Her sapphire eyes penetrated my soul,
water of a full cup flowing from inside
Smeared her face with the bitter cold,
Streams of fresh joy could not hide.
The thing which made smiles sparkling
Began the bliss within
From excitement of being
Strangely in love again
Bittersweet tears are softly torn,
From reflection glistens off her face
Betrayed the fate she had worn,

Lines On The Old Man's Face
Definitive lines on his face
Convey the pathos of his life
One can see the painful trace
Of anguish cutting as a knife.
His unshed tears locked up inside
Stifled grief that left him torn
Eyes in blank stare try to hide
A father's sorrow yet unborn.
The years have not been very kind
Each day he ached for lost company
His beloved son they could not find
These last days leave him a memory.

Tears of pain stream down my although I know you're in a better place
Wishing I could see your face..,

Who can ascend God’s holy hill?

The Lover Describeth His Restless State
AS oft as I behold, and see
The sovereign beauty that me bound ;
The nigher my comfort is to me,
Alas ! the fresher is my wound.
As flame doth quench by rage of fire,
And running streams consume by rain ;
So doth the sight that I desire
Appease my grief, and deadly pain.
Like as the fly that see'th the flame,
And thinks to play her in the fire ;
That found her woe, and sought her game
Where grief did grow by her desire.
First when I saw those crystal streams,
Whose beauty made my mortal wound ;
I little thought within their beams
So sweet a venom to have found.
But wilful will did prick me forth,
Blind Cupid did me whip and guide ;
Force made me take my grief in worth ;1
My fruitless hope my harm did hide ;
Wherein is hid the cruel bit,
Whose sharp repulse none can resist ;
And eke the spur that strains each wit
To run the race against his list.
As cruel waves full oft be found
Against the rocks to roar and cry ;
So doth my heart full oft rebound
Against my breast full bitterly.
And as the spider draws her line,
With labour lost I frame my suit ;

A Man's Repentance
To-night when I came from the club at eleven,
Under the gaslight I saw a face-
A woman's face! and I swear to heaven
It looked like the ghastly ghost of-Grace!
And Grace? why, Grace was fair; and I tarried,
And loved her a season as we men do.
And then-but pshaw! why, of course, she is married,
Has a husband, and doubtless, a babe or two.
She was perfectly calm on the day we parted;
She spared me a scene, to my great surprise.
She wasn't the kind to be broken-hearted,
I remember she said, with a spark in her eyes.
I was tempted, I know, by her proud defiance,
To make good my promises there and then.
But the world would have called it a mésalliance!
I dreaded the comments and sneers of men.
So I left her to grieve for a faithless lover,
And to hide her heart from the cold world's sight
As women do hide them, the wide earth over;
My God! was it Grace that I saw to-night?
I thought of her married, and often with pity,
A poor man's wife in some dull place.
And now to know she is here in the city,
Under the gaslight, and with that face!
Yet I knew it at once, in spite of the daubing
Of paint and powder, and she knew me;
She drew a quick breath that was almost sobbing,
And shrank in the shade so I should not see.
There was hell in her eyes! She was worn and jaded;
Her soul is at war with the life she has led.
As I looked on that face so strangely faded,
I wonder God did not strike me dead.
While I have been happy and gay and jolly,
Received by the very best people in town,
That girl whom I led in the way to folly,
Has gone on recklessly down and down.
Two o'clock, and no sleep has found me.
That face I saw in the street-lamp's light
Peers everywhere out from the shadows around me-
I know how a murderer feels to-night!

Mirrored Image So Unlike Me
Adrift on mirror water without command,
My life out of control, I try to understand.
Within this summer day’s afternoon heat,
Is that my heart like thunder I hear beat?
As winds whisper across this lake’s face,
I see an image of some man in this place.
Given to instability of body and the mind,
In lone canoe I rise to see what I may find.
Who is it standing on the water I now see?
In tearful silence a reflection so unhappy.
Lost in tortuous void nothing touches he.
It is my reflected image yet so unlike me.
Chained with fetters of regret is my soul,
For not holding to you in the days of old.
Endless drops of tears on my face I feel,
In shock I wipe the moisture as I kneel.

Turning Emotions into Fiction
Another story I tell
Words are my weapons
With what I write
Pages worn, crumbled, and kind of worn
It's another creature creeping out from the night
It's the stars shooting across the twilight
I build a foundation for life
With feeling of anger, and rage
Its a scary thriller
With feelings of love and happiness
Its a happily ever after
With feelings of guilt and pity
Its a accidental murder she wrote
With the feeling, with so many feeling
How do I describe?
What I can't with my own tongue
Lips are sealed
Secret are buried
Never to be revealed
How can I be fully healed?
When I have no one to deal with it
Acceptance is only part of the bigger picture
I just can't see it all yet
But its their like a plaguing despair
Hiding within the air
I can taste it
Bitter as it can be
A sour apple is good for the mind
But only if you eat it slowly away
Pretend your okay
But the soul is still destroyed
Emotionally wrecked
A reality check
How come dreams taste so sweet?

Touch Others With Tears
When trials descends upon the home,
I am left alone to find solution,
With tears making sheltering atone.
They turned to water and wet my face,
Problems trace the air in silence,
They leave to go and return in haste.
The friends I ask for help,
It seems they too have long slip,
From the positions they had grip.
Their hearts are made of stone,
With passion surrendering decision
I wrestle with passion.
Struggle on trying to understand,
We have to the face trials in our mind,
Treat then as an enemy or a friend.
Realise everything is just for a little while,
We can walk away or even run a mile,
But a problem share though a smile.
Will overcome the winds that blow,
The pain where the tears flows,
Reaching heights of sorrows.
Outside when the tears dried,
Pain goes where tears cannot hide,
The breath we take torment inside.
From the moment you touch others,
See the world through their watery eyes,
Piercing inside with winter tears.

Washed Away
It's hard to tell
what exactly is streaking my face
the water pouring over me
or the water leaving my eyes
Trying to use the scolding hot water
use it to wash away everything
the world
the pain
The warm water
running over me
then to the drain
taking nothing with it
The cool water
flowing into the drain
none of the pain circling with it
no matter how much I want it to
The cold water
making me shiver
numbing me
inside and out
Ice cold water
freezing my veins
finally ridding me of pain
leaving nothing
The only sign of life
is the slight shiver
I get when I think of what happen
when I think of her.
