When Love Is Not Enough
When in this land you have given your all,
And not think twice when someone needs forgiven,
Love can cover the hurt every time you fall,
But bruises will be hidden beneath the vale of sin.
Even in death love may have its share of grief,
But that will never be enough to comfort the bereaved,
Roaming within the fate of solitude and disbelief,
The search may go on until the heart is relieved.
If love would have been enough to dispel all fear,
You would not be left alone with emotions and regret,
The two protagonists; they find a path more unclear,
And eyes can not see paradise where there is neglect.
The world we knew was once full and glowing,
But when dreams fled into streams of darker abyss,
Though time may conquer that delta force from within,
Love will never be enough without true happiness.
Paradise was such a beautiful place in our mind,
Exist only when we find time to go there in spirit,
On a trip; in this realm of splendid sublime,
Bliss is given to only those digging deep to find it.
When love is not enough, there is a place to escape,
Found in the wind that floats through the passing air,
Can we dare to go and be where those memories fade?
And fond embrace becomes the only treasure.

Crumbling Paradise
Our paradise is a beautiful place in mind,
Exist only when we go there in spirit,
On a trip; in this realm of splendid sublime,
Only those so deep in love can get to it.
A precious place of graceful escapades,
Found in the wind that floats through the air,
Dare to be where our daily memory fades,
And fond embrace becomes the treasure.
We seek more from this impure life,
And would endure every pain and torment,
But fiery trials esteem the crumbling grief,
These are the broken promise presently sent.
Burning desire more consuming than fire,
Within me lift the flames to a new heaven,
Overwhelm to speak of any intruder,
Pushing me out and trying to break in.
We fall down but love made us get up again,
With broken dreams of crumbling paradise,
There is no tears heaven; sorrow or pain,
We make our dreams here living in disguise.
No sweet exhale can make this paradise crumble,
Only truth we share divides the beat in our heart,
To make us stop and stare and quietly stumble,
Until we find the truest path where eternity start.

We Could Be Giants
Build your life's foundations upon decent morals,
For these foundations offer infinate strength,
It has become harder to find any part of paradise,
At one time paradise could be found at every step,
We were infants in a giant expanse of land and sea,
The land was rich and the people blessed,
This picture could be seen throughout paradise,
I say the time of man's destruction needs to end,
Let us rebuild paradise and summon forth beauty,
Learn again to embrace the magic of all life,
Our time has come to be giants in a giant land,
For faces to glow with the possiblities of life,
Empower yourself with the spirit of existance,
And love shall light a path to paradise renewed...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Future Love Paradise
But if only you could see them
You would know from their faces
There were kings and queens
Followed by princes and princesses
There were future power people
From the loved to the loveless
Shining a light 'cause they wanted it seen
Well there were cries of why
Followed by cries of why not
Can I
Reach out for you if that feels good to me
And the riders will not stop us
'Cause the only love they'll find is paradise
No the riders will not stop us
'Cause the only love they'll find is paradise
Paradise yeah
Don't you know that racism in among future kings
Can only lead to no good
to no good
Besides your sons and daughters
already know how that feels
One day (One day)
All the queens will gather round
Spreading love and unity so it can be found
Well then all the riders say it's all to do with drugs
Well inject me
With your love
Inject me with your love alright
And the riders will not stop us
'Cause the only drug they'll find is paradise
Future love paradise
No the riders will not stop us
'Cause the only love they'll find is paradise
Future love paradise
No the riders will not stop us
paradise
The only love they'll find is paradise
Paradise yea
Love paradise
One in and out is gonna make you feel good
paradise
Coming at you like a hurricane would
paradise
Stay close to me I'll always be by your side
Save paradise
Save it baby you know that it's all right
You remind me of a girl I knew paradise
So beautiful once inside you
paradise
You make me feel like I need your love love love
Want to fill me with your love
Fix me with your love all right
And the riders will not stop us
'Cause the only love they'll find is paradise
is paradise
Future love paradise
No the riders will not stop us
'Cause the only drug they'll find is paradise
Oh we'll belivin' in a paradise
The riders will not stop us
'cause the only love they'll find is paradise
Future love paradise
They will never make you feel surely
Like you've felt never felt before I'll
Give myself
To you
And if you change your mind
I'll do anything
Just to make the world peaceful
Just to make life wonderful
I will drown all your sorrows
In a future love paradise
Future love paradise
Future love paradise
They will never make you feel surely
Like you've never felt before
I'll
give myself

Youre So Beautiful
This song appears on three albums, and was first released on the john denver album, and has also been released on the reflections and the country roads collection albums.
Born on a quiet morning
Just a dream in someones eyes
A dream thats like a promise meant to be
Giving rise to speculation
On a place called paradise
If Ive ever been there
Its when you were with me
Youre so beautiful
I cant believe your eyes
Each time I see you again
Youre so beautiful
That Im in paradise
Each time I see you again
I remember some hidden valley
Where the skies are never still
And alpine meadows burn in the evening light
I remember the path to glory
And the way around the hill
I remember true loves eyes
Shining in the night
Youre so beautiful
I cant believe your eyes
Each time I see you again
Youre so beautiful
That Im in paradise
Each time I see you again
And if paradise is everything you see
Then the place you must be coming from
Is ecstasy
Youre so beautiful
I cant believe your eyes
Each time I see you again
Youre so beautiful
That Im in paradise
Each time I see you again
Just want to see you again
I want to be with you again
I just need to love you again
Just wanna touch you again
I just need to love you again
I want to be with you again

True Love Takes Time
This song was first released on the one world album. it is the only album it has been released on.
As I travel down the road and search the empty sky
Waiting for the moment when my eyes will see
Many are the memories the mysteries of time
How they dance around and whisper endlessly
Yes Ive travelled down this road before
Where so many men have come and gone
But you know it takes time
(true love takes time)
You know that true love takes time
(true love takes time)
And its so very hard to find
(true love takes time)
You know that love takes time
It seemed impossible that I could care again
So it seemed I had forgotten how to give
What is this miracle that brings me back my dreams
All at once I can remember how to live
Yes Ive travelled down this road before
Where so many men have come and gone
But you know it takes time
(true love takes time)
You know that true love takes time
(true love takes time)
And its so very hard to find
(true love takes time)
You know that true love takes time
I have been too much alone for oh so many years
Looking for someone to sing with me
Sweet harmony
My heart is open now and tender to the touch
But there is love enough to heal me in your hands
Ill give you all my nights
All my sun and rainy days
Ill give you all the time it takes to understand
Weve travelled down this road before
Where so many fools have come and gone
But you know it takes time
(true love takes time)
You know that true love takes time
(true love takes time)
And its so very hard to find
(true love takes time)
You know that true love takes time
(true love takes time)
(true love takes time)
(true love takes time)

Paradise
Let me tell you this
Your love I can't resist
I just start to fantasize
Every time I look into your eyes
I want to laugh and talk
And say the words you long to hear
I want to fill you up with so much love
The real world will just disappear
Chorus: let me take you to a place I call paradise
Hold you in my arms every day and night
Tell you all the things that I really feel
Show you that my love is for real
Let me take you to paradise
Take you to paradise
Let me be your guide
On a magic carpet ride
To a place where love is pure
And our passions can endure
I want you to close your eyes and realize
A world for two
I want you to hear me whisper in your ear
I want to make love to you
Let me take you to a place I call paradise
Hold you in my arms every day and night
Tell you all the things that I really feel
Show you that my love is for real
Let me take you to paradise
Take you to paradise
Do you want to go?
Don't? you want to know?
About a real love
Give me just some time
You'll like what you find
I know
It's so plain to me
We were meant to be
I want to show you baby
We'll unlock all of life's Mysteries
And realize how great our love can really be
Let me take you to paradise

Take Time
You can have it if you really want
You can grasp it if you have the thought
Feel your power that is deep within
Are you ready ?
On your mark begin
We should take time out to really love
We should find out who we really are
We should take time out to really love
Do you feel your life's a big mistake ?
Don't you hate the way it's all so fake ?
All I wanna do is just be real
And get off of the spinning wheel
All they sell us is a pack of lies
And we're buying one in every size
Can't you see it in the children's eyes ?
It's about to get wild
We should take time out to really love
We should find out who we really are
We should take time out to really love
Ha yeah
We should take time out to really love
We should find out who we really are
We should take time out to really love
We should take time out to really love
We should find out who we really are
You can have it any way you want it
You can have it any way you want it
We should take time out to really love
We should find out who we really are
You can have it any way you want it
You can have it any way you want it
We should take time out to really love
We should find out who we really are
You can have it any way you want it
Any you want it
You can have it any way you want it
Hey hey
We should take time out to really love
We should find out who we really are
You can have it any way you want it
Any you want it
You can have it any way you want it
Hey hey
We should take time out to really love
We should find out who we really are
You can have it any way you want it
You can have it any way you want it

Paradise
Could it be the little
Things you do to me
Feelings that I'm feeling
Are so new to me
I'm going through
So many changes
Nothing ever felt
As strange as
How my heart goes
Crazy when you
Look at me-oh
[CHORUS:]
When I'm with you
Its paradise
No place on Earth
Could be so nice
Through the crystal waterfalls
I hear you call
Just take my hand
Its paradise
You kiss me once
I'll kiss you twice
And as I gaze
Into your eyes
I realise its paradise
Now I know the
Sweetest dreams can
All come true
'Cause I found Heaven
Here on earth
When I found you
Its nothing I could
Ever make up
How I hope
I never wake up
Just to find this
Isn't true reality
[Repeat chorus]
The world around just
Disappears without a trace
Telling me that I have
Found the perfect place
Let it stay this way forever
Deep in love and may
I never
Spend another day
Without you close to me
Ooh paradise
Yeah
Oh just take my hand
Its paradise
You kiss me once
I'll kiss you twice
And as I gaze
Into your eyes
I realise its paradise
[Repeat chorus]
Ooh paradise

Almost Paradise
I thought that dreams belonged to other men
'Cause each time I got close
They'd fall apart again
I feared my heart would beat in secrecy
I faced the nights alone
Oh, how could I have known
That all my life I only needed you?
Whoa
Almost paradise
We're knockin' on heaven's door
Almost paradise
How could we ask for more?
I swear that I can see forever in your eyes
Paradise
It seems like perfect love's so hard to find
I'd almost given up
You must have read my mind
And all these dreams I saved for a rainy day
They're finally coming true
I'll share them all with you
'Cause now we hold the future in our hands
Whoa
Almost paradise
We're knockin' on heaven's door
Almost paradise
How could we ask for more?
I swear that I can see forever in your eyes
Paradise
And in your arms salvation's not so far away
It's getting closer
Closer every day
It's almost paradise
We're knockin' on heaven's door
Almost paradise
How could we ask for more?
I swear that I can see forever in your eyes
Paradise
Whoa
Almost paradise
We're knockin' on heaven's door
Almost paradise
How could we ask for more?
I swear that I can see forever in your eyes

Im Free
I was stranded in the dark
Trying to find an open door
So alone
Chains were wrapped around my heart
Didnt know what love was for
No more
Heard these voices in my head
Telling me youll never escape
No you cant get away
When the spirit in me said
Your love could show me the way
My whole life changed on that day
Now Im walking in the light
All aglow
All I see is sunshine in my eyes
Skies of blue, its true
Im free
Out from under shadows
The only thing that matters
Is that youve worked a miracle in me
Im free
Now when clouds surround me
They have no place around me
All because your love has set me free
Im free
From the time that I knew
That I could find love in you
My hearts been renewed
Now all my dreams are coming true
Im free
I was frightened in the cold
Desperate when you found me in time
You saved me from the world
Got my life back in control
Chased away the madness in my mind
You saved me right in time
Now my futures looking up
Skies of blue, all because of you
Got the sunshine in my life
All aglow, baby, dont you know
Im free
Out from under shadows
The only thing that matters
Is that youve worked a miracle in me
Im free
Now when clouds surround me
They have no place around me
All because your love has set me free
Im free
From the time that I knew
That I could find love in you
My hearts been renewed
Now all my dreams are coming true
Im free
Im free
Out from under shadows
The only thing that matters
Is that youve worked a miracle in me
Im free
Now when clouds surround me
They have no place around me
All because your love has set me free
Im free

Early Works - Our Love (The Dreams) Part 2
Throughout all creation
lovers have dabbled in the past
never really knowing
what they are looking for
or are likely to find,
I like all the rest
have never found peace,
which should come with sleep.
Even in a dream world
I search and search
for an empty promise
that was never kept
and never will be.
For I am a dreamer
and dreamers never find
the true love that awaits them
at the end of a dream.
My life is wasted
dreaming of improbable causes
that never bud and blooms
like the flowers in spring and summer.
I’m hurt every time I fall
only because a fool like me
never really deserves love
that could make me free of endless dreams.
After my fruitless searches,
I find a true love,
yet cannot fall
in case she hurts me.
For one more scar
cut into my heart
would surely end my life.
So near the womb of love
I must linger
but never enter
for upon entering and falling
I would surely lose all
and losing all is the dread I fear.

So Young
Orbison/curb/christian
Dawn comes up so young, dreams begin so young
And if you live just for today the day may soon be done
But theres a place where dreams always stay so young
A place to hear the sun go down and fade away
To see the wind just run away with yesterday
Anyplace for those who care zabriskie point is anywhere
Time runs out so fast on love too good to last,so young
A time to look forevers there or never found
To touch the sky and really feel the world go round
To live to love to laugh to cry to be alone
Young,so young love was meant to be wild and free
So young young,so young love is space in life
A place in time a state of mind too late I find
When tomorrows gone and love is lost so young

Theres A Place For Us
...theres a place for us, somewhere a time and a place.
So here we are together
Just you and me
Sitting side by side
Dont know why
With time just racing by
But I dont want to go
Well I dont know much about it
cos all I am is what you see
In front of you
Theres no more
Feels so close and yet so far
But I dont want to go
Here I am, take my hand
Here I am, please take my hand
Id like to sit here with you if thats alright
If you dont mind I could sit and stare all night
Sit here waiting for you to hold me tight
Its sad but I know its true
You see I know you well
Youd only laugh at me
And that would hurt me so
Just look at me here
Youve got me pleading with you
But I dont want to go
cos you know that I love you so
Yes you know that I love you so
Here. I will be here love
For you love, I will always be here love
If you look real close
Youll see my heart is on my sleeve
And itll be here waiting
Waiting for you, waiting for me
Someone once said that if you truly, truly believe
You can make things happen
Make things appear to be all that they seem
Tell me do you believe?
Well find a hideaway
Together well find a way
Somewhere, somehow, well find some way
There must be somewhere
There must be someplace
We can find somewhere
Where they dont know my face
Believe me we can find it
Yes we can find it
Somewhere, theres a place for us
Somewhere, a time and a place for us
Somewhere

Fate vs Destiny
To find your true happiness tempt fate to discover your destiny.
You must hearken back to when real happiness was known
Remember its impact on your life
Opportunity knocks, open the door, you will see it coming.
You may be surprised to discover fate can mask your destiny.
Your fate and your destiny are not one in the same.
Your fate is what you settle for in life.
What you take as your life marches on day by day, an obligation to life.
Destiny is the gate you find at the end of the path you blaze
As you strive to attain life’s goal open the gate and find love,
Happiness and contentment; true peace of heart and mind.
Fate may leave you at destiny’s gate at the end of life.
Knowing only the travails of your battles to achieve life’s goal
Knowing not the sweetness of your victories.
The gate may not be open, leaving you empty
At the end of life's journey.
The path to your destiny is yours and yours alone
Ask yourself whether you wish to settle for your fate or…
Tempt your fate and discover the path.
The dark side of life; fear and self doubt can blur and cover the path.
Not always seen in the clear; hidden in your memory
Or on the full plate before you the path is always there.
Those who have known the depth of their love, the strength of their spirit,
Will find a guiding light illuminates their path.
In these qualities of character you will discover your true self
And the key to unlock the gate.
You will recognize the guide of your light.
The choice is yours, settle for fate or follow the light,
Find the key, unlock the gate … discover your destiny.

Care Not With Jealousy
faces friends events
memories labyrinth mazes
time encapsulate lives
care not with jealousy
count not the few or many
time slip transcendency
most had another lover
multiple lovers four leaf clover
mind in joy hover cover
first taste love relationships
tender innocence time porous rips
reins embodiment fate slips
why hold passion jealous stubborn fast
to who were memories in your lovers past
bliss times pass sadly cannot always last
for each gentle soul passing light
which filled your lovers day or night
be grateful spark was noble bright
be grateful for all kind past lovers
who gave happiness in meteorite showers
fate directed flowers to home meadows
how many men women were in her his past
be grateful for of them all true love may be last
fate directed her him into your path hold fast
what is true love true beauty
real love enfolds sacred duty
true heart be time ever worthy
be beautiful in love forget times past
embrace now so sacred love may last
embrace the future waylay not time last

Looking Back
There you go running this way and that,
You mean well but you haven't thought it through,
You sweat the big tears and cry yourself to sleep when alone,
You forgot that time heels nothing but the heart can heal everything,
You remember enough to feel guilty, but not enough to know why,
Look back man, look back to find and forgive yourself,
I should have waited, I know, but I forgave you anyway,
Please find yourself so that you can forgive me,
Look back man, look back so that we can move forward,
You judged yourself and then forgot why, so now you judge me too,
I know the depth of your heart,
I know the strength of your courage,
You have no fear except of your past,
You have no limits,
You have no need of your regrets,
You think that your love is limitless, but it's stuck in the past,
Keep digging deep within and you will find pain,
Keep digging deep within and you will find Truth,
Keep digging deep within and eventually you will find real love,
Keep digging deep within and you will find peace,
Keep digging deep within and you will find me.

Age Old Feelings
For this woman, his heart doth treasure
And in his soul, he will always treasure
In her heart, naught these feelings lay
But like a game, with him she'll play
Broken hearted, he cries heavy tears
Such tears had not been shed
For so long a time as to be forgot
Such a time he had such a thought
That a sacred love he would never find
And to said love, he would become blind
A fair young maiden in her tower sits
Between her heart and mind, she is split
Her mind demands she do what she must
Her heart to her mind may never trust
For her heart is where true love lies
Yet in her mind, that same love dies
How can love live and die at the same time?
It seems that thought would be known as crime
To her, True lover seems so far away
But in truth, that love will come one day
They met by chance, it seemed too late
But in his heart, it seemed like fate
She was so scared as was he
More in love, they could not be
But because the fear was combined with love
It did not seem it could last for long
They felt the joy but also the fear
He tried to help, she tried to hear
But she was too afraid to heed
So what he did was show her whats real
Not the things of want but that she was his only desire
I Fell For Your Love
Hey baby so now youre goin, is your mind relieved?
Did you get what you wanted and have some fun playin make believe?
I have never lost so much pleasure, so its hard to be nice.
Hey baby feel my hand, aint it cold as ice?
Chorus
cause I fell for your love, when I was out of my mind.
I fell for your love, and now you tell me its time.
To kiss it away, to stand here and say, good-bye.
Cant you understand the way I live?
Half a love is all that I can give.
Lonely ladies and empty faces for a long long time.
And you might be one baby when we meet again and Ill still try to make you mine.
Chorus
I fell for your love when I was out of my mind.
I fell for your love when love was so hard to find.
I gave you my heart and now you tell me its time,
To give up my love when its so damn hard to find.
Love is so hard to find.
Love is so hard to find.
Love is so hard to find.
Im so lonely baby.
Love is so hard to find.
Them empty faces, all I wanted was you.
Love is so hard to find.
I gave you my heart and now you tell me its time,
Love is so hard to find.
To stand and say good-bye.
Love is so hard to find.
Love is so hard to find.
Love is so hard to find.
When its so damn hard to find.
Love is so hard to find.
I fell for your love when I was out of my mind.

Stillness In Time (Radio Version)
There's a stillness in time
Which I cannot define
Does your heart bleed like mine (oh does your heart, yeah)
For a place we can go
Where the troubles of our time are far away (hey, they're so far away)
And I had all my life in front of me
Now my darkness days are trouble free
There are so many wonderous things for you to see (hey)
If you find that somethings going wrong
Look around at what your running from
You can wait a thousand years in line
For that stillness in time
(oh, yeah) I found love in that way
And I'm never sad, and I'm always glad
Anything you give me today
I will, will be thankful for (yeah, yeah, yeah)
People find it hard to be strong
Cos they don't know where they're coming from (oooh)
There was nothing left to do but hang on
For that stillness in time
(There's a stillness in time
Search the spaces of my mind)
If this world is turning too fast for your head
Just remember how bad times can roll instead
Yes I have to search the spaces in my mind
For that stillness in time.
(Hey) I feel love in that way
And I'm never sad, and I'm always glad
Ooo, Anything you give me today
I will, will be thankful for
People find it hard to be strong
Cause they don't know where they're coming from
Hey, there was nothing left to do but hang on
For that stillness in time.
Ooo, I know that this is the perfect for a sort of bliss
There is no me, for the love I have will stay the same
I have been wrong if I don't know where I'm coming from
If I proceed the things that are inside of me
All of me, in front of me
Oh, see it's all around me
Said I know, said I want to find that stillness in time
Stillness in time, hey
la, la, la, la, la, lo (repeat until end)

When the time is right for M'lady Ernestine
Broad sonnet
We search for love to no avail. We try too hard and so we fail.
Although it may seem curious, fate knows much better than us.
When we are ready for a mate and then she does not hesitate.
She sets the time she sets the place, when she will bring us face to face.
With the partner of our dreams although to us it always seems.
That we have met by accident, but we did not it was by intent.
Fate knows exactly what we need and with her help we will succeed.
In finding what we have searched for. We don’t need to search anymore
We have been chosen carefully and who are we to disagree
We are quite sure our dreams come true, precisely as fate means us to.
It might be just co incidence, what matters is the consequence.
The end result is we got wed. I think that fate accomplished.
The task that she set out to do, for you love me and I love you.
You don’t find love, love will find you but not until it’s ready to..
