Well, It Worked For Me
First thing I say each night
is
I am my own Lover;
my own best friend.
At first it was words
I did not mean
but over time
I could fill in detail
from little things
that happened each day.
Something positive to celebrate
no matter how small
a smile
a thing small but done

given and received.
Busy, I was
saying to my self
