For you tricked yourself trying - life's still unseen

A Painfull Smile

Behind my smile is pain
that runs deep into my soul
filling in the cracks of joy with
hate leaving no room for hope

the pain you can not see
soon you will not smile either
as I swim into the sea of loneliness
allowing sadness to fill my lungs

I snatch my smile from your memory
as my body sinks I will live a lie no longer
never forcing a smile, that if you would see through it
I wouldn't be moving in with the fish and saying goodbye forever

Valentine’s Day (again)

Everything I have ever wanted in a Girl
I had already found in you
But the grass was always greener
In that fantasy life that I led
I could not see that dream
I had right in front of my face
And now it seems to me
That I will never dream that way again

But it is no wonder that we are drawn to each other still
Because the way that we loved each other then
Even though it may not have been the best thing for either of us
It was still something that we shared then and today

Every time I close my eyes I still see your face
I can smell your hair and feel your warmth
I can still hear your breath, soft
So long ago, like yesterday
Your smile gave me something to live for
So I decked out our room for you
With hearts and stars and roses and love

I don’t have to dry my eyes so much any more
Only when I think of you standing in the hallway
With that look on your face on Valentine’s Day
I was hiding in the closet watching you
You walked into the our room and set your bag down

Teenage Love

teenage love
is a strong
vibrant love

growing in developing trust
unburdened by broken baggage
emotional scares some adults

choose to relive
in endless cycles
dance of bitter blame

for you always among
the smiles and tears
there should always be

beauty so you always
remember who you are
and always stay serene

confident and poised
focused on life giving energy
gift you inherently impart

when you enter a room
it blooms with vibrant energy
the walls shimmer possibilities

even with previous occupancy
room was grey dormant
flat without passions of feeling

When the shirt came off, it was all in time
When a m-m-m-minute turned into a mile
And then I broke that grin, and I cut it out
And you got all turned on by the taste of your sin
When I mention blue, all you thought was color

A smile please

I need to smile more
Bring happiness and adore
New avenues and areas to explore
There is yet something more in store

I can’t wait for it to come
Open up fully to welcome
I am waiting for gentle sound
I eagerly wait for it to be found

I shall not scoff it out or laugh
It has reached to only a half
I need to work in a better way
Something more to bring in a day

We have to sign or put initial
We have enough of potential
It may have gradual growth
We got to smile for both

I find same people around
But new nucleous and fresh round
I have to infuse and venture in new ground
Happiness may generate smile and shall remain spell bound

More to gain and nothing to strain
Smile all over again and again
There has to be vigrous drive competition
No room for hatred to have any repitition

I can’t allow it to pass or let
There has to be some regret
Smile always offfers something
New thoughts to offer on anything

It is the right spirit
It revolves in its own orbit
It does not alow to split
No one can ever think to delete

We need to search
There is scope for research
The tendency to look forward and smile

and you understand, my thirst and my hunger, my longing and my pain,

throughout the night, and the morning after, i still see you sleeping, and i leave you a note, (and some money too) , i know, it will be the last, since deep within,

Frog Prince Of 21th Century (Part 1)

The memory I've taken with when I started to walk,
I promised I never did gone to break your heart.
Listen to the birds' singing, moon's gone to shards.
I knew the rest of the folktales, and now i will talk.

'Frog is hiding to find a place to sleep
from danger of world after he's cursed by witch.
An ugly frog appeared when he was looking into the pond.
Moonlight reflection appeared beside him likes it's never gone.'

'He looked above to talk to the moon,
but moon was hiding behind the cloud as her room.
Desperately, he walked his alley under the moon's shadow.
Quietly, moon was staring at him from her hideaway unknown.'

'Doubtful and lonely, he wondered 'bout the moon,
'I'm no more a prince, no more sprayed with fume'
'Is it why the moon hated me after i was fallen? '
'I'm no more than a frog without a crown to bring'. '

Confessions Before the 'I DO

So many words i wanna say
Yet only few find its way out
Oh God its hard. Funny huh?
No, don't stop, keep smiling
I am gonna say it now, infront of God, the priest, and everyone
And just one look in your eyes
Its all the strength Imma need to tell you this
In my head, I have seen myself scoring goals in a cup final
And imagined playing golf on the moon
But, never in my wildest dream did i ever think
I had the guts to tell you this, right here, right now
But this has been burried in my heart for too long
And it is time it came out, and you heard it as an individual
For after this, we are no longer different people, but one person
I know I don't have the fancy lines of a poet
Or the creativity of an artist
To deeply express the joy my heart feels
But what I do have are eyes that worship every part of your being
And hands that are blessed to touch you
And i know right here, right now
That you are my better half
You are way better than playing golf on the moon
Or scoring an injury time goal
I know these words are not lines you dream of
Or might probably be the corniest you ever heard
But anytime i try to describe the way i feel
My mind and heart never seem to agree
For what my heart feels, the mind only understands
But cannot find the words for the tongue to express
All I wanna say now is I do
