Foul play
Foul play not good
Foul players destroy themselves.
Foul play means play with injustice
Foul play means neglect justice.
Foul play I do not like
Foul play I do not like.

The Tide River
Clear and cool, clear and cool,
By laughing shallow and dreaming pool;
Cool and clear, cool and clear,
By shining shingle and foaming weir;
Under the crag where the ouzel sings,
And the ivied wall where the church-bell rings,
Undefiled, for the undefiled;
Play by me, bathe in me, mother and child.
Dank and foul, dank and foul,
By the smoky town in its murky cowl;
Foul and dank, foul and dank,
By wharf and sewer and slimy bank;
Darker and darker the farther I go,
Baser and baser the richer I grow;
Who dare sport with the sin-defiled?
Shrink from me, turn from me, mother and child.
Strong and free, strong and free,
The flood-gates are open, away to the sea.
Free and strong, free and strong,
Cleansing my streams as I hurry along,
To the golden sands, and the leaping bar,
And the taintless tide that awaits me afar.
As I lose myself in the infinite main,
Like a soul that has sinned and is pardoned again,
Undefiled, for the undefiled;
Play by me, bathe in me, mother and child.

Trailing Voices
A million cried
Help! Help! Help!
Another million yelled
Foul! Foul! Foul!
Before an unfeeling
Sovereign! In vain! !
And a billion populace
That raised the reign
Remained maimed!
Letting quietly its body
To be eater away
By its own organelle! ! !

For at least another hundred years we must pretend to ourselves and to every one that fair is foul and foul is fair; for foul is useful and fair is not. Avarice and usury and precaution must be our gods for a little longer still.

O Friend
O friend, tickle the strings of thy voluptuous lyre
And rend all air with musical sound-
Such sound, that I might drown
All my misery, my universe and my love
Yes, this love that cans't be mine
That gold will buy love matters not,
A fair foul fancy, if love were aught.
O friend play - dispel misery in the air,
Revive agonies, set my heart on fire
Play o play upon thy lyre,
that I may have extremity of despair. [1960]
Y - hole- 8
Back at another hole.
Just not feeling that bold.
MAYBE getting old.
JUST THAT WATER HOLE.
Can't have no water.
FOUL-FOUL-FOUL-MAN-no water.
GO! ! ! Have a soda dude....or who ever.
Just want water man.
WE ONLY GOT - ACID RAIN - water.
DON'T need that trip.
But that is it.
100.00 dollars for a cool cup.
MAN-I said-MAN-WE GOT NO WATER.
YOU JUST OUT OF LUCK.
500 million cars are right.
EVERY DAY I NEED WATER.

Foul Mouths Shouting
This magic we hold...
Comes from deep 'withinside' of us.
The moment our hearts began to beat...
That magic of life,
Began
To sweep us up in its wonder....to keep,
In wonder.
And so ungrateful we become,
Soon after that's done.
With a so too often shown...
Disrespect to be allowed.
And foul mouths shouting...
In someone's house.
And so ungrateful we become,
And soon after that's done.
Foul mouths shouting...
In someone's house
To cuss it!
For what it is,
And what it is not!
Soiled from the beginning.
And spoiled to aggrevate and annoy!
A lot!
Until there is conflict.
And it does come.
And so ungrateful we become,
And soon after that's done.
Foul mouths shouting...
In someone's house
And we re-act the way we've been taught,
To defend ourselves.
From those 'bad guys'.
With their differences...
Few make attempts to hide.
Foul mouths shouting...
In someone's house rise.
And we spy on 'them'...
To undercover their weak spots!
Making it easier to do them in.
To cuss it!
For what it is,
And what it is not!
Soiled from the beginning.
And spoiled to aggrevate and annoy!
A lot.
Until there is conflict.
And it does start!
And so ungrateful we become,
And soon after that's done.
Foul mouths shouting...
In someone's house
To cuss it!
For what it is,
And what it is not!
Soiled from the beginning.
And spoiled to aggrevate and annoy!
A lot.
Until there is conflict.
And it comes to start again!
Foul mouths shouting...
To cuss it!
For what it is.
Foul mouths shouting...
To cuss it!
For what it is.
Foul mouths shouting...
To cuss it!
For what it is.
To cuss it!
For what it is.
To cuss it!
For what it is.
Cuss it!
For what it is.
To Cuss it!
For what it is.
Cuss it!
Cuss it!
Cuss it!
Cuss it!
Cuss it!
For what it is.
To Cuss it!
For what it is.
Cuss it!
For what it is.

Live your body
Good for health
Have the nice...!
Twice the day
Morning and
Evening go to play...
That is secerat
Of your life
Understand
To try with
Play to play

I knew it was gonna go out. It was just a question of it being fair or foul. The wind must have carried it 15 feet toward the foul pole. I just stood there and watched. I didn't want to miss seeing it go out.

Crazy Jane Talks With The Bishop
I met the Bishop on the road
And much said he and I.
'Those breasts are flat and fallen now,
Those veins must soon be dry;
Live in a heavenly mansion,
Not in some foul sty.'
'Fair and foul are near of kin,
And fair needs foul,' I cried.
'My friends are gone, but that's a truth
Nor grave nor bed denied,
Learned in bodily lowliness
And in the heart's pride.
'A woman can be proud and stiff
When on love intent;
But Love has pitched his mansion in
The place of excrement;
For nothing can be sole or whole
That has not been rent.'

The Unspoken Words
mum my lips, lifted like storm
show me the window and shall be
there to cry
move like cripple dung, shape that
smell foul, not a game to play
but gain to paint
oh! tell me and reveals what is real
nothing comes easy in the dust to play
paddle those canoe, for even the
wind brings dirt to rest
hold on each moment, the scattered
voice murmurs the wind and settles
down to lie...

You think you've got your way
But baby there's a catch
Don't need your foul play
Now you have met your match
You think you're in control
But that won't last that long
You thought you wore the crown

Cadences Of Absonance
Here I stand
On the shores of abandomnent,
Waves quietly at my feet.
All I see is venom!
Venom is all I see
Surrounding me!
Venom!
Oddly it sooths (me),
Quiets my needs
New answers rush at me.
With hateful vengeance,
I throw my soul away,
Conclusions might as well
Be carved out in stone,
(In a) flash of clarity
From exiled sanity-
My mute witness and detested consort
With singularity of my purpose
It quiets my mind!!!
Sinful ecstasy feeds my skin!!!!
As I throw my soul away!!!
Twisted logic of foul play.
Here I stand of sound body and foul mind
Composing my manifesto of silence.
A twisted requiem by the mute for the deaf.
A lunatics symphony of absonance
Discordant cadences of a chaotic mind.
It quiets my mind!
Sinful ecstasy feeds my skin!!!!
As I throw my soul away!
Twisted logic of foul play.
I threaten the universe with murder and rape
In hope of obtaining some sort of reaction.
Lucidity purged
(By) fever (thick with) hate, chaos, deceit and other peoples pain
Here I stand throwing fists at the sky
Ready to claw back
What is rightfully mine
Amidst the ignorance of the sillborn world about me.

Foul Shots: A Clinic
for Paul Levitt Be perpendicular to the basket,
toes avid for the line.
Already this description
is perilously abstract: the ball
and basket are round, the nailhead
centered in the centerplank
of the foul-circle is round,
and though the rumpled body
isn't round, it isn't
perpendicular. You have to draw
'an imaginary line,' as the breezy
coaches say, 'through your shoulders.'
Here's how to cheat: remember
your collarbone. Now the instructions
grow spiritual -- deep breathing,
relax and concentrate both; aim
for the front of the rim but miss it
deliberately so the ball goes in.
Ignore this part of the clinic
and shoot 200 foul shots
every day. Teach yourself not to be
bored by any boring one of them.
You have to love to do this, and chances
are you don't; you'd love to be good
at it but not by a love that drives
you to shoot 200 foul shots
every day, and the lovingly unlaunched
foul shots we're talking about now --
the clinic having served to bring us
together -- circle eccentrically
in a sky of stolid orbits
as unlike as you and I are
from the arcs those foul shots
leave behind when they go in.

All existing things are really one. We regard those that are beautiful and rare as valuable, and those that are ugly as foul and rotten The foul and rotten may come to be transformed into what is rare and valuable, and the rare and valuable into what is foul and rotten.

Sin (II)
O that I could a sin once see!
We paint the devil foul, yet he
Hath some good in him, all agree.
Sin is flat opposite to th' Almighty, seeing
It wants the good of virtue, and of being.
But God more care of us hath had:
If apparitions make us sad,
By sight of sin we should grow mad.
Yet as in sleep we see foul death, and live:
So devils are our sins in perspective.

Blue Notes
All you players
who play the blues
play, play
play the sad news.
The minor chords
will take you down low.
Let the sax wail
and the trumpet blow.
Listen and lament with
that licorice stick,
all you lovers
sad and heartsick.
Let it all out boys.
Play, play, play.
Those tearful lovers
hear what you say.
They hear those blues
and they feel it too.
It will let their tears fall
like no other notes can do.

Come Outside And Play
Can U come outside and play?!
Give me your name and number
Give me the keys 2 your ride
Put the top down
Let me cruise up the ocean side
Let me put my arm around U
Unsnap your self-consciousness
Take off everything except your stockings
I wanna kiss U more or less
Can U come outside and play? {"Play" repeats is BG of song}
Tell me baby, what do U say?
I got a bet goin' with my partner
That U're the best kisser in L.A.
If I'm, uh, out of line, U can tell me
But if I'm not, we can get busy
Come on baby, tell me what do U say?
Can U come outside and play?
Play! Play!
Take off everything except your stockings
I wanna kiss U more or less {x3}
I wanna.. I wanna.. I wanna..
I wanna, wanna, wanna, wanna, wanna, wanna, wanna play!
I got a bet goin' with my partner
That U're the best kisser in L.A.
Come on baby, come on baby
Come on, come outside and play {x3}
Play
(Can U come outside and play?)
Come outside and play!
(Play) {x8}
(Can U come outside and play?)
(Play) {x15}
(Can U come..)
(Can U come..)
(Can U come outside..)
(Can U come outside and play?)
U'll be fine {segue}
We can withstand the test of time
It's all or nothing
Everything we do
Even when I can't be
Can't be with U
It doesn't mean U're any farther away
Just means we're still prisoners
Not entirely free
There's a new age dawning
Slowly opening heaven's door
Contrary 2 rumour
Heaven is keeping score
The New Power Generation has just taken control

Gambol (a ghazal)
Received and given, preening doves
in courtship sway, they play for love.
Children bouncing balls off walls,
a ricochet they play for love.
Sculptors stories live in folds
of molded clay they play for love.
Gamblers stake to make or break
in rash parley they play for love.
Newlyweds on feather beds
in hideaways, they play for love.
Chiropractors whack the cracks
on vertebrae they play for love.
Glissandi slip from fingertips,
a strummed segue they play for love.
Scrabble rivals settle scores
in worded fray they play for love.
Shady names inflame with games
in sobriquet, they play for love.
Players love and lovers play
I love to play, I play for love.

Ever Fairest
Her wires fairer are
Than straightest blonde
For they take many shapes,
Her hair it does.
There is unusual beauty
In the form
That pretty norm I calculate
As foul
Then foul comes with all
Established beauty.
But her rare hair to me
Is ever fairest.
