Compounding The Troubles

Compounding the troubles
You arrived at my door
While I am piloting the mirage crashes.

You did not want to have
details of my resignation from
countering terrorism and
beg sorry for the lapses.

I am at my presence to guide
the panel and need your cooperation
that you declined to offer yourself.

Mirage

Mirage
I am just a mirage
Oh - I am just a mirage
When you look at me
Thru your crystal glass you will see
That I am now your past
But you give your love to me
In your life I wasnt meant to be.
Oh I am just a mirage
Oh I am just a mirage
Just a mirage fading away like water
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
I am just a mirage
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
I am just a mirage
I am just a mirage
But until that day has come
When you say Ill be your only one
I will live the way its meant for me
With ups and downs and mystery.

Is There Anything Wrong In The Wanting of This?

Is there anything wrong,
In providing an environment...
In which one prefers quietness,
Than the conflicts of daily argument.
Is there anything wrong with not wanting this?

Especially if it comes to one who has invested,
In the elimination of certain relationships...
That did not fit to mix,
With a growth that is felt matched up with.

Is there anything wrong with not wanting this?
I hope not.
I would hate to be the one to admit,
The happiness I have that has arrived...
Means nothing more than a mirage described.

When I know...
On the other side of a door I turn my key,
Peace and harmony is there to greet me.
And I,
Can sit and eat.
To fall asleep,
Butt naked if I choose to.

Is there anything wrong in the wanting of this?
I hope not.
I would hate to be the one to admit,
The happiness I have that has arrived...
Means nothing more than a mirage described.

Details

Before the mind goes...
And any 'suspected' patience,
That is left I 'may' have had...
But did not take an opportunity to express.
I'd like to,
With current humility I recognize within me now,
Say this...
To anyone I might have unwittingly offended.
I'd like to say you can...
Can?
You...
Gee!
It was right on the tip of my tongue too!
How embarrassing?
You can...

'Sounds like...?
Comeon.
Out with it.
I aint got all day to listen to these mushy apologies.
Contrived or not!
Express it. Get it out! '

See?
You see?
That's exactly why folks like you,
Deserve to be told what to kiss!
But I aint feelin' it.
It's a good thing my mind has memory lapses.
Or I'd cuss you out with abundant love.

Which reminds me...
Didn't you promise to pay back my ten dollars?

Were you hoping I'd forget that?
In fact...
Just last week,
Didn't you borrow fifty more dollars from me?

'Details!
Now you want to include 'details' in the mix! '

All of us want to see the details of any legislative plan if there's going to be a legislative response, but Congress, I believe, is in the mood to do whatever it takes to win this war against terrorism.

A "war against terrorism" is an impracticable conception if it means fighting terrorism with terrorism. The feelings on both sides are not that they are taking part in some evil and criminal act but risking their lives heroically for what they consider to be a just cause.

Mirage

(words & music by giant - baum - kaye)
Is your love darling just a mirage?
From the distance, you call to me like an oasis
Though your kisses, keep drawing me near
Is your love a mirage that will disappear?
Like a man in the desert, Im lost
Is this dream just a trick of my imagination
Though I thirst for your lips, night and day
Is your love a mirage that will fade away?
How I pray, heaven answered my prayer
When I reach out for you, youll be there
In the search for my love will be through
Like a dream a mirage, will come true
How I pray, heaven answered my prayer
When I reach out for you, youll be there
In the search for my love will be through
Like a dream a mirage, will come true
A mirage, a mirage, a mirage

Terrorism (home Demo)

Terrorism
You're writing your diary in innocents' blood
You're vain and you're ugly, you're no Robin Hood
You don't steal from the rich to help the poor
You just take life from both and what is more
You break your bread and drink
But post-confession you'll still stink of
Terrorism
Terrorism
But you're Sikh, Jew, Muslim and Christian, you say
Now which religion will you wear today?
And in whose Bible do you find your cause
That says bomb children in department stores?
I hope your god is pleased
To see all creation on their knees for
Terrorism
Terrorism
Angel of death with black woolen mask
Freedom they bring you is a long wooden cask
They never doubt that right is on their side
When right is rifle-shaped where can you hide?
Don't want daughter sweet
To be target practice in the high street
Terrorism

When It Rains, It Really Pours

(words & music by w. emmerson)
You know what it takes,
Youve got it, baby.
You are the only one I chose.
Dont leave me here with all these heartaches,
Only you and heaven knows
About my troubles troubles troubles.
When it rains, it really pours...
You shouldnt have took away my loving
You know you thrill me from head to toe.
I got a feeling for you baby
And youre the only one who knows
About my troubles, troubles, troubles.
When it rains, it really pours...
You know what you did to make me love you
You really opened up my nose.
You got what you wanted, now you left me.
Thats the way the story goes.
Well, I got troubles, troubles, troubles.
When it rains, it really pours.

Resignation, not mystic, not detached, but resignation open-eyed, conscious, and informed by love, is the only one of our feelings for which it is impossible to become a sham.

Their Teachers

Never do the same signs show their details,
Details are simply abandoning the very concept;
Signs fool the teachers of this era as we speak,
Details are against those who teach and display.

A parrot

A beautiful parrot I like to see
On a cage
Paying attention to
My every word
And
Then
Retells them all back to me

Faithfully
Although
With some little lapses

Lively little lapses
Little slips of the bird’s belittled tongues

She is not arrogant.

There Is Nothing Perfect

basic is the rule
there is nothing perfect
in this world: no perfect person
there will always be lapses
no perfect planes
there will be crashes sometimes
no perfect clothes
for summer, some colors will still be hot
no perfect friends, there will always be
betrayals from time to time
there is even no perfect time
sometimes we caught in a whorl
with the whore
in a black hole where we do not know
anymore what happens next
there is nothing perfect even
in moderation
no perfect life
neither death,
ask God, he is not either
he was once in error
when he became
man.

Lighting Crashes

Lightning crashes a new mother cries
Her placenta falls to the floor
The angel opens her eyes
The confusion sets in
Before the doctor can even close the door
Lightning crashes an old mother dies
Her intentions fall to the floor
The angel closes her eyes
The confusion that was hers
Belongs now to the baby down the hall
1-Oh now feel it, comin' back again
Like a rollin', thunder chasing the wind
Forces pullin' from
The center of the earth again
I can feel it.
Lightning crashes a new mother cries
This moment she's been waiting for
The angel opens her eyes
Pale blue colored iris
Presents the circle
And puts the glory out to hide, hide
(repeat 1, 1, 1)

Let's Be Honest About This

Let's be honest about this!

'No.
Why should we?
Look behind you.
The majority now follow us.
Plus it has stopped raining.
A rainbow appears.
And...
Who knows,
If we keep with our beliefs...
Soon we will be near the Emerald City.'

WHAT EMERALD CITY? ? ?

'Keep your voice down.
I said IF we keep our beliefs...
Soon we will be near the Emerald City.'

But that's lieing.

'Details.
Details, details, details.
So what?
Something will show up...
And we will call it the Emerald City.
You know how it works.
You've been playing this game longer than I have.'

You've Got Your Troubles

you've got your troubles
Fortunes
I see that worried look upon your face,
You've got your troubles, i got mine.
She's found somebody else to take your place;
You've got your troubles, i got mine.
I too have lost my love today,
All of my dreams have flown away.
Now just like you i sit and wonder why;
You've got your troubles, i got mine.
You need some sympathy, well so do i,
You've got your troubles, i got mine.
She used to love me, that i know,
And it don't seem so long ago
That we were walking, that we were talking
The way that lovers do.
And so forgive me if i seem unkind,
You've got your troubles, i got mine.
(counter: and it must seem to you, my friend
That i ain't got no pity for you,
Well, that ain't true,
You see i love that little girl, little girl, little
Girl.)
I'd help another place, another time,
You've got your troubles, i got mine.
You've got your troubles, i got mine.
You've got your troubles, i got mine.
