As if evil was creeping out
Early one morning
Heinrich, the six-year-old boy
gave a big scream
and came running out
op the bathroom.
There’s something in the loo
he said sacred
as if evil
was creeping out
of the sewerage system.
I went a to have a look
and behold a big healthy crab
were pinching with its claws
glaring with little eyes
into mine.

When happiness pounces upon me
When happiness pounces upon me
hitting her nails into me
as if she can only stay
for a little while
and when her passion is gone
almost immediately she leaves
but misfortune stays with me
and I wrestle while she wants to suffocate me
to come out of her pinching claws
and wonder why this fat old lady
constantly is busy with me
as if she wants to sit me flat into the earth.

Early In The Morning
Early in the morning and I cant get right
Had a little date with my baby last night
Now its early in the morning (early in the morning)
Well its early in the morning (early in the morning)
Now its early in the morning
And I aint got nothing but the blues
Went to all the places where we used to go
Went to your house but you dont live there no more
Now its early in the morning (early in the morning)
Well its early in the morning (early in the morning)
Early in the morning
And I aint got nothing but the blues
Went to your friends house but she was out
Knock on your fathers door and he began to shout get out there boy
Early in the morning (early in the morning)
Early in the morning (early in the morning)
Early in the morning
And I aint got nothing but the blues
Went to doogie chain to get something to eat
Waiter looked at me and said you sure look beat
Now its early in the morning (early in the morning)
Early in the morning (early in the morning)
Well its early in the morning
And I aint got nothing but the blues
Well its early in the morning
And I aint got nothing but the blues
Well its early in the morning
And I aint got nothing but the blues

I’m just running
So cool so provoking wind blowing up my face
As if trying to wake me up
But I’m just running along with the train
Blinking and glaring outside not to find anyone
Just glaring
Different stations are passing
Different sellers selling their merchandise
Caring nothing; just glaring
But still trying to find someone
No not but yes, maybe
In return getting nothing but a pinch of delight
Accumulating it just running
So fast so slow sometimes
Breathtaking landscapes, rivers, mountains
Just wonderful
Falling down sun giving me nothing
But a note of unknown happiness
Just gulping it running
Then came the stars twinkling
Maybe trying to show a drama
Enjoying it, each and every bit of it
I’m just running
Just running along with the train

The Grinning Crab
Come with me, said the fish to the crab
and I will show you a cave where beautiful coral live.
When do we leave, said the crab to the fish
and tell me what I should bring.
Just bring a sense of adventure, said the fish to the crab, and some sun tan oil
You forget, said the crab to the fish, my shell is thick and impenetrable by rays of any kind.
What about the metal-tipped arrows, asked the fish of the crab, from a cheeky cherub?
Oh they don’t stand a chance, said the crab with a grin.
The fish, having eyes that could not blink, felt the molten tears sting his star-crossed eyes.

A New Start
The water licked down my back
as it gave birth to the purity
of a new year it aided the love
and tears the pain and fears
that i over came
it 3am in the morning
and a new year dawn on me
a new day lit up under
the moon lit horizon
eyes watered up as i try
to write.
The sky gave up
the playground and
all was needed
was the players
standing tall with
my back to last year
i walked out of
the dark and into
the light of a new era
shadows cast over my world
keeps the adrenaline in me running
as my momentum begins to flow
goals to be achieved as the slate
is wiped clean as
i start over again

There is nothing fantastic or ultradimansional about crab grass... unless you are an sf writer, in which case pretty soon you are viewing crab grass with suspicion. What are it's real motives And who sent it here in the first place It only looks like crab grass. That's what they want us to think it is. One day the crab grass suit will fall off and their true identity will be revealed. By then the Pentagon will be full of crab grass and it'll be too late. The crab grass, or what we took to be crab grass, will dictate terms.

Night Mirror
I'm sitting in an empty field
can't remember how I got here
stunned, I feel a bitter chill
Apprehension mixed with raw fear
I feel an evil presence near
find myself frozen in terror
Suddenly the enemy appears
find myself looking in a mirror
I scream
I wake up from this odd dream
feelings of trepidation on me
get up from the bed yawning stretch
go to the john to take a piss
take a glimpse in the mirror
laughing at these feelings of terror
finish my business and smile
the image smiles back, then laughs
I retreat fast
as the image in the looking glass
attempts to grab me
I scream
shake my head as I wake from this dream
find myself in my parents house alone
I'm 8 years old
something else is here with me
not somebody but something evil here
my fear causes my bladder to leak
shaking, why did they go and leave?
forsaking me to this evil thing
slowly creeping closer to me
I try to close my eyes but still see
misty at first now clearing
the vision near me the mirror me
the evil nearing me ready to devour me
closer now almost overpowering me
as I cower in my bed eyes closed tightly
I awake and find it was just another night thing
a dream
within a dream within a dream
The oddest thing
am I awake? I get up out of bed
the mirror image dances in my head
like an evil twin
taunting me, tempting me to look again
I laugh, a nervous laugh, take nervous steps
toward the bathroom, open the door
turn the light on... turn around and
suddenly I understand the dream
I scream
an endless nightmare of my own doing
i stare in abject fear at the ruin
the body lying there, my body dead
eyes staring at the mirror... in facination
I look and see me look in accusation
looking back at me as if to say
look what you did, you ended it too soon
i hang my head I feel just like a fool
I feel the icy breath and look back up
the mirror image bearing down on me
Another dream? Can't bare it anymore
I feel the hand of evil fill my soul
the evil in the mirror takes a hold
I scream
The dream begins again
I'm sitting in an empty field
can't remember how I got here
stunned, I feel a bitter chill
Apprehension mixed with raw fear...

Scary Monsters
She had an horror of rooms she was tired you cant hide beat
When I looked in her eyes they were blue but nobody home
Well she couldve been a killer if she didnt walk the way she do, and she do
She opened strange doors that wed never close again
She began to wail jealousies scream
Waiting at the lights know what I mean
Scary monsters, super creeps
Keep me running, running scared
Scary monsters, super creeps
Keep me running, running scared
She asked me to stay and I stole her room
She asked for my love and I gave her a dangerous mind
Now shes stupid in the street and she cant socialise
Well I love the little girl and Ill love her till the day she dies
She wails
Jimmys guitar sound jealousies scream
Waiting at the lights know what I mean
Scary monsters, super creeps
Keep me running, running scared
Scary monsters, super creeps
Keep me running, running scared
Scary monsters, super creeps
Keep me running, running scared
Scary monsters, and super creeps
Keep me running, running scared

My Therapist's a Lady
It's all so simple now,
yet it took 30 years
to begin to understand.
It's as though someone
stole the primer I had
and gave me another
in my own language.
It's because you are
who you are
that I've begun
to become who I am.
That sounds too dramatic.
All you did, really, was scream
when you opened the bathroom door,
saw me wrapped in a towel,
standing at attention on a mat,
waiting in my thirtieth year
for the steam to clear
from the cabinet mirror,
waiting for someone
to shout, 'At ease! '

As Old As
It’s early January
Early morning
My feet are cold on the bathroom tile
And that’s not my face
Staring at me from the mirror
An older face than the one I went to bed with
Puffy skin wrinkles I don’t remember that
One gray hair does not belong to me
I am not this old man
The song of youth still
Plays in my skull my heart my
Bones ache
Eyes blur
After long day working
Hard to keep them open and
I sometimes nod off
To the late news or Letterman just like
My dad did when I was a boy
And I would look at him and think
He’s old and I
Will never be
Am not as old
As that face staring
From the mirror on this
Cold January Morning

Early Morning
(pal waaktaar/ mags)
Early morning
Eight oclock precise
I see the lonely august sun arise
Say you know
You will
Move me like you do
Out on the fields...
Im waiting the whole night through
Early morning, early morning, yeah
Ran the whole way
Down to the tracks
Through the doorway, then a last look back
Say you know
You will
Save me like you do
Out on the fields...
Ive waited the whole night through
Early morning, early morning, yeah
I climbed all the stairways
To find the rooftop clear
Got the shotgun lying with me here
Say you know
You will
Move me like you do
Out on the fields...
You know how it feels, yeah
Early morning, early morning, yeah
Early morning
Eight oclock precise

See Me In Your Eyes
I've been walkin' all night, thinkin' of you
The other lovers and all we've been through
We're just too much alike, but we're two worlds apart
I try to hide it but you still got my heart
And I can't dream without you, baby can we give it just one more try
Chorus:
I wanna see me in your eyes tonight
I wanna talk it over and hear you tell me it's alright
Shine reflections through the early morning light
Girl, I wanna see me in your eyes tonight
Well I saw you today with some other man
You're still pretending, it's all I can stand
Pictures of you with somebody else
It keeps me wonderin' when I'm by myself
And I can't dream without you, baby can we give it just one more try,
ohh
(chorus)
(Solo)
It's not like it's the first time, it might not be the last
You told me once that it's all over, still I keep on running back
(Solo)
It's not like it's the first time, it might not be the last
You told me once that it's all over, still I keep on running back
I wanna see me in your eyes tonight
I wanna talk it over and hear you tell me it's alright
Shine reflections through the early morning light, ohh
I wanna see me in your eyes tonight
I wanna hold you closer and tell you everything's alright
Shine reflections through the early morning light
Girl, I wanna see me in your eyes tonight, in your eyes tonight, whoa

Time is Running Out
Pale as a sheet of ice upon the wooded trail
Early in the morning on a winter’s day at sunrise
You are lying lifeless, your eyes closed to the world around you;
If you were to come to life you would be
Looking into my eyes wide open,
My mind being your tragic literature-
The sun rests low behind the mountains,
The grass is greener than a polished emerald
Reflecting light so frighteningly bright that
It has become a mirror in which I can see my own eyes
Stunningly terrified echoed in the dewdrops-
Time is running out for me-
I believe that the end is near-
Time is running out as my tears hit the ground
In staccato rhythm as I am trying to figure
Why life has been a catastrophic musical - once hope gave me reason to persevere-
The imaginary clock only I can see tells me it is early morning and
All I can see is bleeding flesh through a multitude of tears-
My time is running out and the cold wind blows
The leaves upon the trees surrounding-
God’s eyes are upon me and all I can do is ask
Will I go to heaven when my heart
Makes its final beat and will my shadow remain by my side?
Hell is here on earth and I have lived a life of persecution,
Terror and dismay as I am constantly standing upon a cliff
On the brink of disaster- I am none but a lost soul and I still see my reflection
Through my tears as I cry out in fear- if I were a bird I would
Spread my wings and fly away from this planet earth to
A safer haven if one exists- I realize now that the lifeless figure before me is
None but an image of the angry, suspicious person I truly am-
The sun shows its face above the mountaintops as the trees shiver in the wind-
Time is running out and I am at death’s door-
Time is running out for me and I have been robbed of my spirit-
Hope has been snuffed out and time is running out-
As I listen to the voices only I can hear and as I look into the eyes of a ghost-
I see the hands upon that phantasmal clock spinning out of control-
Time is running out today but I can still see the sun-
Time is running out, and the sun will fall behind the mountains when dusk sets in
Leaving me in the darkness- time shall run out but tomorrow-well-
Tomorrow is another day…

The Dead Girl
At first I didn’t see her, .
There, half hidden in the leaves.
In the early morning darkness
Nothings ever what it seems.
The leaves were wet and sticky
but not with morning dew.
The smell of blood assaulted me
Now what was I to do?
She must have been a jogger
on an early morning run.
-Was she the victim of a killer
or dead from a “Hit and run”?
Was someone, somewhere worried?
That she wasn’t back on time
I know that I would go insane
Were she a child of mine.
I checked around to see if
There were clues upon the ground..
Just then a squad car passed by-
Frantically, I waved them down.
I couldn’t help the Cops much
-I had driven my wife to the train..
I’d dropped off my car for service
My mechanic will say the same.
I gave the cops my name and number
An ambulance was called.
They were told they need not hurry
-Just a removal to the morgue.

Familiars
In the darkness
They send chills down my spine
The bare descending moon
Has burst into life
Hunting and suffering with prisoned eyes
Familiars play in moonlit skies
Beautiful Wings the servants possess
With claws so sharp they can only be from the depths
Beautiful Wings the servants possess
With claws so sharp they can only be from the
This ordinary world ain't set in stone as I thought It'd be
Just like haunted prey
Familiars are hunting me
Familiars
The nerves from the creatures
That you receive
Black magic is here
Bow down to it's knees
No emotion, Familiars can grasp
The adrenaline rush takes over so fast
Beautiful Wings the servants possess
With claws so sharp they can only be from the depths
Beautiful Wings the servants possess
With claws so sharp they can only be from the
This ordinary world ain't set in stone as I thought It'd be
Just like haunted prey
Familiars are hunting me
Familiars
These blue hearts
They will scream
They will scream
You feel them screaming, mourning in the shadows
They will scream...

I Can See
I can see you through the fog,
Running for dear life.
I come up beside you and I can see the terror in your eyes.
And Yet I go behind you to see who you are running from.
And as I walk through our memories together and as I get closer to what your running from I get scared.
When I see what your running from I cry, because it is me and the person you love.
All I want to do is scream, but I can't
I can't even talk.
I can barely breath.
It was an accident.
He kissed me.
A second latter I pushed him away and slapped him.
But you didn't see that you just ran.
Please don't ignore me you are the only friend I have.

Behold
Like morning's first light,
like the stars in the night
my love is a sight
to behold.
Like the heat of the sun,
like the rivers that run
My love is the one
I behold.
Like a delicate wine,
like crystal so fine
I'm glad you are mine
to behold.
Like your smile of delight,
like you looked in bridal white
you still are my sight
to behold.

Early Christmas Morning
Listen to the children sing
Watch them dancing all around the Christmas tree
Waiting for the opening
Early Christmas morning
All around the world is sleeping
Little children there's no peeping
Wait and see what Santa's bringing
Early Christmas morning
Early Christmas morning
Icicles and breakfast cakes
Friends and family we will celebrate
Sounds that joy and laughter make
Early Christmas morning
All around and far off places
Angels waken smiling faces
Wrapping us with love and graces
Early Christmas morning
Early Christmas morning
