your Life

Sing your life
Any fool can think of words that rhyme
Many others do
Why dont you ?
Do you want to ?
Oh...
Sing your life
Walk right up to the microphone
And name
All the things you love
All the things that you loathe
Oh, sing your life
The things that you love
And the things you loathe
Oh, sing your life
Oh, sing your life
La, la-la, la-la, sing your life
La, la-la, la-la, sing your life
Others sang your life
But now is a chance to shine
And have the pleasure of
Saying what you mean
Have the pleasure of
Meaning what you sing
Oh, make no mistake my friend
All of this will end
So sing it now (sing your life)
All the things you love (sing your life)
All the things you loathe
Oh, sing your life
The things that you love
And the things you loathe (sing your life)
Oh, sing oh...
Oh, sing oh...
La, la-la, la-la, sing your life
La, la-la, la-la, sing your life
Dont leave it all unsaid
Somewhere in the wasteland of your head, oh
Head, oh, head, oh, head, oh
And make no mistake, my friend
Your pointless life will end
But before you go
Can you look at the truth ?
You have a lovely singing voice
A lovely singing voice
And all of those
Who sing on-key
They stole the notion
From you and me
So, sing your life (sing your life)
Sing your life (sing your life)
Oh, sing your oh...
Oh, sing your
Sing your life
Sing your life
Sing your life
Oh, sing your oh...
(sing your life)
(sing your life)
Sing your life
(sing your life)

With The Wonders Of Nature

With the wonders of Nature nothing to compare
And the Goddess of Nature she lives everywhere
And the secrets of Nature not for humans to know
At the magic of Nature our wonder does grow.

The beauty of Nature is for all to see
It is all around you and it is all around me
The cold winds of Winter blow up from the sea
But how lovely the pink flowers bloom on the camellia tree.

The music of Nature an amazing thing
On trees and on bushes the birds chirp and sing
I feel that to Nature us humans too belong
Though in saying that some may say I have got it wrong.

The beauty of Nature I see every day
And I marvel at her is all I can say
The passing of her Seasons have left me looking gray
And in her dark earthy bosom my remains will lay.

Ode To Spring

I

Lovely spring, like an enchanter freeing
the hard dry earth from being dead,
the first of your works I am seeing

while sprouts appear from winter’s bed
on branches blooming flowers glow
in colours of white, yellow, pink and red

while the early summer wind does already blow
more flowers are rising from the grave by your magic will
while your powers works high and low

from the marsh up onto the hill
and there is new life everywhere,
that comes so suddenly from your great skill

while insects, bees and birds flutter in the air
and not a single leave is shed
while in flowering you take great care

while like a princess you veil covers your head,
your wedding dress over all of nature is spread.

II

Your helpers are busy with a big commotion
while into the air with pollen they surge,
while your kingdom stretches over land to the ocean

and from existence, time’s verge
to earth you have constantly life given
with happy awakenings from winter’s dirge

constantly to supreme beauty you have striven
as if by magic coming from fortune’s height
and away you have the touches of winter driven,

away you have swept that dark dying night
while rain fell water are flowing in streams,
back you have brought frivolity and sheer light,

you have turned whimpering screams
into the magic of coming summer dreams.

III

Where you come there is no fear,
no suffering that you bring,
only the jolly songs that one hears

as more and more flowers are awakening
coming to the summing of what joy should be
while your presence is gorgeous and striking,

a gift with love that is coming totally free
while you rush about at great speed,
to nature are bringing growth and tranquillity

coming at a time of dire need
to transform over night when winter is gone
while unseen suddenly you proceed

bringing fruits and the summer on
as of all seasons you are the loveliest one.

Hard snow

The surface was shining with glow
As the sun was lazy and very slow
It had no impact on ground
Everything looked beautiful and sound

It was all white and clad with snow
I have come very close to know
It has steel like quality and stiffness
Though very beautiful with smoothness

Every season there is fresh snowfall
It is beautiful response to the seasonal call
Change over in every season with fresh impetus
Life to be tested in different way thus

We pick many good things from nature
Snow may melt and that is fact for sure
It is natural to be submissive and change
As per environment and manage

I find it exactly the opposite
With some of the things very near in sight
I too find it quite natural with their non performance
It stays same and doe4s not change even at once

Nature doesn’t change so are the human
Same can be seen with man and woman
“We will not change at what we are and what should be”
The originality should not be lost to be looked very free

All natural process to take place in destined hour
Snow to melt, evaporate and form the cloud to pour
Again to come down on earth and repeat the cycle
There is constant change and definitely makes full circle

I wondered at the snow with concealed mildness
Though very hard outer space but no wilderness
May be the same with human nature only to reflect kindness
Retaining same hardness but presenting it with fineness

I want the snow to melt and flood the rivers
Rush with madness to touch the shores
What else remains to be seen?
I am at receiving end and very keen

The Glory Of God

The earth is filled with the glory of God
As the waters cover the sea
He is the one who came and died for you
He is the one who has set you free

His glory covers all of the earth
And the heavens are full of His praise
His brightness is brighter than a thousand suns
So to Him our hands we must raise

He stands and measures all of the earth
And the perpetual hills bow down
The deep cries out and lifts its hands
To the King who now wears a crown

The sun and the moon stand still in their place
All the earth is hushed by your sight
And the heavens retreat and cover their face
For what was dark has now become light

Then I saw a new heaven, and behold a new earth
For all things had now passed away
For the Lord had come down and took His place
And this is what I heard Him say

I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End
Living waters flow freely from Me
Every tear I have come, to wipe away
And in my presence, forever, you will be!

On Hearing A Magpie Sing

The magpie sings in the bright sunshine of a humid and a warm day
Perhaps he is telling us something that rain is not that far away
For birds do sing in changing weather on a very warm day when birdsong you hear
You know there's a change in the weather that thundery weather is near.

Birds and animals are more sensitive to Nature than we are since nearer to Nature they live
They pollinate plants in their feeding from Nature they take and to her other things give
They are more Nature friendly than we are and on her resources less of a drain
The huge increase in the human population on Mother Nature does place a huge strain.

So little I know about Nature and so much of her I'd love to know
I fell in love with her as a schoolboy now that seems a long time ago
A wise old lady once did tell me that when out of Season the birds sing
That they detect a change in the weather Nature is a marvellous thing.

The magpie he sings in the sunshine on a warm day of thirty degrees
In his song he is trying to tell me that he senses the rain in the breeze
He can detect changes in Nature of her ways he knows far more than I
In his song he tells me that rain is not distant though there's not a rain cloud in the sky.

The Surest Things Can Change

I love you now
And I never want to change my mind
But love is strange
And the surest things can change
We carry love
More than we can stand to lose
But who can say
The things we feel this day
Are the things we feel in time
Oh how can I be sure
The sun will rise in days to come
And now that I am yours
The world is still for you and i
We carry dreams
Like children in the spring of life
But love is pain
And the purest things can change
Who can say
The things we feel this day
Are the things we feel in time
Oh how can I be sure
The sun will rise in days to come
And now that I am yours
The world is still in cloudless sky
But sad as rain
The surest things can change

Once again the spring has come

Once again the spring has come

and all around blooms,

our faces are wreathed with smiles.

The spring is working wonders

with the entire world

kindling the hearts by springtime thunders.

The spring has brought the warmth,

there is no more colds;

the snow has thawed in our souls;

the teardrops have melted down

and ran away in the Vernal waters,

starlings become the reporters of spring,

our souls bloom together with spring,

our hearts feel like to sing

and the dropping snow do dings.

No one feels perfectly at ease

with the tenderness of springtime breeze.

Our Mother nature promises new things;

new hopes, new dreams it brings.

Once again the spring has come,

flying in the sky like a swallow

inviting us to follow it's flight,

to see the land from the birds-eye view,

to show us how far the spring flew.

Once again the spring has come

to serve our hearts and nature,

to renew everything in our world,

to be in use for a new adventure.

Spring, spring, spring!

The kingdom of immortality!

It comes to show us world's beauty

and wisdom of humans mentality.

Misty Haze

Misty blue haze, rise above the oceans, green waves
Loves seeds, entangle seaweed, washed ashore
Salty waters flow, to carve its sandy caves

Water glistens, loves silhouettes, dare to dance
Cool green waters, foam to white, a gentle seduction
Nature's music fills the air, a pure sweet romance

Suns glow, bodies external heat, passion's exotic blaze
Oceans exquisite temptation, salted lust upon our lips
Love's eyes locked in pleasure, a gentle hypnotic gaze

Body's silken skin, internal heat, together life's entwined
Foamy Waters, heightened sensations, a tantalizing Pleasure
Loves unforgettable passion, scribes a ocean delicate line

soft wind, gentle whispers, kissed away our fear
Nature's lust, loves desire, birds sing, body exotic bliss
Nether can resist, let passion sounded, for all to hear

Vastly The Veldt, The Bush Stretches Out About Me (Idyll) (In Answer To Sir Philip Sidney)

I

Vastly the veldt, the bush stretches out about me
where nature is left to its own existence,
where all kinds of game roam free
and here is nothing to bother with an insistence

and the weary traveller on this earth
can find a new kind of longing, a new kind of hope,
like a kind of refreshing new birth
while thoughts go past the normal human scope

where a person wonders about the creator of things
while serenity is displayed where ever you look,
bees and birds continually sing about happy tidings
and nowhere one can get this experience in a book

that comes as some kind of divine blessing,
you have got to realise that there is more to life and living.

II

You have got to realise that there is more to life and living
that every word and deed leaves a mark, a own impact,
comes as benevolence or a kind of attack,
that there’s more to life that taking and giving

that nature’s innocence and violence draws and sting
and our actions on to it we can never take back,
even our wanderings on a natural track
leaves its mark on mere existing

that somehow nature needs to be left unspoilt
while we live in a kind of ruling arrogance,
this deadly paradise has its own kind of dazzling
while we effect change, like gods live rich and spoilt
while we hide beyond a cloak of ignorance,
seldom do we realise the beauty of the coming spring.

III

Seldom do we realise the beauty of the coming spring
and yet on a farm I have met a rural girl
who brings another feeling to existing, something touching,
while in the veldt sometimes dust clouds whirl

the strange solitariness feels as if it’s alive
and she has taken me to her hidden places,
the places dear to a sweetheart or wife
where violets grow wild, wildflowers have different faces

and the sun shines friendly in a blue hued sky,
where you can feel the great tranquillity,
see birds in their coloured swarms fly
and realise that here is some strange kind of unity

a kind of unspoilt idyllic life
that exists happily without any kind of strive.

An Open Secret!

Can you unfold rose bud as naturally as it is?
Sun flower blooms by the sight of Sun all days;
Lily flower blooms by the sight of Moon all days.
Is it possible to do so by me or your presence?

Nature does wonder we cannot even imagine!
Seeing Nature many things are created often;
But all delicate things can man do as Nature?

Natural expression has a value of its own sure;
Learning and doing things are different matter;
Same thing happens in the creativity of poetry.

All things happening in Nature are great wonders;
But who does care to note things of beauty in Nature?
Divine spirit present in all things of Nature is clear; but
Ignorance of man fails him to realize this open secret!

The Romance of Winter

It looks like snow, it must be snow, it really, really feels like snow,
It's on my lashes, and on my nose, it's frozen my poor little toe,
It came too soon, last too late, right now I cannot find my gate,
Inside now what a soppy state, this thawing out I really hate,
The fire it seems is getting low, it only adds more to my woe,
Outside it's cold with winters glow, as now the wind begins to blow.

On with boots, gloves, coat, and hat, out to the barn to feed the cat,
In this weather he won't get fat, but neither will he catch a rat.
The cows are full of milk today, the sheep have now begun to bay,
Chicks get corn, to cold to lay, the donkey's cross he wants his hay,
My husbands says it's no big deal, and checks the oven for his meal,
My coat and gloves I start to peel, where has he been thru this ordeal?

He loves the winter's charming feel, in an office warm... get real.
The snow for me has lost apeal, the charm has fled, from this deal.
Where is summer's warming sun, no more snow, I've had my fun,
Winter's romance has faded and run, now all I want is to be done.
But it looks like snow, it feels like snow,
Oh poo, it really is more snow...

Frosty Fun

Have you ever given thought

To all the things this winter brought

The longer nights and shorter days

The sleet, the snow, the holidays

When Earth moves further from the sun

The joy of winter has begun

Find someone special to embrace

And sit beneath the fireplace

Sit back and watch a winter storm

While keeping your hot cocoa warm

And when the birds begin to sing

It will be time to welcome spring

The Goddess Of Nature Will Be Living On

When all who live now to the reaper have gone
The Goddess of Nature will be living on
Like the Seasons the generations of people they come and they go
But Nature's own Goddess of death will never know,
When i am not here in some future Spring
The pee wee in the old Town Parkland will sing
And where wild things do live and where wildflowers abound
The Goddess of Nature she is to be found,
The stillness of death awaits you and i
But the Goddess of Nature she will never die
The beauty she creates all around us to see
And her birds chirp and whistle on shrub, bush and tree
And she has inspired writers to story and rhyme
The Goddess of Nature who does not age in time.
