Psalm 107
Those who wander far from God
And find no place to dwell
they begin to hunger and to thirst
As they approach the gates of hell
Then they cried out unto God
In the depths of their distress
He delivered them and set them free
And they thanked Him for His goodness
He satisfies the longing soul
He fills the hungry heart
He gives living water from above
And every soul a brand new start
Those who dwell in darkness
And refuse to hear their God
Their hearts are brought down very low
As they rebel against God's word
Then they cried out unto God
In the depths of their distress
He delivered them and set them free
And they thanked Him for His goodness
He has broken down the gates of bronze
And cut the bars of iron in two
The gates of hell shall not prevent
The Lord and what He has to do
Those who say there is no God
Are fools and are afflicted
Their sins will lead them near to death
Unless they are convicted
Then they cried out unto God
In the depths of their distress
He delivered them and set them free
And they thanked Him for His goodness
Gods children often times are caught
In storms that God did send
They discover that they need Gods help
As they come to their wits end
Then they cried out unto God
In the depths of their distress
He delivered them and set them free
And they thanked Him for His goodness
God hears the cries of those who call
He creates rivers in the barren place
But the proud mans voice is never heard
From them He turns His holy face

Psalm 130
Out of the depths of my soul I have cried
Will you hear me O Lord is my plea?
Will you come to me quickly in my distress?
Will you come Lord and set me free?
The weight of my sins would crush me O Lord
And without you no one could stand
Your forgiveness and mercy have set me free
And salvation it comes by your hand
The mercy of God is abundant indeed
And hope is held tight in the night
And my hungry soul in the famine you'll feed
And the dawn shall be a glorious sight

Psalm 143
Will I ever see the morning?
Will this darkness give me rest?
It has both its hands around my throat
My soul's in deep distress
And I think of how it used to be
From this dry and dusty land
My soul was watered in the fountains of joy
How you led me by the hand
And in distress my soul cries out
Will you hide your face from me?
I'll die before the morning light
If you don't come and set me free
You are my song my strong high tower
It's unto you I run
Come seek me out, Lord hear my shout
If you don't then I am surely done
Revive me Lord for your name sake
Come set my soul on fire
Take me up from out this hellish pit
Come Lord and raise me up a little higher
That I may fly into they arms
And join that heavenly throng
That dwell before and round about
Your throne with joyous songs

Psalm 136
O give thanks to the Lord all ye people
For His mercies endure forever
Open up thy mouth and make a joyful sound
For God's love is everywhere, it's all around
Even though I was lost and still in my sin
He plagued me relentlessly from deep within
And though I had wandered far from His sight
He came to me when I cried in the night
He delivered me and saved me from all my distress
And my sins He forgave me when I confessed
He struck all my enemies one by one
And so to that place I would never return
He made the sun and the moon and all that with love
He put the stars in the heavens and clouds high above
He redeemed me and loved me and called me by name
I was struck by His presence and was never the same

Myriads of Angels Around
Myriads of angels around me each wondrous day
The God of Commerce is now with me alwasy to stay
The Lord, my Shepherd, makes me not 'lustfully' want
He leads me beside still-waters where goodness is taught
Creatively I'm inspired by Creator-God my dear Friend
The Captain of the Lord of Host delivered me to amend
He’s my Comforter, Counsellor-, and Mighty God supreme
I walk with Him~, in the depths of His 'Deep, ' serene
Myriads of angels~ do carry out God's every Word
People don't listen, but rebel, and think this absurd
But He’s the God of my Fathers, the Great Prince of PEACE
He cancels the false-destiny-god bringing brilliant release

In the midnight hour!!!
Last night my little dancer, came dancing to my door
Last night my little angel, came pumping on the floor
She said, oh come on baby! I got a license for love!
...and if it expires, pray help from above!!!..because,
In the midnight hour, she cried more! more! more!
With a rebel yell, she cried more! more! more!...wow!
In the midnight hour babe...more! more! more!
With a rebel yell! more! more! more!...more, more, more!
She dont like slavery...she wont sit and beg.
But when Im tired and lonely, she sees me to bed.
What set you free, and brought you to me, babe?
What set you free!? I need you here by me...because
In the midnight hour, she cried more! more! more!
With a rebel yell, she cried more! more! more!...wow!
In the midnight hour babe! more! more! more!
With a rebel yell...more! more! more!...more, more, more!
Ill walk the ward, for you babe...
A thousand miles for you...
Id dry your tears, of pain...
A million times, for you...
Id sell my soul, for you babe...
For money to burn, for you...
Id give you all...and have none babe!
Justa...justa...justa...justa, to have you here by me! because
In the midnight hour, she cried more! more! more!
With a rebel yell, she cried more! more! more!...wow!
In the midnight hour babe! more! more! more!
With a rebel yell! she cried, more! more! more!...more, more, more!
Oh yeah, little baby!
She wants more!
More! more! more! more! more!
Oh yeah, little angel!
She wants more!
More! more! more! more! more!

Today... 'Greater than Jonah
Jonah with Jesus could not remotely compare
for none like my Lord Jesus can be found anywhere.
Jonah in his disobedience ran away,
But Jesus in obedience determined to stay.
Into the depths of the sea Jonah was then sent
but into the depths of hell my Saviour went.
For three days under the sea Jonah had to stay
but Jesus in triumph tore the bars of death away.
Jonah cried out to God and from drowning was spared
But my Lord was forsaken and not a soul cared.
Jonah's message to Nineveh was restricted
but my Lords work saved the world as was predicted.
Jesus my Lord and God is far beyond compare
and His glory with another He will not share.
That is why the people on earth heard Him declare
That One much greater than Jonah was standing there.

The Mystery's Of My Despair
In the depths of joy,
My heart is waking,
In the depths of sorrow,
My heart is breaking,
No where to run nowhere to hide,
Must now abandon my pride,
My head held high in the air,
Now all I see is despair,
Mother of goodness father of youth,
Bring back the powers of truth,
No one can tell what lies ahead,
But all will see its full of dread,
Oh great powers, oh great three,
Im begging you set me free,
With every last breath I will share,
The mysteries of my despair.
Psalm 138
I will praise you with my whole heart
In Christ alone I stand
I will worship you with all of me
I will raise your name throughout the land
Out of the depths of my soul I cried
And my King He heard my pleas
By His loving-kindness and His truth
I will come to Him on bended knee
And every King will bow His head
And every prince fall down
And every tongue it shall confess
Before the royal crown
That Jesus Christ is Lord of all
And all the kings of men but dust
All other gods are swept away
In God alone all men must trust
And even in the midst of trouble
Your hand it stretched out to me
Your eye is on the meek and lowly
You came to earth to set them free

Crypts Of Eternity
Devious to those unknown
He walks below the land
Alluring victims to their death
Perish to the sand
Master of the blackened arts
Living his decree
Thrives amongst the Seven Gates
Searching for the keys
I have seen the darkened depths of Hell
Sorcery beyond the witches' spell
Robbed the crypts of Death's eternity
Killed the priest and cursed him endlessly
Chants of evil incantation
Fill the murky night
Free the Devil's knights of Hell
Unleash their growing spite
Directing power forcibly
The fire of Hell is cast
Resurrect from crypts of Death
A demon from the past
I have seen the darkened depths of Hell
Sorcery beyond the witches' spell
Robbed the crypts of Death's eternity
Killed the priest and cursed him endlessly
Cringe with fear
Violate the unbroken seal of Hell
Death will come searching for
Your mere soul
Still you are eager to seek your fate
All that lie here are remains of Death
Grinding bones

Be Good
Be a good person
Goodness has no tribe
Goodness has no village
Goodness has no other name
Goodness thrives on any land
In the desert
Goodness is oasis
In the wilderness
Goodness is a pathway
Goodness is required anywhere
It is food to man
It nourishes the giver
And gives happiness to the receiver
Goodness is pleasant
So be good

I did not truly know the depths of love (sonnet)
I did not truly know the depths of love
until I met you, did not really know
of something that is at times selfless
until the day you came into my life
with sunshine in your smile,
a kind of gentleness that is caring
and now with strange bliss in each kiss
it's as if suddenly I am waking,
I am arising in a different world
that is full of goodness, a very special place
where I find peace and the depths of tranquility
as constantly you are true, are sincere without a guise
and to your feelings there come no change
while the days in your company passes far too quickly.

Hell Bent (Part II)
Part II
I kiss the dirt filled pavement floor of my spirit war
Imprisoned by my own understanding
I grope for reasons to lift my eyes to search the sky and ensue this gasp like breathing
I try to hold up high those eternal things
With untethered soul ties and a faith that keeps breaking
I fail to find
The purpose
That will hold this rhythm inside
This aching chest of mine
But I still try
I run head long into a thick wall of rising flames
I crash blistered and broken, angry that my soul remains unchanged
I hurl myself against the Hell's cast iron gates
I howl into the darkness of this spirit war in a full bloody rage
Intent on destroying my soul, mind, and faith
That I might still be saved
I play with Hell fire and dare the flames to brand me
I dance within its heat and faster still as it sends up smoke to claim me
I push past Hell's cast iron gates to face my fears that I might be set free
I call forth this torn up heart from a severed faith that I might find reprieve
I dive into a lake of fire and embrace its suffocating heat
I tread the fiery water that the pain from its flames might deliver me
Exhausted, I lay my soul upon the smoldering coals of the deep
Failing, I sever ties to my spiritual side in hopes of finding peace…
As I fill up with emptiness
and fade from the burning of this consciousness,
I dream
Of every color imaginable bursting forth in Creation's sky
Its strength radiating, calling me forth to rise
To climb out of these flaming depths
With scar filled arms and burning lips
A branded soul and a spirit quenched
Standing upon the ashes of my conquered fears
Overcome within Hell's depths
In a new born sky, I find the Sun
And gently kiss her lips and rest my weary head as She grants me Her forgiveness
Surrendering to Her all my wounds and spirit wars, Her love soothing these judgment scars
I breathe in Her fiery essence, melt into Her arms as she reclaims my heart from the flaming depths
This is my redemption…
I awaken to lift my spirit head and gaze up through the suffocating fire
Yearning for the sun, the heat tempting me to surrender
I collapse.
I take hold of my blistered soul and gather faith's broken pieces
Heat threatening to overtake me
I close my eyes and envision sunlight piercing my darkened sky
And I try…

Phantasmagoria: (The Nightmare)
O what a horrid dream that was!
(though not quite sure)
I found myself in an ancient tomb-
pyramid perhaps-
where reigned a mystery all around;
what a place it was!
yes a grave it was!
the terror of the atmosphere
ceased my thinking faculties...
when suddenly
my eyes were bound to see that scene:
in a box of glass-clear and clean
(from dust of time) i saw something...
but what was that much ugly thing?
a man perhaps?
and dead perhaps?
O what was that?
was he moving?
yes he was!
And then changed
that gruesome vision...
HE was back to life again
to rule, to kill, to fight again-
I found Him couched on a gold throne
placed on human skulls and bones;
He was dressed in a pharoah's dress
o yes, infact, He was a pharoah
everybody there was harrowed.
people were so mute and dumb
on hearing the sound of beating drums.
And who was that?
O goodness heart! yes, that was I
in stranglehold of iron chains,
in endless pain'''
His court was full of savage creatures-
men perhaps...
with frightened, dismal, downcast eyes.
and then I heard
the shrill voice of kingly man;
but what He ordered to His slave
was greek to me...
then suddenly
the sound of drums grew more intense-
and then...O God! ! !
a tall and savage slave,
whose eye-balls threw the flames of fire,
raised an odd but savage slogan
came to me...
drew his bare and deadly sword
and raised his giant-like hands
to cut my head...
I tried to cry:
O goodness heart!
help me in distress my God!
have mercy God!
I cried
and wept
and prayed to him:
just spare my life
don't cut my head,
don't take my life...
Aye what is this?
who pressed my head
and fingered hair with gentle love?
My gracious Maa?
yes, no one else but gracious Maa...do i live?
O yes I do-
am I saved?
O yes i am...
that slave with deadly sword was gone...
thank goodness the dream was gone...
and I am in my mother's room,
free of horror, free of gloom...
my dear Maa!
my gentle, kind and loving Maa!
give your blessed hand again!
take me in your lap again!
thank God
I am back again...

Hymn of the Waldenses
Hear, Father, hear thy faint afflicted flock
Cry to thee, from the desert and the rock;
While those, who seek to slay thy children, hold
Blasphemous worship under roofs of gold;
And the broad goodly lands, with pleasant airs
That nurse the grape and wave the grain, are theirs.
Yet better were this mountain wilderness,
And this wild life of danger and distress--
Watchings by night and perilous flight by day,
And meetings in the depths of earth to pray,
Better, far better, than to kneel with them,
And pay the impious rite thy laws condemn.
Thou, Lord, dost hold the thunder; the firm land
Tosses in billows when it feels thy hand;
Thou dashest nation against nation, then
Stillest the angry world to peace again.
Oh, touch their stony hearts who hunt thy sons--
The murderers of our wives and little ones.
Yet, mighty God, yet shall thy frown look forth
Unveiled, and terribly shall shake the earth.
Then the foul power of priestly sin and all
Its long-upheld idolatries shall fall.
Thou shalt raise up the trampled and oppressed,
And thy delivered saints shall dwell in rest.

Psalm 17
You have tested my heart
In the depths of the night
My transgressions are gone
From you they take flight
You have tried me oh Lord
Refined in your fire
I fell exceedingly low
But you lifted me higher
Under the shadow of your wings
I have taken my place
I hide myself in thee
As I gaze into your face
You arose and delivered
By your mighty sword
Strong is your right arm
In your presence and Word.

Psalm 86
Thy gracious ear, O Lord, encline,
O hear me I thee pray,
For I am poor, and almost pine
With need, and sad decay.
Preserve my soul, for *I have trod Heb. I am good, loving,
Thy waies, and love the just, a doer of good and
Save thou thy servant O my God holy things
Who still in thee doth trust.
Pity me Lord for daily thee
I call; 4 O make rejoyce
Thy Servants Soul; for Lord to thee
I lift my soul and voice,
For thou art good, thou Lord art prone
To pardon, thou to all
Art full of mercy, thou alone
To them that on thee call.
Unto my supplication Lord
Give ear, and to the crie
Of my incessant praiers afford
Thy hearing graciously.
I in the day of my distress
Will call on thee for aid;
For thou wilt grant me free access
And answer, what I pray'd.
Like thee among the gods is none
O Lord, nor any works
Of all that other Gods have done
Like to thy glorious works.
The Nations all whom thou hast made
Shall come, and all shall frame
To bow them low before thee Lord,
And glorifie thy name.
For great thou art, and wonders great
By thy strong hand are done,
Thou in thy everlasting Seat
Remainest God alone.
Teach me O Lord thy way most right,
I in thy truth will hide,
To fear thy name my heart unite
So shall it never slide.
Thee will I praise O Lord my God
Thee honour, and adore
With my whole heart, and blaze abroad
Thy name for ever more.
For great thy mercy is toward me,
And thou hast free'd my Soul
Eev'n from the lowest Hell set free
From deepest darkness foul.
O God the proud against me rise
And violent men are met
To seek my life, and in their eyes
No fear of thee have set.
But thou Lord art the God most mild
Readiest thy grace to shew,
Slow to be angry, and art stil'd
Most mercifull, most true.
O turn to me thy face at length,
And me have mercy on,
Unto thy servant give thy strength,
And save thy hand-maids Son.
Some sign of good to me afford,
And let my foes then see
And be asham'd, because thou Lord
Do'st help and comfort me.

Tired Of Me
You say hold on to the reigns
I say let them go tonight
My brain waves
Confused between what is and aint
She cries groundless and free
.
Tired of the water
Tired of the wine
Tired of the future
Tired of time
Tired of the madness
Tired of the steel
Tired of the violence
Tired of me
.
Used steel
Used steel am i
What was pliable in love
Is now hard and crystallized
The intellect is fine
For counting money
And recalling times
That she cried,
Groundless and free
.
Hope is a letter that never arrives
Delivered by the postman of my fear

Psalm 116
Who steps down from the seat of glory?
Who comes down from the heavens above?
It's my Lord and my King who has heard my cry
Who flies to me on the wings of a dove
It's an incredible thing in the darkness
When its shattered by light from above
Just when I thought there was no more hope
You came down on the wings of a dove
I was falling ever deeper into darkness
And I could see no light from above
And I cried out with all that was in me
And you came down on the wings of a dove
You have delivered my soul from death
And you have filled my soul with love
You restored my crushed and broken heart
When you came down on the wings of a dove
