My Life Complete
An Angel turned and smiled at me with such a gentle face,
Her eyes they sparkled like the stars that shine in outer space.
Her raiment’s were of gossamer and glowed so radiantly,
I was amazed, what a surprise, her blessings were for me.
‘I’ve come with messages of love’. she said, with voice so sweet,
And whilst listening to her singing, I felt my life complete.
She rose up into the heavens, so swiftly did she fly,
That a trail of golden stardust was strewn across the sky.

Things just havent been the same
Since the flying saucer came
Now the aliens are on the loose
Well, we tried to hold em back
Tried to ward off their attack
But our atom bombs were just no use

Biggest heads I ever seen

Christmas Gift
Christmas Gift Spurned
Crowed Christmas, street when I saw her I was sure it was her,
the way she walked. Thought I could sense her perfume too.
I hurried after her, touched her shoulder, said hallo, the woman
turned around, alas, I had been wrong. Said sorry, thought you
were someone else. She smiled and said, no I’m only me.
I read an invitation in her dark brown eyes, but I was hopelessly
in love with the true woman of my dreams and the lovely woman
in front of me, was not like the mythical one. I said sorry again,
flapped my wings and flew into the night sky to seek her amongst
the stars. In the cooling outer space I realized the fabled woman
of my dreams was an angel and I was only an earthling. I dived
back to earth like a Stuka dive bomber, skidded on slush. I looked
and looked, in vain, for the woman with the brown eyes, but my
Christmas gift had gone.

Inner Beauty Is Real Deep
Does a smile begin from nowhere,
A tear from outer space?
Or do they come from hearts that care
To settle on each face?
They say that beauty is skin deep,
Not so when one gets sad,
Or longfelt grudges one would keep
With evil thoughts so bad...
Does a laugh begin from nowhere,
A sigh from outer space?
Or do they come from dreams we share
Or feelings we embrace?
And what of songs and poetry
And hymns that mean so much
And all God called humanity
That brings each gentle touch?
Does a prayer begin from nowhere,
A frown from outer space?
Does true love melt the heart's despair
To wipe out every trace?
Does time go faster when in love,
Is love all that there is?

Angel oh angel
fly down beside me.
Hold my hand
and take me away.
Take me here
even if you
see my tear.
Up in the sky
where dead people lie.
Lots of hearts
have been torn apart.
Help me angel.
Help me fly
to the sky.
Need to see
the one i lost,
as the past
seems to of
turned to frost.
Man i once knew.
Man i onced loved.
Man i use to
look up to.
I know he is safe.

in the dark

The Angel of Mons
He called for me from his hospital bed,
He needed a priest, and soon,
The old man lay in his disarray
In the cool of the afternoon,
I started to read the Viaticum,
His face was turned to the wall,
But then he stirred, and muttered one word
From the depths of his troubled soul.
'Mons', he muttered, and I was still
While he raised his gaze to mine,
I saw the struggle he fought within
Then I noticed his eyes a-shine,
'I was an Old Contemptible, '
He said with a trembling voice,
'I've been to the shores of Hell, old son,
If you thought you could give me a choice.'
'Now, I've never spoken of this before,
War is a terrible thing,
The Devil rides in the enemies eyes
While the bullets just rattle and zing.
I've walked through rivers of blood, ' he said,
'I've lain in acres of pain,
At Mons, outnumbered by three to one
In the mist and the cleansing rain.'
'I killed so many, I must confess,
A rifleman born and bred
Full fifteen rounds each minute I loosed
At the sight of a bobbing head
Their field grey uniforms swarmed across,
We cut them off at the feet,
But then their artillery started up
And we knew we'd have to retreat.'
'Death was having a field day, son,
Taking us, one by one,
I didn't believe I was going to live
No more than my mates had done,
They lay in pools on the muddy ground
Their eyes a-stare, amazed,
The bullets that took them arrived unsung,
To herald an early grave.'
I patted his hand to quieten him,
I saw that the end was near,
The war he spoke of was over and done
But for him it was crystal clear,
I tried absolving his early sin
I held his trembling hands,
'I need to tell you the rest, ' he croaked,
'The awe-ful Angel of Mons.'
'The Germans had us, the end was nigh,
We turned to defend at the last,
When up above us a shape was formed
With wings that glowed like glass,
A glowing angel with luminous wings
And it turned to the enemy,
The guns were silenced, the air was still
And the Germans turned to flee.'
Sweat broke out on the old man's brow,
He shivered and let out a sigh,
He'd told no-one of the things he'd seen
At Mons, in that August sky,
The lights were suddenly dimmed in there
Like a shadow of former wrongs,
And graceful wings folded over his head
As he died… the Angel of Mons.

Dreamt of Heaven
I dreamt of heaven last night
and heaven was you.
Your smile was as angelic as an angel.
Your eyes sparkled like the stars.
Your touch was soft and gentle as a cloud.
And your kisses left me breathless as if I was so high in the sky there is no air left to breath.
This is how I imagine heaven to be and this is you.
That is why last night when I dreamt of you it was like
I dreamt of heaven.
Flightless (age 16)
*On that glorious night an 'Angel' appeared
With eyes as green as the exotic mountains
The 'Angel' sparkled like the beautiful stars that the world got trapped beneathe
Soaring through the gental hum of the night breeze
The 'Angel' saw the most beautiful 'Fairy' ever seen
All life had stopped as the 'Angel' flew down beside the beauty
The 'Fairy' was laying on the ground with broken wings
Startled by the 'Angel', the 'Fairy' sat up with tears of emptiness
With each fall of pain, it stained the earth; it stained the air
The 'Angel' looked upon the 'Fairy' mesmorized at those 'burning eyes'
Gazing up at the 'Angel' with complete adoration
For the 'Fairy' had never seen such beauty, such gorgeousness
The 'Angel' stood there infatuated
They both fell into eachothers eyes; into their souls
As though the rest of the world had been obliterated from all existance
Eye meets eye, beauty meets beauty
The 'Fairy's' pain vastly turned to passionate respect
So much energy without a single touch
For it would be a Dream to be touched by one so ostentaious
They closed their eyes and percieved eachothers soul
Inches away from one anothers warmth
They looked longingly into eachothers mysterious eyes
Then the 'Angel' grabbed the 'Fairy's' hand with passion
The 'Fairy' touched the 'Angel's' velvet skin
Such exoticness filled the air as their mystical souls embraced
They were captivated only able to see one another
The 'Angel' of beauty held Me closely as we erotically kissed under the moodlight
For his intoxicating eyes, his glorifying smile, and his gorgeous mind is all that I needed
He helped me fly again
That 'Angel' helped me fly!

Is There Life on Mars?
Up Up Up and Up into outer space
one giant leap for man and the human race,
blasting up towards that heavenly place
did you see aliens or angels face to face?
What's it like to walk on the Moon
do you think there's life on Mars or Neptune?
is time in space really fast or very slow
answers to questions wed all like to know.
When your so high amongst the stars in the sky
are you in awe, do you wonder, do you ask why?
they say you can feel the presence of God
when floating about in your space capsule pod.
From tiny Pluto to the red planet of Mars
Comets, Black Holes, and Shooting Stars,
mysteries and wonders so far away
where twenty four hours don't make up a day.
But after all of these years what do we find?
that there's no other life to worry mankind
but rockets still ascend up so high
leaving us earthlings to ask the question why?

In A Space
In a space allocated to me by the human race
Inhabiting this area until I die this space is occupied
Im in a space leased by kind permission of the human race
Close up I am big but far away Im small and hardly here at all

We disappear without a trace
