Lorikeet

Lorikeet is on that branch of yellow oleander
And submitting his budget proposal for the good days.

We the common mass unable to understand what are
There going on behind the scene keeping us in dark.

Goodfaith, love, emotion etcetra etcetra have
Any meaning I do not agree and also I do not
Beief in any kind of sin that arise from condemnation.

Tears rolldown from the eyes suomoto on a shock of
compassion and we become soft towards all beings
Those who are alive or dead at this time.

Lorikeet is on that branch of yellow oleander and
Watching us our activities that are not counted
By ours leaders whom we elected.

Lorikeet is helpless helpless and at any moments
Lorikeet can change the side you know well.

Helpless

There is a town in north ontario
Dream comfort memory despair
And in my mind I still need a place to hide
All my changes were there
Blue blue windows behind the stars
Yellow moon on the rise
Big birds flying across the skies
Casting shadows in our eyes
Leave us helpless helpless helpless helpless
Helpless helpless they leave me now
Helpless helpless helpless
Blue blue windows behind the stars
Yellow moon on the rise
They leave us
Helpless helpless helpless helpless

Helpless

There is a town in north ontario,
With dream comfort memory to spare,
And in my mind I still need a place to go,
All my changes were there.
Blue, blue windows behind the stars,
Yellow moon on the rise,
Big birds flying across the sky,
Throwing shadows on our eyes.
Leave us
Helpless, helpless, helpless
Baby can you hear me now?
The chains are locked and tied across the door,
Baby, sing with me somehow.
Blue, blue windows behind the stars,
Yellow moon on the rise,
Big birds flying across the sky,
Throwing shadows on our eyes.
Leave us
Helpless, helpless, helpless.

Helpless

Helpless, helpless, helpless, helpless
I thought about it but I couldnt think of what to say
But I thought about it anyway.......yeah
I tried to tell you what you mean to me
But it didnt come so easily..........no
I never reckoned
For more than a second
Just how it would be on my own
Id be helpless, without you
Id be helpless, without you
The dawn that calls beyond the night
Tells its old story.
The shadows fade into the light
In all its glory.
Helpless
Helpless baby Im a helpless
Helpless baby
Im a helpless
If I could put a good shine on the past
Do you think that we could make it last - oh yeah
Seems to mind the time goes fast
I wonder if the vote is cast
Now that you mention it,
Got my attention
I quite clearly blew me away
Id be helpless, without you
Id be helpless, without you
The dawn that calls beyond the night
Tells its old story.
The shadows fade into the light
In all its glory.
Helpless
Helpless baby Im a helpless
Helpless baby
Im a helpless, without you
Id be helpless, without you
Helpless, helpless, helpless, helpless

Song Of A Nature Loving Man

Were I a nature lyric poet my special gifts I'd share
With all who'd care to read my verse people from everywhere
But I don't have the gift of verse or so 'twould seem to me
So I can't share what I don't have with all humanity.

I'm just going back a few short months a pleasant memory
A koala with her baby on top branch of gum tree
On evening in mid april an evening bright though cool
At Tower hill just a short drive from the town of Warrnambool.

Were I a nature lyrist in words I'd celebrate
And my sense of joy at what I'd seen to all I would relate
A leaf eating nature mother with offspring on her back
Not unlike human mother with baby in knapsack.

To hear a yellow robin when spring is in her prime
On low down branch of wattle and shielded from sun shine
Sing his sad song of november his plaintive melody
Were I a bard I'd capture his song in poetry.

I find nature fascinating just look at simple honey bee
Whose ways are not so simple as they appear to be
Had I the gift of lyric of honeybees I'd write
A simple song of nature a song to give delight.

I see my God in Nature his creatures everywhere
The kangaroo with babe in pouch, the swallows of the air
The platypus and echidna, the wombat and emu
The lorikeet and rosella, the galah and cockatoo.

The laughing kookaburra whose laughter pierce quiet morn
A gold billed blackbird whistling at twilight on whitethorn
The noisy miner's cheerful song and wattlebird's hoarse like call
And bell magpie fluting notes of joy the sweetest sound of all.

A wallaby at forest edge in fading light of day
Standing almost statue like by quiet bush roadway
Were I a bard I'd capture this and on paper write it down
And bring the bush to living rooms of people in the town

And though I'm no bard I'm realist and I do know what I am
I'm one who comes from distant hills a 'Nature loving man'
And I feel happier of late happy and worry free
For I've found god after long search and nature's god to me.

I Love This Land Australia

I love this Land Australia of gum and wattle tree
This vast and sunlit Continent is home from home for me
And though I come from a distant Land when I have had my day
Than underneath Australian soil where better place to lay.

I love this Land Australia home of the kangaroo
Of echidna and wombat, platypus and cockatoo
Of lorikeet and rosella, koala, possum and emu
And other unusual birds and animals as I've mentioned just a few.

I like Australian people if poor man make good they say
The man he is a battler, good on him anyway,
In Land of wedge tailed eagle there's rooom to spread one's wings
And in the lucky country the battler is a king.

I love this Land Australia it's home from home for me,
Home of the kookaburra and gum and wattle tree
And bell bird and bell magpie who through the Winter sing
A Winter oft times milder than Ireland in the Spring.

I love this Land Australia of sunshine and bird song
And with each passing day my love for this great Country grow more strong
And though I come from a distant Land when I have had my day
Than underneath Australian soil where better place to lay.

The Yellow Ribbon On The Old Oak Tree

who can forget the yellow ribbon
on that old oak tree? tell me.

tomorrow, i shall wear my yellow cap
my yellow shirt, my yellow brief,
my yellow pants.

my jaundiced eye, my golden yellow ring.
tomorrow, in my country, the sky is yellow.

all steps lead to the yellow brick road.
all fruits are ripe and mellow and yellow.

Tomorrow, the country is yellow.
Yellow for integrity, Yellow for change.
Yellow for justice. Yellow for truth.

One day more, and the sun shall rise
Yellow as ever.Yellow forever.

The Wattlebirds Kept Busy All The Day

The wattlebirds kept busy all the day
From flowering gum trees chasing them away
But wattlebirds though big are not so fleet
And they can't catch purple crowned lorikeet.

Green neck and back and shoulder patch green brown
And reddish face and purple patch on crown
And orange patch on neck and undersides light blue
They live in small flocks as most small lories do.

These lorikeets in many places rare
But in You Yangs park one sees them everywhere
They feed in groups and fly from tree to tree
And make much noise and prove quite hard to see.

Gregarious birds they spend their daylight hours
Taking nectar from the eucalyptus flowers
And wattlebirds kept busy all the day
From flowering gum trees chasing them away.

Red, Red, Red

I don't understand about complimentary colors
And what they say
Side by side they both get bright
Together they both get gray
But he's been pretty much yellow
And I've been crying blue
But all I can see is
Red, red, red, red, red now
What am I to do
I don't understand about
Diamonds and why men buy them
What's so impressive about a diamond
Except the mining
And it's dangerous work
Trying to get to you too
And I think if I didn't have to
Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill myself doing it
Maybe I would glisten so much for you
I've been watching all the time
And I still can't find the track
And I wanna know is it okay
Is it just fine
Was it my fault
Is it my lack
I don't understand about
The weather outside
The harbinger to the words
Somebody lied
There's solace a bit for submitting
To the fitfully cryptically true
What's happened has happened
What's coming is already on its way
With a role for me to play
I don't understand
I'll never understand
But I'm trying to understand
There's nothing else I can do

I Am.... (The Branch)

i am...
the branch that bears no leaves,
my grandfathers were trees of old.
i am the axe and the chopping block,
the shell of the ancient turtle.
i am the brook, and the setting sun,
i am the mockingbird's lover.
i am the moccasin sure as the path,
the chatter of squirrels, the empty nest.
i am the plant hungrily gulping rain,
i am the place the cloud came from.
i am the holy reverence of night,
i am the tomb left empty.

i am...
the clock, the breast, the curve of the thigh,
the heat that comes from within.
i am the hate undressed by loving hands,
the eyes compassion restored.
i am the dead and dying,
the helpless, and the lost,
the spirit shunned by religion.
i am the ear that hears,
the heart that beats...
and shelter from the storm...
i am the bridge that leads away
from the curse of condemnation!

Yellow Man

Very far away in a foreign land
Live the yellow woman and the yellow man
Hes been around for many-a-year
They say they were there before we were here
Eatin rice all day
While the children play
You see he believes
In the family
Just like you and me
Oh, yellow man, oh, yellow man
We understand, you know we understand
He keeps his money tight in his hand
With his yellow woman hes a yellow man
Got to have a yellow woman
When youre a yellow man

The Yellow Magnolias

and in keeping
yellow magnolias alive
for more dark nights
amid some
unexpected storm
we do not grown them
in our pockets

in the garden
amidst the wooden fences
we attempt
to keep them forever

only the heart knows
what real keeping is
there are no roots
neither
buds and leaves
but my yellow magnolias
live there
forever

did you not say once
before
that eventual leaving
that it is only
really the
thought that matters
most?

i know
you keep telling me
magnolias are
always white

and you never believe
my yellow ones

Helpless

Another time
Time after time
You make me feel so helpless i
I never tried to change your mind
I keep it to myself
Its sometimes Ive got to tell you
Is it this time Ill tell you
Weve got to go to places
Somewhere I dont mind its special
And now you find as time goes by
Youre left with nothing meaning much
The meaning I will have to try
To take your mind to places
I wish that I could help you
But you seem less than helpless
I always tried to tell you
Someday that itd seem so special
Time after time
Whats on your mind
You make me feel so helpless i
You never tried whats on your mind
You make me feel so helpless i
I feel so helpless i
Youre left alone with something
And I hope for you its one thing
That something you and yours can hold
And hold as something special
And now you find as time goes by
Youre left with nothing meaning much
The meaning I will have to try
Whats on your mind so helpless i
I feel so helpless i

Y.. Tree of Life

The tree of life
It has a branch
A money making branch

The bigger the money making branch
The more comfortable our life
But if the money making branch
Is the only branch
On our tree of life
It is such an ugly and unstable tree.

A prayer and devotion branch
Will stabilize the tree of life
Let it be a real big branch
On your tree of life
But if only two branches on a tree
Imagine how ugly it would still be!

So let there be branches
Of Affability and Charity
Of Cheerfulness and Friendliness
Of Gentleness and Honesty
Of Humility and Compassion
Of Spirituality and Wisdom
Of Courage and Hard work

With these branches present,
It will carry soon the lush greenery
Of love and job satisfaction
And soon enough, the tree of life
Will bear the fruits
Of peace of mind and happiness.

A wonderful tree of life I wish you
with many fine branches
and lots of greenery and fruits.

Words Fell Down

Written by ricky & marty wilde
I wake up in the morning, looking for reaction
Then I see your faces, only for fraction
Did you hurt my feelings ? you just nailed me to the wall
Never say youre sorry, never show emotion
Never show a good hand, never give a notion
Dont you feel its obscene ? do you feel a thing at all ?
Chorus:
cos you come right back with the same old story
Words fell down
Words fell down
You walk right back to the sound of glory
Words fell down
Words fell down
Oh, oh, oh, its so helpless
Oh, oh, oh, its so helpless, its so helpless
Always a deceiver, never any answers
Living in the shadows, taking any chances
When you get a good line, come and talk in to my face
Chorus
You fight right back with the same reaction
Words fell down
Words fell down
The same old show with the same old caption
Words fell down
Words fell down
Oh, oh, oh, its so helpless
Oh, oh, oh, its so helpless, its so helpless

Fall Leaves Dance

Look up and they're green,
Look up and they're yellow and green.
Then they're yellow, orange, red and green.
And then most are yellow, green, orange, brown,
Masses of moving colors, dancing up and down.

Slow, colorful dances bemuse the morning breeze,
The pace quickens with the evening wind.
It's right, it's left, it's up and down,
It's east, to west, to north, to south,
Warmed and energized by the setting sun.

Squirrels race among the leaves
Doing their dance routines,
Skimming and swaying the branches,
Weighting the limbs and twigs
With buoyant starts, stops and turns.

The new season is appearing: Fall is here!
Quietly and slowly birds hop from branch to branch
Camouflaged among the leaves
That silently fall, to carpet the ground and invite
New crushing, musical rolls from children at play.

A song of sadness

When stars appear at night
the garden still have a kind of beauty
when the evening flower opens pure,
when there is love between us.

There I forget any kind of pain
are surrounded by yellow-white jasmine
even when heartache brings tears to my eyes,
when there is love between us

There is the smell of lavender
that softly is carried by the evening breeze,
when I lift my eyes to God,
when there is love between us

In times of pain and longing
the birds are still singing to each other,
under the big old yellow moon,
when there is love between us.

There I see stars sparkling blue,
I never become bitter,
even when death suddenly comes,
when there is love between us.

Still memories are gliding,
as if it can bring you back again,
although my days continue alone,
when there is love between us.

Yellow Billed Spoonbill

By the lake shore in the shallows where the waters are still
He walks in water to his knees the white bird with yellow legs and long yellow spoon like bill
With his bill in the water as he walk moving from side to side
His prey water insects, crustaceans and tiny fish in the water weed hide.

He and his partner build their nest on a high branch of a tree
On her nest of sticks she lays four white eggs though sometimes two or three
They both take care of their young a bird devoted to fatherhood as well as to his mate
Food from their stomachs to their nestlings they do regurgitate.

On river rapids never seen the still waters they need
Birds of the inland lakes and dams in the shallows they feed
Of humans 'twould be fair to say they have a healthy fear
To a human standing on the shore they never venture near.

Yellow billed or yellow legged spoonbill are names they are known by
On the lake I see one yesterday he did seem rather shy
With his long yellow bill moving from side to side in the shallows he shuffled up and down
The shiest of the water birds in the big park by the Town.

Helplessly In Love

Verse 1:
My ears are gonna fade away
Without a word from you
My lips are gonna fade away
Without kissin you
cause Im missin you
Cant you see I feel helpless?
So alone here
Out of touch with all I love
So helpless
So helpless in love
Verse 2:
Forever is so long to wait
Well it seems like forever
It was so much more than fate
That brought us together
Together
Dont ya know i
Keep counting
The days til
I can see you again
So helpless
Im missin the love of my life
And my best friend
Chorus:
Oh, I cant count the stars in the sky
No matter how hard I try
Im helplessly in love and missin you
Cant think of anything else
Except how hard I feel
Im helplessly in love and missin you
Verse 3:
I know that its so hard to hear
The voice of reason
Its like goin from summer to winter
Unwanted change of season
Its not pleasin me baby
I cant see clearly
Even though the
Suns been lifted from my eyes
So clearly
til the day we said goodbye
Chorus
Cant count the stars in the sky
No matter how hard I try
Im helplessly in love and missin you
Cant think of anything else
Except how hard I fell
Bridge:
I used to wonder if you felt the same
I know you do and now its a different game
When someone you loves been taken away
Even though its not for long
It seems like forever and a day
Cant you see I feel helpless?
So alone here
Out of touch with all I love
So helpless
So helpless in love
Chorus
Cant count the stars in the sky
No matter how hard I try
Im helplessly in love and missin you
Cant think of anything else
Except how hard I fell
Cant count the stars in the sky
Im helplessly in love and missin you
