Too often in my dreams you have dwelled,
but tonight, in the bright silver moonlight
from me I want you to be expelled,
although I do miss you, I pray tonight
while the red sun is dying in the west
that peace and tranquillity will be yours,
in all love I am asking that you rest
in this world, in all of the darkest hours
and when our God a His time comes again
that He will raise you in righteousness,
the clouds are milling and I can smell rain
but there is just silence and darkness
while the hours pass and tiredness finds me,
in sleep there is some kind of sanctuary.

The best laid plans.
No moon tonight that we can see.
The dark storm clouds are gathering
The thunder grumbles distantly.
Ominous and threatening.
I’m far from home no shelter near
When suddenly the sky turns bright
As blue white streaks of lightning sear
Across the darkness of the night.
The lightning tears the clouds apart.
Swiftly and efficiently
And this allows the rain to start.
Pouring down torrentially.
My windscreen wipers cannot cope.
I cannot see the road ahead.
my journeys end a forlorn hope.
Tonight I shall not see my bed.
The storm still rages to and fro.
I have no choice but wait it out.
When it blows over I shall go
As it must I do not doubt.
I watch and wait impatiently.
Just static on the radio.
Caused by the lightning probably.
I shall be glad when I can go.
At last the sky begins to clear.
It seems the storm has run its course
The clouds pass on and stars appear.
I bowed to its superior force.
I can continue on my way
But still I must drive carefully.
As others pass in clouds of spray

Grimacing Rain
It was raining and raining for hours nonstop
nobody knows when to go back,
As if it was grimacing in silence like dark night
It may take time to talk again, for a while.
Night may break in to day, hours into minutes
but those silence may not shredded to rain of tears
And that hours of rain was the tears of silence
that rippled into voice of grimacing - protracted.
If I asked to reason out curves of silence
It may cajole to suggest inkling of love provoking-
For the tears fallen in rain, of thosa unbeaten songs
