Doves
Doves are here
Flutter not
The dove cots
Though doughty
You are.
You are not here to
Down on any one
Doubtless you are
The great son
Do not down upon a person.

Blue Dove
The Blue Dove Legend.
says it's born every hundred years,
Blue Doves are true,
and brings love.
They say if the Blue Dove,
lands on your porch, or
near you, only good fortune,
for ever you'll have
Love always will be,
deep in your heart, so touching,
you with other down trodden
people, for you to reach.
An open heart to others,
a gift you will have.
Blue Doves are true
so if you see one,
do not flee.
Blue Doves are hatched,
in a nest of two
one white, one blue,
mother cuddles
with ever loving care,
she knows this little thing,
is so special and true.
The day that Blue Dove flees the nest,
and flys into the unknown
some lucky soul their fortune,
will change.
Blue Doves may be just,
a legend, but if you,
do see one, hope it comes,
your way, to bring hope,
love, life and better days.
Blue dove, does bring,
true love, and many happy
days, so watch out, look,
search the skys, Blue
Dove may be coming,
your way.

Patience, Patience
the child with a black coat
on this cold day
sits there beside a brick
church of spanish
architecture
the yard is quiet except
for the sound of the flapping
of doves feedind on some
rice grains
the boy has a black hair
and his feet are stained with
mud his fingers dirty with
some sticky sauce
he spreads the rice grains
from his palm to the
muddy grounds
the doves hover and land
on the spot where the grains
are freely spread
he sits with them
surrounded
the doves are watching him
and he watches carefully each
dove that eyes on his grains
he likes to snatch just one
to bring home to mother
the doves are too careful
it is just the rice grains nothing more
eye to eye
both wait for what shall happen next

She cries like a dove on the modern stainless steel bridge!
Pigeons and doves constitute the bird family Columbidae within the order Columbiformes, which include some 300 species of near passerines. In general terms 'dove' and 'pigeon' are used somewhat interchangeably. In ornithological practice, there is a tendency for 'dove' to be used for smaller species and 'pigeon' for larger ones, but this is in no way consistently applied, and historically the common names for these birds involve a great deal of variation between the terms 'dove' and 'pigeon.' This family occurs worldwide, but the greatest variety is in the Indomalaya and Australasia ecozones. Young doves and pigeons are called 'squabs.'
Have you seen my boyfriend?
Painful the kiss of his wisdom tooth
Stingy and uses my perfume,
Curly hair
Green eyes
Dimples on both cheeks
When he smiles
And he holds a guitar all the time.
If not the drawn mascara pencil mustache
He looks like a girl.
Swing walk and everybody likes him.
When I saw him last night at the theater
He wore a black T Shirt
And a Red Trouser.
O somebody must have eloped with him?
Swing walk and everybody likes
And I missed him
My boyfriend!

My Doves
OPPOSITE my chamber window,
On the sunny roof, at play,
High above the city's tumult,
Flocks of doves sit day by day.
Shining necks and snowy bosoms,
Little rosy, tripping feet,
Twinkling eyes and fluttering wings,
Cooing voices, low and sweet,-
Graceful games and friendly meetings,
Do I daily watch and see.
For these happy little neighbors
Always seem at peace to be.
On my window-ledge, to lure them,
Crumbs of bread I often strew,
And, behind the curtain hiding,
Watch them flutter to and fro.
Soon they cease to fear the giver,
Quick are they to feel my love,
And my alms are freely taken
By the shyest little dove.
In soft flight, they circle downward,
Peep in through the window-pane;
Stretch their gleaming necks to greet me,
Peck and coo, and come again.
Faithful little friends and neighbors,
For no wintry wind or rain,
Household cares or airy pastimes,
Can my loving birds restrain.
Other friends forget, or linger,
But each day I surely know
That my doves will come and leave here
Little footprints in the snow.
So, they teach me the sweet lesson,
That the humblest may give
Help and hope, and in so doing,
Learn the truth by which we live;
For the heart that freely scatters
Simple charities and loves,
Lures home content, and joy, and peace,
Like a soft-winged flock of doves.

Wings Of A Dove
Let me fly in the wings of a dove
Above the Manhattan sky
So that all the yankies can see me
At least I will be safe in the wings of a dove
And I can sleep while I am fling in the wings of a dove
I love to fly in the wings of a dove
But the feeling of being high in the sky is great
But God gave me a chance to fly in the wings of a dove
When the opportunity came I didn't even think for a minute
I just jumped right in this opportunity
And I am glad I did it
Because I am having the greatest time when I am flying in the wings of a Dove
But I woke up at midnight and the sky was already dark
Eventhough the dove was still flying
The dove took me all the way to Chigago the windy city
Men I must tell you that it was very windy inthe sky in chicago
But we landed safe in Chicago by the shore
And I sleept in the shore of Chicago for the night
To me it was almost like being inside a movie scream when I woke up the next morning at the Shore of Chicago

The Killing
The killing
A flock of white doves flew over my house, heading due east, if they were flying to
Israel fat chance, and if they landed on the Gaza strip they would end up in a pot.
Last time I saw a white dove was in 1956, when I accidently killed one, I had made
a bow and arrow and shot into the air and hit one. Our neighbour came, pulled
the arrow out of quivering bird and gave it to me, but kept the dove. The aroma of
roasted bird wafted along the street. We sat eating fried mackerel with turnips,
“why didn’t you take the bird home? ” My mother asked. “But it was white and it
might have been an angel” I said.“? Never mind the colour, we are talking about
food, ” she said. My sister went even further insisted it was Jesus in disguise, and
I had to give her my chewing gum to atone for my sin. White doves of peace with
a palm leave in their beaks, how romantic, war is undying, peace is just a breather
and festive balloons as military brass bands play.

The Doves
The house where I was born,
Where I was young and gay,
Grows old amid its corn,
Amid its scented hay.
Moan of the cushat dove,
In silence rich and deep;
The old head I love
Nods to its quiet sleep.
Where once were nine and ten
Now two keep house together;
The doves moan and complain
All day in the still weather.
What wind, bitter and great,
Has swept the country's face,
Altered, made desolate
The heart-remembered place ?
What wind, bitter and wild,
Has swept the towering trees
Beneath whose shade a child
Long since gathered heartease ?
Under the golden eaves
The house is still and sad,
As though it grieves and grieves
For many a lass and lad.
The cushat doves complain
All day in the still weather;
Where once were nine or ten
But two keep house together.

These Moments of Innocence {La Terza Versione}
This morning I awoke from a dream,
to the quintessence of pure innocence,
thru' my sunsoaked bedroom window.
Watched the sweet, soft landing
of a doves imposition,
upon a newborne branch
of the leanest tree,
lending shade, and confidence
to the infant limb,
by its presence, alone...
and nothing more;
discognizant to the virtue
of its mere presence,
...and nothing more -
just this...... and nothing more.
And it washed my face with smile
to see such divinity before my eye's.
Verdant and promising,
yet bleeding for nurture,
the infant limb embraced
the presence of the dove -
..........................cautiously.
And in time, so adopted
an unconscious bond of trust,
an expectence, if you will,
to all the young branch
grew accustomed to.
All this... and nothing more.
Moments such as these
are as close as perfection comes...
no closer be....just this,
and nothing more.
And ostensibly discognizant,
to the command of its presence
the white bird lays still,
ruminating about nothing
of significance, or consequence,
but mere expectence of the limb
for same reciprocal.
Still its wing's flutter spritely,
spinning fresh breeze upon itself
with an ambience of cherubic peace,
utopic peace.....in solitude.
Just this...and nothing more.
A trinity of doves carry overhead...
a family, a flock of natures' gold -
all this....and nothing more.
And within these fertile moments
innocence conceives;
innocence, incarnate,
life's sweetest gift.
And all too soon, life moves forward
as time knows how to do no different.
And with it, the child limb becomes -
a branch that will shoulder many years
of shelter, beauty....and so much more
providing confidence,
to its own offspring growth
upon the natural seed of nature.
And perhaps for a moment
the rememberance of a dove,
who has since moved forward in time -
to perch on other verdant trees
with newfound landings.
Yet, always discognizant
to its' virtuous presence,
the dove....would never know -
the gift it brought to an infant limb
so many ''moments'' ago.
All this, and so much more;
Innocence....a utopic dimension of being
that has no equal... to so much more.
These moments of absolute Innocence, I saw...
this morning....upon waking from a dream.

On Two Sisters Whose Deaths Were Together
IN woods remote, hid in the mountain hollows,
Doves there are that have a gentler beauty,
Doves that are marked as by a poet's image,
And hence are called Doves of the Wounded Heart.
And such ye were, and we could never learn the
Call that would bring you to our breasts, our hands!
And such ye were, and ye were aliens in our
Barnyard-world Doves of the Wounded Heart!
You who were proud no storm had ever turned your
Flight, and you who were her cherished one
May ye have found, hid in your mountain hollows,
Your wood remote, Doves of the Wounded Heart!

Red Butterfly
Watch, see, with glee
flitting fast past a tree
Children chase, hear their cry
'Flutter by,
butterfly'
Red as sunset on the beach,
somehow always out of reach
Velvet wings whisper, wry
'Flutter by,
butterfly'
Blood heart, ruby gem
Floats in a secluded glen
So still lands, no leaf awry
'Flutter by,
butterfly'
Flame-wings on bough so green
as in close, they do lean
So still a crimson does it lie
'Flutter by,
butterfly'
Vivid red, in spring the led
Antennae tip on scarlet head
Whirl up to a diamond sky
*butterfly,
flutter, bye'

Secret
Secrets are good,
Secrets are bad,
I have a secret,
It may make you sad.
Secrets deep,
Secrets shallow,
It may be hard,
To swallow.
Secrets heavy,
Secrets light,
This is to be told,
At night.
Secrets kept,
Secrets told,
This secret,
Is very old.
Secrets of love,
Secrets of hate,
This secret,
Is great.
Secret love,
Secret hate,
My secret,
Is who,
I love.
A guy so sweet,
A guy so great.
A guy so fun,
A guy so nice.
This guy is different,
This guy is a dove.
This is the guy,
Who I love.
Different is great,
Different is sweet,
No one knows us,
So it's great.
This guy is lonely,
This guy is friendless.
I like him,
And he likes me.
No one talks to him,
No one talks to me.
We are the same,
We are different.
He doesn't know,
That I love him,
Cause he knows,
We're the same.
I've no love,
He's caught a dove.
He's had no love,
He taught me how to catch a dove.
He's tall and smart,
He's sweet and friendly,
He's nice and fun,
He's the sun.
I have a secret,
One that's free like a dove,
I have a secret,
That's all about love...

The Feather Of Yuri
if a dove leaves a feather
white,
pure,
it does not just tell you that
it was once here
it tells you also of another thing
that there is a good reason
for keeping
something like a memory
the sweet one
it does not tell you
to discard pain
but to remember everything
and learn
like you i am not a dove
does not speak the language of doves
does not have feathers
to leave for some people i love
to remember
but i have some pieces of me
some memories
some pieces of my mind and they are not feathers
though they may
like feathers be
light, soft, pure, and beautiful

Butterfly
Some will find subtlety left in strangers,
Some will find subtlety alone.
And if you find everything like you're looking for,
If you find anything let me in.
My eyes, i see, i see everything.
My eyes, i see it's together i know.
Some will find everything trapped in cages.
Some will find simple things inside their zoo.
And if you find everything like you're looking for,
If you find anything let me go.
My eyes, i see, i see it all.
My eyes, i see and feel it's together i know.
Butterfly home, fly home, fly home, fly...
And i'll raise my head up,
And i'll raise my arms up,
And i'll flutter on, beautiful, flutter on, beautiful, flutter on, beautiful, flutter on, beautiful
Butterfly, butterfly
Butterfly...
And i'll raise my wings up,
And i'll shed this shell off,
And i'll flutter on, beautiful, flutter on, beautiful, flutter on, beautiful, flutter on, beautiful
Butterfly, yeah
Flutter on, beautiful
Butterfly, yeah
If what i know is real,
If what i know is all,
I'm dying, i'm dying
Flutter on beautiful, flutter on beautiful.
I'm dying beautiful, i'm dying beautiful.
Flutter on, i'm beautiful.
Fly, i'm beautiful.
Butterfly, i'm beautiful.
Butterfly, yeah.
Butterfly, butterfly...
And i see in my eyes,
And i feel in my skin,
And i walk in my world,
And i feel that i'm dying...

Even If I Am Not Great
EVEN IF I AM NOT GREAT
Even if I am not great
I can still live-
Even if it’s almost over with
And I did not realize my dream-
I can still live-
I am a person
A human being
I still can live
I don’t have to hate myself
And give up everything-
I am not great
I never will be great
I will die and not be read and remembered-
I am a person
A small person
I did what I could
I can still live
Can’t I?

You And I Could Fly High Into The Blue Sky
If you were my morning dove
What is love dove
Could we fly through the air dove
Would it be enough
If you and I could fly
Could you and I try
Not to shed tears and cry
I will not lie
To thee my dove
You and I could fly high into the blue sky

I loved to read, but I always thought that the dream was too far away. The person who had written the book was a god, it wasn't a person.
Children Of Love*************10/4/79
love is looking into their eyes
and seeing the joy of your little
girl and boy.
these are the children of love
'pure and clean' just like a dove.
they fly above their elders lives
touching all the husbands and wives.
for most of them are the parents
of these children of love.
they are the guardians of these white doves.
'children of love' young and carefree
teaching all of us what life is meant to be.
showing us joy when we are sad
explaining happiness when they are glad.
expressing to us
what we choose to hide
life and love is one of a kind.
children of love is what they are
always near, never far.
they listen to us and what
we have to teach.
but we are the ones
who stretch out and reach.
trying to touch love
'from these little white doves'.
