Simple Observation #192 - Natural Selection seems to be......
Natural selection seems to be another term for the will of God operating in creation
and evolution is the overall process through which It maintains this vital relation.

Owing to this struggle for life, any variation, however slight and from whatever cause proceeding, if it be in any degree profitable to an individual of any species, in its infinitely complex relations to other organic beings and to external nature, will tend to the preservation of that individual, and will generally be inherited by its offspring. The offspring, also, will thus have a better chance of surviving, for, of the many individuals of any species which are periodically born, but a small number can survive. I have called this principle, by which each slight variation, if useful, is preserved, by the term of Natural Selection, in order to mark its relation to man's power of selection.

Historians will have to face the fact that natural selection determined the evolution of cultures in the same manner as it did that of species.

You have to edit the material. That assumes that some kind of a mind is operating in relation to the material. Not all minds are the same. Every aspect of filmmaking requires choice. The selection of the subject, the shooting, editing and length are all aspects of choice.

Since natural selection requires a function to select, an irreducibly complex biological system, if there is such a thing, would have to arise as an integrated unit for natural selection to have anything to act on.

Animals can adapt to problems and make inventions, but often no faster than natural selection can do its work - the world acts as its own simulator in the case of natural selection.

In the most important sense a creationist is a person who believes in creation, and that includes people who believe that Genesis is a myth and that creation involved a process called evolution and consumed billions of years.

Acceptance Heals
Acceptance heals!
A willingness to just let go...
To be a part of a natural process,
Reveals an ability to face the truth...
For what it is and means.
Without the need,
Of foolish protective measures.
Some wish to stop to grow.
To direct with a decision...
To have things go their way.
Blocking the experience of a natural adventure.
As if the ticking of a clock,
Depends on a decision made.
Since time itself...
Is a creation of man.
And where man stands...
Has nothing to do,
With the evolution of nature.
And nature awaits...
Such dictates!
Acceptance heals!
A willingness to just let go...
To be a part of a natural process,
Reveals an ability to face the truth...
For what it is and means.
Without the need,
Of foolish protective measures.
And those foolish protective measures,
Keeps a wounded mind...
With no peace to find.
Acceptance heals.
Like one's faith,
Eliminates...
A stunted life that wastes away,
In anticipation to have a stubbornness validated.

Political ideological systems are based on conceptions of the natural life process. They may further or hinder the natural life process. They themselves, however, do not function at the roots of the social process. They may be democratic; in that case they further the natural human life process. They may be authoritarian and dictatorial; in that case they are its deadly enemy.

Conflicting Views On Who We Are
Who am I?
Science
A fortuitous concord of atoms are we
Appearing by chance and now you happen to be
You just evolved as evolution had its way
Such is mankind the modern scientists say
The Bible
Created by God and fashioned out of His love
With a designer label from the Lord above
Made in God's image is written for all to see
So fearfully and wonderfully made are we
What am I?
Science
You are composed of very complex chemistry
Another one of the mammals are you to me
A hominid formed by natural selection
made when evolution altered its direction
The Bible
You are a new creation we hear God say
Born again and no longer of earthly clay
A child of God cleansed and made anew
No more does Satan have any hold on you
Whose am I?
Science
You belong to no one and are all on your own
A member of the human race and all alone
Answerable only to yourself and society
And solely responsible for your destiny
The Bible
But The Almighty God says 'My child you are Mine
Made by Me and portraying My image divine
Moulded and fashioned by My tender, loving care
Part of My family and My kingdom you'll share'
Where am I?
Science
At the top of the evolutionary tree
On a planet in the Milky Way Galaxy
You will not always occupy that topmost space
As evolution continues to take its place
The Bible
'You are so precious and important to Me
So special that I gave My life to set you free
And Now You're walking along the heavenly way
On your journey home to Me', we hear our God say
The true humanist maintains a just balance between sympathy and selection.

Calm and quite
I am a tree
I am here to grow
In natural process.
I am a bird
I am here to fly
In natural process.
I am the sky
I am here to stay
Calm and quite.

Socially Entertaining
An election took place,
For a hand picked representation.
And those who went through,
The process of selection...
Knew without a doubt,
Their interests would be prioritized.
But what was done,
Was a selection of those...
Who represented 'image'.
And those surfaced pretentions,
Were those that won!
Now they conduct debates,
Trying to motivate an implementation...
Of those promises stated.
But those who made promises,
To represent image...
Are too incompetent to deliver,
An accountability...
That a socially entertaining personality,
Is hard pressed to comprehend.
And...
How what it is that they do,
Can be remotely associated with disappointment!
Since attending all high profiled parties to network,
Is exactly what they are qualified to accomplish.
A creation of a defeat had been done.
With a guarantee of it to fill the atmosphere.
But no one expected it to be theirs,
With an abundance of polluted air...
As a shared bonus for their successful efforts.

Process continues
All the eggs don’t hatch.
All the seeds don’t burst.
All the loves don’t spark.
Yet the process continues.
All the chicks don’t live.
All the sprouts don’t grow.
All the loves don’t bloom.
But the process continues.
Pest takes toll of the siblings.
Drought takes the toll of the seedlings.
Fate stalls many loves in making.
Still the process continues.
The process spurts the hope.
The process spurs the heart.
The process thrills the senses.
Evolution, thus, continues.

In Truth
what if salvation,
and evolution,
were the same process...
which we in our weaknesses have labeled...
but in truth,
the process of becoming human!
