Our Cocker Spaniel

Her name was Agatha, Aggy for short,
More human than a dog, a real good sport,
A friend, a partner and companion too,
Welcoming everyone both old and new.

Her tail would wag a thousand times a day,
Greeting each person met along the way,
So excited by each days events,
Full of energy and using every sense.

She lived, so very happy and content,
Enjoying 'home' and 'shop' life, free from rent,
Dried apricots, her one great loved reward,
But when asleep, 'my goodness' how she snored.

She reached the ripe old age of 12 years plus,
And even at the end there was no fuss,
She drifted very peacefully to sleep,
Of her, we have such memories to keep.

To us, she was a very loved canine,
A superhuman, Oh, so very fine,
We'll miss her so, she filled each day with pleasure,
With happiness and love beyond all measure.

So farewell, Aggy, Agatha in full,
There'll be no more pats or floppy ears to pull,
Old friend, old pal, old partner, you'll remain,
Within our hearts, until we meet again.

A Fond Farewell

the litebrite's now black and white
cause you took apart a picture that wasn't right
pitch burning on a shining sheet
the only maker that you want to meet
a dying man in a living room
who's shadow paces the floor
who'll take you out in the open door
this is not my life
it's just a fond farewell to a friend
it's not what i'm like
it's just a fond farewell to a friend
who couldn't get things right
fond farewell to a friend
he said really i just wanna dance
good and evil matched perfect it's a great romance
i can deal with some physic pain
if it'll slow down my higher brain
veins full of disappearing ink
vomiting in the kitchen sink
disconnecting from the missing link
this is not my life
it's just a fond farewell to a friend
it's not what i'm like
it's just a fond farewell to a friend
who couldn't get things right
fond farewell to a friend
i see you're leaving me and taking up with the enemy
the cold comfort of the in between
a little less than a human being
a little less than a happy high
a little less than a suicide
the only things that you really tried
this is not my life
it's just a fond farewell to a friend

deep in my heart i know God

deep in my heart
i know God as a friend
waiting for me
in the valleys and plains

for a thousand years
he was called Master
by the slaves and he
did not answer

for another thousand
years he is called the
Creator by his creatures
he did not listen

for another thousand years
he is called the Father
of his sons and he did not mind

until then when you call him
Your friend, your peer, your partner
did he look upon you and smile

and in this understanding
God has come, patting you on your shoulder
welcoming you to sit as a friend
on his table to take his glass
and drink the wine of eternity

Do You Remember Me?

When you can’t sleep at night,
and you’re all alone in the twilight,
turn those nightmares in to dreams,
by building up your self-esteem,
just dig deep in to your memory,
and remember someone like me.

Do you remember happier days,
full of fun filled holidays,
where you could do,
whatever you wanted to,
as love came so easily,
to people like you and me.

In dark and doubtful times,
we all need pleasant signs,
to stem the flow of tears,
so look back through the years,
pull out those special memories,
for they’re guaranteed to please.

Do you remember better days,
full of sunshine rays,
where your wishes came true,
and happiness always followed you,
then you must have remembered me,
for I always made you happy.

With love

To the one I miss so much.
Grandad my best friend
Your life was a love.
Your smile always shining.
With your brighr sparkly blue eyes.
How I miss you so.

You were full of love.
You were good and true.
But god called you home.

How I miss you no one will no.
You were kind and loving.
And simply just the best.

Now your gone
My hart is in 2
But your never far away.

For in my hart you will stay.
Loved more each day
Remembered with affection
Missed with sadness.
Loved always

You were the best.
God always picks the best

Sweet Reunion

In the moment I first saw you,
I could swear that we had met,
The look in your eye,
Was so familiar,
Where and when, I forget.
Whispered your name in introduction,
Darling, my heart filled the room,
And I knew it was you, come back in my life.
So we meet again, my long lost friend
Once again, we get to start anew,
And it feels like a thousand years,
Ive been loving you.
Girl have you been waiting here, for someone near,
Searchin the world for a friend,
Come on in, Ive been expecting you
Sweet reunion, welcome home again.
How many lifetimes have I loved you,
How many times have you loved me,
The sound of your voice is in my memory,
Like the wind, on the sea.
The glow of your heart has been my lighthouse,
Ive followed it in from distant shores,
Now I wont be afraid to love anymore.
So we meet again, my long lost friend
Once again, we get to start anew,
And it feels like a thousand years,
Ive been loving you.
Girl have you been waiting here, for someone near,
Searchin the world for a friend,
Come on in, Ive been expecting you
Sweet reunion, welcome home again.
Whatever happens, nothings ever going to be the same,
Now youll find me here at last,
Your loves released me from the past,
My heart and soul have always remembered your name.
Girl have you been waiting here, for someone near,
Searchin the world for a friend,
Come on in, Ive been expecting you
Sweet reunion, welcome home again.
Ive always been loving you
Girl have you been waiting here, for someone near,
Searchin the world for a friend,
Come on in, Ive been expecting you
Sweet reunion, welcome home again.

One Lucky Gal

(poetry in progress)

such a great number of years
she has collected, one lucky gal
ninety three of them to be exact,
showering her smile with such
a maze of enthusiastic signatures
so frenziedly delineated through her
face contours one wonders the days
clocked onto her with their hands each day

and her walk, it is so heavy with memories
sweetness, bitterness, joy and sorrow
lthey are weighing down on her muscles

she walks with her face to the ground
her greatest companion till this day
always keeping her supported,
never giving way

her ears, they are a thousand miles away
what a blessing, she thinks, for she longs
more for the days she had lived

and soon her eyes will be too glad to
bide farewell too and choose nights as friends,
everything will be quiet, peaceful and
serene, just what she has been
pining for to close her years

the ninety odd years will weigh away
light as autumn leaves over the fields
in so many shades and in so many dance
sequences to give her one exciting last
farewell from the stage of the world
and on every loved one's heart, a real life
story for each leaf that has flown to lighten
up her years

Joyful Madison

JOYFUL MADISON

Madison wags her grey and black tail,
all smiles to people she likes really well.
Her tail is shaved into a ball at the end,
she is happy for Little Loui is her dog friend.
Now Allen picks up Madison off the ground,
and carries her outside when she hears thunder sounds.
Madison doesn’t like the wet falling rain,
she would rather stay inside just the same.
Madison is a Pardy Poodle who has an original style,
her coat has tight curls with hearts that make you smile.
When you look at her, her brown eyes sparkle real bright,
hidden in between her curly hair that’s grey and white.
Her ears are real sensitive so I try not to pet her right there,
other than that she always happy and full of good cheer,
especially when her friend Little Loui is really near,
along with Tashi whose been a friend for many years.

Wife is driven to wall.[India]

A woman as a wife is pathetic.
She starts her career as a sleeping partner,
Then as a yielding partner, a competing partner,
A demanding partner and a losing partner.
No time was she a choosing partner.
She winds up as a deceived partner
And a sexually deceased partner.

In days to some, she will turn
to decry wifehood and defy manhood.

Destiny

All our life is full of temptations,

aggravations, sensations, relations…,

good and bad morals,

trifling quarrels, insults,

disappointments and losses,

the worn out clothes,

treacheries and complaints,

events we can’t prevent,

some things we can’t withstand,

stresses and shocks,

difficulties to open some locks,

unpleasant deeds

Skillfully collected on the threads.

All our life is the urge towards light,

the fight with ignorance and harm,

ability to look for a charm.

Having knotted our weakness

we search for strength and happiness.

All our life is full of flights,

big and small victories

and memories of beautiful days,

lilac that blossom in Mays,

memories of happy years,

love that suddenly appears,

meetings with our friends.

That’s life! Full of events,

events which are full of happiness and worries,

sometimes with lots of hurries,

hopes and disappoinments,

mopes and compliments,

loves and hates,

Fools mates,

truth and lie,

black and white,

days and nights.

They all walk together

not caring about the weather.

All our life is a pattern of events.

Slowly but surely,

trying to find a harmony,

they make our destiny.

A Good Friend She Was

A good friend she was
Would be there for me
Through ups or downs
A good friend she was.

A good friend she was
We laughed and had fun
Her smile was the best
A good friend she was.

A good friend she was
Her caring was amazing
Her love of life showed
A good friend she was.

A good friend she was
Kept her spirits up in pain
Never showed her hurts
A good friend she was.

A good friend she was
Even up until the end
Put my hand on her heart
A good friend she was.

A good friend she was
I will treasure the memories
Of all the joy we shared
A good friend she was.

*Dedicated to my very best friend Maryann whose spirit lives on because you really can't destroy goodness

A Love Story

once I loved you
it may yesterday or today
never write

we never go to meet
but still we loved
again we need to meet
how many times we need to meet
how many times you meet me
how many times we loved
how many times we walked together
you loved me or my songs
those days are never again
a love song never to again
never to return this love
never to walk to this......
this song I write from my heart
home is where my heart to pain
this ink it is my pains
and still this heart never to beat for you
and they make a miss of words
and still you love to sit here alone
and still you know
this rose not for you

Remember Me When Im Gone

Why I don't know why even how?

How Lovers turn strangers

How all the passion and love

Turn in to ashes just in a while

How your real love flew

How it could be true

The love between me and you

The thing that I've never got

How the love like flower dies

How Would you tell me how

How you could forget the love

For It's sake days and nights breathless stood there

Never got tired of knocking the doors of my heart

love I loved you and lived for your love even after you've gone

Love I loved and I lived your pain

For your sake I used to love your pain

Because my love was real and
Truer than true

No one ever will be loved like The way I loved you

Someday you will comeback
But it'll be too late

never again you'll find me there

A lifetime I'm standing right here
Got tired this heart of mine

Long years alone waited for your return

If I had one more life I would sacrifice for your love

But when the time of leaving comes

There's nothing to do my love

When you come back when I'm gone
you will return home broken

That moment you'll feel how much you've hurt the one who loved you more than her life

I'll go far away taking with me your love and all the memories

Those memories never gone away
Like my shadow always chased my way

Remember me when I'm gone

Because even in my grave I'll always love those smiling green eyes.

Farewell my friend

I could easily foretell
You had something to tell
As you dropped a stinking bombshell

Farewell, farewell my friend
With words I spell
It all out in a nutshell

Farewell, farewell my friend
What else can I say?
When you take off today for good

Farewell I say with a broken mood
Farewell there goes my wedding bell
Farewell there goes your innocent smell
Farewell there goes our fun in and out of hotels
Farewell I hope that life treats you well

Farewell in your ventures
Our spent time is my treasure
Your heart must wander to where it belongs
Friend, I only urge you to be strong
With love you can simply do no wrong
I say it with these words tipping off my tongue

Farewell, farewell my friend
I am a great believer
Farewell is not forever
I say not goodbye
I do not wish to sit and cry

Farewell, farewell my friend
What else can I say?
You weren’t meant to stay
I will do nothing to detain
You from flying on that plane

Farewell, farewell my friend
I say with pain
Farewell, farewell my friend
In sunshine or in rain
One day, one day
I know we’ll see again

Farewell, farewell my friend
I cannot stand and pretend
That a part me
With you, would still like to be!

Farewell My Rebel Latvian (For Erica)

Farewell my noble rebel so cold and deep the grave
But you were not afraid of death and you were always brave
You were my favourite brother the one I loved the best
The rebel heart from Latvia has gone to peaceful rest.

I remember back in Germany when you and your friend ran away
You planned to go to Latvia to join the rebel fray
But of course ye did not make it as ye were far too young
you were the lad of action who spoke with rebel tongue.

Farewell my brother Johnny you never lived to see
the greatest dream you ever had that Latvia might be free,
Free of the tyrant Soviets and their brutality
We had so much in common we loved our own Country.

Farewell my rebel Latvian with dignity you died
You bore your suffering bravely and and faced the end with pride
God thought you'd suffered too much and on your life quenched the light
And now you're in a freer World where you won't have to fight

Farewell my rebel brother my heart is flood with tears
You were my king and hero in hard and bitter years
But god he loved you better he took you from your pain
And we will meet in heaven I know we'll meet again.

Say That I Loved Life

SAY THAT I LOVED LIFE

Say that I loved life-
Say that I tried to be good to others-
That I was mostly kind,
Say that I found Interest in so many people-
Tell them that all my failures and my complainings
Did not matter that much
Were cancelled by my gratitude
To all those who gave me so much-
Say that the years of writing were in themselves joy enough
And that the lack of rewards and recognition were secondary-
Tell them how happy I was to have the family I had-
Tell them that the very ordinary sensations
The simple sights were pleasure enough-
Say it was mostly alright
And tell them even if I am in pain and suffering now
That I loved life-

Say that I loved life
And thank each and every one of them
Tell them too to go on loving life
I may have been of meaning for them
But tell them there is far more to this world than I am-
Tell them the best thing they can do for me
Is to love life more and be happy and bring in their lives more goodness to the world.

Your Eyes

Lost in your eyes
Despite controlled try
No use as I felt shy
Asked many times, why?

Why should there be any pull?
When heart feels very much full
When she has committed in yes
I should only look at your face

You have now gone into hiding
I am left behind for only kidding
I shall still be happy and smiling
When you may come back as willing

It is wonderful too look at
Think of future and vision to set
Dream about what the shape will be of relation
Now itself that joy gives me clear indication

I love not, to be hated person
I am sweet in that sense with so many reasons
She must assert her self for on ward journey
Yet it needs luck and blessings from almighty

Should I dare to ask you for hand?
I shall act less as companion and more as friend
You will find the difference in real
As I have nothing to conceal

I look at your eyes and simply go blank
They are powerful enough to make me sink
I read fearless expression for full commitment
I am for it and have no regret or resentment

Come to me and say with full sentence
I want to hear it closely and at once
You have tact and art to disclose with no fear
I am ready for it to absorb shock and bear

Shall love to swim and sink together
As it will leave no room to bother
I am free bird and want of natural nest
You weave and prepare it for our best

See That Love Grows

See that love grows
Naturally blooms and flows
As it is gifted by god
It must be thing of joy and not with concern or load

Love may, at one point, look a symbol of sex or lust
But as age advances it develops into mutual trust
It brings couple together and starts liking first
Anything else becomes secondary as crucial test

It is predominantly a human feeling
It has full consent with complete willingness
Two souls merge with honest combination
For duration of happy and long relation

Nobody can deny existence of such bond
It is divine feeling and person becomes very fond
Longs for particular person and express desire
Some times he may succeed and sometimes fired

It must happen and sometimes may not happen
As desire is emanated naturally and not hidden
Same is the situation with female partner
As in such a game both may be new beginner

Love flows in its own stream
It reflects even in spare time and in dream
The dream comes true and results into reality
Both love to unite and make life worth with humanity

Life is short and must be made meaningful
No one can be termed simply successful
Unless he has lived it to full length with motives
Even though he may remain concerned with and selective
