Lovelorn

Why are we so at daggers drawn,
With anger and with hate,
Why has this become a duel at dawn,
Why can't we now relate.

Why are you expressing so much scorn,
I sense that it's too late.

I'm feeling so totally forlorn,
Because your fury, won't abate.

Can't we be friends, my heart is torn,
Will you not negotiate,

I feel such pain, as if a thorn
Had come to penetrate.
the very centre of my heart, and borne
My hopes away. Oh, extricate
This agony. If only we could re-form.

I long for you, be again my mate.
And I'll no longer be lovelorn,
Oh, Please let's have a 'date? '.

Anger or Agony

One path is filled with anger,
Darkened with hate,
Swirling with spiteful desires.

The other is filled with pain,
Littered with sad memories,
Pulsing with the beating of a wounded heart.

If I must choose one path,
The choice would not be so clear,
For each one bears an abundance of dreadful surprises.

But is anger as dreadful as agony?
Are sad memories not more toxic than the feeling of hate?
Would spiteful desires not be easier to cope with than a wounded heart?

Anger clouds the mind, but pain cripples the soul,
Hate turns the heart cold, but sad memories tear it apart,
Spiteful desires fuel the fires of rage, but a wounded heart bleeds.

Who could be blamed, if forced with the choice,
Who would not take the lesser of two evils,
Who would rather wallow in grief and agony,
Than spiral in the painless storm that is anger?

I'm In Love With a Poet

You’re my soul mate
I know it, I feel it, its fate
You were born June 8,1977
I was born June 1,1977
You’re a poet by heart, it’s your destiny
You caress each word with your creativity
Spilling your soul like no other brother
Chilling the heart of this sister
You broke up with her again
Maybe you weren’t meant to be friends
Because you’re my soul mate
Although you’re a college dropout
I am here to catch you
To take you to your graduation
So don’t worry about the late registration
And all the heartbreaks
Cause I have what it takes
Cause you’re my soul mate
Let’s date
Maybe consummate
All those other girls
Girly girls
Or guys looking like girls
Don’t player-hate
Cause he’s my soul mate
No more bitter sweet loving
For my American boy
Cause he has found his soul mate

What I Hate

I hate looking myself in the mirror
I hate knowing I have fear
I hate seeing what isn't there
I hate feeling that I am scared
I hate believing what isn't true
I hate believing and trusting you
I hate crying myself to sleep
Forgive me for I have dreams
I feel left out and all alone
With no one to call my own
My eyes are red and I cry blood
Please help me or I'll cry a flood
My friends see what I let them see
If they could only see the true side of me
and as i die inside with pain
Cause believe it or not I have a heart
That's been slowly torn apart.

Isn't this Heart Broken Enough?

Why must you tease me
Why must you hate me
Isn’t this heart broken enough

Why do you hate me
Make me take all your anger
Isn’t this heart broken enough

Why do kiss me
If your love is untrue
Isn’t this heart broken enough

Why did you pull the trigger
When you knew I was there
Why do you make me feel the pain
Of you not being there

Take all my anger
And all my pain
Turn it into
something I can gain

Now it’s the pain of a broken heart
Now it’s the pain of an unrequited love
Its pain of a heart shrouded in darkness
It’s the pain of this heart
It’s the pain in my heart

What's Love Without Hate?

What's love without hate?
Read between the lines and translate
Without hate
Love wouldn't exist
It would no longer be that feeling that you can't resist
Without hate
Love wouldn't be special
Which is why love and hate is an equal ratio
Hate is what makes love rare
If hate didn't exist
Love would've never been there
Without hate
The word 'love' loses all of its meaning
It would just be a word
No longer a feeling
Hate is what keeps love alive
Without it love wouldn't survive
Hate is love's life support
A world witout hate
Would be like chess without its mate
Every ying needs a yang
One side wing and da other fang
One source
Opposed by an equal force
Both sharing da same course
Both headed the same direction
But it's up to you to make the selection
Cause in the end
It's your choice
You have control of your own voice
So weather it's love or hate
Remember these two oppsites relate
I just hope you understand before it's too late

My heart wants to be whole
And beating its way through the dark
But my heart doesnt always get what it wants..
My heart wants you cuz ur my everything
But my heart doesnt always get what it wants..
My heart wants to love myself
But my heart doesnt always get what it wants..
My heart wants to live for what we live for in life
But my heart doesnt always get what it wants..
My heart wants to chase after you
And let go of all I've held on to
But my heart doesnt always get what it wants..
My heart wants to end this empty numbness
That it's feeling and wants to feel the blood of love
Gushin form the veins of its insanity
It wants this pain to go away with a vengeful, suffering way
It wants to make every f*ckin soul on earth
Feel the horrific pain he made me gor through
The nights he left me lonely
The days he ignored the heart being torn out for him
My heart wants to end it all
Every once in a while my heart does get what it wants.................

Thorn and Hate

there is heart springs thorn
there is growth of hate
you plant the thorn
you sow seed of hate
will you cultivate the thorn
or fertilize that hate
I don't want to harvest thorn
you cause me to hate
my heart's never gone from thorn
you always add that hate

Torn

You have torn my heart out.
You have made it bleed.
I want you to feel what I feel
I want you to take heed.

To tell you how much you hurt me
To tell you how you can DARE.
Anger boils up inside.
Anger, I don’t care.

You with your boyish charms,
You with the alluring eyes,
I gave you my whole body
I gave you me, and I despise.

Say that I am incredible,
Say that I am unique,
Anger I believed your verbal skills,
Anger at the lies you speak.

You clearly have a way with women.
You entice them with your words,
I was drawn in by your helplessness
I was drawn in - I feel absurd.

God, help me let those feelings go.
God, help me to forgive.
God let me learn to love again,
God let me learn to live.

Dear hate...

Dear hate...
Who am i meeting today?
Is it Fury? Rage? Pain?
im hosting Depression, anger,
and you...hate. And sadness...
She came yesturday
and she's been crying ever since.
Was it you? Making her cry?
I felt your wars inside of me,
You and anger,
Batteling ferociously, while
Depression sit's in the corner
Turning all black with his soft whispers of
'you aren't enough! ''
And Sadness sobbed
Which fueled your hate
And fueled angers anger.
Pain and Rage burst in
with a bleeding roar
Pain rests on my heart,
tired from her agony,
She bleeds through,
and, God, how it aches.
Rage joins
Yours and angers battle.
Who will rule my actions?
Who will rule my thoughts?
Who will rule my words?
You, and Depression, seem,
to have stolen my thoughts...Ruler of all.
You send Rage an Pain
to weave into my words
and anger and sadness
flow into my actions
All i hear is roaring, sobbing, agony
buzzing in my ears, words, thoughts,
and all i see when i look into the mirror
is fury swimming
in the eyes of a broken soul,
shattered and unwhole
like if i broke the mirror
watched it splinter into a million pieces,
then sent each piece to a different place,
Would they come back?
No...they would be lost forever,
With the mirror frame
Standing bare and empty,
Containing only memories of what used to be
It's wholeness is gone, and it is lost
And if some pieces did come back,
there would still be cracks,
and missing pieces...unwole.
Fixing the mirror, would be like fixing me
...impossible.
And like that frame, frames emptiness
I do to, except for my basic frame
Which is built from Pain, Depression,
Rage, anger, and you...hate.
Yours forever
Your Captured Soul

Complain (What I Hate)

I hate your friend
I hate the scorn
I hate the fact my heart is torn
I hate you for showing me love
when reality is that you are involved
I hate that I come between you two
I hate your friend for hating me
I hate that i'm so attracting
I hate feeling this way for you
way you touch and hold me, feels like heaven
I hate it but the reality is I love you
Stories on end of the romance shared
love leads us back to day one
I hate loving you all over again
I hate that I can't love you as I want
I hate that fate leaves us with no chance
I'd fantasized of a true romance
I hate the fact that you're not mine
This is no fun because you're involved
I hate that I love you so much
I hate that I yearn to feel your touch
I hate it but could never deny my love
I'm hanging on, just can't get enough
I hate being in love with you
when you belong to someone else
I'm aware you feel zero affection
when it's I who you love the most
I hate the circumstances that's a hindrance to our happiness

Broken Hearts

Two hearts joined
In the fate of love
Two hearts break
In the wings of a dove

One heart still loves
Still hopes, Still dreams
One heart hurts
One heart Screams

The heart that loves
Still hopes, Still dreams
That's my heart
Torn at the seams

The heart that hurts
The one that screams
That's his heart
Torn at the seams

Two hearts lost
A beloved lil dream
The hurt the pain
A never ending dream

The heart that's his
Threw it away
The love, The affection
An eventful day

Two hearts joined
But ripped and torn
Just as violent
As a winter storm

One heart still loves
Still hopes, Still dreams
To one day fix his
and sew up the seams

But one heart still hurts
Still cries, Still screams
That's his heart
With no more dreams

A heart confused
A heart in pain
That's his heart
A heart with no gain

Two hearts broken
Ripped at the seams
But two hearts Joined
Forever in their dreams

My heart hopes
That his heart sees
The love we share
Was meant to be

My heart waits
For his to return
My heart hopes
That his will learn

That my heart and his
......Were meant to be

Torn And Tattered Heart

my heart is torn and tattered
it seems like nothing else matters
i gave my heart, soul, and mind
and thought it would last for a long time.

you find someone which you grow to love and
it gets deeper and higher than the stars above.
you feel that this love will forever last
but it becomes part of the past.
when you see this person change their points of view
but! not to satisfy you.

just to satisfy their blown egos and their conceit
and your love they could never meet.
and now your heart is a divided road with
nowheres to go.
you pick up the pieces of your torn heart
and look for another place to start.

this torn and tattered heart knows it must
pick itself up again-and start the search all anew
in hopes that it'll find someone better than you.

someone who will appreciate all the love
that you have to give.
for in the long run they will win.
they'll win a heart which has gotten strong
and with you it will belong.

this is my heart which i give to you- which will
no longer be sad or blue.

The Nightingale and the Rose

The song, it echoed sweetly
This melody of purity so fine
To cause this bud to life
To cause this rose to form

The price to pay… the thorn
This precious price to pay with life
Pressed against the heart of purity
So pure this gentle heart

For in the name of love was formed
This rose so red, so rare
And with this blood so red
This sad song so sweet this night so long.

Until the thorn so sharp did pierce
This gentle feathered heart
And spilled the blood to form
This red rose, so rare.

And as her song of love grew faint
And as her life it spilled unto the rose
The dawn approached to quicken this endeavour
Lest this rose of love be less than perfect formed

As wilder grew her song so sweet of love
As bitter grew the pain as life it ebbed
So slowly born this death that does not die
So one heart grew the other passed away.

Borne on the wind this melody of song
This song so sweet to cause to life
This rose of blood, of love, of pain and tears
And yet so easily cast into a gutter.

I Hate...

I hate that I still think of you
And that I want you around.
I hate all the memories
Because you kept my feet on the ground.
I hate the fact that you’re happy.
Even without me in your life.
I hate that you’re always on my mind
And every day seems to be strife.
I hate that you’ve moved on
And I’m just a faded memory.
I hate that she’s the one beside you
And even more that it’s not me.
I hate that even in my anger
I can’t and still don’t hate you the way I’d like.
I hate this feeling I have
It feels like I’ve been stabbed with a spike
I hate that my heart aches
And I can’t get it to go away
I hate that you’re gone forever
And in my heart again you will never stay.

Only One Horrible Thorn

I like to cry and throw a fit
Even the dark day I was born
I am a sad and drooping rose
With only one horrible thorn

I did not like people around
I would sit, curse at them and scorn
I am a sad and drooping rose
With only one horrible thorn

My heart could never feel the love
Deep inside I felt sad and torn
I am a sad and drooping rose
With only one horrible thorn

People still tried to get close to me
I would open my mouth and warn
I am a sad and drooping rose
With only one horrible thorn

I will never show a smile
This is an oath that I have sworn
I am a sad and drooping rose
With only one horrible thorn

But the day will come, I will die
Then haunt people after they mourn
I am a sad and drooping rose
With only one horrible thorn

Hurt

Leaving him hurt
hurts more than a broken bone
and then you came along
so perfect so sweet
and then so quickly you disappeared
my heart already shattered lost hope
leaving me crushed into pieces
I thought I could heal
once again become whole with you
but it looks ill only be hurt once more
now in pieces I sit an I burn
slowly turning into ashes
my heart is no more
for I lost hope to ever love again
because everytime I do I'm hurt
I can't feel loved anymore
as I never was before
I can no longer love
as I don't know how to anymore
this will leave me torn
for the rest of my days
as I can no longer have your heart
all I have is pain
the pain that's left behind
and that feeling no one needs
that feeling of being hurt

Lovely Kim

I feel the warmth of the sunshine
And the blowing of the wind
Then in my ear, her voice I do hear
It is that of the lovely Kim.
As a happiness comes over me
Which really I cant explain
When she is around, my soul to her is bound
And no longer do I feel any anger or pain.
I walk with my outreached arms
Trying to find where she might be
And the wind blows, and then I know
She is there, for me to believe.
A happiness it enters my soul
And I hope from me it never escape
As long as its there, I know that she cares
And I know for life for me isn't too late.
My day it is full of happiness
I keep a smile in my heart and on my face
I feel a happy sound, which in my soul rebounds
Finally love and joy, I feel that sweet taste.
People they walk past me
I can feel the happiness in their soul
Loves in their heart, from which they cant part
And never will they let that feeling go.
So as once again I sit and I will wait
For the blowing and calling of the wind
I then close my eyes, and then I fantasize
Of that, and of the beautiful lovely Kim.

Pain-Filled Anger

Oh! What is this?
Pain inside my heart,
Maybe it's anger...
A vibrant twist of both...

Red anger pouring out,
Raindrops pouring down
From my bloodshot eyes.

Oh! What is this?
Emptiness,
Running short of emotion...
No more pain,
No more anger,
Coming up empty...
It's like everything's leaked out

Red numbness pouring out
In order to feel something
And raindrops
Don't feel my eyes anymore...

I feel nothing,
Emotions run dry,
I want to feel something,
Anything at all...

But coming up empty
Is all I seem to have.

It's just not fair...
It's all coming back,
An ache in my heart,
Anger filling my body.

I'd rather have this
Than feel numb,
But red anger pours out
Once again
As raindrops feel my eyes
Once again.

Raindrops fall down to my dirty,
Beat up shoe.
Pain and anger,
So much,
Red stains now feel my mattress.

So, I'll listen to the beat
Of my favorite band
Because it seems
To be the only thing
That will keep my mind occupied
From all this anger and pain

And I'll fall asleep,
Headphones in my ear,
So my anger won't
Win me over,
At least for tonight.

A Duel For Love

I fought a duel for my love
And I lost the fight
I fell awkward unto the floor
Became blinded for a while
I lay and bled alone
In the gutter of my self pity
To have fought for love
And watched it become lost
Became a living hell
Constant my thoughts played on
Every encounter of that duel
Had a better man won
Of were it just a misfortune
Something I would later remorse
I became dishevelled for a while
The world held no care for me
And I held no care for it
The anger of a broken heart
Defeated in a duel for love
Time has passed slowly
And though the pain has eased
A deep scar remains
From a duel for love
I fought and lost

I love that you are here with me
I love that we are still friends
I love when we talk you always smile
I love that you’re alive
I love that I make you happy
I love that I can’t forget you
I love that it’s everything I wanted
I love that you’re here
I love when you smile
I love that I always smile with you
I love that we get along wherever we are
I love that I love you
I love when we laugh together
I love when I hug you
I love that our friends know,
I love you
I love that I only want you
I love that fate brought us together
I love the way you talk to me
I love that you are here in my life
I love how you choose me than them
I love your words
I love that you’re clean
I love that you make me feel special
I love that you’re mine
I love our friends
I love how you’re peaceful
I love your parents
I love how well they’ve raised you
I love seeing you smile
I love that you mean so much
I love that I love you
I love how I would kill to be with you
I love that you’re in my heart forever
I love that you are my first love but

I hate you're no longer mine
I hate the people you now call friends
I hate the men you sleep with
I hate your dad for what he's done
I hate seeing you so unhappy
I hate so many things but the one
I hate the most
I hate that I love you
I hate I would die for you
I hate I'll never get over you
I hate this new you
I hate myself for not hating you
