Fratres Minores
With minds still hovering above their testicles
Certain poets here and in France
Still sigh over established and natural fact
Long since fully discussed by Ovid.
They howl. They complain in delicate and exhausted metres
That the twitching of three abdominal nerves
Is incapable of producing a lasting Nirvana.

Poets of The Electron Dream
There is a single factum
for the current century
which has
All Meaning
for Poetry.
The Physicists
have
since the 1920's
told us that electrons
can be in two different places
simultaneously.
The Principle of Uncertainty.
They have finally caught up with
Poets who
have long
argued that
Poetry comes
through
many times
from somewhere else;
other channels
sometimes unknown to
the Poet who
often hurries
to write down
new poems
originating
from venues
which seem to burst through
to consciousness;
Whole Cloth
and fully formed.
Commonplace
yet it has never
been explained:
how this could be?
But now
we all
have to take seriously
that not only electrons
can be here and there
simultaneously,
but perhaps too
so can I and you.
Taking this idea seriously
is to understand
that an Idea
in the human mind
has electrons too
and that any idea
may have in fact
come not only from you
but also from that other you
that is not in the room
that may in fact simultaneously
exist
in parallel
somewhere else
leading a slightly different
life Poetically.
A second point made
in Physics labs
is that electrons
everywhere
pop in and out of existence
instantly;
constantly.
But where do they go when they go
and from where are they coming back from?
Finally, there is physical proof that
Electron A with a positive charge,
if changed to a negative one, will
cause its match
all the way across the universe
to revert its charge to positive.
All matter
therefore is
in constant contact
across all of the Universe
at the same time.
This is the 'Theory of Inflation'
Actually not a theory mind you.
At this point a proven fact.
Poets have long argued
'The Connectedness of All Things'
Now it seems
the Physicists
are agreeing;
boggled minds
in the laboratory
are now
sounding like
Poets of the Electron Dream.
Either Physicists are now Poets
or Poets created Physicists.

Magic Verses
what does a poet gain
but the soothing nerves
as one traverses the mental
landscape of those who have
eschewed our words, love them
so much they have spun a web of nirvana
where both readers and poets can meet
to see and feel the full splendour of verses

Established
Fixed.
Like a cornerstone.
Or a sidewalk one has known,
And made from cement.
In one's mind.
The placement has been established.
Pointless would be the argument.
Whether or not what one witnesses,
Does in fact exist.
Fixed to become established it is.
An invention of a gadget one has to have!
Fixed!
To remember it and not to forget.
A melody.
An impression made,
By something done that never leaves.
A relationship that begins.
With an acknowledgement felt,
When a union begins to not end.
Like lessons learned in our minds,
That somehow stick.
Fixed to become established,
An event that happens...is!

I don't know if younger poets read a lot of, you know, the poets - the established poets. There was a lot of pretty boring stuff to sort of put up with and to add to, to make something vital from.

There Are A Few Poets
THERE ARE A FEW POETS
There are a few poets
Beyond the poetry you and I know
And are capable of –
There are a few poets
Who seem to write a poetry
Which is Poetry itself,
A Poetry which is everything Poetry should be-
Those poets are somewhere else
On a level far beyond any we can hope to reach-
They are Poetry –
And we we are the little listeners and readers
Who can in awe and praise worship
What we ourselves will forever be incapable of.

A New Footnote To Howl
Howl for the dollar suckers, the shake amarni makers
Howl for the rolex souls with their calls to Frankfurt
Howl for the poets who quote in Italian who don`t know how to laugh
Howl for the ice children waiting for buses
Howl for the mobiles with cheap words full of soap
Howl for sons who drive to funerals in cabrios
Howl for the droners who giggle when killing
Howl for moons falling into beer-sodden parks
Howl for kid angels sorting junk in the morning
Howl for gods who wear pictures on their arms
Howl for bombers chasing whores in the sky
Howl for the motherless kissing tins in supermarkets
Howl for the acid faced brides of a lost country
Howl for the pissers, the quick fixers and the holy drinkers
praying on pavements.
Holy occupy holy resistance holy lennon holy allen holy
ernesto and all the prophets who know that
everybody is truth, let them be blessed for
the hard days to come. moving.

A Fun Or Fate Poetry Writing?
Poetry writing has become a matter of fun!
With play of words many indulge in this fun;
Fun without fact will make poetry quite inept.
Fun or fate, some write poetry with true fact!
There are many things for them to have fun,
But it has become easy to play in poetry sites.
Also there are comments, voting and ranking;
These make them play this game regularly!
Fact is some are born poets in these sites also!
It is quite true some become poets sooner here!
Also it happens that some are branded as poets!
So goes the survival of these sites by this fun!
No poetry can survive long without fun and fact;
Fun or fate, poetry has become a part of life ever!

Lycanthropy
Lyrical poetry is fantastic
Lycanthropy may exert all
The song contains a magical act
Werewolves will be luxuriant
And may their offspring commit
Lyricists shall complain
Why do they sing as a howl?
The answer lies in the moon
A crescent moon
That emerges from the sky when dark
Metres of rain are detected
Followers of Satan shall convene
Connected to each other
The army of demonic virtue collides
With the threatening nature of lycanthropy
They spit and splash in the mayhem
Moons will pass as a howl
The spring is not the summer
And if you want to die
Please do show the werewolf some luxury
Lycanthropes are against us
As this war is the footman
We cancel our metatarsus
In those feet are symbols
Emblems are attached signifying growing hair
Then the body is wrong
We are werewolves
Surprised and distrusted
Feeling agony and talent
Our war is over under the Moon

It's A Natural Fact
You tell me to trust in you
That your love is forever real
I never even doubted you
Because that's how I too feel
It's A Natural Fact
You ask me to wait for you
And your return soon again
I've been waiting ever since
For your love I can depend
It's A Natural Fact
You ask me to love you only
With all my heart and might
Haven't you already noticed
I will love you all of my life
It's A Natural Fact

We As Poets
We as poets must command a sacred accent over a language of our choice,
We as poets must gift the minds of a failing generation,
We as poets must demand a clear explanation and a fair occupation,
We as poets must dissolve into particles and dust if we have not known enough,
We as poets must destroy the living standards of low quality,
We are to be the poetry of utmost perception and suffering.

Army Of Me
Stand up
You've got to manage
I won't sympathize
Anymore
And if you complain once more
You'll meet an army of me
You're allright
There's nothing wrong
Self-sufficience please!
And get to work
And if you complain once more
You'll meet an army of me
You're on your own now
We won't save you
Your rescue-squad
Is too exhausted
And if you complain once more
You'll meet an army of me

In the old days... it was a basic, cardinal fact that producers didn't have opinions. When I was producing natural history programmes, I didn't use them as vehicles for my own opinion. They were factual programmes.

Eighteenth-Nineteenth Century Verse
France is the country of poems and prose
the lovely French language tells us so.
Romantic love in classical verse
dates back to Voltaire from days long ago.
The 18th century brought poets from Paris
writing about France and the Seine,
and so many other Parisian wonders
that lie in that fertile plain.
Yes France was a country of talent
In England, Wordsworth stole the scene
whilst Coleridge, another fine English poet
wrote lyrical verse about Pastures Green.

Head Howl
Not everyone can get
the things running down on your little head
not every single person can see
the things twirling on your twisted head
the things you can pull out of your hectic fantasy
No one has the right
or the right instinct
to testify
the things that happened in your head last night
No one can explain the reason you said you had to fight
should we decry the candles for burning so bright and gloomy?
was it the burning light?
or the trembling grin of a shadow that stayed still?
of a shadow that got to obsess your rusty dark old mind?
Was it you fighting as a mighty knight?
or were you that poor crippler creeping and begging
for some candles to light on
for some hysteria to speak on
for some pain to go on
for some function to keep it on
for some twisted function your head protects
in order for you to not lose the way
in your reverted battle
and the reaper stands above your head
You are the only thing among the wronged
that is sentenced any way
But there are still things that you can gain
even if your mind after all that time, stays the same
I say, you can still find things in the loss
you can still gain time in the loss
or feelings you ignored
an instant howl that once consoled
your artificial mind
If you are still able to escape
throw behind you the little stones
that will lead you back, ‘cause it's you, you will return
On the side of the warms you crawl
on the side of the ravens you howl
on the side of the crocodiles you cry
on the side of the losers you still give up
and on the side of the winners, you put off the fight
For there is a big howl in your mind
for there is an uncontrolled hole in your mind
trying to follow it with your eye
but your eye blinks too many times
to be able to find some space to breathe
before the light
to catch the lonely inconsolable glimpses of your twisted mind
for your pupil has so much expanded in the dark
that you are used to show already way too much
for your endless fight has given the opponent the right key
to open the night
the night that you have inside
that grows older and still stronger than you
the gloomy night that keeps you behind
and you smile for this retardation
for you are not ready
to howl, enough
So howl!
What are you expecting of, howl…
But I keep seeing with a tear and a sigh in my soul
that you are not even ready to crawl
for if you want to gain, you should lose again
for if you want to stay, you should fall again
and crawl, crawl in the dirt
in the dust where you spit
the things you say you do not like to be
the parts that made you the person from whom you cannot get away
you do not get to see
you should crawl first
and fall
in the parts of you, you dropped and chopped
behind where is the one truth you left to call
the only truth that stands you
the only glimpse that will destroy your fight
and will prepare you for the coveted howl
You are the only howl in your head
that never found the time to run away
Is it the howl you deny?
or is it the sense of freedom
you shall taste
haunting you
hidden behind the crawl, keeping you behind?
You are dying
fight and howl
or lose the fight, howl and crawl
exhausted from what you did not do
exhausted from the howl
you never got to fool
Your head might,
might fly
when you are ready to give up.
Free as you already are
you will never be ready to give up.
Exhausted from the howl that creates you.
