Fatherland

I am no longer
from you,
because you have
discarded me.

When I was a boy
you forced me,
to go to war.

I knew blood, sweat and tears
and you killed
my very soul.

Fatherland, still I could not
cut myself from you
and did your bidding,
without calculating the cost.

Now that I am a man,
I am lost
and you do not
see me as your own.

Foreigners are closer
to your heart
than I will ever be
and my brothers,
call other countries
their own.

When will you treat me
with dignity and merit
and when,
will you set me free?

When will you
stop crucifying me
and let me have,
a life of my own?

Freedom Is Never Free

They tell me
'Freedom is never free.'
I know that-
More than most realize.
Freedom cost us more
Than we should have to give.
Freedom cost us blood.
It cost us the lives
Of our fathers,
Our sons,
Our brothers.
But while freedom is never free,
Remember-
It has been bought at great price,
And so is a thing of great value.
We must defend it,
From those who would take it away.
The defense of our freedoms
Will cost us-
More than we wish to pay.
But we must pay, to defend,
For if we try to make freedom free,
We forget-
True freedom is never free.

Today

Today
I'm in another place
My thoughts no longer
Can embrace
The memory of
Your smiling face

Today
I am a woman lost
And all my dreams
On storms are tossed
I could not pay
For what it cost

Today
I know I don't need you
To fill my life
I must be true
To what I know
And always knew

Today
My life belongs to me
Although alone
My soul is free
And I must feel
Content to be

Me.

Lonely Little Girl

Lonely little girl, sitting all alone,
Crying tears of sorrow because she's on her own,
Nobody believes her, the trust is now all gone,
Because she has no friends, or someone she could lean on,

Lonely little girl, she just needs a friend,
To tell her she'll be ok, to make her sorrow end,
To tell her its not her fault, and her broken heart will mend,
And there was nothing she could do, because this war she could not win,

Lonely little girl, forced into woman hood,
Promised he'd treat her right, promised he'd treat her good,
Then lift his hands and hit her, because he knew he could,
Wouldn't fight him back, although she knew she should,

Lonely little girl, cries about it every day,
The way he forced her down, and made him have his way,
The painful penetration, while on the ground she lay,
The whisper 'I love you', after my innonece he took away,

If He Only Knew

Day after day, he keeps on victimizing
In able to sustain his desperate longings.
Killing, stealing, abducting and swindling
These are some of his wrong doings.
As long as he can collect cash to satisfy his selfish yearnings,
He does not care whether there are people, who are grieving
Nor there are souls, who are weeping
To every life, he forced to stop living,
To every heart, he forced to stop beating.

People called him desperado,
His perfect name as an outlaw.
When he hears his gruesome name,
Though it is true
Maybe it pierces his heart too.
But perhaps, he don't realize
That no one to him will criticize,
If from the start, he lives his life free from any vice.

When will he stop killing
When will he stop stealing
When will he stop abducting
When will he stop in swindling
When will he wants to be free from the chain of gambling

Bandit, felon, fugitive and criminal
The titles he acquired for being brutal,
A notorious villain ruled by world's insanity
Everyone scared due to his fatality.
Nevertheless, If he only knew that beyond his cruelty,
There is good God, who loves him sincerly
There is great Father, who waits for his return patiently
There is Jesus, who really cares him untiringly
Maybe, he will change his life's view.

Yeah, if there is a sacred soul who will dare to let him know
That the merciful God loves really him so,
Surely, he will reborn and renew
Even he is a certified desperado.

Generation Lost

In life’s profusion
I stagger down lonely streets
looking for what I lost
when my life made its retreat.
Fame’s walls are hollow
empty footsteps echo there
of those who tried
and missed out on life’s fanfare.
Like me, they walk in desolation
no umbrella to cover their soul
from the dark clouds of misery
that empties no pity on anyone
whom it rains upon.
Alleyways of lonely drinkers
and lost dreams
whose lives they no longer own.
Lost souls in life’s misery
we see them everywhere
products of a discarded generation
for whom no one cares.
They huddle in cardboard towers
that they call home.
This generation lost
from life’s society.

(Rejection Poem) Angel Of Death

The blood is rushing through my veins.
Breaking free of the shackles and chains.
Being pulled away.
I want to stay but I must go.
Oh hell, no.
It wont happen.
I killed all the passion.
Its over.
Done, sorry but this game can never be won.

The angel of death has come.
Reaping those lost souls.
I got to just walk away.
Its no longer my mistake.
I must take control.
Pulling the reins trying to drive me insane.
Patience, is no longer in my best interest.
Just leave me alone.
Let me be calm.
Probably should get stoned.
A unending high in this life.
A dream being destroyed.
But I must let go.

For the angel of death has come.
Reaping those lost souls.
I must take control.
A choice has been made.
As the day fades.
Win or lose it no longer matter anyways.
I'm not playing.
I'm not staying.

So let the angel of death come.
Reaping those lost souls.
I must take control.
I was the fool.
I was the fool.
A life so cruel.
I'll watch from afar.
Like a distant star.
You can no longer reach me.
You can no longer b*tch to me.
The line has been written in the sand.
Everyone one on that side is damned.

So let the angel of death come.
Reaping the lost souls
oh reaping the lost souls.
I must take control.
By saying no,
i will not follow a heart so hollow.
I'm not blinded by the sickness.
No oh no.

So let the angel of death come.
Just let her come.

Our Loss

God walks the Earth no more
And
We, are left alone.
To fight our battles
Climb our hills
To watch our personal dawns.
We feel no more
Our passions dead.
We have gone
Where only mortals tread.
We have no hearts
Our loves are lost
Our innocence
The greatest cost.
What remains
But, empty skeletons
Godless creatures, gutless men.
We have no hearts
Nothing beats in our chest.
Savages all, yet worse our cost
We've lost our dreams
And
Nothings left.
Barren lands
Brown bittered grass.
We've killed our gods.
We've killed ourselves.
What remains
But mortal shells.
The long night's here
It brings no stars
No hopes, No dreams
Just painful scars.
We've killed ourselves.
Innocence lost.
Dreams that once were
Have turned to dust.
All that's left
Has begun to rust.
We've stayed too long
And, killed too much.
Savages, with thirsts for blood.
We've killed ourselves
Our innocence lost.
Hope is gone

Our Mistake

Time keeps passing by
History made in your eyes
You refuse to believe, why?
Yet you listen to all his lies

Soon you will fall
Your life will be torn
Your wings ripped, can no longer stand tall
Your distress is reborn

But still you refuse
To see the truth
This light you will lose
In ignorance and youth

You hide in your cage
From reality you flee
Why don’t you act your age
Open your eyes and you will see

This war has begun
Will you help us win
Or will you flee, hide, run?
When will you save your true kin

Left the darkness far behind
Step into the painfully sweet light
You, his lies no longer bind
For this war you will fight

Now, go, take back your heart
Show us the form you call true
His power you rip apart
Show him why he should have flew

But you go too far, driven forward
Madness engulfs your fragile mind
You harm him and all his kind

Lost all of your light
With your blood covered fang
Can tell no wrong from right
Till that sweet voice sang

Look around see the pain
The blood that fears your very name
Stop this madness in the rain
End your foolish killing game

Gently guided, now sane
Tears flow, see her cry
What do you gain?
Look what’ caused by that lie

But you aren’t all to blame
We helped, forced her to kill
So that we could call it fame
We caged her broken will

Now she lays broken
In the blood we spilt
Watch her, she has awoken
Now she helps correct this world so newly built

Two Countries

Two countries, both wanting peace.
From a war, that raged for years.
Both countries wanting to be right.
Both countries they live in fear.

One country puts their weapons down,
Then the other it invades.
The surrendered country defends itself,
The hope for peace it fades.

Both countries, still, they want a truce,
Yet the fight, it rages on.
Neither willing to call it quits.
Until all hope is gone.

One day they see a little child,
True victim of the war.
His bruised and battered little body,
Lay wounded on the floor.

Two countries fought for many years.
Regardless the cost.
What it was, they hoped to find.
The innocent had lost.

You got the Tiger by the Tail

On Christmas, Feliz Navidad,
a cat named Tatiana was doing the usual big cats do,
Hanging out on chilly day,
after all she was a Siberian tiger,
minding her own business,
What happened later is terrible but true
She was startled to see a human leg over the fence.

The authorities starting piecing the actions that were brought forth,
Tatiana was killed, after attacking two men after she had killed another one.
Tatiana, some speculate, was taunted by the person that had his or her leg on the fence,
There were bloody footprints and shoe left by someone.

Paul Dhaliwal, as drunk and taunted Tatiana,
Tatiana attacked and paid with her life,
Kulber, Paul’s brother, was also injured but not so lucky was Carlos Sousa, Jr.
His demise was unforseen,
Paul did not see the New Year, -----He was dead at the scene.

The investigations went on trying to blame the zoo,
For the fencing on the cats exhibit was a few,
Feet short,
After all the cats didn’t escape for decades who knew?
Calls to 911 the brothers cry grim(m) ly,
The response was staggered from the inception of the call,
In the end Tatiana would pay for being a tiger,
she was shot.
Tatiana was not able to be free,
She was not able to be a predator,
A Siberian tiger is on the endangered species list,
But I say Tatiana will be surely missed,
For in the end, the three should be a lesson for all those that hear,
So there will not have to be another taunting, another mauling, --another killing,
Of a tiger.

(1-18-2008)

The brothers that survived are attempting to get rich,
By their physical and emotional damaged they have incurred,
There are suing city for negligence and defamation, ain’t life a bee-atch,
For the city sake, the brothers were drunk and high on Marijuana,
The blood test inferred,
And they taunted Tatiana.
The city should counter sue for the loss of a threatened species Siberian Tiger,
I will soon wait for the report,
That this case has no merit and will be tossed out of court.

100 Tears Away

Go ahead and cry now
Just give in to the madness
The only way to feel your joy
Is to first feel the sadness
Go ahead and sail now
Just give in to the ocean
The only way to tame your fear
Is to feel her rocky motion
Youre a long way from somewhere you call home yeah
Theres a place in your heart youre not alone
All of the happiness you seek
All of the joy for which you pray
Is closer than you think
Its just 100 tears away
Go ahead and listen
Just give into the voices
You think youre backed into a corner
But youve got so many choices
Youre a long way from somewhere you call safe
Peace of mind comes from just one place
All of the happiness you seek
All of the joy for which you pray
Is closer than you think
Its just 100 tears away
Youre a long way from somewhere you call home
Theres a place in your heart youre not alone
All of the happiness you seek
All of the joy for which you pray
Is closer than you think
Its just 100 tears away
Whatever it is thatll make you feel good
You can have if you want
If you knew that you could
Its closer than you think
Its just 100 tears away

Each A Teacher

From Adam to the latest born upon this sinful Earth,
Behold each soul, bereft, forlorn, of such diminished worth...
For Adam, with his woman Eve, defied the Lord of all
And with the Devil to deceive, God's angels saw them fall...

No longer wise in their own eyes, both man and woman knew,
Their nakedness to realise and with it, guilt that grew...
No longer quite as innocent, no longer fancy free,
They wondered what their Father meant, was death a certainty! ?

When God returned, the failures fled! Excuses left their lips!
A bloody sacrifice lay dead and from it blood still drips...
Life for a life, soul for a soul... Both man and woman groaned,
As Father maintained self-control the moment blood atoned...

Each a teacher, the Christians preach, salvation to impart,
Damnation's door no more to reach, if Heaven's in your heart...
While demons teach the lost to stray with every dying hour,
Hell waits lost souls on Judgment Day, for them, no saving power!

While you have breath, turn to the Lord, the Teacher who knows best,
The Teacher with His blood outpoured... so sinners could be blessed!
The Teacher who will come again, Jerusalem take note!
Believe Christ now, don't wait till then... Delay's no antidote...

From ages long since past and done, to ages here and now,
The Father has declared His Son, as with a solemn vow...
God promises a pardon to believers far and wide,
Eternal life for me and you in Christ once crucified...

26 of June

26 of June came again
The old month of June
Old but always young
In the calendar of glory
The gala caliber
counted high
'cause the freedom course
call, culminate
and came to the final call
cheerful calls
calls of the courage men
who retained hopes calls
to, heart
and healing the wounds
of the soul
26 of june came again
the old month of june
old but always charm
when we differentaite
the light
the light of the freedom
the lost and cost althou
it; very high
the dignity through the lost
we, reign
as a nation
we, regain
to the heart again

Blood Brothers

And if you're taking a walk through
the garden of life
What do you think you'd expect you
would see?
Just like a mirror reflecting the
moves of your life
And in the river reflections of me

Just for a second a glimpse of my
father I see
And in a movement he beckons to me
And in a moment the memories are
that remain
And all the wounds are reopening again

We're blood brothers
We're blood brothers
We're blood brothers
We're blood brothers

And as you look all around at the
world in dismay
What do you see

Drug Induced Blood, Sweat And Tears

Blood
I bled for you
lies I said for you
Truth I force fed to you
Red leaves stains

Language I took from you
Money I shock from you
white dust had hold of you
Little remains

Sweat
I'm ringing wet
Things that you forget
Now you have regrets
White ringed tides

Kind I cannot be
Cruel will set you free
Son, please stop and see
My love abides

Tears
That I have wept
Nights I haven't slept
Mornings when you crept
Home again

I've done all I can
You are your own man
Need me, here I am
Heal your pain

Tears, sweet, blood will pour
I will mop the floor
You're worth fighting for
Please come back

Be the son I knew
Back with worries few
Where only hope once grew
Before the 'Crack'

Beyond the grief.

It seems as if we are stalled by our grief,
unable to move away from it – and I wonder
if we will ever get over the loss of you. In time
they say we will, that one day we will finally be free
of the sadness that burdens our hearts, and we will dance
in our remembrance, and there will be no more tears.

But if that's true, I must admit I will miss the tears
when there is an eventual easing of the grief.
I am not as eager to begin the dance
of life without you, for the world has lost its wonder
for me, some of its shine - and being free
seems awfully relative - I suppose just like time.

I can still so clearly recall the last time
we were all together - the tears
we shared, even laughter, when you were set free
of this earthly pain - and even in our grief,
we were filled with such wonder
as we witnessed the end of life's dance.

When I was a little boy you used to let me dance
on the top of your shoes, moving in time
to the music on the radio. Is it any wonder
that music, to this day, brings tears
of joy, mingled with the ever-present grief,
which still has not set me completely free.

I now realize there is a cost to love; it's not free -
for when you love, you buy a ticket to the dance
of life - which comes with joy and pain, celebration and grief.
And if you have lived a long enough time,
as I have, even when the loss brings never ending tears,
with a broken heart, it's worth all of the pain, and it's no wonder

people love so fiercely - so much so that they cease to wonder
about the why, when or where - and now I realize that I am free
to love, and to lose, which will bring with it many tears.
But each tear is worth it - and seems to make the dance
more authentic. In the end, I will measure my time
by how much of it was filled with love, and with grief.

No longer will I wonder whether or not I should dance,
I will just be free, stepping in and out of time,
wearing my tears like a badge of honor as I move beyond the grief.

On Their Feet

My feet walk on soil where my ancestors blood, sweat and tears where shed.

Blood from the lashes on their backs that was put there by a cold wet whip all because they fought to be free.

Sweat that dripped from their brows from the hard work they did to help build this country we call America.

Tears that was cried so many nights they could fill a river with their sorrow.

But even after all that they did not crawl upon their knees or slide upon their bellies.

Their faith gave them hope for a brighter future for all those who would come after them. People such as Rosa Parks, Dr. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and even me, and because of this faith no matter what they always stood upon their feet.

Killing Field

I will fly
Maybe fall
But it won’t stop me to try

I will cry
And it’ll dry
But it won’t stop me to hope

Do you not love
Because it hurts
And avoid life
Because regret

My senses still clear
My heart still beats
I won’t give up
I won’t be like that

I will run
Even crawl
But it won’t stop me to move

I will lie
I will die
But it won’t stop me to be

Do you not dream
Because it’s fake
And cursing faith
Cause it’s mistake

My mind could think
My soul could feel
I will stay strong
I’ll see tomorrow

I will take
Or just hate
But it won’t stop me to find

I will reach
Sometimes lost
But it won’t stop my desire

Do you not fight
Because it’s hard
And hide in night
Because of fright

Just push my luck
Just treat me bad
I will survive
I won’t end this way

No longer

I am alone and afraid,
pushing others away,
I am lost and trapped,
stuck within myself,
So much pain,
My heart has gone numb,
So many tears,
My eyes have gone dry,
I am alone,

But that's not where I want to be,
I am afraid,
But there's no reason to be,
I am lost,
But I see a trail,
I am trapped,
but there is a key,
So someone please free me,
I am not alone,
I am not afraid,
I have been found,
I am now free,
no longer alone,
no longer afraid,
no longer.
