God’s Eternal Presence
Friend you can see the hand of God, all across this earth men trod.
The presence of God is everywhere, even in lives who do not care.
The Lord is omnipresent friend; a presence man can’t comprehend.
Friend, even in this land of ours, His presence extends to the stars.
And men are blessed in this place, with God’s overwhelming Grace.
This country is blessed abundantly, by The God that man can’t see.
Friend God’s love for us will endure, in this land from shore to shore,
That is, for those men in this life, who’ve come to know Jesus Christ.
But there are men on another path, heading for God’s Eternal Wrath.
He is also a God of Justice friend, and He shall put all evil to an end.
As vengeance belongs to The Lord; and His judgment will be poured.
That’s when every eye shall see, Jesus Christ is The Lord of Eternity.
But His Mercy God extends to all, all under the curse of Adam’s fall.
A mercy to us, so underserved, for the sinfulness that we’ve served.
The death that we’re deserving of, Christ justified through His Love.
The Love of His Son Jesus Christ, who on the cross paid that price.
The Love of God is second to none, for He sent to us His Only Son,
Christ who died a death on a cross, a sinless lamb slain for the lost.
God’s gift to men sent from above, Gracious Mercy wrapped in Love.
And through the death of Jesus Christ, all men can gain Eternal Life.

Lord God, can we ask for your presence,
for a sign of your grace
and let your rain, sun and wind contribute
to the wonder of the coming summer
in the decoration of colours from your hand
and let grass, leaves and flowers now appear
and where it is rather dry,
hear my lament.
Lord God, can we ask for your presence,
for birds to whistle in tree branches,
singing songs about the growth that you bring
in the decoration of colours from your hand
that all flowers that this spring brings
becomes a sign, that you still guard us against evil
and let your rain, sun and wind contribute
to new life that appears,
let even my own conceit die, that my life
sing songs about the growth that you bring
and let me act to your will
and remove all inequity, all damage.
Lord God, can we ask for your presence,
that I always keep my eyes on you elevated high,
that the mistakes of my youth disappear
and remove my inequity, that my life
can become aimed to where you lead, bringing your love across
that I glitter like a light, a star in your Pleiades
let your rain, sun and wind contribute
that my life can shine bright for you,
and others can see your character in me,
that the mistakes of my youth disappear
that every word and deed from me represents your great love
to the whole of humanity, my children and wife.

The Tree And The Breeze
Have you ever noticed how the trees sway with the breeze?
It's as if they were dancing in rhythm with a mellow tune
Have you ever notice how a tree is home to a bird's nest...
where the birds rest?
It's as if the tree were a peaceful and relaxed get-away
From where their troubles stray
But then the tree also has another side
In which it can take the birds for a bit of a ride
It is its party side...
when a pile of birds get together in one tree...
to sing along to the breeze as back and forth it sways the tree

Poem: Release the Songbird in Me
O my Lord of mercy and grace -
I desire to write more spiritual verse,
while flying on your notes of blessings
and overcoming Mankind’s sin curse.
My heart’s singing of your joy,
as You feed me by Your hand
the fullness of Thy melodic Word;
thus enabling… my ability to understand.
O Lord, give flight to my words
while I’m attuned to Your Spirit –

Your works display your righteousness, Lord,
and your love and mercy I cannot comprehend,
even your wisdom and power is without end,
Your sincerity is displayed in your word
but the works of my enemies prosper
and they are men, who do not honour you,
whose lives, whose words are never true,
while all my endeavours end in disaster
and Sir, at times I am struggling to know
if you view me as a enemy or as a friend,

O Lord you have seen my afflictions
