Sleep
A weary tide breaks through the realm,
and suspends the mind in recurrent fate,
distract the conscious state of living being,
to form the rejuvenation slumber create.
In sudden twitch the hallucination finds,
light pierce into darker shadows of the mind,
and sleep conserve the energy which defines,
the sensory strength activity suspend.
In awareness of memorable dreams made,
time elapse into spheres of hypnotize power,
Counting prismatic stars into infinity fade,
Spinning tricks on icy clouds of fire.
With feelings without fear, we go anywhere,
on a journey through the mind; sleeping fine,
illusions dropp down into similar nightmare,
and the powers we possess takes us out in time.
To forget the furious under delirious breathe,
silence draw the slain day into another night,
right where sleep can walk with death and myth,
and elude the illusive fear to merge into light.
From the hour we awake with eyes deeper in debt,
the water stilled in tears wash dreams from sleep,
and count the hours we go back to the reposeful gift,
until the counting down stoop in silence to weep.

Autopilot
I can sleep, but I won't rest
I'll try to rest, but I'll only sleep
My dreams were once my escape
My nights held my happy days
Awake, I was depresed
Alseep, I had energy
I'd cry myself to sleep
Then I'd cry no more
Spreading my wings
I'd laugh under night's sun
Flying around the world
I'd make a hundred friends
Throwing fire and ice
I'd defeat all my enemies
Then I would wake up
And happiness fled
Walking through autopilot
In a world that wasn't real
Looking but never seeing
I'd cry under day's moon
Existing but never living
I'd avoid everyone
Closing my eyes
I'd hide from any enemies
I once rested
In the chaos of my dreams
The loud sleeping happiness
Was better than the quiet waking sadness
But things have changed
In a moment, a lifetime
Awake, I am content
Asleep, I am upset
If I sleep, I dream
When I dream, I fear
Running in terror
Crying in death
I see faces unkown
And know pain unfelt
I once looked for sleep to find rest
Now I avoid sleep so not to lose rest
My heaven became my hell
My hallucination became my shelter
I do not sleep, I do not rest
Tired, but I am happy
A new kind of autopilot
Which existance is worse?
Awake, I fear sleep coming
Asleep, I cannot wake
Never resting, only existing
Life on autopilot

The Dreams
Spare a little candle
Save some light for me
Figures up ahead
Moving in the trees
White skin in linen
Perfume on my wrist
And the full moon that hangs over
These dreams in the mist
Darkness on the edge
Shadows where I stand
I search for the time
On a watch with no hands
I want to see you clearly
Come closer than this
But all I remember
Are the dreams in the mist
These dreams go on when I close my eyes
Every second of the night I live another life
These dreams that sleep when it's cold outside
Every moment I'm awake the further I'm away
Is it cloak n dagger
Could it be spring or fall
I walk without a cut
Through a stained glass wall
Weaker in my eyesight
The candle in my grip
And words that have no form
Are falling from my lips
These dreams go on when I close my eyes
Every second of the night I live another life
These dreams that sleep when it's cold outside
Every moment I'm awake the further I'm away
There's something out there
I can't resist
I need to hide away from the pain
There's something out there
I can't resist
The sweetest song is silence
That I've ever heard
Funny how your feet
In dreams never touch the earth
In a wood full of princes
Freedom is a kiss
But the prince hides his face
From dreams in the mist
These dreams go on when I close my eyes
Every second of the night I live another life
These dreams that sleep when it's cold outside
Every moment I'm awake the further I'm away
These dreams go on when I close my eyes
Every second of the night I live another life
These dreams that sleep when it's cold outside
Every moment I'm awake the further I'm away

Sleep To Rejuvenate lIfe!
Unconscious state of being is sleep;
Sleep refreshes mind, heart and soul.
While awake our activities are known
And while asleep no activity is known!
Dreams are common in sleep for all;
It fulfils the heart not possible otherwise!
First all starts as dreams and ends in action;
So, dream is consolation and inspiration!
Coming back to senses seems to be a magic!
If it does not take place one is concluded as dead!
In activities and sleep man's life goes on here;
But without good sleep no activity is bright!
Work while you work, play while play and also
Sleep while you sleep to rejuvenate your life!

Nighttime Forever
Noisy world
quiet minds
spinning forever
through all time
Thoughtless wonders
peaceful hate
for all man
death is fate
Fear and power
Greed and lust
one touch of water and
iron turns to rust
quiet sadness
of one's own mind
spinning forever
through all time
one's solitude
one's own mind
made an original
one of a kind
Too bad to say
my mind is gone
forever hopeless
used to be strong
I'll never know
of my own fate
because my heart
spoke too late.
The time is slow
the hours fade to days
the more time that passes
the more I fade away
I leave you with this
with this, be wise
follow pleasure
to your own demise

Let The Night Sleep
Let the night sleep
Sleep for ever deep
With the night I sleep
Beyond the world to peep
Universe will sleep
Plants and trees
Birds and bees
Stars and moon
To sleep very soon!
Fruits and flowers
Joy with showers
Will sleep with me and the night
Not to keep the life very tight!
No dawn of the day
Right upto the dooms day!
Sleep permanent
In the world impermanent
I'll sleep without light
My agonies will sleep
My worries will sleep
My pains will sleep
My sins will sleep!
While in sleep
I am pure
I am peace
I am noble!
While my body is asleep
Awake my soul I keep
Sleep akin to death
Death akin to sleep in mirth?
Let the night sleep
Sleep for ever deep
With night I sleep
Sleep to eternity
Soul to merge in Divinity!

To wander, missing the goal
The king had a halt to pass out the night.
The charioteer had to guard the horse
For which he must not sleep through out the night.
The king suggested thinking on something.
The king woke up a few hours later and
Found him awake thinking about something.
Questioned, he told he was counting the stars.
Complimenting him, the king went to sleep.
The king woke up after a few hours and
Found him awake with something in mind.
Asked, he said that he was watching the clouds.
Patting on his back, the king went to sleep.
The king woke up in the early hour and
Found him still awake and felt quite assured.
‘I was thinking if the horse left itself
Or someone chased it.', he said candidly.
He took full efforts not to fall asleep
And in the process he missed the purpose.
Devotion to the rites and the rituals
Will tie you to the religion, not the God.

Living Bad Dreams
I'm hypnotised
and helpless
Beneath the pale
full moon
My body is your sacrifice
You spirit's coming soon
I stare up at a
squalid night
It's been so cold
and smooth
Turns tender kisses
into bites
As you begin to move
You look so weak
and fragile
You seem to drip
and sway
But you swept me up into
your arms
And carried me away
I'm living bad dreams
I can't run from you
I'm living bad dreams
This nightmare's
coming true
You led me to temptation
Delivered me to pain
I walked upon you
hallowed ground
My soul is yours to gain
Your passion drains
my energy
Fear starts running deep
I'm falling in
slow motion
Into eternal sleep
I'm living bad dreams
I can't run from you
I'm living bad dreams
This nightmare's
coming true
[Lead Break]
Your passion drains
my energy
Fear starts running deep
I'm falling in
slow motion
Into eternal sleep
I'm living bad dreams
I can't run from you
I'm living bad dreams
This nightmare's
coming true
I'm living bad dreams
I can't run from you
I'm living bad dreams
This nightmare's
coming true
I'm living bad dreams
ohh ohh
I don't want bad dreams
Living bad dreams

Dedicated to ppl who dont sleep
Sleep, sleep, sleep
It’s magnificent and nice,
With dreams beyond wonder,
Sleep! sleep! sleep!
Sleep, sleep, sleep
Eyes tightly closed,
A little smile on you r cheeks,
Feeling the ambiance
Of the pure and precious sleep,
Sleep! sleep! sleep!
Sleep, sleep, sleep
Forgetting insane things of the mixed world outside
Relax my dear, feel the gentle breeze,
Do not worry about tomorrow, do not weep,
Wake up fresh in the morning with a recuperate mind,
Fresh and blessed with a wonderful sleep,
SLEEP, SLEEP, SLEEP!

Broken pattern
We had never found ourselves here before; we never needed to walk out the door. The slamming door is followed by the silence of the night,
But in my mind still exists the loudness of the scary fight.
I let myself fall for you, knowing it could not be, an end before the start, You knew it too, but never prevented me, a classic story of a broken heart.
And I try to sleep the pain away, but it haunts me even that deep. I can hear my heart pray, as my tears drown me in my sleep.
My heart deceives me again and will not take the blame, it's addicted to loss with no gain, it's a pattern, and it has always been the same.
I am not blinded by the sunshine anymore; their words of hope are not reaching me. I am searching for my lost core, intimidated of losing and losing eternally.
I start by counting every minute, hour, and day, if I am able. I celebrate any strength I have found. Outside everything is still and stable. But in me everything is spinning around.
Missing you, the way I do is filling my heart with creases. Thinking of you, as often as I do is tearing my mind into pieces. Don't ask; you now know it all, every time I rise I must fall.

Sleepless
Its 5a.m and im up again
Sleepless nights they always win.
I lay down in the silence and darkness
Hoping for a sleep of bliss
I have tried it all,
From warm milk, pills to a stress ball.
Nothing seems to help alleviate
Not even alittle time to meditate
This is my curse from now till the end
For sheep to count its time to send.
Tossing and turning,
While my mind is still churning
Its hot no its cold
This feeling is really getting old.
Well now i feel i can slumber,
But screw counting sheep i forget the number.

Say I am You!
the speck of a star dust,
Filling a ray of light,
Get Exited to roam here and there!
The one who has neither born, nor die,
The eternal infinite singing its eternal song AUM,
Going round and round the Sun,
Along the revolving Earth,
Rotating about own axis along with rotating Planet!
Night is the time,
Sleeping in infinite nothing,
becoming nothing in beloved
embrace,
forgetting everything! In the lap of beloved enjoy
dreams,
may some come true,
Some may not,
Observing dreams one sees the
light within, At the dawn, with gentle breeze,
Dreams melt, innerlight into light
of world,
Never go back to sleep,
If you sleep at dawn,
What will be there at dusk? If dustfree dawn make you sleep,
Failing to Smile and work,
If can't feel lighter in the light of
dawn,
Sure the darkness covering light,
Will make you faint at dusk!
I and you are same here,
Counting the time, counting the days,
Everything is natural,
Why can't I be more natural
Why can't I be neutral,
All here are busy,
The Sun, the Moon,
The Earth,
The ocean and breeze,
Every cells of plants and animals busy,
Look at your cells,
That too are soundlessly busy,
Why can't I and you,
Say 'I am you' to the creator,
Because you too conferred same capacity,
capable to create your own world,
Your own happiness and sorrow,
Your own world of life, wisdom and knowledge,
Its show of shadow play is this world!

I'm Not Losing Sleep
Yes, I've read the morning papers
Telling me that you've made money
Do you think I'm gonna crawl, then think again
Though I'm dressed in rags, I'm richer
Though I eat from tins, I'm healthier
Though I live in slums, I'm purer than you, my friend
Too bad, I'm not losing sleep
[Too bad] I'm just counting sheep
[Too bad] I'm not losing sleep, my friend
Look around and see the friends
The ones you left, our friends deserted
See the guys that used to talk and drink with you
Don't look down your nose at me
'Cause I won't ask your sympathy
I won't be your yes-sir man for anything
Too bad, I'm not losing sleep
[Too bad] I'm just counting sheep
[Too bad] I'm not losing sleep, my friend
I would walk with you
Talk with you, drink with you
If you drop that halo that you're wearing on the ground
Too bad, I'm not losing sleep
[Too bad] I'm just counting sheep
[Too bad] I'm not losing sleep, my friend
I can't get my satisfaction
Knowing you won't get reaction
What makes me the big attraction anyway
It's too bad, I'm not losing sleep
[Too bad] I'm just counting sheep
[Too bad] I'm not losing sleep, my friend
Too bad, I'm not losing sleep
[Too bad] I'm just counting sheep
[Too bad] I'm not losing sleep, my friend
Oh, it's too bad, I'm not losing sleep
[Too bad] I'm just counting sheep
[Too bad] I'm not losing sleep, my friend

The tired mind
The tired mind
~
The tired mind bemoans a weary traveller
Far too old in the day as night time falls
Dust laden boots kicked to the dirt
An aching body laid down to sleep
While memories continue to stir
Unavoidable to a weathered thought
The onset of a life’s adventures
The romances won and lost
The unknown of what is still to come
A day hence shall be revealed
For now fear and anticipation linger
A tired mind plays on trivial questions
Labouring to forget and to sleep
Heavy set eyes look out into nothing
Into the night the ending of the day
Old and late the hour has come
For a weary traveller to say goodnight
And for a tired mind to be done

I Want To Sleep
My covers and I fight all night
I’m not sleeping well can’t you tell
My restless mind can’t unwind
Eyes are stubborn so I toss and turn
Life’s so cruel I’m miserable
Blue turns red ricochets in my head
Body so numb sleep wont come
Agitated all night till morning’s light
My problems blossoms
The rains came and nothing is the same
Autumn showers now devour
Things sweet seems incomplete
Tired eyes till sunrise
Throat so dry all night I cry
I cried for happiness went for a joyride
Trying to keep it inside, but the sadness I can’t hide
Matters not what I do I can’t breakthrough
So many issues so my tongue and throat argues
Made a great error and can’t keep it together
No better for worst I’m cursed
In a trance as shadows dance
Specters flow to a slow tempo
Nothing medicates so I’m up late
Maybe it was something on my plate I ate
It’s not my fate for my mind and eyes to negotiate
Suffering from the abuse for allies refuse to come to a truce
For updates my body waits
My heart pulsates and sleep procrastinates
Can’t sleep so in the darkness I weep
Exhausted for heaven sake laying here so awake
Counting not a single sheep for the hill is so steep
Affording not the upkeep for everyone else is asleep

Only When I Sleep
You're only just a dream boat
Sailing in my head
You swim my secret oceans
Of coral blue and red
Your smell is incense burning
Your touch is silken yet
It reaches through my skin
Moving from within
And clutches at my breast
But it's only when I sleep
See you in my dreams
Got me spinning round and round
Turning upside down
But I only hear you breathe
Somewhere in my sleep
Got me spinning round and round
Turning upside down
But it's only when I sleep
And when I wake from slumber
Your shadow's disappeared
Your breath is just a sea mist
Surrounding my body
I'm working through the daytime
But when it's time to rest
I'm lying in my bed
Listening to my breath
Falling from the edge
But it's only when I sleep
See you in my dreams
Got me spinning round and round
Turning upside down
But I only hear you breathe
Somewhere in my sleep
Got me spinning round and round
Turning upside down
But it's only when I sleep
But it's only when I sleep
It's reaching through my skin
Moving from within
And clutches at my breast
But it's only when I sleep
See you in my dreams
Got me spinning round and round
Turning upside down
But I only hear you breathe
But it's only when I sleep
Got me spinning round and round
Up to the sky
Where angels fly
I'll never die

Sleep Well Angel Sweetness
Sleep well angel sweetness
Find your place in dreams
Keep well within your mind
That nothing's as it seams.
This night angel sweetness
You have opened up my eyes
You have changed in form
Beyond the storm and opened up the skies.
Sleep well angel princes
In your kingdom's shade
Keep well within your boundaries
The time allowed to fade.
Sleep well angel dearest
Moon beam maiden of this realm
Keep steady in your hand the dreams
Which keep you steady at the helm.
Sleep well angel sweetness
Find your place within the clouds
Beyond the reach of savage men
Beyond the gathered crowds.
Let us dance beyond the moon
Allow us time to sing
Let us dance upon the moon
Allow us love to bring.
Let us swim the ocean sky
Allow us love to know
Let us fly and never sigh
Above worlds of porcelain snow.
My love for you sweet angel
Knows no boundaries in its kiss
Sleep well angel dearest
Upon a cloud of heavens bliss
Rest your head a moment
Just one moment in descent
Allow us time to kiss the moon
The future, past and present.
Let us swim the ocean sky
See angels dreaming there
Let us swim and never sigh
Run fingers through their hair.
Sleep well angel dearest
Below the clear moon sky
Embrace all it is you fear
Could bring tears to your eyes.
Embrace the day that beckons you
For it is as each moment the birth
And death of all creation.

The Sleep
The sleep is natural to many
But it denies itself to so many
Sleep is calmness within
When ego rests in The Self
Sleep pervades into
Inner recesses of consciousness
And the awareness recedes
The sleep is silence
To happenings
Within and without of the body
Conscious but unaware
The sleep is the experience of the Self
And The Self is the sleep’s seer
Guide and terminator
The sleep is cessation of
Mental activities within
And is free from interference of self-consciousness
Is tonic to mental ailments and malfunctions
The sleep is the bliss, the peace
And the tranquility of mind

Nights awake
sometimes when the demons
seem real all we need is
an inspiration to convince
us that morning comes after night
so many sleepless nights as
my dreams are constant nightmares
I've seen death come in
every form and size
and find it hard to believe
theres light at the end of the
tunnel. so many left this world
those that were near to me
i could never forget
I've kept a smile on my face
cause i believe there
still reason to smile
and maybe am just trying
to find out what it is
so in my final moments
i wander if my nightmares
we'll ever leave
and will my dreams return
i have search so much that
Ive gotten lost but its the
power in belief that a new day
awaits the weary is what
keep this vassel together
for sleepless night are so often
and days of sleep come
after time collapse by my side
so as am weary and weak
i look at the sky and
listen to the world sleep
as am awake for i no
i am not alone were just
to busy convincing ourself
we ain't got a problem
