On The Danger Of War
Avert, High Wisdom, never vainly wooed,
This threat of War, that shows a land brain-sick.
When nations gain the pitch where rhetoric
Seems reason they are ripe for cannon's food.
Dark looms the issue though the cause be good,
But with the doubt 'tis our old devil's trick.
O now the down-slope of the lunatic
Illumine lest we redden of that brood.
For not since man in his first view of thee
Ascended to the heavens giving sign
Within him of deep sky and sounded sea,
Did he unforfeiting thy laws transgress;
In peril of his blood his ears incline
To drums whose loudness is their emptiness.

The Poet and the Sun~2
The Sun
O, it is enough, issue of Adam, make me not shy,
Thou shine on the earth and I in the sky,
The light of thy wisdom is brighter than me,
Thy knowledge bears the same what my beams,
I take a journey daily from the east to the west just for thee,
Cause thou art the reason of all my dreams.
Ah! But ye proud on only being the best creature,
And standing at the same place did wherein ye venture,
Thou jealous if one of thee lives in pleasure,
And move from sky to earth to snatch his leisure,
O, thou selfish, and cheat the people of thine,
This is why thou constant falling into disgrace-rine.
They took birth to die, who were before thee,
And showed their lives like mirror not only fly,
And on their might they did always believe,
And were frightful to God and ye to die,
The witness of thy success are sky, land and sea,
But, thou coward and selfish so ye severely grieve.
O, create pain for thy people in thee again,
If thy former culmination thou wish to gain,
With spiritual laws, never, o never compromise,
And be hopeful, shortly thy sun is to rise,
Thou art called knights if tin remain in one,
Else will be abolished thy being one by one.

Travelling At The Speed Of Thought
(kool keith)
I go 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
As i take your mind off
And on to a new track
To tame dogs how to act
Respect me, when i whip your brain
Skip your brain and dip your brain
In the lotion while i deck ya skull
I'm like a bird when i'm pecking ya skull
Til it hurts and swell, puffs, bleed, blood
Hatches down, ?covering knots for eye jammy?
I'm taking ya brain from the back
I'ma pull out ya ears cuz i'm sick
Traveling hard, ill off, another lunatic
Smacking germs, eating bugs, biting mouse
Roaches wonder why i'm traveling
On to bell vue cuz i'm sick
Traveling hard at the speed of thought
(ced-gee)
Well, i'm back to seek and freek a new remix
Wit the sounds of light and i can't miss
Rocking the beats will cause hard time
Wit the way i say and i freak rhymes
Ruff and hardcore, i wanna encore
I'm ced-gee, i'm in an uproar
Taking breaks, snatching, giving x-rays
Read ya cells or should i say
Hey, it's nothing, i'm simply rushing
Into ya skull and merely crushing
Cells, leaving you blind
The more you look, the more you will find
Me, traveling at the speed of thought

Is It You're Day Today?
Vitamins and minerals
Flowing through the air
Everything is rhythmical
Body's in repair
Genuine but strenuous
The cars are whizzing by
Anything is topical
So bad you want to fly
Mirrors shining through and through
But two and one makes two, that's two
Waking up in hospital
Nurses taking care
Feeling philosophical
And radically aware
There is nothing in the way
I wonder how he's feeling
Today
Looking on the computers
As Brain juice is diluted
Waiting for the name to call
Avoiding many brawls
Green sign looms
Big green sign looms
Big green sign looms onward
Is it your day today?

Sonnet # 398
As like no doubt the appetite`s behavior
That asks for food when it has had food had
Does kill all wants of food becomes its hater
Only to later come; wish food `gain bad.
So`s the desire of intercourse all know
That when it`s satisfied knows not the flesh;
That e`en with Venus to bed would not go,
But then does come another day strong, fresh.
Thus is my love for all the human race
That weak becomes when I see people`s worst
Only to come, lo, strong like mother`s embrace
When I see people`s best, like mad a thirst.
So I go low and high in this my living.
Somtimes I laugh and others cry sad giving.

Thy Thunder Pealeth O'er Us
Thy thunder pealeth o'er us,
God of the earth and sky!
And o'er the gloomy heavens
The clouds roll dark and high.
But 't is not by thine anger,
Those flashing bolts are hurl'd,
To desolate and humble
A proud and guilty world.
Though awful in its grandeur
The storm o'ermounts the sky,
It bears from thee a blessing,
Beneath its scowling eye.
Behind its steps more radiantly
The deep blue heavens will shine,
And the glad earth, rejoicing,
Pour forth her corn and wine.
But oh, there lieth brooding,
A cloud more dark and dread,
Above our guilty nation,
In fearful portent spread!
Though broad our frightful borders
All smilingly expand,
The curse of blood is on us,
And on our pleasant land.
For we have sinn'd before thee,
And caused dark floods to roll,
Of tyranny and anguish,
Across our brother's soul.
But let not yet thine anger
Consume our blood-stain'd sod;
Extend a little longer
Thy mercy, oh our God!
And touch our flinty bosoms
With thy dissolving grace,
That we may hate our vileness,
And weep before thy face.

On The Death Of The Vice-Chancellor, A Physician (Translated From Milton)
Learn ye nations of the earth
The condition of your birth,
Now be taught your feeble state,
Know, that all must yield to Fate!
If the mournful Rover, Death,
Say but once-resign your breath-
Vainly of escape you dream,
You must pass the Stygian stream.
Could the stoutest overcome
Death's assault, and baffle Doom,
Hercules had both withstood
Undiseas'd by Nessus' blood.
Ne'er had Hector press'd the plain
By a trick of Pallas slain,
Nor the Chief to Jove allied
By Achilles' phantom died.
Could enchantments life prolong,
Circe, saved by magic song,
Still had liv'd, and equal skill
Had preserv'd Medea still.
Dwelt in herbs and drugs a pow'r
To avert Man's destin'd hour,
Learn'd Machaon should have known
Doubtless to avert his own.
Chiron had survived the smart
Of the Hydra-tainted dart,
And Jove's bolt had been with ease
Foil'd by Asclepiades.
Thou too, Sage! of whom forlorn
Helicon and Cirrha mourn,
Still had'st filled thy princely place,
Regent of the gowned race,
Had'st advanc'd to higher fame
Still, thy much-ennobled name,
Nor in Charon's skiff explored
The Tartarean gulph abhorr'd.
But resentful Proserpine,
Jealous of thy skill divine,
Snapping short thy vital thread
Thee too number'd with the Dead.
Wise and good! untroubled be
The green turf that covers thee,
Thence in gay profusion grow
All the sweetest flow'rs that blow!
Pluto's Consort bid thee rest!
Oeacus pronounce thee blest!
To her home thy shade consign,
Make Elysium ever thine!

Extinguish Thou My Eyes
Extinguish Thou my eyes:I still can see Thee,
deprive my ears of sound:I still can hear Thee,
and without feet I still can come to Thee,
and without voice I still can call to Thee.
Sever my arms from me, I still will hold Thee
with all my heart as with a single hand,
arrest my heart, my brain will keep on beating,
and Should Thy fire at last my brain consume,
the flowing of my blood will carry Thee.

Hymn 52
Baptism.
Matt. 28:19; Acts 2:38.
'Twas the commission of our Lord,
"Go teach the nations, and baptize:"
The nations have received the word
Since he ascended to the skies.
He sits upon th' eternal hills,
With grace and pardon in his hands;
And sends his cov'nant with the seals,
To bless the distant British lands.
"Repent, and be baptized," he saith,
For the remission of your sins:"
And thus our sense assists our faith,
And shows us what his gospel means.
Our souls he washes in his blood,
As water makes the body clean;
And the good Spirit from our God
Descends like purifying rain.
Thus we engage ourselves to thee,
And seal our cov'nant with the Lord;
O may the great eternal Three
In heav'n our solemn vows record!

If I Must Die Tomorrow...
If I must die tomorrow
God, let it be for fighting discrimination
And injustice
Let it be for the love of my people
Let it be for the pride of my people
Let it be for my contributions
To Peace
And to a good and just cause
Because, because
My blood is too precious to be shed
For nonsense
And indifference
My tears are too valuable to be shed
For callousness
And divisiveness.
If I must die tomorrow
Ladies and Gentlemen
Have no sorrow
Because I am a very proud man.
If I must die tomorrow
Let it be for fighting for Freedom and Liberty
Let it be for defeating ignorance and nonsense
Let it be for injecting wisdom and intelligence
Deep inside the brain of my people
Let it be for voting first at the poll
Le it be for cursing at Oppression
Let it be for leading the blind in the right direction.
Most of us have eyes that can’t see
Most of us have nose that can’t smell
Most of us have ears that cannot hear
Neither the drums of Liberty nor the bells of Freedom.
If I must die tomorrow
God, let my last breath blends
With the autumnal winds
For the true pride of my ancestors.
Most of us have eyes that can’t see
Most of us have nose that can’t smell
Most of us have ears that cannot hear
Neither the drums of Liberty nor the bells of Freedom.
If I must die tomorrow
Ladies and Gentlemen
Have no sorrow
Because I die fighting like a proud man./

To The True Patroness of all Poetry, Calliope
It is a statute in deep wisdom's lore,
That for his lines none should a patron chuse
By wealth and poverty, by less or more,
But who the same is able to peruse:
Nor ought a man his labour dedicate,
Without a true and sensible desert,
To any power of such a mighty state
But such a wise defendress as thou art
Thou great and powerful Muse, then pardon me
That I presume thy maiden cheek to stain
In dedicating such a work to thee,
Sprung from the issue of an idle brain:
I use thee as a woman ought to be,
I consecrate my idle hours to thee.

Be Glad The Gods Know What Is Good For You
you made a pilgrimage to the mountains
climbed the steep hills and crossed the ten rivers
you sailed the five seas and walked the three continents
you are praying for the fulfillment of a wish
for a dream to come true
and you whisper it to the ears of the gods
offering food and flowers
lighting scented candles and letting the smokes from the incenses
spread to the heavens
as you bow your head and prostrate on your legs
and make your chants
in humble worship
the gods did not grant what you were asking
they all said no and you asked for a reconsideration
they all denied your motion
it was given to someone else and you wish you were dead
lightning hit the man you envied and thunder sounded like happy drums
the man to which your wish was granted is now dead.
be glad for the gods know what is good for you
when they denied it, they said it is not meant for you
and they never wanted you dead that early in his bed.

You and your Career
Your ears were choosing what to hear,
When mighty jungles claimed noises,
The reason behind the brain and what is clear.
My sight detained me and made me disappear,
Where was I situated, afterwards with afterimages?
Your ears were choosing what to hear.
Your instrument is heavenly in this world and atmosphere,
Like music has spoken and never abuses,
The reason behind the brain and what is clear.
I ride on a faith too majestic and pure to adhere,
Such innocence exhibits the advantages,
Your ears were choosing what to hear,
My mind is passing a test, like drinking beer,
Inner fighting has survived the ambushes,
The reason behind the brain and what is clear.
I can never refuse a man to speak about a career,
The laughing is acted due to this and never ceases,
Your ears were choosing what to hear,
The reason behind the brain and what is clear.

Sonnet: War Ain’t The Solution
The troops of two nations stand either side
Of line of control, threat'ning each other;
And fire shells, missiles, canon-guns: hide;
Brother is pitted 'gainst his own brother.
One blames the other for this situation;
And die Jawans daily in more numbers;
United Nations advises 'caution';
The rest of world in selfishness slumbers.
A war could start between two good neighbors
Over the issue of a piece of land!
The war could rope in umptine new members;
Yet, Terrorists are taking upper hand.
Can Peace be ushered by confrontation?
Nay, War's a thing that’s worth condemnation

Mother Theresa
Your loving hands
mother the sick, the strangers,
the homeless and the orphans.
You walk through the streets
of Calcutta and Bombay to find
these unfortunates;
hug and embrace them as God's jewels,
give them food, roof
and bed for their head.
You are a servant
ascended to the heavens
to be counted among the real stars.

The number of strokes to the inch controls the pitch of the note: the more, the higher the pitch; the fewer, the lower the pitch, the size of the stroke controls the loudness... the tone quality is the most difficult element to control, it is made by the shape of the strokes.

Mad, But Not So Mad
Though our eye in recent seasons
Has a wild and glassy glare,
And we fail to offer reasons
For the straws that deck our hair;
There are certain consolations
That are unction for the soul
When we view the older nations
Gone completely up the pole.
We may be mad, but not so mad
As others quite bereft
Of reason. Though our case is sad,
We've sparks of gumption left.
For, while we have the art to see
From this our island raft,
How mad the other nations be
That sail the economic sea,
We're not completely daft.
In regard to hops and butter,
Wheat and sugar, things like these
Our insanity is utter
As evinced by subsidies.
In regard to other matters,
As events have proved today,
We're not quite as mad as haters
Or not so far anyway.
And tho' our land's a troubled land,
But few of us are found
Making insane attempts to stand
'With ears upon the ground.'
Contortionists might very well
Attempt it without fear;
But it must come of stuff they sell
When Breweries, as judges tell,
Are standing on their ears.

Tis Gone, And For Ever
'Tis gone, and for ever, the light we saw breaking,
Like Heaven's first dawn o'er the sleep of the dead --
When Man, from the slumber of ages awaking,
Look'd upward, and bless'd the pure ray, ere it fled.
'Tis gone, and the gleams it has left of its burning,
But deepen the long night of bondage and mourning,
That dark o'er the kingdoms of earth is returning,
And darkest of all, hapless Erin, o'er thee.
For high was thy hope, when those glories were darting
Around thee, through all the gross clouds of the world;
When Truth, from her letters indignantly starting,
At once, like a sun-burst, her banner unfurl'd.
Oh! never shall earth see a moment so splendid!
Then, then -- had one Hymn of Deliverance blended
The tongues of all nations -- how sweet had ascended
The first note of liberty , Erin, from thee!
But, shame on those tyrants who envied the blessing!
And shame on the light race, unworthy its good,
Who, at Death's reeking altar, like furies, caressing
The young hope of Freedom, baptised it in blood.
Then vanish'd for ever that fair sunny vision,
Which, spite of the slavish, the cold heart's derision,
Shall long be remember'd, pure, bright, and elysian,
As first it arose, my lost Erin, on thee.

Anal Narcotico
Babies asses profaned
By lustful
Psychopath' penises
Asses from which blood
And entrails' fragments
Spill out.
Inconceivable scream - tearing
Apart ears of the
Criminal
Who wants to fulfill
His sick mind,
Sick of emptiness that
Blows up his brain
Anal narcotic that allows
To unload animal lust.
Small object of orgiastic play
Choking in its yell - by sperm
Of the executioner
Who's got nothing
For his defense - except
Innocence
Raped eyes in deaf scream
Look for death that
Will release from
Pain,
Off "mother's pain",
When they came into
This world.

Seventh Sign
Ive been sailin cross the ocean
With the devil by my side
Ive been flyin cross the great blue sky
But theres nowhere to hide
Ive been standin by the crossroads
Ive been lookin for a clue
Ive been prayin for the human race
There s not a lot I can do
Ive been waitin for the warnin
As we look to the sky now
We all seem lost if you ask me why
Its the seventh sign
See the blood-red sky tonight
Its the seventh sign
See the blood red sky
Theres a voice out on the wasteland
It says were runnin out of time
I used to think the world could change
Lord I must have been blind
Ive been cryin out for mankind
Ive been hangin on to faith
But the comin of a messenger
Says its much too late
We could all come together
And gather all around
What good is war when we all go down
Its the seventh sign
See the blood-red sky tonight
Its the seventh sign see the blood red sky
