Sunset's Reflection

Looking out through my window, what beauty I did see,
One magic impression, perfect for photography.
Gold skies you’d think that only a painter could create,
But it is so real not something you might fabricate,

Colours so glorious, and unbelievably fine,
As the sun starts sinking slowly behind the tall pine,
To view it, it is something beyond comprehension,
I thought that this was worth bringing to your attention.

For when a sunset’s reflection covers the whole sky,
So vivid is the hue, that it overwhelms the eye.
The single colour I observed was just amazing,
A vast vision that suddenly set my heart blazing,

It is there for just a moment, then gone in a trice,
But to stand looking in awe is enough to suffice.
For only a brief second, one instant in a trance,
There is joy on receiving such a fantastic chance.

The Spirit Of Sunset

There is magic at the end of everyday
You can see it on the horizon of play.
The sun slowly drops down to take a rest,
And then we lay down for the night until the morning crest.

There is beauty in every sunset, open your eyes to see perchance.
You may see the Sunset Spirit rest upon the suns departing glance
Her beauty is beyond reproach; her eyes leave a lasting impression.
And although she does not speak, her lips speak the night's confession.

The Sunset Spirit is this and more, she comes from the suns inner core.
She guides are sunsets for our pleasure, so that we are left wanting more
Her lust for attention motivates her, to show all of sunset's glory.
But, this my friends is truly only half of this beautiful story.

The Sunset Spirit has always been and she will always be,
For she has been set upon this earth at the Lord Gods decree
The Sunset Sprit is a savior to ensure the beauty that we all see,
But most of all she is the beauty in the sunset, that always comforts me.

REB (MAY 2012) I Love the sunsets, and to see the real beauty of them, you just have to open our eyes.

Green and blue

Green and blue
First-named of colours believe these two.
They first of colours by men were seen
This grass colour, tree colour,
Sky colour, sea colour,
Magic-named, mystic-souled, blue and green.
Later came
Small subtle colours like tongues of flame,
Small jewel colours for treasure trove,
Not fruit colour, flower colour,
Cloud colour, shower colour,
But purple, amethyst, violet and mauve.
These remain,
Two broad fair colours for our larger gain
Stretched underfoot or spreading wide on high,
Green beech colour, vine colour,
Gum colour, pine colour,
Blue of the noonday and the moonlit sky.

One Light: Three Primary Colors

Red is the colour of blood that flows in the body of all creatures given birth
Green is the colour of grass that like a carpet covers a lot of the soil of earth
Blue is the colour of sky that surrounds this world and is of an infinite girth
All three colours come from a Single Source having an Immeasurable worth.

Red is also the colour of danger and a symbol which indicates all to beware
Green is also the colour of the leaves that most of the plants and trees wear
Blue is also the colour of water that covers most of this world which is fair
Three colours are the original blend of all those others found in nature there.

Red is also the colour of anger, passion or pain that is expressed, felt and seen
Green is also the colour of something natural an indication of where it has been
Blue is also the colour of Infinity and the light glowing in a mind which is clean
And all three colours are shades of One Light the essence of all universal sheen.

Of all the three colours I like blue the most as it seems to be uniquely sublime
It speaks to me of loftier and deeper things that were experienced in my prime
It also represents the colour of the biggest phenomena known to man in time
Being a symbol of That in which all exists and from which all began to chime.
------------------------
Note:
There are many other colors but as far as those which form the basis of technology there are only three i.e; as in a R.G.B. monitor and screen projector etc.

Sunset in March

The Spring has come to us again,
flowers are dancing in the rain,
the morning sky returns to blue,
sunset in March, a magic view.

A crocus bloom, blue pearl of Spring
smiles as the robins sing and sing,
watching the skies, I'm singing too,
sunset in March, a magic view.

The lake is waiting for old boats,
a sound of hope so freely floats,
the music that our souls pursue,
sunset in March, a magic view.

There is no time like Spring, indeed,
a heart renewed for worlds in need,
may all our wishes dreams come true,
sunset in March, a magic view.

Thoughts on a memory

There is so little I can say,

and yet so much thought

has gone in today.

How the mind wanders

on the different alleys.

To retrieve a thought, a memory,

it's brought forth in vivid view,

to haunt my tormented soul..

I cling to the memory

of the almost-nothing.

Thinking it through

to create the almost-something.

As the days draw by

I think of that single memory.

I ponder on thoughts,

I know I should not have.

Yet, when the heart beats yearningly,

don't we all return to the memory?

To that single moment

when one word could make,

a whole new memory?

A Golden Sphere

A golden sphere is lifting up so slowly in the east,
The eye is looking towards it, and seeing such a feast,
Blazing with bands of colour, and giving a wondrous heat,
A view that to each observer, is something so complete.

The sphere goes on its journey, and starts slowly rising,
In different coloured guises, it begins such advertising,
Above the trees and fields, of this silent waiting land,
With a spectacle so splendid, so magnificent and grand.

A whole range of hues are seen, within this fiery glow,
Changing as the hours pass by, it then starts sinking low,
And if seen in splendid glory, is a wonderful imposing sight,
Out to the west, where it disappears into our moonlit night.

Seek Beauty

how long
and how lonely
are the steeps of your lies
and yet
how painfully liberating is the path that your truth requires?

so seek
seek beauty
in laughter and in tears
seek love
and fantastic colours just may highlight the dust in your eyes
seek beauty

coz in the end
when the lamp oil
burnt the flicker once and for all
we fade
we perish in that final hour
savouring the promise of glorious dawn

so seek
seek beauty in the ugly and in the vain
seek love
and fantastic colours just may highlight
the dust in your eyes
seek beauty

and take joy
in your daily struggle
let go repulsion as it clings to the shock
discovery
entering illumination
the transformation of matter into void

so seek
seek beauty
in corruption and in the pure
seek love
and fantastic colours just may highlight the dust in your eyes
seek beauty
seek beauty!

Departure

As yesterday was dawning.
I vanished into the skies.
Soaring under rainbow arch.
Past clouds of lullabies.
Unknown coloured birds
In formation flew.
With utterly beautiful tunes,
Feathered choir
Disappeared from view.

A gossamer breeze
With the breath of a rose
Brought flowers to life
Once comatose.
Now blazing below
Like suns on stalks
Amazing
They glow,
As beauty talks.

On yesterday evening
When twilght was nigh
I bathed in the sea
Of a sunset sky.
That solar dance,
Beauty in slow motion.
Winking its goodbye.
Sinking into the ocean.

Come yesterday night
A necklace of stars
Gleamed,
Hung under a moon face
As Heaven dreamed.
Then silence.
Whispering much more
Than any word
When every loving sigh
In your heart will be heard.
With my departure
Into blue.
Where I'll wait my love
For only you.

Ugly Sunset

It wouldn't rise to become the sun
Afraid of shinning it's true beauty
Hiding in the horizon about to cause night
Bringing fear and causing evil to come out
So this once beautiful sunset that was the world to me turned ugly
Look at it! What do you see that is so beautiful about this ugly sunset
Is it how it causes fright to parents
Or how slowly it goes down with everyone's happiness like sucking the life out of you like a black hole
You ugly sunset with your beautiful shades of color and your reflection on the ocean, why are you hiding from beauty? we were once the world me and you but now look at you, your a mess.
Now all you are is one ugly sunset sucking up all the beauty this world has.
So keep hiding in the horizon ugly sunset!
But in the end you'll regret not showing you true beauty.

At The End Of The Rainbow

As long as I remember
Weve marched across this land
Oh, oh
Reached for a new horizon
Pulled by the killing hand
Oh, oh
All fed up with lies
The time has come
To break these chains and fly
Here we stand, bound forevermore
Were out of this world, until the end
Here we are, mighty, glorious
At the end of the rainbow
With gold in our hands
We know the treasure lies
Beyond the pouring rain
Oh, oh
Our quest will last forever
For you its all the same
Oh, oh
No one can deny
Our futures set
To reach above the sky
Here we stand, bound forevermore
Were out of this world, until the end
Here we are, mighty, glorious
At the end of the rainbow
With gold in our hands
Lets fly away through the rain
Fly high, to ease the burning pain
Oh, the colours fading out
The light is shining in the night
Its up to you, its worth the fight
Search before the colours fade
Here we stand bound forevermore
Were out of this world, until the end
Here we are, mighty, glorious
At the end of the rainbow
With gold in our hands

The Setting Sun

Just before the sun starts to set, a gentle golden glow
Spreads across the weary world, way down below.
The sun has the Midas touch; a touch of pure gold,
But it’s not long until the world starts to fall cold.

The sky is streaked with shades of pinks and reds,
Signalling that, tomorrow, there’s a fine day ahead.
In the late noon sky, there’s a spectacular show;
A myriad of colours, before the daylight goes.

The colours that are seen, all have a warm hue:
They look so amazing against the sky so blue.
It’s when people, from their tasks, pack away,
And has always been my favourite time of day.

Suddenly It's Magic

As butterflies open their wings
To fly and scattered their beauty at the skies
And flowers then, start dancing
As they heard the morning lullabies
Like a love song that plays in our heart
Suddenly its magic that filled in the air

And when the clouds have passed by under the sun
Were the rainbow appears over the horizon
Suddenly its magic that shimmers at the sky
Suddenly, its magic that brings sunshine in my days
As an emotion deeply grows every now and then,
That love never old, but it always grows

My heart is filled with so much love I feel for you,
And it gets stronger as tomorrow comes
With you, I always want to be
I see the world when I am with you,
There was music all around that I am singing.
Suddenly its magic that sounds everywhere.

There are sounds and symphony
I can feel in the air.
It’s magic that softly singing in my heart.
I can feel the rhythm that makes my spirits rise
Suddenly I felt good inside
And yes its magic running deep into my soul.

Youth and Age

Youth and Age

Oh! Such glorious evening!
Is it melted gold
Poured
Across the skies?
Or
Is it from an artist's
Giant Palette
Splashed so bright?

My spirit bounces
At the enchanting reflection
In the shimmering waters;
At the twitter of the birds
From the swinging branches;
At the colourful flowers
Gently swaying in the breeze.

I dance
To the tune of my mind,
With the bells jingling;
It's soulful music ringing,
I am caught in a trance!

I emerge slowly—
Very slowly—
Only to find
Darkness
Having enveloped me!
Groping,
I shiver and shudder!

Alas! Youth has passed away! !
Age has come to stay!
Hark! Is it the bell jingling?
Nay! It is the death-knell tolling!

Trapped Within My Reflection

Standing here stairing into this mirror
My reflection stairing back at me
A tear dropp falls down its cheek
Wiping my face but nothing there

The mirror begins to cloud
My reflection starts to shiver
Placing my hand on this now cold surface
My reflection slowly places his hand against mine

My reflection breathes onto the mirror
As writting appears 'HELP ME'
My mind telling me its not real
But my eyes never fail

My heart beats faster
My soul trapped within this mirror
All along, here in front of me
Stairing me in the face

My reflection banging for freedom
Seems so real as the mirror shakes
Suddenly overcome with this strange feeling
I throw my fist to the mirror

Cracks begin to form
As my reflection stands still and smiles
Shattering into a million pieces
A sensation feeling travels through my body

Looking down i see my reflection
Tainted red as blood falls
A shard of mirror stuck in my hand
A message appears

'You Freed Me - You Freed Your Soul'

When Life's At A Standstill

Its been a matter of perpetual pondering by the lone mind,
To the areas where time just kiboshes the mundane chores of life, in search of an answer one can find,
But since the frequent journey to a standstill moment by a restless soul recently seems on a high,
My pen makes its way through a rhyme and life has no option than to comply!

A moment where everything seems to settle down, like dust particles in an untouched glass of water,
And things appear pretty lucid while the rest of the world is not much of a bother,
Where all the mixed flavours of life gradually loose their bond and seem to be differentiable,
And the thirst of knowing ourselves, suddenly seems to be quite achievable..

Perhaps thats the only time our invisible soul takes an elevation,
With all the true colours of life slowly being visible, mask the colorless picturisation,
Its like the life's 7 colour wagon-wheel rotating at a decent speed revealing white,
Largely slows down and the rainbow colours appear, vivid and pretty bright!

Its like, even without its presence, you smell the fragrance of a rose,
Which emerges from the crumpled pages of life which has lost its prose,
Its like, even without being there, you hear the gentle rise and fall of the sea waves,
And every serpent wave resembles a calm music straight from the life's dark caves,
Its like, without a kaliedoscope, every broken bangle form attractive shapes,
And remind us about every separated friend, rewinding life's old magnetic tapes,
Its like, without being in love, you get goosebumps cherishing your first date,
And the warmth and intensity respects that very part of your fate..

But then the wagon-wheel decelerates more, to find a deeper meaning to the above words laid,
And your heart takes you to a mind-blowing cavalcade,
Finally the dart hits the center like a perfect strike,
And you realise that happiness is a bully we all pretend to like..

You gotta digest that dead roses decorated in a bouquet are of more worth,
And you understand that the rise n fall of the waves indicate that nothin remains constant but pretty curt,
You percieve that friendship slowly starts wearing a price tag,
And you believe that love is not that blind and life slowly takes a drag..

This is the time when everything comes to a standstill with a heavy heart that begins to drop,
And those small things of life reveal giving answers and enhance a part of life similar to an image crop,
Its sad to wander within these virtues of solitude over and over again with the heart getting a lil tanny,
But as long as it gives answers, its worth - Coz most of the times, we don't have any...

Nobody In The Boat

It was not me at all
How could have that much fall?
I was so resolute and brilliant
This looked something subservient

How can I look like cruel man?
I did all fine things for man and woman
How many institutions were run on charity?
They had fine display of standard and quality

I thought something had really gone wrong
The theme was entirely different from original song
The mirror had no real reflection of its own
But I was renowned man and well known

Till this time I was falsely made to believe
It was under falsehood that I presented and lived
It struck my mind that mirror is reminding me of something
It has altogether different picture for real thing

Even though I had escaped people’s attention
My conscious was there for its mention
It spoke gently when I was facing mirror
There absolutely no misjudgment or an error

The mirror was reminding me of impeding danger
I was about to face ire, rage and anger
People were trying to know about my intention
I was fool not to catch nerves and attention

Was this a stern warning to mend the ways?
Was it some signal to remind me of going away?
I thought of it and decided to shed the double life
How difficult it was to live on the edge of the knife?

It works on no particular principles
You may find many followers or disciples
But the moment their goal was over
You will be left alone to find the shield or cover

I laughed at the mirror impression
Though I was same but left me with depression
What would happen if I am dragged and made scapegoat?
I will have no shore, no friends or no body in the boat

My Olympics

There was huge pressure –
we was under a lot of pressure…

But I remembered the instructions -
keep cool, do just what you’ve been trained to do…so,

to get through, do so well
was just amazing…just amazing...

I feel – just – fantastic..
the whole experience has been – fantastic..

and yes, I guess my sights are now
on London two hundred twelve..

the stadium, the village, the facilities, were just fantastic..
but now it’s over, I just want

to get home again – I’m really proud
I volunteered to be a lavatory attendant..

...amazing… just fantastic..

Symphony Of Colours

I am a painter,
My hands hold a brush,
Moving as my heart wants,
Laughing the joy and crying the sorrow of my life.

I am playing with warm colours,
Using shadows I am emphasizing light,
I want the mankind see the beauty,
Of the marvelous world we have around.

Colours shine on my blank canvas,
In tones of rainbow and joyful lights,
All the warmth of the living,
Is concentrated in a piece of art.

Vibrant colours are merging together,
Dancing in shadows and lights,
All the past and the present lies here,
Being a reflection of my mind.

My thoughts are filling my canvas,
The brush strokes are following my dream,
Expressing the depths of my heart,
A symphony of colours has many stories to tell.
