A Treasure Sought
A pyracantha heavy with berries red,
Climbs strongly from the flower bed,
And radiates a warm cheerful sight,
Its rich fruit, a hungry bird's delight.
A massive show in blood coloured hue,
Suspended there for nature to bestrew,
Abundance found, a treasure sought,
Such juicy fare autumn's season brought.
Fine sustenance for a long winter's chill,
Our feathered friends can now feast at will,
On flesh coated seeds, with thorns to protect,
Aliment hung before them, a tasty prospect.

The Autumn Sing
Here’s the autumn sing…
A symphony from its falling leaf…
Catching the wind from a future winter…
Rolling through a shy light…
Oh autumn shall not die in winter…
As a promise summer will surely come….
Ah autumn is a second spring…
Not all could see, all leaf is flower….
Autumn warn a terrible winter phase….
No one listen, No one will hear it…
As it is only the sound of silence….
Who can hold an indefinite sound...?
No one embrace the autumn….
As it is only a sad phase…
It gives nothing but an autumn chill….
Spring always comes with a better glory…
Oh autumn with its broken feather…
Could other season patch it up again?
No other season will devote their being….
Autumn suffers alone….
Autumns leaf keep on falling…
Spring comes cheerfully…
Summer comes strongly….
Winter always comes coldly…..
But autumn changes its face every time….
No one knows the differences….
Just the secret of the nature…
Why can’t it’d be a spring?
Why can’t it’d be summer?
Why can’t it’d be winter?
Ah autumn dance again between all the falling leaf…
It enjoys its sadness…
It embraces its pain….
As only from autumn all painter learn…
How to capture a true hidden beauty…
All speaks the same in every season….
But autumn remain different…..
For autumn is an alone singer…
Only a genuinely soul painter could witness its beauty….
That’s all the autumn need….
A silence audience....
Who can make other being see….
A glance of its beauty...

Interlude
Mid this hot green glowing gloom
A word falls with a raindrop's boom...
Like baskets of ripe fruit in air
The bird-songs seem, suspended where
Those goldfinches--the ripe warm lights
Peck slyly at them--take quick flights.
My feet are feathered like a bird
Among the shadows scarcely heard;
I bring you branches green with dew
And fruits that you may crown anew
Your whirring waspish-gilded hair
Amid this cornucopia--
Until your warm lips bear the stains
And bird-blood leap within your veins.

Nature Rejoice
Nature rejoice,
for spring is here
Flowers burst into bloom
everywhere
Bright colored daffodils appear
Nature rejoice,
for spring is here
Nature sing,
for summer has come
Where birds and bees
chirp and hum
Along sandy beaches,
children run
Nature sing, for summer has come
Nature celebrate,
autumn is here to please
Where golden leaves fall from trees
And dance and sway in
the cool breeze
Nature celebrate,
autumn is here to please
Nature be happy,
winter has brought
The season of exciting
downhill sport
Icy crystals hang from our fort
Nature celebrate,
Winter has brought

Our Christmas Tree
Our Christmas tree, stood straight and tall,
We had it standing in the hall,
With decorations, sparkling bright,
And baubles, glittering in the light,
Rich tinsel laced around branches wide,
With bells and bows, that could be spied
Hiding among the dark green pine,
In silver and gold, boldly they did shine,
And at the very top, such a wondrous sight,
A star was placed there, which gave delight.
The whole effect so pleasured the eye.
We planted it outside, now it's 18 feet high.
This year it will once again, be a thrill,
Hung with big coloured lights, in the crisp winter chill.

Farewell To Summer
It has begun: a few leaves are falling;
Autumn has started its gentle calling.
Summer is slowly coming to an end;
Now autumn wants to be our friend.
During autumn, we may feel a little cold,
But, in return, we've been promised gold.
Golden leaves will be found all around:
Up in the trees, and down on the ground.
Leaves of yellow, brown, orange, and fiery red,
Will form a coloured carpet to soften our tread.
We'll be presented with a whole wealth of riches,
As, from summer to autumn, the season switches.
The tall, towering trees will be set ablaze,
As traces of summer are slowly erased.
Sorely missed will be summer's long days;
Sorely missed will be summer's warm rays.
But time moves on, and the summer must go;
No doubt we'll be dazzled by autumn's show.
Autumn prefers to paint us a different scene;
It likes to wipe summer's colour palette clean.
Some say farewell to summer with a sad tear,
But, others much prefer this time of the year.
Chill September mornings may be here again,
But our memories of this summer will remain.

Autumn Falling Leaves
When all have been and gone away,
Like leaves from green to amber orange,
Falling down and to decay,
Is the time for all in nature to fall,
And the leaves on the trees show it all,
Autumn and its falls of fall,
Where all the branches have dropped their leaves,
All have gone except the evergreens,
Showing signs to us that live among,
Four seasons weather,
Where Autumn is,
Just like in life,
When full circle of life is known,
A start in spring where buds appear,
Then in summer full bloom trees will be,
Hence, fall shows all,
When nature falls,
Begining another season,
Winter and chill tempetures,
Where nature decays,
And leaves do fall,
To generate again,
Renewing its life,
Come spring again,
Untill then,
Autumn sheads its leaves of blossom and blooms,
And soon again autumn begins,
From new to old,
And then old to new,
Buds in spring and leaves of green,
Showing birth from what did decayed,
And brought forth from,
What was bear on the trees,
From where beneath was where once,
Those Autumn falling leaves.

Behold, an Eskimo Kingdom.
Eskimos live on caribou,
Fish, berries, whales and seals.
Hard biscuits and tea warm ‘em
Other than what had from nature.
What a delicacy when blended
Caribou meat, seal oil and
Artic berries with ice flakes,
‘Akutok' their creamy delight!
Snow dwellings in winter,
Tents of skins on summer,
Eskimos called both an Igloo!
Their Chief had to be skilled,
In hunting or Fishing, whom
Advises sought when needed.
Brave hunters and gatherers
By nature, moved in groups,
When seasons changed, for
Life's course for every race
Is different in many a ways!
Their bodies covered by skins
Of Polar bear, fox, seals
And Caribou kept them warm
In their Frozen kingdom!
Huskies drawn sleds to slide
Over, Kayak for single hunter
And Umiaks to carry families
Across the icy waters, were
Their conveyance natural.
Wild whales when appear
Eskimo group would hunt
With skill and might sheer,
A survival on frozen thorns!
Stories that have traversed
Generations on drum beats
Made them dance during
Winter nights for hours long.
Responsible valorous men
Gathered food for families
When women made clothes
And cooked for their men.
Fur-bearing fox and bear
Were hunted for skin, fish
And seal for flesh, in ocean,
Rivers and streams all seasons.
Sought aid of‘Shamans' to make
Spirits appear to cure when sick,
Ensure a good hunting and
To control the weather hostile.
Even in their frozen minds
Forms of art had its place,
With many available stuff
Had manifestation of skills.
A brother Eskimo grins on
Looking at his FB screen,
By the frozen Greenland or
Siberia, Alaska or Canada!
Might be in pursuit of new
Techniques for hunting,
Shaping, shearing, sailing
Still with his Sealskin boots on!

I Have Seen Autumn
I have never felt the chill of winter
Nor the birth of spring
Only the two faces of Nature
The golden sun shining
Or the heavens openly weeping.
But I have seen autumn
As I looked at her
No cold winter in her smile
A promise of summer in her eyes
Her hair of autumn leaves.
I have never felt autumn
But I have seen it
It’s the canvass of Rembrandt
Dark, red, crimson, gold
But I have never felt it.
Is the autumn breeze damp and soft like her lips?
Is the autumn sky naked and warm like her skin?
But I have never kissed her lips nor touched her skin
I have only seen autumn
But I have never felt it.

A Cool Atmosphere Of Nature!
Hot day transforming into cool atmosphere by clouds
Makes it look winter continuation even after the season!
Concentration of winter though diluted the chill is there
Making setting of next season slow due to natural change.
Still heavy rain with floods in some parts of the world,
Snow accumulation in some parts and hot season beginning
Nature never relents to man’s exploitation very easily ever
Till everyone understands and respects Nature with care!
Reminds it that under the mercy of nature everything functions
And nothing can change the dictum whatever be man’s skill
To create a modern world of technology against Nature ever!
To have a good end means followed should also be good;
Bad end nobody likes indeed though means followed is bad;
Nature never allows greed to excel natural order by any means!

Irresistible
Seasons come, seasons go
But each season leaves a distinction
For which it is remembered
So once a season came
With a green environment
Rosy plants all around
And I enjoyed the period
Went to the orchard
And picked a flower
That I stayed with long after the season had vanished
But this same flower I had picked
Went with the season
I did not know I could not stay with it
Without its season
Despite all that
There is a wonderful flower I have seen
Which does not vary with seasons
But stays amidst all circumstances and seasons
It has a goon\d name
That every time I mention it
I find myself hungry
Dear sister
Pick the flower too
The all season flower of salvation!

Welcome Autumn
Now, early sunset and late sunrise,
days have trimmed short their size.
Schools, universities open after break,
maple's gold leaves go autumn break.
Valley dressed in flowers, coloured brisk,
wait next summer for recreation trips.
By sun falling, stars weep, shed tears,
cascading smoky damp, wets the air.
Birds flocking, planning to disappear;
to find warm nestle before winter nears.
Hello! season of harvest and abundance,
Confer to land, lot fruits and food grains.
Goodbye heat! Welcome season of festivity!
Love to peek the beauty of changeability.

With Love Winter I Encounter
Winter is a cool season
Teaching in coolness a lesson
To each and every person
Get profits those who listen
In the night when it snows
The reason God alone knows
Coldness affects the nose
Entry to Air nose will close
Especially during Winter
Chill breeze will happily enter
For everything Sun is the center
To Sun, God alone is the mentor
Will come in Winter light-festival
All await eagerly its arrival
It will bring in mood superb revival
That festival helps in peace-survival
Winter night will be so chill
Feeling it will give a strange thrill
Too much of it will make body ill
Doing in moderation needs skill
Darkness will come quickly
Morning feelings will be sickly
Sun will be late, but will come luckily
Fog and snow will spread thickly
Stars and Moon will brightly shine
To prove the presence of Divine
Chill weather is sometimes fine
Rest of the time, it is a fine
Winter will congest the chest
Severe cold will be the guest
Doctors may take a test
But that cold, only God can arrest
Taking a cup of hot milk
Will bring energy in bulk
Night Sky will shine like silk
So there is no need to sulk
In case body is exposed
Punishment will be imposed
Nature can never be opposed
'God is Nature' is by all supposed
Winter is by God alone brought
Cool lessons are by Winter taught
Even the Sun decides not to be hot
Though a change will be by all sought
Festivals will come one by one
To rejuvenate the mood of everyone
They will give all Heavenly fun
Peace of mind will be won
Holy Christmas will come as a boon
Happy New Year will also arrive soon
Bliss will dazzle like the full Moon
Will be chill even the afternoon
Gradually Winter will depart
Giving maximum pleasure to heart
Valuable education it will impart
Winter is Nature's unique art
After rainy season Winter is born
Quoting pleasant spring, do not scorn
Seasons are Divine Angels I kindly warn
Love them during eve, night and morn
Winter, Spring, Autumn, and Summer
Must make your mood calmer
Rainy season has its own glamor
To complain against, never even murmur
God is the one and only true owner
Pray to Him in a peaceful manner
They are born out of God's magic spanner
God surely cannot be a bad planner
To Winter body must adjust
Winter's chill, skin must digest
No use if all beings protest
All must participate in seasons' contest
No season is superior to Mother
Her touch will be softer than feather
She can make all hardship wither
So tackle seasons with mom's love brother
In case your mother is no more
Mental peace prayer will restore
If benign acts you continue to store
A place in Heaven you can score
O- Winter- Run not like a sprinter
You are made by God- the carpenter
Beings fear only death- the hunter
Until end's arrival, let life be a banter.

Winter Season
Winter season has arrived
All that has survived
Is once again at risk
Everyone is in brisk
Attempt to keep hot
At every spot
All creatures are still
Birds is keeping closed its bill
Weather is chill
Ready to kill
With icy hands
In many lands
Always be careful
The weather is cool
Media have already told
Be ready to beat the cold
It is winter season
Protect from cold for a reason
Keep yourself warm
To avoid any harm

Keep me warm
A winter day will sometimes bring me the
flu, but I always wait on the blazing sun that
rises every now and then in winter season,
warm sunshine, warm you are, every morning
you bring your life, your lucent light warm up my
fingers, my face my body, sometimes my nose I
can't feel, but you indulge my face and warm my
cold days, your risen in winter season is like
seen you giving birth to life, winter, winter wont
give me the blues, nor make my days gloomy,
there will always be you cheerful and bright,
my mornings you bring the gift of sunlit, a glint
of sunshine can make me feel blessed,
unalterable you are, sovereign, enigmatic
and brilliant to all beings.

Sighting
I ask for a chance to sight a bird,
May winter run away afterward.
This season is just some of the year,
What may pass can disappear.
My season transmits its pride to the park,
And the nation changes a season, very dark.
Let evil be somebody very dark and grey,
Not the present season, not winter anyway.

Autumn Becomes Winter
Autumn is becoming Winter,
And as it does everything dies.
Autumn is a slow decay in warm colours,
And Winter is grey and absent.
Some of the redy-brown leaves sit on the trees,
Yet the cold chill sings a song
That could only be the Winter.
It is scarf weather now.
I turn my collar up against the cold and damp.
The Sun has stopped shining all day,
Now we see it for a few hours a day
And then we are entombed in darkness.
You could run to catch up with the Sun,
But you’d never make it.
Be left like ship smoke on the horizon,
Just a spot in the distance.
You cannot escape the Winter.
Autumn is becoming Winter,
And as it does everything dies.

Few Can Resist The Autumn
Few can resist the Autumn.
And...
This season with changes upon them.
Few can resist,
The picturesqueness...
Of the Autumn.
With the color of the leaves turning bright,
To their delight.
Red and yellow with orange in sight.
From Sunrise until twilight.
Few can resist the Autumn,
When...
Autumn falls.
And...
Few can resist the Autumn,
When...
Autumn calls.
And the East Coast comes to host,
Them all...
Winter, Spring, Summer and again the Fall.
Few can resist the Autumn.
Hoping that Summer stalls.
Few can resist the Autumn.
Few can resist the Autumn.
Hoping that Summer stalls.
Few can resist the Autumn.
And the East Coast comes to host,
Them all...
Winter, Spring, Summer and again the Fall.
Few can resist,
The picturesqueness...
None at all.
Few can resist the Autumn.
Hoping that Summer stalls.
Few can resist the Autumn.
None at all.

0028 Emily Dickinson Considers Her Breasts
White silk gown – Sunday silk – yet
daily donned – tight-cuffed –
cool hands – folded - warm lap -
milk-white - under orange vest – and -
bearing – or to bear? –
two Legacies - from You, Sire –
this simple pair accompanying me -
twin-mirrored –
two poems yet to be read –
two words yet to be said –
to stimulate – a man -
circumferencing – unwritten future – to know – perhaps - which? -
kiss of need? as kid of goat –
little lips - innocent of teeth - tugged
as pulled red berry? Cherries fit
such little mouths. Or -
kiss of love? milk-white skin
brushed first – moustache – then
body’s delirious shudder –
ecstatic contract!
two red berries – red-plucked –
this first?
Will there be a morning - mooring –
you as sunrise -
after wild and feathered night,
bondage as play - so sweet?
Or – are these berries – to grow parched?
A rose - cease to bloom - before the flower taken -
autumn berries - heavy-hanging –
dropping – unmilked – unmouthed -
love put away - put in a drawer,
hiding brave face in hand?
I thus eventual – be –
awaiting further chance
of eternity?
You cannot put a fire out –
you love me – you are sure -
but – which is it, sir?

Summer Days
Summer days are warm, and wonderfully long.
Deep down, within my heart, I feel a joyful song.
Gone are winter days, with their dowdy browns;
The trees and flowers now wear coloured crowns.
The natural world displays its bounteous beauty.
The soft, summer breeze is fragrant and fruity.
Bees, butterflies, and other bugs, now take flight.
Days of summer, feel so very cheerful and bright.
The days of winter can be so deeply depressing,
But now, their true selves, plants are expressing.
Suddenly, the world feels like a much better place,
And the happy smiles are evident on many a face.
The world, all about us, is given a golden glow,
Which illuminates Mother Nature's vibrant show.
Following the winter months: all dull and dreary;
We're treated to a display that's much more cheery.
Winter woodlands appear so very bland and bare,
But, come the summer, they look fabulous and fair.
Shafts of sunlight shine down through the tall trees;
The leaf laden branches rustle in the summer breeze.
Some secretly wish that summer could last forever;
That, all year round, we could enjoy warm weather.
Once summer is here, you hate for it to have to end;
You warm to it, as you would, to your dearest friend.

Last Ghosts Of Autumn
The threadbare weave of winter
comes after the last leaf of autumn
has only barely touched the ground.
A chill that inherits the air
tells of the new season around.
The last ghosts of autumn
linger as if in a dream
before winter’s blanket
shrouds all to hide the ground.
