Abstrosophy
If echoes from the fitful past
Could rise to mental view,
Would all their fancied radiance last
Or would some odors from the blast,
Untouched by Time, accrue?
Is present pain a future bliss,
Or is it something worse?
For instance, take a case like this:
Is fancied kick a real kiss,
Or rather the reverse?
Is plenitude of passion palled
By poverty of scorn?
Does Fiction mend where Fact has mauled?
Has Death its wisest victims called
When idiots are born?

In_Time_Mate Or In_Time_I_Date Sting [H]Alter-Wring Or Sing Altar Ring? After Gellet Burgess Abstrophy
'Forever' seems an attitude -
whenever iover-stated -
fantastical as fervent mood
through which it is created.
Sweet dreams evolve as covert feud
quite unanticipated
when he or she, or both, prim, prude,
fast, loose, find faith inflated
when practicalities intrude
on idyll time-outdated.
Familiarity, once wooed
contempt breeds, dissipated
when lovey-dovey interlude's
perceived plot perpetrated
on pipe-dream theme somewhat askewed
when truth is estimated.
Is passion palled by plenitude,
or, consecrated, sated?
castrated by its magnitude,
once baited is abated?
Is passion passing interlude
its pride of place vacated
when self by self is too imbued -
in_time_mate intim_I_dated,
passion pursuant to pursued
with chaste and chased related,
missel_toe issue tissue wooed?
bourgeois romance out-dated?
Is love cavorting in the nude
tryst trophy team instated,
with double assets well accrued
pendant physicians placated?
Or is it just lust for bust crude
between divorce created
by cheesy lawyers out for feud
too well remunerated,
communication mis-construed,
excuse pre-fabricated?
Is family sollicitude
ideal deal which rich waited?
Is love submissive servitude
to idyll over-rated
triple A by Moody's in the Mood,
Fitch, Standard Poor downrated?
or self through wealth from shelf rescued
by bright knight silver plated.
Is true romance a tale well cued
from fact, or fiction weighted,
ideal two feel that ne'er unglued
becomes prevaricated?
Is self-protective platitude
romance and all related?
Can entente hand in glove allude
to kith, kin, karmic fated?
Is XY XY turpitude
when XX feels deflated
or need to feed seed's needs construed
as sharing pairing baited
by reproductive fair game food,
seeds generations bated?
Track records rarely all include,
beware, life's dice are weighted!
Is prime mate musing magic trick,
or sleight of wishful thinking
which senses sweeps in augenblick,
then changes course a-winking?
Is lovelorn candle, life's trimmed wick,
in time's rhyme ego linking?
fidelity through thin and thick?
complicity gone kinking?
Are all emotions fiery flick
or blatant double-thinking
returned to loved-one double quick,
upon reflection sinking?
Is lust light uncontested beam,
star-studded, scintillated,
or shared commitment as a team
regularly restated?
Are passion plays part of heart's scheme
[t]win-win anticipated
to foster further fondness, gleam
fantastically fated
as variations on a theme
confirm the term related?
Or should one, wary of extreme,
prepare for fall check-mated?
Is passion part of heaven's game
Chance challenging unshrinking,
deflecting Fate from some false aim,
from former flame unthinking?
Is passion love, love passion tame,
or echo self-hoodwinking?
Truss channelled through trust karmic chain
or opportunist skinking
twinned souls sole, self-centered claim
staked counter Fate moves inking?
or shameless counterfeit quitclaim?
on blameless vestal pinking?
Can passion rhyme with peaches, cream,
through humdrum soar elated
to reach peak plateau, stay supreme,
joy never dissipated?
Or must Time take its toll, lose steam,
as tears evaporated?
Is troth plight tsunami torrent stream
wave pupils wide dilated
or self-delusion's mirage dream,
peer pressure instigated?
Love, hate, hate, love, chase interlude
between haste chaste created
to fill the void both gal and dude
avoid, lose/lose deflated.
Yet can love live, forgive, when crewed
by team at odds, unsated?
Base too unstable to be viewed
as else but dissipated,
time no prime rhyme can ease, bestrewed
confetti falsely fêted.
Corps core intact, authentic feud
maintains 'gainst hate and hated.
Should devil dance, dare to intrude
between twinned karmas fated,
and counterfeit love reconstrued
two-timing triplicated
then authenticity's tease cued
by motives manipulated
and all proves vain - no gain, pain brewed -
pawns challenged, chest check-mated.
Quantum entanglements delude
all who love/hate equated
no 'opposites' each must preclude
the other re-instated.
IS Love? if 'tis, if tisn't, what's the use?
Grounds hidebound logic lists sound vain, abstruse!

0984..... LIVE in the PRESENT
Past and Future Are Mental Constructs
LIVING in the NOW is MEDITATION
THE POWER is always in THE “NOW”
MOST DIFFICULT is to LIVE IN THE PRESENT
Mind likes illusions for Living in Past and Future is Illusion
TVs, Cinemas, Day Dreaming push you out of NOW
Boozing, Drugging, Philandering kick you out of NOW
Learn to live in THE NOW, For NOW only is REAL.
Our Mind is Always Caught up in PAST or FUTURE
Living in the PRESENT is CONQUERING the SELF
“Now” is only REAL for 'Now' only EXISTS
Alas! Many Poets always Live in PAST or FUTURE!

The Secret of Time and its Passage
Memory defeats passage of time
Hurts and pains enliven passed times and events
In the form of aches, and rarely are enlivened pleasant experiences had;
Anxiety, fear, apprehension constitute the future;
Past and future are thought forms
In the present continuous,
Arising out of earlier experiences,
And doubts and imaginations about the imminent,
Are mere mental projections
In the present;
The present continuously changes
Every one tenth of a second
As a pulse series of awareness
Replacing past dissolving into future;
Events took place and the ones we imagine may happen
Respectively create memory,
And doubts, fears and expectations;
Thus the egoistic mind drawing us into the past or future
And seldom allowing us to live in the present
And enjoy current bliss, peace and silence
Creating whirlpool of time and its passage
Never lets us transcend the notion of time
And its passage;
But the reality is,
Present continuous being
One-tenth of a second,
The past over and the future yet to dawn;
Realization of this secret of
Passage of time, past, present and future
As mere thought forms in the present,
Sets in us peace, bliss and quietude
And we face life cheerfully
Transcending mental suggestions
And enjoy the present in calmness,
Peace, bliss, silence, in unoccupied awareness
As contented and content-free state of mind

Sonnet XLVII: To Fancy
Thee, Queen of Shadows! -- shall I still invoke,
Still love the scenes thy sportive pencil drew,
When on mine eyes the early radiance broke
Which shew'd the beauteous rather than the true!
Alas! long since those glowing tints are dead,
And now 'tis thine in darkest hues to dress
The spot where pale Experience hangs her head
O'er the sad grave of murder'd Happiness!
Thro' thy false medium, then, no longer view'd,
May fancied pain and fancied pleasure fly,
And I, as from me all thy dreams depart,
Be to my wayward destiny subdued:
Nor seek perfection with a poet's eye,
Nor suffer anguish with a poet's heart!

The Smell
Poverty exudes odors
Desperation takes on hues
Uncertainty loudly clamours
Homeless move about
In a cacophony of sound
Illness of the street people
Odors abound
Fear of future flattens
Death of innocence cries loud
Odors of the madness
Smell of poverty abounds
Senses acutely caressing
Filth of necessities sins
Odors changing futures
Individuals meld in sound
Poverty exudes odors
Ignorance carries loud
Smell of desperation
No matter the flattened feelings
Horror of distorted senses
Keeps the homeless
In storms
Odors abound

Dimension Merge
For us the past has gone and the present moves on
into the yesterday of a future’s present time.
Despite living in the future’s past this will not last,
present and future will very soon combine.
Future or dimension, to some a misapprehension,
but they are one in the same.
If there’s more than one, they will follow on
to leave one, with it’s present name.
On merging we’ll realise we’ve no future to recognise,
and the past and present is all we’ll know.
The past will still be renewed, with each day used,
but the future will mean only tomorrow.

Time and Experience
I found the past in my present
I built the future on my past
I found the gift of today
When I thought about what
The future has to offer
Where is the wisdom in experience
If there is no folly in wisdom
What's the real meaning of death
If our spirits live forever
Times never change
But circumstances do
I'll let mystery play with the future
Surprises couple with the present
And experience mourn the past
Because sun always rises from the east
And each day always comes to an end
Experience is not chained to wisdom
Nor is folly tied to bad results
But to the circumstances that burden
Our past, present and future because
Time is always anxious for the future
Experience loves the present
And wisdom never divorces the past

Constant Time
Time past and the future give way to this present picture,
But can somebody tell me how to recognize that gate that leads to the bed of roses,
We speak about the future like the past is a grain of sand on the shore,
Washed away by the ocean tide,
Giving way to new grains to make a portrait of the present,
These past memories stay deep in our heart like the depths of the ocean,
Though it gets washed back to shore ones in a blue moon,
Reminding us that our past is a standard measurement of our strength,
Time moves so fast making the past to fade away,
this makes us seem so secured about the present,
Forgetting the fact that our present becomes our past that was once a present from nature as a new day,
Some take the future to be a dream and a wish,
But I take my future to be what I see when I stand from the bottom of the mountain to look at the top,
And my past to be the depth of the ocean that can always be washed ashore …
The only thing I can control is my present,
Yes cos my mind controls my hands to give you a flash of what goes on in my head
Like this words i write to you was once my future and will become my past, making my future my past and my past my future..So ironical isn’t it?
Standing here I sure know 1 thing,
I will reach the top by that foot path,
Yes of course it’s not to mean that I wouldn’t fall,
But I have to break myself off my present past and walk with grace to stand where I belong,
There where I am the king of my destiny,
The past is just going to be a page of memories,
And my future will become my present making time constant in my head,
Because I stand on my past which was once my present and my present which was once my future, making time equal and constant
As I flip thru this page of life,

Death Is Death, Dissolution Of All
All over this mammoth Earth,
There is nothing like death;
All over this mammoth Earth,
Nothing escapes death
Except that strange death itself.
What is this death,
Perchance, death itself knows not;
Whence it springs,
Where are its wings,
Fancied none in these million years.
It’s the live black hole
In dance along the time’s scale;
Nothing escapes its rapacious field
And nothing ever breaks out of its shield,
Death is death, dissolution of all.
Is death a beginning, none ever ever knows,
No mysteries as mysterious as death ever is;
No light or shade nor talent prised it,
No voyages ever came back out of its womb,
Nor light-years ever scaled the depth of death.
Death brings down all to the Nature’s womb,
To the Natures pristine pure form;
No rise or fall nor glory or shame,
‘Neath the mysterious death, all are same;
Indeed, the supreme equalizer is death.
Death is true peace, death is ultimate pain,
Death is finding peace in the folds of pain;
Death robs light and spreads dark night
And numbs soul to the inevitable truth, that
Born out of night, but we are part of that night.

Present
Bury the Past
Forget the Future
Think about the Present
Be alert and cautious in the present
Do not regret about the past
Or worry about the future
Past is gone
Future is unknown
Present is what you have today
So utilise it to the fullest extent
Its your life's biggest asset
That will fetch you great dividends
Realize that this is a gift given to you by God
That's why it is called as "PRESENT"

You Can Have the Future
You Can Have the Future
by Alex Lewis
The present is malicious.
difficulty=delicious
We will to Hell be sent
If this is only the present.
What is the future if this is present?
Peace must have come and went.
Why should mankind advance?
He started on his last chance.
The present is so bad
That the years just add and Add.
In the future, what will become?
We cannot reverse what is done.
You can have the future.
You can have the future.
Take it far away.
It'll last a day.
Never let me see it again.
wHAT, wHERE, wHEN.
You can have the future.

I see Time Flying By
Standing on a hill of misery,
I see time flying by
A time which once was
of hope and of bliss
I see time flying by
Static amid torment
of whizzing time,
I bow to amass fragments
of a future so fancied
I see time flying by.
Agonizing motion of time
bereaving me of space
nudging me into a deep
naked singularity
I see time flying by.
Waiting for deliverance
none in sight,
I grapple with the darkness
only to sink deeper
I see time flyingy by.

Reality Ring
'With this ring
I do thee wed'
the preacher said;
and all I could think of
was how beautiful
the pictures would be
and the stories I would have
for my guy friends.
and those
future memories;
and did not hear
clearly
the call for the ring,
I was not present
in that moment
to feel.
So it was with me and
many of us
being anywhere
but where we are;
any time but present time
any place
but this space.
Always outside our time;
and what is real is only
what can be purchased
bought
or experienced
in the future
or the past.
So I am still guessing
what is real?

The Path Of Time
Whether of present or past
Or future if you please
The time that you portray
Moves only for yourself
Some choose to live in the past
Lost hopes and dreams they share
But time only last
Until they release the burden they bear
Some choose to live in the present
And behold the sights of each day
A balance of decisions for 10 second frames
And everything always seems fair
Some people look towards the future
To see long term effects unfold
However long it takes to get there
They keep persisting towards their goal
I chose to live in the present
Ignore the past and future presence
And live life like I will not see the next day
And still not have to care
But if I provide an example
For past, present, or future
My path is still my own
And moves only for myself

At Peace
You've moved on to find another,
My love for you, you did smother,
I gave you all I had to offer,
But all you did was make me suffer,
I'm sorry that I wasn't your dream man,
I would of done anything for you, just give me a hand,
Once what was two lovers, now just friends,
My heart it still takes time to mend,
My love is all that I sent,
True love.. I thought that was what it meant.
I'm sorry for wasting all your time,
I just wish that you were once again mine,
But that was all in the past,
We sure did have a blast,
But now it is gone,
My heart is again scorn.
The pain too much to ignore,
My head, my soul, are sore,
I wish it away,
I just need you to say,
That it wasn't just a test,
That your not just a mess.
I wish you to be happy,
And I don't mean to be sappy,
But I hope you move on with life,
I hope that other boys don't cause you too much strife,
Because i have let you go,
I no longer need you so :)
The flowers you sent,
The words that you supposedly meant,
They no longer are here,
Your future I can tell is quite near,

Kiss The Future
Forgiveness and mercy. in short supply. so lonely, so
Faithful. no reason why. in my mind at this time. just clear
Blue sky. your story just starting. now learn to fly.
It takes a miracle to make you see. my consciousness
Exploded.
Your past life. dont suit you. take my hand. kiss the future.
Let fortune. uproot you. take my hand. kiss the future.
No time now for sorrow. meet life full-blast. lets take on
Tomorrow. forget the past.
It takes a miracle to make you see. my consciousness
Exploded.
Your past life. dont suit you. take my hand. kiss the future.
Let fortune. uproot you. take my hand. kiss the future.
It takes a miracle to make you see. my consciousness
Exploded.
Your past life. dont suit you. take my hand. kiss the future.
Let fortune. uproot you. take my hand. kiss the future.
This is what you came here for. stop the engine slam the
Door. leave that lonesome corridor.
Take the plunge and wipe the slate. smile your smile -
Youre feeling great. soon youre going to celebrate.
Time has gone to hesitate. nothing now can make you
Wait. take control of your own fate.
Take tomorrow in your hand. make the others understand.
One break you must demand.
Your past life. dont suit you. take my hand. kiss the future.
Let fortune. uproot you. take my hand. kiss the future.

Your Ascent
How many times you’ve fallen means nothing.
It’s how many times you got up that make the difference.
Your climb toward life’s summit will suffer falls if you’ve charted a high enough course.
Each fall only makes your ascent sweeter if you arise wiser and continue.
Plan your next step rather than fearing your next fall.
If you start with fear, you have already fallen even before taking your next step.
During your ascent, you will rise and fall like the sea.
As the falls rise take care; as the rises fall take heart.
Beware of a slide masquerading as smooth ride.
As the tempo quickens, remember a fall is fast, an ascent slow.
Look ahead with your eyes and behind with your memory.
While ascending don’t let your vision be blurred by your memory.
Remember the past only as it can relate to your present and future.
The past without reference is nothing, but the past with only remorse is worse than nothing.
See the present for what it is rather than should have been.
Live the present before it is the past while planning for the future before it is the present.
During your ascent think quickly, but deliberately.
What you have put behind will gain on you if you don’t keep moving ahead.
Keep your mind on the summit, your eyes on the ascent and your foot on the very next step.

Past-Present-Future
They spend no time together
Yet they're relatively linked
These three birds of a feather
Who march through time in sync
Present is right now
Past is just before it
Future rightly vows
Nothing will detour it
The past flies by too fast
It's movement so incessant
And with a final gasp
Bestows on us the present
The past is understood
When at present we look back
Most memories are good
But some do sadly lack
For the time that's yet to be
The future, as it's known
Let's prepare it present-ly
With good memories all it's own

Never Think Of Past
Never think of past
That might have ended fast
Think of present where everything is absent
You are with your strong body and present
Work for stable future
That may make your side secured
Work hard towards goal and make it sure
Nothing will go wrong and it will reassured
To think of past may be just suicide
The difference remains very wide
The past might be sweet or dark
Yet one must cautiously embark
Past must be kept in mind but for reference
Just to compare with it and take chance
To improve the present at the same time take lessons of the past
Never to look back with pain and confidently last
Past may always remind you of poverty
How were you in those days and feeling very sorry?
How were the pitiful days spent with worry?
Now left with no choice but to go ahead with mission to carry
Some of the strong steps are needed
Some drawback has to be accepted
Yet it should not mar your will power with strong resolve
Self effort with dedication and aim to solve
Leave behind everything and think of glorious tomorrow
Live in present, steer your course and allow
That shall never allow you to go slow
As you were coming with high sprit while lying low

A Time Machine Mind!
Human mind, dreams, vision and imagination
Can transport one forward and backward in time.
Mind is the time machine to go to past and future
But time never goes backward but only forward;
Also, time never goes in circle but only straight!
Recollection of past is possible in the present;
Visualization of future is possible in the present;
But one cannot go to the past or future ever now!
Hour glass can show the time like clock of today
But it cannot bring back the past to reality now
Or bring to our vision the future of world now!
Mind is the time machine that can read history;
Mind is the same machine to see the future too;
But time never goes to the past but only to future!
