Quatrain #177 - Do you ever get the impression that.........
Do you ever get the impression that you're just a puppet on a string
and the power that activates you can in a moment life or death bring.
We have all, at some stage of our lives, been controlled in a way by others;
pity to those who throughout life are controlled by their fathers and mothers.

This Is The Politics In My Country....
every one is fond
of puppets in a string,
one master puppeteer
throws mud to another master puppeteer
a watcher never likes
a puppet on a string
and wants to see the face
not of the prince puppet
but the manipulator of the
puppet behind a stage
in the dark,
no one likes to be a puppet,
but everyone here is a puppet
no one likes to be himself then
but everyone here is
themselves all puppets in a string
the king that you see there
has a puppeteer
the king who loves a queen
is not really the king but the puppeteer
i like not to be anyone's puppet
so you see
listen to me, it is really really bad
to simply be
a poet.

9 Lives
9 - 9 - 9 - 9 - 9 lives
This is the 90's and I need a lover with (9 lives)
With my bad self
(If I really) {sample repeats in song}
I.. I.. I.. I...
(9 lives)
Sing Stella
CHORUS:
If I really had 9 lives
I'd want a lover that controlled my mind
Someone who knows about the heavenly sin
How 2 kill with love again, again and again
When she calls me on the phone
She'll ask if I'm alone
Standin' at my door lookin' mega-fine
Heck-a-pump body sayin' good time
When all the others talk plenty of jive
My lover talks about 9 lives
The first 2 promise I'll die from the heat
Generated from the moment that our eyes meet
CHORUS
(With my bad self)
Life number 3 and number 4
Are spent makin' love on the magic floor
It's got no walls so all can see
The way real love is supposed 2 be
Don't be ashamed, my lover said
Then she says "Mmm, I betcha I'm mega-jammin'"
Life number 5, 6 and 7
Need U ask, go like heaven
CHORUS
(With my bad self)
(Control me)
With my bad self
If I really had 9 lives
I'd want a lover that controlled my mind
2 kill with love, we'd never die
We'd never long 4, we'd never cry
If we live 4 havin' each other's touch
It's never 2 little, it's never 2 much
Play
With my bad self
With my, with my bad self
If I really had, if I really had, if I really had 9 lives
This is the 90's
And everybody wants a lover
A life-long lover with 9 lives
(9 lives)
This is the 90's
(CHORUS) {repeat in BG}
Sing Stella
Call me up on the phone
I'll be here all alone
I'll be waitin' on U, baby
I'll be waitin' on U and your 9 lives!

It Lives
We are just but thought and pure energy.
That is all we are...
Living within an entity.
And the concept of God isn't a physical being at all.
It is a radiance of everything,
And we are the reflection upon this Earth...
It has installed.
This 'Ball' breathes, feeds, eats and sees.
It lives!
God chose it to make us like 'them'.
Those that live within and outside of us.
This...'Energy'
And that is why our consciousness of 'It'...
Has to be lifted!
And the more we harm 'it' and its wishes...
The more we harm 'ourselves'!
And God wants us to connect with IT!
It lives!
That's why it must be kept cherished.
That's why we must rise above our ignorance.
It lives.
None of us are going back...
To inhabitate Mars!
We are where we are to be what and who we are,
Here!
And it lives!
Not to be controlled or ruled by us!
But we are very much controlled by it...
As it commands!

The Stage
If the world is just a stage
and we're the actors in it,
why do the same ones get to play
the lead roles every minute?
For once I'd like to see a change
take place upon this stage
where the lead characters are the poor
stepping out of their cage.
Where all the minor roles would be given out
to all the power players
who've controlled this drama from the start
having never said their prayers.
And as the curtain rose each day
we would look and see
the poor and needy in front row seats,
the rulers in standing room only.
If this is just a stage we're on
and life is just a play,
then wouldn't it be ingenious
to see them all portray
us.

A Puppet On A String
A puppet on a string is all that you are,
And all that you ever will be
Your told what to hear and what to say
And you're even told what you can believe.
You are not free as you were once before
As you gave that and your dignity away
Now you are told where to go and what to wear
And you were even told to change your name.
Your watched and not trusted wherever you go
And you must ask permission to leave
And that is the life that you chose for yourself
Now for you there is only shame and pity.
You're a puppet on the string as that is you
Your puppeteer tells you how to act
He tells you what to cook and when to sleep
And when to bed him and how to react,
But what can you do, as you have nowhere to go
Everyone knows of your lying and your ways
Your own daughters are confused because of you
Now they will be like you in their own adult days.
You changed your hair and you changed your name
Because your master commanded you to
To make him happy is what you want to do best
But sadly this situation for you isn't new.
You're a puppet on the string that's all that I hear
Wherever you might go or what you might say
You walk in the footsteps your master placed for you
And you will walk them until your dying days.
Your strings are pulled and then you will walk
Your strings are pulled and then you will obey
Your strings are pulled and then you will answer
And that's how you will be from day unto day.
No truth or loyally does your master have for you
Not even a vow to GOD or a wedding ring
But you never expect or accepted them anyway
As all that you are, is but a puppet on a string.

Healing The Family Tree
for you to let me know
that i must pay for all that the family owed
from the past
the suffering souls of my great fathers
and fathers of my fathers
and their mothers
i am sorry but i was not the one
that committed the blunder
that is their business and mine is different
look at me
have i not suffered enough to deserve all these
genetic retaliations?
hold my hands
don't you feel that all these tremblings
in fear
are not enough to pay for their
misdeeds?
your paranoia is mine too.
but somehow, all these must be stopped.
the wombs of our mothers are tested with pain
one leg to life the other held by death
yet they walk this valley of death without question
they breathe your air without suspicion
they live the way they ought to
and they die
without much ado.

Life is not a small thing
Life changes from day to day
Life is flexible and life is a long journey
Life brings unexpected events as compared to the previous one's
Life consequences changes many lives to a new life and difficult life
Some people view life as a difficult aspect
Some thinks that life is a challenge to them
Some people feels that life is worthless
Some people thinks that life is controlled by money
Hard working always brings a good life
Being with your family brings a good life
money alone does not bring a good life
having a place to worship our Heavnly Father brings a good life
For one to survive in this world, one must be tolerate
One should be disciplened and give respect to everybody
One should be wise in this 'wise world'
One should be careful of harmful aspects of life
Life is not sweet but easy but some say it is hectic not harsh

Mr Puppet Man
Mr Puppet man lived in a van,
a very, very dirty van
where he drank wine
and he did dope, ol' Mr Puppet man
He liked a bit of a smoke he did
he liked a bit of a smoke
and he blew and blew and he blew
until he was cyanosed.
Mr Puppet man was sad
for all that he had was very bad
and the bad was getting him down, it was
and so he'd frown and frown.
Mr Puppet man, he died
with nobody there, I tell no lies
and no one to pull his chords of life
and bring him back from death
and they never even buried him,
just set the van on fire
and it burned and it burned and it burned, it did,
it burned all bloody night……
and when they found the ashes,
next day when all was done
there were no signs of Puppet man
and my tears, they put out the sun, they did,
and my tears, they put out the sun.

Emotions are confusing at times
as i'm going through emotions,
sometimes i can't seem to figure out,
which are from the past,
and which are in the moment,
i don't like to make decisions in the moment,
unless i really have to,
i hate feeling controlled,
it's the worse feeling in the moment,
but at the same time,
i get, being controlled,
and somebody caring deeply confused,
it's one of those feelings where,
people pretend to care,
so it hard trying to detangle,
the liars from the honest people,
most likely,
it's the people who was truthful,
who you start to question,
in the past,
i lost that trust,
how can you trust somebody,
that said they won't hurt you,
and turns out it was all lies,
it's hard to handle,
all you want to do as a child,
is to be good and believe what an adult tells you,
but when it all lies to get what they want,
that hurts the most,
my trust was broken more times than i can say,
i didn't really had a chance,
to even know what trust was,
it could be why my meaning of it,
is alot different than everybody else,
and they just can't understand,
why i am the way i am.

Please Dont Drag That String Around
(words & music by blackwell - scott)
You like to keep me dangling on a string
cause you know without you my life dont mean a thing
So I beg you
Please dont drag that string around, oh no
Well, what if it should break
Oh, tell me, what would I do then
Keep that string up off the ground
Oh, yeah, remember my heart is tied to the other end
Yes, Im your puppet, my heart is in your hand
One twist of the wrist and I jump to your command
So I beg you
Please dont drag that string around, oh no
Well, what if it should break
What would I do then
Baby, keep that string up off the ground
Oh, yeah, remember my heart is tied to the other end
I feel inside me, as sure as anything
One day Ill mean more to you than a puppet on a string
So I beg you
Please dont drag that string around, oh no
Well, what if it should break
Oh, tell me, what would I do then
Keep that string up off the ground
Oh, yeah, remember my heart is tied to the other end

Cheering What Has Been Defeated
Why are the people in the streets,
Cheering?
'They are cheering the news,
Recently learned...
That what they wanted to achieve,
Has been defeated! '
They are cheering that what they wanted,
Has been defeated?
'Yes!
And even though they have great admiration,
For their new leader...
And he has been an advocate for their cause,
He represents the government.
And they have been very vocal,
About having the government out of their lives.'
But...
What aspect of their lives,
Has not been controlled by the government?
'That's besides the point.
They have come to exercise their First Amendment Rights.'
Yeah...
But,
Aren't all of those 'amendments' government controlled?
And initiated?
'Hey...
What can I say?
I'm an outsider looking in just like you.
Even though everyone gathered at this rally,
Has throughout their lives been attached to the government...
They have become overwhelmed with joy,
That 'something'...
Whatever it was that had the support of 'this' president,
Would be defeated.
Even though it would have ultimately,
Benefitted all of their lives.'
That doesn't make too much sense.
In fact,
On the scale of 'stupidity'...
That sits right at the top!
'You know that.
I know that.
They however...
Haven't a clue! '
Where is their beloved leader now?
'He's the one standing alone,
Leaning against that fence over there...
Chain smoking! '

The Dance Of Life (3)
the dance of life
is not loneliness
it is meant to be shared
in a circle of friends
two for a tango
three can be a boogie
five or more
in a disco
shouts for joy
energy overflowing
like a waterfall
the dance of life
the ecstasy
the bliss of everyday
the joys of the many
the dance of life
children merry on the playground
mothers watching
and fathers working with so much
awe and inspirations
the dance of life
grandpas holding hands with grandmas
strolling on the beach
the dance of life
sunshine early morning on the grass
moonlight and stars on top of the roof
sipping coffee
reading a book of poems
the dance of life
stopping in a moment and then
contemplating on an end
somehow there is this stopping for a moment
silence
and then returning to the power of fireworks
friends giggling
over an interesting love affair
the dance of life
with you.

Family of War
Every morning I awake I fall to my knees and pray.
God, please make the war in Iraq come to end.
There are too many fathers and sons come home
in pine boxes. There are too many mothers and daughters
doing the same. Leaving behind fathers and sons mothers
and daughter with a last memory of them waving goodbye.
There is too much blood and tears of fathers and sons mothers
and daughters being shed all in the name of peace.
God please let our leaders see how many families are dying
and that war can never bring peace. Only love can.
This prayer is my gun and God you’re the bullet I’m shooting
to end this Family of War.
Breeze On Face
I tried to catch blowing wind
Only to find wetness of some kind
Some helplessness stage to feel internally
Some of the worry lines running externally
It is stage of anxiety with uncertainty
Some of the mysterious stages put by almighty
More we try to solve and think
Deeper we slide in and sink
I feel touch of cool breeze on the face
But she is no where near with any of the trace
I feel she is some where around
Nature to deceive me on the beautiful ground
Fragrance is spreading across the layer
I am the only one in vicinity as player
I think of her and sink in the deep thoughts
With nothing new in mind to be brought
God has done this only as right thing
Even cruel animal can be controlled in the ring
Human being has always remained love hungry
In absence of it life becomes dull and solitary
Dreams to some extent come to the rescue
You float with lots of happiness with over views
You feel and see the self as mightier man of the universe
Only to be let down in morning with tease or curse
It is not at all failure but separation
That makes you suspicious of relation
You want her to be adored in your arm
Seek the love and feel the immense charm
It is simple way of expression
Sometimes to suffer under the aegis of obsession
Ups and down take pulse away from controlled rhythm
To seek the company without wasting a moment or time
Never miss a nature even if it is man made
It is closeness of bond and not a trade
You may be puzzled but not written off
Love is knocking the door to make you laugh

Goodbye Puppet Lady
Goodbye Puppet Lady, though they never knew you at all,
You told your Krendoll stories while toddlers at Barnes & Noble
crawled.
You walked out on to the Improv stage they whispered into your brain
Hemp named you Puppet Lady, but Razel puppet got in the way.
And it seems you lived your life like UniCandle unicorn’s flame in the
wind
Never knowing who to cling to when Razel’s ice spell set in.
Puppet Lady Fame was tough
The toughest role you ever played but Lake Worth created a Superstar
Just ask good friend Jim sitting at Ray’s back table.
And I would of like to have known you
But you far and away your candles still burn brightly
With UniCandle unicorn’s magical flame.
Goodbye Puppet Lady
Your more than our Puppet Lady, and Your much more than Razel,
And your doll Melodie Mezoree’.
GOODBYE PUPPET
LADY
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a puppet with no strings with no parachute to catch you
When the Rum Shack stage fell in.
Goodbye Puppet Lady
From the old man in the 3rd row Thank you for the memories
At Ray’s, South Shores and Rumshack comedy show.
And I would have liked to have known you…
But you were far and away Your candles still burn brightly
Because will still have Razel and Melodie Mezoree’

Life or Death
Death is a mystery,
and life is Suspense.
The journey to death,
is unknown yet,
and Life is a dream stage.
Nobody has come back
From their death,
And life seems to be,
Chasing an invisible end.
Escape from death,
is impossible,
and so from Life.
Death is most painful,
Life is even more.
Death is frightful,
And Life is a puzzle.
So is life,
or Death,
better for a human fate?

The Power to Touch Lives
Do you
have
the power
to
touch lives?
Are you defeated
in
every second
of
every hour?
Is your heart withholding the keys
to put many out of their miseries?
Were you created to make somebody see
what their purpose in life is suppose to be?
Were you put down here to be of some help
to uplift when others can't do it for themselves?
Have you answered your calling,
which was to keep others from falling?
Do you have any power?
Is your power distorted in some way?
Are you destroying souls
by
what you do
and
what you say?
Is the power
of
Life and Death
within
your tongue?
Then tell me
why do you choose
to
use it like
a gun?
Do you have the power
to
enlighten others,
who just might
be
a sister or a brother
of
another color?
Were you
created
to be
a blessing?
So until this time,
you would've
still been
guessing
Please let me know
when you will believe,
that
you have the power,
to help those in need
You have the power
to encourage
someone to succeed
So Yes,
You have,
the
'Power to Touch Lives'
If I've said it once,
now
I've said it twice
