Page of my History

Some laughs some tears
This is it, its what we feared

We are going our separate ways
Things getting easier by the days

You’re now a page of my history

Many days of adventure and fun
But we both know we aren’t the one

The pain eases so very slow
But it’s for the best and we know it

You’re now a page of my history

The not knowing is the mystery
But us being together is history

We will get over the misery
Even though I miss yee

You’re now a page of my history

We gave it our best shot
But it was a game we lost

Our love is lost but never gone
We will find a place to keep it safe

You’re now a page of my history

Book Of Days

Your life is as a book
Written on the pages are the weeks
For you would give anything to take just one look
Into the next chapter, the next page

Each page is a new thought, a new dream
Sometimes it takes so long to pass that page
And sometimes nothing is as it seams
For you know you can not go ahead or back

You know you are where you are
You know you can't change that
As you read page to page, so near to fear
You write the chapters as you go, with each turn

Each turn, each move changes what's to come
And you know each moment could be the last
With this in mind you go so mumb
So numb to the touch, to the thought

You turn page after page
until you reach the 'end'
And only then, you are freed from the title
The title that has kept your thoughts bound, and tight

You turn the pages one by one
You take the pain, take the joy
Until you are done
And your story becomes another on the shelf of eternity

Shadows on the Water

Water stretched out before me. A lake of crystals, filled
with overlapping rocks along the bottom. A few jutted out.
One could only guess what lay beneath them, but I did not worry
about what was below me. I did not worry about the Unknown,
for how could I worry about what I did not know was there?
Instead, I worried about the shadows that I cast,
the picture of me that was not me that covered up the world.

I leaped into the water, but my shadow followed me.
I am never alone.
Anywhere I go, I have my mark with me; the mark of darkness.
The mark that everyone has. Like a signature.
A signature that is always there and can be copied with ease.

The sun set as the moon rose. My shadow became less
prominent, and yet it was always there, following me.

In the next year or so, my signature will appear on 60 billion of United States currency. More important to me, however, is the signature that appears on my life-the strong, proud, assertive handwriting of a loving father and mother.

The Rest Is History

Saw you across the room
Felt somethin stir inside my soul
Knew Id never be the same
Now that love had taken hold
Then when you touched me
There was no doubt
You unterstood what my heart was all about
And the rest is history
The story of you and me
For all eternity
The record will show
Well fill up the pages
Romance for the ages
There for the world to see
The rest ist history
Before we spoke a word
My heart told me you were the one
When you pressed your hand to mine
I knew my life had just begun
Like some old movie
Music filled the night
Lost held each other tight.
And the rest is history
The story of you and me
For all eternity
The record will show
Well fill up the pages
Romance for the ages
There for the world to see
The rest ist history
And the rest is history
The story of you and me
For all eternity
The record will show
Well fill up the pages
Romance for the ages
There for the world to see
The rest ist history
History ...
The rest is history.
The rest is history.

Stars Dont Know My Fate

Tonight I make history
and one day history will find me
and haunt me...even write me
in the pages of immortality
and will never be forgotten
as the wind.

Tonight I face history
and one day history will face me
and mock me...even write me
in the pages of uncertainties
but will never be forgotten
as the wind.

Tonight- I end my life...
I change my history, I make my destiny
for stars don't know my fate.
And one day, maybe one day
this night would be forgotten,
carried by the wind.

Nothing For Nothing

Plagiarism is
an inappropriate appropriation.
Signature plastered page
lays claim to sealed sentences.
Creativity is minor mind merge
between creator and creator.

Stolen is nothing
gleamed of unaccessed
cosmic consciousness.
Forger fakes nothing
except unacknowledged played
out spent claim.

Pioneer moves
mountainous mother-load
staking unknown
unrecorded name.
Stolen spent spatial memories
maketh not mesmerizing mind.

Black History Month

In January...
There they are making history.
In February...
There they are making history.
In March...
There they are making history.
In April...
There they are making history.
In May...
There they are making history.
In June...
There they are making history.
In July...
There they are making history.
In August...
There they are making history.
In September...
There they are making history.
In October...
There they are making history.
In November...
There they are making history.
In December...
There they are making history.

But...
It's nice to know
The shortest month of the year
Was chosen to celebrate
The great deeds of African-Americans!
However...
It is those LEAP YEARS,
That really have the blacks jumping for joy!

History why do we care

History
a famous person dies
History
a war rages
History
a new invention
History
a building opens
History
what happens if something happens to me
is that history?
no....
So why do we care.....

Mr. protection

I am the face of misery

I am the cause of sympathy

I will erase all your memories
Cause I am history

I am the history of slavery

I am the history for Germany

I am the one with no mercy

I am at the mercy of starvation
Fighting my reincarnation

I carry out my annihilation
I strike back with no hesitation

While imitating the wrath of intimidation
I plan out my assassination.

Thanks giving

Before it is too late,
Let me affix my signature
To the declaration of gratitude
For all the men I’ve benefited from,
All the women I’ve shared my love with,
All the lines I’ve read with interest,
All the words I’ve heard with eagerness,
All the things I’ve seen with curiosity,
And all the thoughts I’ve marveled at.

Before it is too late,
Let me affix my signature
To the declaration of gratefulness
For my ancestors whose product I am,
My progeny who made my life purposeful,
All things which were hunted for my prey,
All the air and water that kept me alive
And more than all that were expressed,
For the fate to have let me live so far.

As I am not fated to be
Present in my farewell
That the world is soon to host,
I leave this thanks giving address.

Carl Sandburg

History is a living horse laughing at a wooden horse. History is a wind blowing where it listeth. History is no sure thing to bet on. History is a box of tricks with a lost key. History is a labyrinth of doors with sliding panels, a book of ciphers with the code in a cave of the Saragossa sea. History says, if it pleases, Excuse me, I beg your pardon, it will never happen again if I can help it.

Written In Red!

Pages of history of man kind
Are written red,

Those who thought their blood,
As blue as sky or as blue as deep ocean,
Wrote the pages in Red and every page is full of bloodshed!

Hungry people weep for even glass of water,
And even for that they had blood to shed,

Innocent plants or innocent grass die,
When two elephants fight for supremacy!
They never care how many innocent may die!

Great heroes are made on the number of men they despatch to hell,
Saying patriots have heaven in their fight!

They are heroes like matadors at the cost of blood of an innocent bull!
Otherwise they are as you and me except that cruelty,

Men the made several men to shed blood, in the name of woman,
May it be sita, may it be Padmini
Or may be Helen of Troy,

All men were treated like toys
By a that a few mad boys,
To have their woman back,
Or defend their action,

All religions have their history written in red,
May it be books that are from God,
Stained with red, God signed it with blood,
Put the rubber stamp of quality with bone and flesh,

Every nation is having its own fountain of blood shed!
power hungry need only to shed crocodile tears,

Or just present awards and reward,
Those who safeguard
and died to save them!

May it be Ashoka, may it be Idi Ameen
or may be Churchil, or may be Gandhi,
Or may Lincoln or Changez Khan
Only they were famous due blood shed!

May it be history of continent or that sub continent
Only a story written in blood, On human skin and with bones as pens!
May it be any ' -ism ' or may
Politics in spain or Britain,

Equally dangerous are these..
Power or woman,
Ambition or nation,
Whether terrorist or counter terrorist venture

Police or politician,
Every history of massive wealth,
Or a piece of land
Religion or culture, blood is That red ink with pages of history is written only in red!

The History Teacher

Woman!

Where exactly
Did you put me
In the women's history?

Am I History?
Or a part of it?

And for how long you are lacking me in;
Between
Your History,
Women's History, and
Your archives?

Does time make sense to you
As a History teacher or
As a History professor?

Cause', History, buying time, and rejuvenation
Are for emperors.

Are you making me
An emperor?

Or a Faeroe?
If so,
How precise your are?

And if you can't feel my present presence
how possibility could you feel me through your archives?

The History Of You And Me

Everytime you think of me.
Write it all down in your diary.
And never forget you were mine.

'Cause you can write a book about love.
And you can write a book about history.
The history of you and me..

On every page that you write.
Move your pen, with those old memories of me.
Holding me in your arms.

'Cause you can write a book about love.
And you can write a book about history.
The history of you and me..

Try not to miss a word.
Don't miss a single word, about those old romantic nights.
The nights you spent with me.

'Cause you can write a book about love.
And you can write a book about history.
The history of you and me..

Yaahh! The history of you and me....

Rock Carvings, Sydney

Some days I pass the handiwork of tribes, that tribe that’s gone,
Why make their loss
speak for us or me, the nation’s patchwork
constitution?

Why make of their defeat
the lyric lie you call preamble

which says we mean to keep it:
conception’s rock, whale and one stone calf,
two intersected outlines,
just-born palimpsest lucid as newborn skin,
large enough for two to lie inside?

They answer no one back
in that text they had to read
of sky, beach, cliff, and ledge,
land’s fractured page, countersigned as real-estate.
No man owns it say the men who do.

So each sunny day’s pay back time
when I pass their way. I thought
I’d leave brief signature, break
the surface of their mineral breath,

and make it gift or recompense –
my strange error, that code
of vast polluted clouds that murmur
‘History is all before, and all before
was this: a scrolling law
of rescored lines, gillflap, flipper, whale’s eye,
the Empire coin re-scores.
The first book went soft in water
now it’s hard as glass,
final contract when the love is gone
and hardly touches you.’
