My Daughter, My Pride

Like a thousand needles, the pain shot through me
It was only for a few seconds but it felt like a life time you see
And as suddenly as it came, it stopped
And I ceased the moment to grab the phone, but then my heart stopped
As I realized it wasn't working
Damned phone, of all days to stop working
Shhh, calm down my Angelica
It's going to be okay, I silently whispered, the clinic is not that far
I grabbed my coat, car keys and rushed to the car
I sat there for a while as a rush of pain shot through me again
Another few seconds of pain
And my foot was on the pedal
And I drove like a racer seeking a medal
Counting down hoping the next pains would be at the stop sign
I made it just in time
And after hours of excruciating pain
I gave birth to a princess born from pain
But, with one gummy smile
She wiped it all away and my heart couldn't help but smile
16 years later, growing up so quickly
My Angelica was the town's beauty
Her beautiful locks of golden hair were tied in a bun
Pearls gracing her hair glittered when in the sun
She had a natural beauty
God's finest creation, splendor was her duty
Deep emerald green eyes
Long sooty lashes to shade her eyes
Skin so creamy, so fair she must have bathed in milk
Her lilac dress made from the finest silk
Angelica, so rightly named, she was of heavenly beings
For all she needed was a halo and a pair of wings
She had worked so hard to be the best
And now she earned a role well above the rest
The prima donna of the ballet
The swan in Swan Lake the famous ballet
How I longed that your father had been here to see this moment
See you shine, your hour your moment
I am sure he is watching you down from above
And smiling down proudly with lots of love
I cannot wait for the day she becomes someone's bride
My daughter, my pride

The Pained

I can see it in her eyes
The pain gnawing at her on and on
I can feel it too
Same as I can feel my own pain

For days we would fleetingly
Look at each others eyes
I know she can feel my pain
Same as she can feel her own

Comes a time
When I long for those fleeting seconds
Oh when will the opening be
When will the sharing be

Then did the moment come a day
What the eyes knew
Spoken through the mouth
Pain and pain intertwined

We did become
Companions in pain
Sometimes ecstasy, sometimes sweet pain
Yes bearable pain

But then did life take her
Ended her pain for all times
Leaving me with a thousandfold
Pain and pain

The Broken Heart

Can i ever forget that you ever existed in my heart,
Knowing the pain it caused me deep down my heart.
Each time i think of how it all got to this very point,
Only helps to send shock waves down my spines and joints.
It seems the joy you brought to my life,
Was cut short before it even began with a knife.
It seems you lasted just for few days,
While deep down my heart i long for you everyday.
Wishing and hoping we can go back to the day i found you,
When the whole of my life changed to brand new.
Bringing to me the happiness i never once felt before,
And an ebullient love i once hoped for.
You gave me hope for a better tomorrow,
By erasing all of my unending sorrows.
You gave me a great sense of humour,
Each time there is a scene of a tumour.
You made my life as sweet as it can be,
Even when there are things that can sting me like a bee.
How can i forget that amazing smile of yours,
That kept me dazzling beyond many hours.
How about the joy you gave me knowing that you are my best friend,
Went a long way to bring all my fears to an end.
And then every thing fell apart,
The very moment you left by breaking my heart.
First you made every thing seems like an horrible nightmare,
And brought to me an emotional darkness in an hare.
You turned every Grimes of happiness to pain,
And every traces of love to lain.
Making my eyes abated with tears,
More than what my heart can bear.
Pain of a broken heart is all i can feel,
And the aching of a bleeding knee.
All i have now is an empty and shattered heart,
That needs a taste of a rebirth.
It all happened very fast,
And now i'll try to put every thing in the past.
And keep hoping for a better future,
Without the glance of your picture.
All i know is that no matter the way it may seem,
You'll forever in my heart remain evergreen.

You've Been Wrong

you've been wrong for so long
and i can't take the pain you bring me
no more
you've been wrong for so long
and i can't take the pain you bring me
no more
friday night it's 10 15
you're working late am i naive
to believe that it's true
finally i've realized
your lies have opened up my eyes
this love affair now it's over over
you've been wrong for so long
and i can't take the pain you bring me
no more
you've been wrong for so long
and i can't take the pain you bring me
no more
here we go over again
ya got me hangin' on a limb
i recommend that you leave
what do i do
what do u say
when i love you
and you don't feel the same
don't wanna play no more games
i don't wanna play it now
you've been wrong for so long
and i can't take the pain you bring me
no more
you've been wrong for so long
and i can't take the pain you bring me
no more
baby won't you
stop look listen to my heart
it's crying for you
stop look listen to my heart
it's falling for you
stop look listen to my heart
it's calling for you
stop look listen to my heart
it's finally over you
you've been wrong for so long
and i can't take the pain you bring me
no more
you've been wrong for so long
and i can't take the pain you bring me

Broken Chances

My Love,

I don't know how you're going to get this,
But it is my last word on this Earth.
Just what ever you do sit alone and read this.
I want you to be at the lake where you gave me my first kiss,
I want you to sit by the tree that held us, and read this.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You were my love, my only one person who always made me smile,
You held my hand through so many things, so many firsts.
You were my light you were my smile
And you told me the three deadly words,
The words that always kill, but first make you smile.
I have sewed my mouth shut, so you will never see me smile.
I would melt at the sound of your voice,
I would just sit and listen just to know you were really there,
I would call when you weren't home, just to hear your voice.
My wish every day was to hear you say 'I love you',
To hear your voice.
I have glued my ears so I don't have to listen to your lies.
I remember the feeling of your hands running through my hair,
You'd weave your fingers through it to comfort me,
Sometimes I would act sad just to feel your fingers in my hair,
I would silently smile and melt in your arms.
I remember your fingers running through my blond hair.
I have cut my hair so I can never remember that feeling.
U can see you standing looking at me with your sparkling eyes,
I always see you,
I can never see past those deep eyes,
I can see you smile at me, see your hands reach for mine.
I can still see your eyes.
I have cut my eyes out so I can never again fall into your deceiving eyes.
You made my heart race with butterflies, with hope.
I gave you my heart to keep, you said you'd never break it,
You gave me the one thing i needed ti keep going; hope.
And I fell for the traps, I gave you EVERYTHING.
I ave you all the hope I held in my heart, my soul.
I have stabbed my heart, just so you can't shatter what's already broken.
You became my life, you became my love, my everything.
No matter what happened I still loved you,
And no matter what I tried to give you everything,
And you made me loose so much that I'm left with nothing,
And with my dying breath I give you what was all I had left, my everything.
I take my life to show you what love really means, that it's not the lie you told.
I may not be able to smile when you hold me,
I may not be able to hear your words even if their truth,
I may not be able to remember you soothing touch, or your warmth,
I mat not be able to see your eyes, or your reaching hands,
I may not be able to press my beating heart against your skin,
I may not be able to give you a second chance, for like my heart it is broken,
But After the pain and lies, I believe in what I felt for you,
And hope maybe someday you'll believe the same, and find beauty from pain
Even with nothing left to give you but my word, I breath my last breath for you.
I lay in silence to let you live, to give to you a broken second chance,
For I will always love you,
Be............
Pain Of Existence Without.....
It was pain of existence without your phone calls.....
This pain was not related to time, as time moved on.....
but the pain remained, pain and more pain....
without a phone call from you........
Time started moving, but there was no phone call, , , , , ,
I was lost with the acute awareness of this great pain.....
pain and more pain......
I wish I could tell you how much your phone calls mean to me, , , , ,
what if we have not met, what if we have not seen each other
but dear your phone call is what makes me pull through my day....
your voice is a magic to me, it is music to my ears....
but dear you never called.... and the pain remains...
The pain reminds me of the wonderful times we had....
the long phone calls.... your voice, your silence, , your moans
all this was so wonderful, which meant so much to me....
but dear you never called........
come back and call me dear...... and tell me how much I mean to you
call me once my love........
I wait for your magic voice, for all wonderful things you tell me....
for all the beautiful moments over phone we had.......
I wait with great pain, pain and pain.....
Just to hear you..... or get a message from you
Your messages are my breakfast, my dinner, , , ,
I sleep thinking of you hearing you, reading you...
I wake up to read your message..........
But dear you never called you never messaged....
come back just once my love come back
I just want to tell how much I miss your voice.............
A Beautiful Pain You've Caused
A beautiful pain you've caused
Worthy of praise and thought
But the morning announced this ill
That morning I first met you here
I fooled my own self, my heart
And childishly ignored that qualm (hunch)
That warned me against your ways
I made myself blind and deaf
Still now that nothing remains
I ask you to quiet this pain
My sense of loss heavy weighs
Can't move onto better days
And might as I try, I must
I must not deny my cry
It empties this pain inside
This beautiful pain you caused
It is senseless this sense of loss
For I always knew it would come
You never were in disguise
I knew well you were tainted, vile
Call me foolish for wanting you then
Call me heartless for wanting you now
I keep hurting myself with you
Even now when my pain has worn out
Pain Of Losing You
I’m going through the pain of losing you
It’s a pain I can not bear
I always had your love, with you
That I could share.
So many memories that flash through my mind
Of all those precious moments and all the beautiful times.
Of walking down the street holding each others hand
Smiling with each other, and the future that we planned.
Sitting in the park till the moment that it got dark
Then looking up to the sky, and trying to count the stars.
When looking in your eyes, I felt like I was floating
High in the sky with all the stars above
Searching every star for your everlasting love.
I recall when we met, it seems so long ago
That I had asked you if you wanted to see a show.
You gave me a smile which I never could forget
Then you cracked a joke that I remember yet.
All these memories stay running in my mind
And I can’t stop them, and I don’t want to try.
Memories are like the ocean waves that
Beat against the shores, they are here now
And will be forever more.
The pain of losing you leaves me angry deep inside
For I know, that it wasn’t your time to die.
I know that GOD works in mysterious ways
And every night I ask him, as I get on my knees to pray.
I saw you in my dreams last night, and I heard
You gently say, that you truly love me
But with GOD you have to stay.
He had taken you for a reason which I would
Not understand, but everything you do was
to help your fellow man.
So with a sadness that I feel deep in my heart
With these words I love you, we will now part.
We will be together in the afterlife
And that’s when I’ll ask you if you’ll be my wife.
If Heaven Could Wait
If Heaven Could Wait by Kenny Davis
If heaven could wait
If only for a year
If only, but a slight moment longer
One chance more to hold her near
If heaven could only wait
If only just for a night
That my eyes may have a chance at one last glance
At her beauty once more in the moonlight
If heaven could only wait
If only for one last sunrise
A moment to gaze upon the majestic horizon
As the sun glistens from her eyes
If heaven could only wait
If only for an hour
Time to hold her tight
Before a time spent without her
Lord, why would you bless me with a love like this
Only to have it taken away
Can I please just have this one moment longer?
Oh, if heaven could only wait
If heaven could only wait
All I simply ask for is time
For the man who is blessed to have her heart
And for the woman proudly holding mine
Is it possible for heaven to wait?
If only for, but a season
One last chance to cherish moments with her
Please allow me this minute more within reason
Lord, please understand
Leaving her so soon, is very hard
To call up my soul from hers
Would cause me to shed heartbroken tears from the stars
Can Heaven have a time to wait?
To avoid this momentary hurt
Although I would love nothing more than to be with you Lord
She is, but my only tie here to this Earth.
After all of this pain, all of this time
I have finally found the one you have made for me
You have divinely favored me to find true love here on Earth
Only to tell me now I must leave?
If heaven could only wait
Long enough to have one last cry
As I look into her eyes, as we say our last goodbyes
Before you call me in the sky
It’s hard to say such things as this
When being with her and God means so much
I would die to be with both of them
From them, I would die for one last touch
Ebony Princess
Her hair was as black as the calm of the night
And was as black and as dark as I could see
Her body slowly moved like a bird in flight
I saw her, and I was overwhelmed by her beauty.
Her eyes they shined like a full moon glistened
And her smile was that of a new day sun
My soul before her was locked away in prison
And releasing that key, it had already begun.
Her skin was as soft as the finest silk
And her lips they tempted me with their mystery
Her teeth they sparkled and was white as milk
And her skin, was the color of ebony.
I looked at her and then my look became a stare
She became my muse and also my destiny
Her skin was dark and black was her hair
Then she whispered in my ear, "Don't forget me".
"Don't Forget me", she whispered those words to me
And like a raven with secrets she went away
With her skin so soft and the color of ebony
I pray again that we would meet again one day.
Her name forever is locked inside of my heart
And it will be lost, until to God her name I will confess
Until then if any man asks me who was the beauty of my art
My answer will be, my sweet and beautiful ebony princess.
Life's Beginning
When does life begin?
Some say at conception
Others say at birth
For me, life began
The moment I met you
Before we met, I existed
Alive but not living
Then you changed all that
Simply by saying hello
Some animals are born blind
As I was to the beauty all around me Then you and your love opened my eyes and made me see
As in any birth, there was some pain
We both shared our pains with each other
Pains that would soon be replaced
By the joy of a new love being born
And where there is love, there is life
Seconds
All day
Hiding from the sun
Waiting for the golden one
Waiting for your fame
After the parade has gone
Outside was a happy place
Every face had a smile like the golden face
For a second
Your knuckles white as your fingers curl
The shot that was heard around the world
For a second
It took seconds of your time to take his life
It took seconds
It took seconds of your time to take his life
It took seconds
It took seconds of your time to take his life
It took seconds of your time to take his life
Seconds
Seconds
It took seconds of your time to take his life
It took seconds
It took seconds of your time to take his life
It took seconds
For a second
It took seconds of your time to take his life
It took seconds
It took seconds of your time to take his life
It took seconds
It took seconds of your time to take his life
My Pain
Pain is the greatest emotion
Far beyond equal to all water in the ocean
Taken it in a bottle, you get one potion
I tasted it
The Pain, is crushing my bones
The Pain, is tearing apart my love
I thought I could handle it and take it on my shoulders.
But pain never got any holder.
This pain i got
It's like a straight highway to hell
This pain is even greater than the time the fallen angle fell
I tasted it
This Pain, is stretching my veins
This Pain, is causing me to hate
This pain feels ridiculously strong
Especially now that I'm all alone
All the sorrow caused in one moment
I didn't know it could happen in one movement
This pain is eating me from the inside
But Then I woke up and realized
That this pain erased all my fears
But why do i still see your eyes full of tears
And i understand there is some pain that will never go away
The pain when we split our way.
Tribute To Mom
You loved your children much
You were born at a tough time in history
You were born in a rough place
I can only imagine the pain you felt
When they said you were not good enough
Simply because of your complexion
Simply because of where you came from
Though rejected
You never stopped smiling
Never stopped encouraging
Never stopped loving
Hope He cleanse your spirit
Of all impurities
And present you holy
Holy to the Almighty
I remember the good you did
I remember how you cared for me
Even when I was sick
I remember
The last time I saw you
You were in excruciating pain
You were in your last days
May the Lord keep you
Until we meet again
In Jesus name
Amen!
Pretty Lil' Princess
A pretty little princess danced before my eyes
Soon we shared these loving longing sighs
Skin so fair i feared it would shatter
If my hand were to touch it with just a soft patter
Long silky black hair bright rosy cheeks
I drempt of her each night for weeks and weeks
Skin so fair, such ebony hair
I longed to see her pose so i could sit and stare
Rosy red rosy cheeks
I hear a symphony when she speaks
Golden smile of pearly white teeth
A blossoming bloom just out of reach
My heart to hold my soul to teach
A blossoming bloom is not out of reach
At last I have held her and she did not melt
At last she knows what passion i've felt
So many days her radiant beauty shined
So many days on thoughts of her i've dined
A radiant beauty with ebony hair
I long to pose her and sit and stare
I long to kiss her skin so fair
This radiant beauty with ebony hair
Pretty little princess stands on her tiptoes
kissed my face and kissed my nose
Pretty little princess alights up off the ground
I know for a while i must have you around
Father Daughter Moments
My daughter said something the other day
We were sitting on the front steps, talking
Someone wanted to enter the building, she stood up and said 'we're just having a father daughter moment'
My daughter is still young, only 27
And hearing her say that, my heart swelled with pride
She still wants to have moments with her father
My adult daughter still needed me
So much is said about the mother-daughter bond
But there's an even stronger bond between a father and a daughter
No matter how old she is, she's still daddy's little girl
And he always wants to be there for her
Father daughter moments last a lifetime
From playground accidents to a broken heart
You do your best to help her pain go away
Because when she's in pain, you are too
Constant Pain
You don't know what it's like to have Pain, every time you take a
breath or even breathe.
You don't know what it's like to have to hold your breathe each time the
bus turns a curve
You don't know what it's like when you're standing and you have to move
but you don't want to because you will be in Pain
You don't know what it's like to get up and know that you are going to be
in Pain most of the day
You don't know what it's like for your heart to beat fast as if you just
ran a mile even though you only walked a few feet
You don't know what it's like to be in never ending Pain
You don't know what it's like to sit and in be in Pain
You don't know what it's like to not want to walk because with each step
it will make your hip hurt
You don't know what it's like to sit on your bed and wait for your heart
to beat normally
You don't know what it's like to have Pain in your arm that is writing
this
You don't know what it's like to wait for the Pain to stop
You don't know that it's like to see your hand move because something
inside your chest is beating way above normal
You just don't know what it's like
You don't know what it's like to not want to sleep
You don't know what it's like to experience Pain every time your back his
straight
You don't know what it's like to have my Pain
You will never know what it's like to have my Pain
You will never know and you will never try
My Pain is my Pain, no one else's
It is my burden to bear. I bear it alone. I will bear it alone till I
change my mind
It's not anytime soon. I'm sorry.
You don't know what it like for something to bleed on your hand when you
don't know how you got it to bleed
You don't know what it's like to not want to take a deep breathe because
if you do, you will just be in Pain and sometimes, you just can't help it
Where Do Broken Hearts Go?
Standing, here in silence
watching the fallen rains.
Like tears pour down a million times
That I gathered into my palms.
These are the particles of pain
That I felt deep inside.
And I tried to blow it away
towards the crying sky.
And let them join in the wind
Let the pain fly high as mountain
To ease all my pain.
I try to smile so the hurt won’t show
Laughing along with the ringing yellow bell
To dissipate the sorrow in my heart
My heart is drowning
Because of so much loving you
I stay so much close to you
To embrace your heart with my love
But somehow,
as the moment, I held you
I felt pain and its tearing me apart.
Where do broken hearts go?
Can it find a way back home?
Is somebody will loves too
To heal a broken heart.
Ordinary Pain
When by the phone
In vain you sit
You very soon in your mind realize that its not just
An ordinary pain in your heart
When you by chance
Go knock on her door
Walkin away youre convinced that its much more
Than just an ordinary pain in your heart
Its more than just
An ordinary pain in your heart
When you catch up
But she says goodbye
Hold back your tears and before you start to cry
Say you feel unnecessary pain in your heart
Tell her youre glad
Its over in fact
Can she take with her the pain she brought you back
Takin that ordinary pain from your heart
Its more than just
An ordinary pain from your heart
Dont fool yourself
But tell no one else
That its more than just
An ordinary pain
In your heart
In your heart
In your heart
Part ii
Youre just a masachistic fool
Because you knew my love was cruel
You never listened when they said
Dont let that girl go to your head
But like a play boy you said no
Or*di*nary pain
This little girl mind you will blow
Or*di*nary pain
But then I blew you out the box
Or*di*nary pain
When I put my stuff on key and lock
Or*di*nary pain
It makes me feel kind of sick
Or*di*nary pain
To know love put you in a trick
Or*di*nary pain
I knew our love would have to end
Or*di*nary pain
The day I made it with your friend
Or*di*nary pain
Giving your love to one unreal
Or*di*nary pain
Like a big fool I know you feel
Or*di*nary pain
But in this lovie-dovie game
Or*di*nary pain
With all its joy there must be pain
Or*di*nary pain
But now the time has surely come
Or*di*nary pain
This game dont seem like so much fun
Or*di*nary pain
Youre cryin big corcodile tears
Or*di*nary pain
Dont match the ones Ive cried for years
Or*di*nary pain
When I was home wainting for you
Or*di*nary pain
You were out somewhere doing the do
Or*di*nary pain
You know Id really like to stay
Or*di*nary pain
But like you did Ive go to play
Or*di*nary pain
Youre dumb to think Id let you be
Or*di*nary pain
Scott free without some pain from me
Or*di*nary pain
I heard your song and took a chance
Or*di*nary pain
But to your music I cant dance
Or*di*nary pain
Go tell your story sob-sad
Or*di*nary pain
About you blowin what you had
Or*di*nary pain
Since one aint good enough for you
Or*di*nary pain
Then do yourself see how you do
Or*di*nary pain
Or*di*nary pain
Or*di*nary pain
Or*di*nary pain
Or*di*nary pain
Get It Together
One shot to your heart without breaking your skin
No one has the power to hurt you like your kin
Kept it inside, didnt tell no one else
Didnt even wanna admit it to yourself
And now it just burns in your backaches
From 15 years of holding the pain
And now you only have yourself to blame
If you continue to live this way
[chorus:]
Get it together
You wanna heal your body
You have to heal your heart
Whatsoever is so you will reap
Get it together
You can fly fly
Talk future ahead of me
Thats what they say
Id be starving if I ate all the lies they fake
Cause Ive been redeemed from your anguish and pain
A miracle child Im floating on the clouds
Cause the words that come from your mouth
Youre the first to hear
Speak of words of beauty and you will be there
No matter what he devices
What matters is matters what you think of yourself
[chorus]
The choice is yours
No matter what it is
To choose life is to choose to forgive
You dont have to try
To hurt him and break his pride
To shake that weight off
And you will be ready to fly
One shot to your heart without breaking your skin
No one has the power to hurt you like your friends
Thought it will never change but this time moved on
An ugly duckling grew up to be a swan
And now it just burns in your backaches
Because now beads are showing upon your face
But youre never really happy
And you never behold
Until you see the beauty in growing hope
