Today... 'The Door
Where do we mortals find that narrow heavenly Door?
Through which millions of sinners have entered before?
It is found at the cross where Jesus was crucified
There for You paid for our sins, laid down Your life and died
With Your arms outstretched so wide and saying, 'Come to me'
For we find forgiveness by Your death at Calvary
And we see the Door before us swinging open wide
Allowing us to pass through the veil to heavens side
At the cross the veil in the temple was rent in two
We can still hear You calling sinners to come to You
For the door into heaven has been flung open wide
'Come to me you weary, ' we hear as we go inside
Calvary's cross is the Door through which man can go through
And there is no other way only this door will do
For You are the Way by which we must enter heaven
It is at the cross we must come to be forgiven
Then as we look behind us on the lintel we see
'Chosen before the foundation of the world in Me'
Though millions have come yet there is still room for more
God by His Grace has allowed us to enter the Door
So come to that Door for it is opened wide for you
And taste the glories of heaven as you enter through
The cry goes out 'whosoever will may enter in'
It is at the Cross where your journey has to begin
All who enter the door shall be safely kept inside
There forever with the Lord Jesus they all shall abide
Each one was chosen by God before the world began
Included by His grace as part of salvations plan

Written after reading John 10: 7-10
When One Door Closes
When one door closes,
Another comes along to be opened.
Do not become upset with regret,
As the slow pace of the waiting...
Seems to have forgotten you.
Moving with anticipation...
Cures this stagnation of one's thoughts.
And before you know it...
That door of opportunity,
Doesn't require a knock.
It is already opened!
And the gifts that are there...
Are much greater,
Than perceived.
When one door closes,
Another comes along to be opened.
However...
In some cases,
All that has to be done...
Is to walk in to let it be known,
You have arrived to accept your blessings!
And only then does it become realized...
Your low and no more money days are gone!
Something with abundance has come to fulfill,
All your needs succeeding those of limitation.
And it is clear what and 'who' this 'Deity' is!
And...
Once again you are lifted!
Feeling a forgiveness that frees!

I Thank You Once More
My Lord, I thank You once more, for every open and closed door,
As I am led through this life, by my Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ,
All those doors in life closed to me, avoiding what I could not see,
And opening doors I didn’t pursue, doors you had led me through.
Knowing those things, I do not know, you led me in the way to go,
Mindful of your Purpose and Plan, You overrule the ideals of man,
With your plan always for my best, whether a trial or a time of rest,
As Your Peace fills me all the way, while you guide me day to day.
Lord, I also lift thanks to You, not only for the past, but future too,
For the confidence in my heart, as from my side You won’t depart;
Paving a way ahead for me; as you ready my heart for what will be,
While Your Presence and Peace, which fills my life does not cease.
Most of all, my God I thank You for, Jesus Christ, salvation’s door,
A Door that’s been opened for all, saving all men from Adam’s fall,
Opened for all at Calvary’s Cross, to cleanse all our sins and dross,
Through the Precious Blood of Christ, so we may enter Eternal Life.
Lord, I thank You for that final door, to live with Christ forevermore,
A place in Heaven I’m assured; this by the blood of Christ my Lord,
And that soon, this sinful mortal, will pass through Heaven’s Portal,
To enter the place prepared for me, not just for a time, but eternally.

Heaven's Little Angels
Through the innocence of children at play. . .
Smile down heaven's little angels to show them the way.
Watching and caring for them from above,
Always keeping them in God's love. Every little whisper, every little tip tap toe,
Is heard by heaven's little angels never too close the door. To enter God's Kingdom of heaven we must be,
Like little children and innocently. God has opened all the doors and kept them open wide,
So heaven's little angels can smile with pride. It is heaven's little angel's blessings from above,
Sent down to spread all of God's love. Dedicated to my grandson, Xavier Michael Lemon

Nakama 仲 間
Nakama, what a word!
So many meanings
big difference it makes
of good and bad
it's all that it takes
to feel acceptance.
The unconditionally
friendly feel of peace
when enter into:
own circle
family circle
neighbours circle
work circle
nature circle
earth circle
universe circle
am I a part of them?
If yes, then
there's the biggest
source
of happiness:
a bow: -Arigatou,
nakama desu.

You Better Change
Your sins are written in heaven,
So you better change and be saved;
Hell is with many doors to enter it like a thief but,
Heaven is with only one door to enter;
Because of the Laws!

You have to face the fact that I have no reputation as a composer; I have my reputation as a songwriter and a performer-and that opportunity came this summer, when I was invited to perform at the Lincoln Centre festival in New York... three nights.

The Allegory Of The Cycle Of Doors
and so there is this door that appears before you
and you open it
and then when you enter the room
another door appears
this is the cycle of doors that keep on appearing and you
keep on opening
but the room still appears from a distance
always distant
from your eager feet to enter
you say to enter the room i must please the door
but the room moves away just the same
and the door tells you
to keep the room
you have to burn it and when the room is burned
the door finally disappears
and then both the door and the room shall tell you
now be happy
for you now have a house of your own

The Downward Course
He who says what is not, goes to hell; he also who, having done a thing, says I have not done it. After death both are equal, they are
men with evil deeds in the next world.
Many men whose shoulders are covered with the yellow gown are ill-conditioned and unrestrained; such evil-doers by their evil deeds go to hell.
Better it would be to swallow a heated iron ball, like flaring fire, than that a bad unrestrained fellow should live on the charity of the land.
Four things does a wreckless man gain who covets his neighbour's wife,-a bad reputation, an uncomfortable bed, thirdly, punishment, and lastly, hell.
There is bad reputation, and the evil way (to hell), there is the short pleasure of the frightened in the arms of the frightened, and the king imposes heavy punishment; therefore let no man think of his neighbour's wife.
As a grass-blade, if badly grasped, cuts the arm, badly-practised asceticism leads to hell.
An act carelessly performed, a broken vow, and hesitating obedience to discipline, all this brings no great reward.
If anything is to be done, let a man do it, let him attack it vigorously! A careless pilgrim only scatters the dust of his passions
more widely.
An evil deed is better left undone, for a man repents of it afterwards; a good deed is better done, for having done it, one does not repent.
Like a well-guarded frontier fort, with defences within and without, so let a man guard himself. Not a moment should escape, for they who allow the right moment to pass, suffer pain when they are in hell.
They who are ashamed of what they ought not to be ashamed of, and are not ashamed of what they ought to be ashamed of, such men,
embracing false doctrines enter the evil path.
They who fear when they ought not to fear, and fear not when they ought to fear, such men, embracing false doctrines, enter the evil
path.
They who forbid when there is nothing to be forbidden, and forbid not when there is something to be forbidden, such men, embracing false doctrines, enter the evil path.
They who know what is forbidden as forbidden, and what is not forbidden as not forbidden, such men, embracing the true doctrine,
enter the good path.

Star power
Expecting disagreement
New thought came
The door opened for those
Who wanted something
And they entertained.
Embarking on a journey
The journey of imagination
Affection reputation
New thought arrived
At my door and I
Entertained with all
Disagreements therein.

Blessed Are The Poor In Spirit
Did you ever understand this?
If my spirit was poor, how could I enter heaven?
Was I depressed?
Understanding editing,
I see how a comma, removed or inserted
with careful plan,
can change everything.
I was reminded of this
when a poor young man
in Tunisia
desperate to live
and humiliated for trying
set himself ablaze;
I felt uncomfortably warm
as if scalded by his shame.
I do not have to sell vegetables from a cart as he did
or live in narrow rooms too small for spacious thought;
and, at this late date,
I do not worry that someone will
remove every single opportunity
for me to thrive.
Still, I am connected to, inseparable from,
this young man.
Blessed are the poor, in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus. (Commas restored) .
Jesus was as usual talking about solidarity: about how we join with others
and, in spirit, feel the world, and suffering, the same as them.
This is the kingdom of owning the other as self, the self as other;
that transforms grief into
peace and delight.
I, and you, might enter the heaven
of right here
through this door.
In this spirit, knowing we are blessed,
we might remain poor

Circle Of Life
Aha, aha...
From the day we arrive on the planet
And blinking, step into the sun
There's more to be seen than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done
Some say eat or be eaten
Some say live and let live
But all are agreed as they join the stampede
You should never take more than you give
(Chorus)
In the Circle of Life
It's the wheel of fortune
It's the leap of faith
It's the band of hope
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle, the Circle of Life
Some of us fall by the wayside
And some of us soar to the stars
And some of us sail through our troubles
And some have to live with the scars
There's far too much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun rolling high
Through the sapphire sky
Keeps the great and small on the endless round
(Chorus repeats)
On the path unwinding
In the Circle, the Circle of Life.

In The End
I Saw Red
Warrant
Oo it must be magic
How inside your eyes I see my destiny Every time we kiss
I feel you breathe your love to deep inside of me
And if the moon and stars should fall
They'd be east to replace
I would lift you up to heaven
And you would take their place
Then I saw red
When I opened up the door
I saw red
Heart just spilled on to the floor
And I didn't need to see his face
I saw yours
I saw red then I closed the door
I don't think I'm gonna love you anymore
Everyday I wake up
I thank God that you are
Still a part of me
Opened up the door to which
So many people never find the way
Snd if the sun
Should ever fail to send its light
We will burn a thousand candles
And make everything alright
Then I saw red
Wnen I opened up the door
I saw red
Heart just spilled onto the floor
And I didn't need to see his face
I saw yours
I saw red then I closed the door
I don't think I'm gonna love you anymore
I've been hurt
And I've been blind
I'm not sure that I'll be fine
I never thought it would
End this way
Oo it must be magic

Heaven
(per andreasson/ pernilla emme)
Producer for bonnie: jimmy smyth
Here where we live
There's peace in this winter night
Pain has forever gone away
Oceans and winds are calm
And the stars so bright
Come and stay beside me
Come and be my friend
Heaven has opened it's arms above our heads
Heaven let sunshine upon our road
Heaven let love be the guide along the way
Let the angels say hello...
Far from the city lights
By an open fire
Come let's start again
Start all over again...
Heaven has opened it's arms above our heads
Heaven let sunshine upon our road
Heaven let love be the guide along the way
Let the angels say hello...
Heaven has opened it's arms above our heads
Heaven let sunshine upon our road
Heaven let love be the guide along the way
Let the angels say hello...
Heaven has opened it's arms above our heads
Heaven let sunshine upon our road
Heaven let love be the guide along the way
Let the angels say hello...
Let the angels say hello... heaven...heaven...

A question of priorities
A portal closes then you see
another one has opened wide.
Is this an opportunity
you have brief moments to decide.
If you go through this open door
your life will change forever more
If you do not you may regret
you lacked the courage to step through
One thing for sure you won’t forget
the chance which fate had offered you.
A golden opportunity
which you declined reluctantly.
You longed to go but chose to stay
You knew that you were needed here.
you knew you could not walk away
From everything which you held dear
A wise decision to remain
that question echoes in your brain.
When you decided not to go
through that portal and explore.
The truth is that you’ll never know
what lay beyond that open door.
But still you wonder constantly
what you’d have done if you were free.
