From Your Baby Son
Mommy and Daddy,
I know it's sad
That we had to say goodbye
I want you both to keep smiling
Even though there are tears
In your eyes
My soul has moved on
I'm in heaven you see
But please do not worry...
For God is taking care of me
I know your hearts are broken
All the pieces out of place
But I will always be
A sweet memory
That no amount of time can erase
As you heal
You will begin to see
There are many special places
You can find me
I'm in the warmth of the sunlight
I'm in the scent of the flowers
I'm in the glow of the moonlight
And the rainbows after the rain showers
I'm a star up in the night sky
I'm in the twinkle of
My brothers' eyes
Please give them a lot of kisses
Give them a lot of hugs
For through them
I can feel your love
Mommy and Daddy,
It will all be okay
Our souls knew and loved one another
Long before this day
I want you to be happy and whole
Even though I could not stay
So please don't cry,
This goodbye
Is only for a moment in time
I'll be waiting
Beyond the clouds
In our life on the other side

Mommy & Daddy
Ask your mommy and daddy, what happened to the indian?
How come theyre all living in places
With too much snow or too much sand?
Tell your mommy, I got a funny feeling deep inside of me
Ask your daddy, is it really as bad as people make it seem?
Wa ta tick it ta too too..
Ask your mommy why everybody swallows all those little pills
Ask your daddy why that soldier doesnt care who he kills
After theyve put you to sleep and tucked you safely down in your bed
Whisper, mommy and daddy would you rather that
I learned it from my friends, instead?
Do you think Im to young to know, to see, to feel, or hear
My questions need an answer or a vaccuum will appear
Dont be surprised if they turn and walk away
And tell your mommy and daddy that you love them anyway
That you love them anyway...
Give them a kiss
Love will set you free
Kings of emi
Mommy and daddy (alt.)
Ask your mommy and daddy, what happened to the indian?
Ask your mommy and daddy to tell you where you really came from
Then mommy and daddy will probably turn and quickly walk away
Then ask your mommy and daddy who really killed j.f.k
Wa ta tick it ta too too...
Ask your mommy if she really gets off on all her - all her pills
Ask your daddy, why doesnt that soldier care who he kills?
After theyve put you to sleep and tucked you safely down in your bed
Whisper mommy and daddy,
Would it matter if the bullet went through my head?
If it was my blood spilling on the kitchen floor
If it was my blood, mommy, would you care a little more?
Dont be surprised when they turn and start to cry
And tell your mommy and daddy, tell your mommy and daddy
Scream it to your mommy and daddy
Theyre living in a lie, a lie, a lie
Its all a lie, a lie, a lie
A lie, a lie...

What Children Worry About
Mommy
Mommy, mommy
what’s going on in the world today?
Mommy am I going to be OK?
I heard some kids were wearing bombs
and blowing people up..
Mommy their world is very far away.
They can’t come here, right mommy?
Am I going to be OK.

Daddy
Daddy, daddy
I asked mommy some questions yesterday,
and tears were in her eyes.
She’s really scared daddy,
I know the reason why.
The kids with bombs,
might be here in our schools.
They won’t listen to the rules.
Mommy is really scared that one day,
you’ll both have no choice but to send me away

Mommy, Daddy
Mommy, Daddy, there’s no reason to fear
I figured it out late last night.
I said the words for God to hear.
I know He knows all things
and will do what’s right,
sooo… we say the words for God to hear,
everyday and every night.
Guess what Mommy, Daddy
everything will be alright.
Mommy, why are you still crying? ? ?

Daddy Why?
Daddy why did you leave Mommy before I was born?
Daddy why weren't you there for my birth?
Daddy why did you divorce Mommy when I was only five months old?
Daddy why did you day those mean things about Mommy?
Daddy why weren't you there for my first birthday?
Daddy why weren't you there when I took my first step?
Daddy why weren't you there when I got hurt?
Daddy why weren't you there when I became a teenager?
Daddy you're not going to be there when I turn 16.
Daddy you're not going to be there when I graduate from high school.
Daddy you're not going to be there when I get married.
Daddy you're not going to be there when I have children of my own.
Daddy you're NEVER going to be here.
Daddy you had a choice.
Daddy I chose too.
Daddy I NEVER WANT TO BE LIKE YOU!

The Diary Of A Young Girl (diary From An Angel)
Dear Diary,
Daddy was on the couch again
Mommy left again.
I walked alone to school today,
Somtimes i feel alone, sometimes I feel like a real lady.
My friend left me at lunch,
I was alone, I miss her a bunch.
I got a bruise from daddy,
He told me I have to do what he says, and call him daddy
Mommy got home late tonight,
But thats no different from every night.
Daddy put me in bed with him,
I said I didn't want to, but he made me do it with him.
I cut myself, I cut my arm,
I sat and did my own harm.
Daddy and mommy were yelling,
Please don't tell, the don't know I am telling.
Daddy threatened me,
He said I ruined his life, and that I can't start new.
Mommy said I was nothing
God said she's bluffing.
Daddy killed mommy today,
As I sat and watched today.
Mommy left me alone here,
I can't feel her near.
Daddy says I'm his now, his to enjoy,
That my body is his toy.
Daddy cut through my body,
He didn't stop, even when i said I had to go potty.
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I met god today
I saw mommy's face again today.
I don't want to see daddy again,
Not after the pain he's left with me, with nothing to gain.
I left him alone in the world,
I left him alone.
He hurt me yesterday, that's all I know now,
I'll never forget...... I don't know how

Dont Cry Daddy
(words & music by scott davis)
Today I stumbled from my bed
With thunder crashing in my head
My pillow still wet
From last night tears
And as I think of giving up
A voice inside my coffee-cup
Kept crying but
And ringing in my ears
Dont cry daddy
Daddy, please dont cry
Daddy, youve still got me and little tommy
Together well find a brand new mommy
Daddy, daddy, please laugh again
Daddy ride us on your back again
Oh, daddy, please dont cry
Why are children always first
To feel the pain and hurt the worst
Its true, but somehow
It just dont seem right
cause evry time I cry I know
It hurts my little children so
I wonder will it be the same tonight
Dont cry daddy
Daddy, please dont cry
Daddy, youve still got me and little tommy
Together well find a brand new mommy
Daddy, daddy, please laugh again
Daddy ride us on your back again
Oh, daddy, please dont cry
Oh, daddy, please dont cry

Daddy Died Mommy Cried The Little Girl Laughed
Daddy is dead
Mommy shakes her head
They say Mommy poisoned him
And all the little girl can do is laugh
The little girl wanted to shout joyfully
It was all the little girl's fault
The little girl poisoned Daddy
Finally the little girl's revenge
Mommy and Daddy used to beat the little girl all the time
Mommy would watch and laugh while the little girl screamed
Because Daddy was raping the little girl
hey people a girl i knew wrote this poem
creepy huh?

She Mentioned Nothing About Your Eyes
Daddy?
Mommy asked me to ask you...
Where did I come from?
'Boy...
I've been asking myself that same question,
The first time I laid my eyes on you.'
No!
That's not the version mommy told me.
She said she knew I'd be coming soon...
The moment she let you touch her.
And she mentioned nothing about your eyes!

Wrinkles and Grey Hair (Children)
Mommy's getting wrinkles.
Daddy has grey hair.
It wasn't very long ago
when those things weren't there.
Wish I could smooth the wrinkles out
and darken Daddy's hair
to stop the changes going on.
It makes me feel so scared.
Grampa, does it mean they'll die?
They have wrinkles and grey hair!
I never used to worry
before those things were there.
Grampa said to look at him.
There were lots of wrinkles there,
and on his head, a snowstorm
was the color of his hair.
'Wrinkles only come to point
where smiles were, here and there.
It's your mommy's turn to get some
for the happy times you've shared.'
His white, and Daddy's grey hair
well, it was there to show
who had lived the longest time
so everyone could know!
Grampa said it's part of life.
We love, we learn, we live.
We earn grey hair and wrinkles,
they're prizes only God can give.
Surrender
Mother told me, yes, she told me I'd meet girls like you.
She also told me, "Stay away, you'll never know what you'll catch."
Just the other day I heard a soldier falling off some Indonesian junk that's
going round.
Mommy's alright, Daddy's alright, they just seem a little weird.
Surrender, surrender, but don't give yourself away, ay, ay, ay.
Father says, "Your mother's right, she's really up on things."
"Before we married, Mommy served in the WACS in the Philippines."
Now, I had heard the WACS recruited old maids for the war.
But mommy isn't one of those, I've known her all these years.
Mommy's alright, Daddy's alright, they just seem a little weird.
Surrender, surrender, but don't give yourself away, ay, ay, ay.
Whatever happened to all this season's losers of the year?
Ev'ry time I got to thinking, where'd they disappear?
When I woke up, Mom and Dad are rolling on the couch.
Rolling numbers, rock and rolling, got my Kiss records out.
Mommy's alright, Daddy's alright, they just seem a little weird.
Surrender, surrender, but don't give yourself away, ay, ay, ay.
Away.
Away.

An Unborn Child's Poem
Today my life began, but some say I’m not a real person yet,
Yes they say only Mommy exist, because me they have not yet met.
But just like a small crumb of bread is yet truly a bread,
My Mommy is and so am I, so they once in the Bible have read.
Yes for even when I was made in secret,
God saw even the embryo of me,
In a fear-inspiring way, I am wonderfully made,
even now to be.
Just think in a year or so, I shall be laughing and later talking,
Mommy and Daddy will be the first to see me walking.
Only 20 days, but my heart is beating on its own,
Gently beating, whispers of a lovely tone.
I am to be a girl, with blond hair and blue eyes,
I am growing a bit every day, and becoming very wise.
I want to learn to sing and dance,
To giggle and love at every chance.
To make Mommy and Daddy very proud of me,
When I become a young lady to be.
When I graduate, I want to be an artist or maybe even a scientist,
I know Mommy would support me, even if I pick another one on my list.
Tup-tup, tup-tup, are you listening Mommy to the whispers of my heart,
Suddenly today I feel differently on my part.
I scream with silent tears, “No Mommy I’m not ready to come on out,
I wonder if she hears my little shout.
I love you Mommy, I need more time to be with you,
I love you Mommy, Do you love me too.
I want to get married, and have my own kids to love and to hold,
To treat you nice and take care of you when you and I grow old.
My hopes and dreams disappeared in a instant and suddenly without a thought,
Mommy did not stop to think how very hard for my life I did fought.
Yes today I took my last little breath, never to have a chance to see,
The possibilities that I can be, Because today was the day that my Mommy killed me!

Long, Long Way To Go
You held my hand and then you slipped away
And I may never see your face again
So tell me how do to fill the emptiness inside
Without love, what is life?
And anyone who knew us both can see
We always were the better part of me
I never wanted to be this free
All this pain, does it go away?
Then every time I turn around
And youre nowhere to be found
I know I got a long, long way to go
Before I can say goodbye to you
Oh, I got a long, long way to go
Before I can say goodbye to all I ever knew
To you, to you
From memory, there is no hiding place
Turn on the tv and I see you there
In every crowd theres always someone with your face
Everywhere, trying not to care
Then every time I turn around
And youre nowhere to be found
I know I got a long, long way to go
Before I can say goodbye to you
Oh, I got a long, long way to go
Before I can say goodbye to all I ever knew
To you, I wish you everythin
And all the best that life can bring
I only hope you think of me sometimes, oh
And even though I feel the pain
I know that I will love again
The time will come, oh, and Ill move on
I got a long, long way to go
Before I can say goodbye to you
Oh, I got a long, long way to go, got a long way to go
Before I can say goodbye, before I say goodbye
To all I ever knew, to all I ever knew
I got a long, I got a long, long way to go, long way to go
Before I can say, before I say, goodbye to you
Say goodbye, say goodbye
Oh, I got a long, long way to go
Before I can say goodbye to all I ever knew
Girl, I wish you the best I know, oh and all of the rest, to you
I got a long, long way to go
Before I can say goodbye to you

Never Should Have Trusted Him
watching from my window looking through the rain
i see him hitting and beating her. i really want to do something but i know i cant
i try blocking my ears and closing my eyes it hurts to much to here her and watch her be in pain
if he keeps this up i know she wont be here long
i hated i ever trusted him! everything i ever did wasted and gone!
i look at him, screaming and crying yelling over and over i hate you dad!
i wipe a tear from my eye i hate it that he’s doing this to mom! its really hurts inside, and makes me really mad!
mommy never did anything to you i scream
i cant take anymore so i curl into the back of the room, closing my eyes wishing this will be nothing but a dream
as i rock back and forth i think over and over what mommy could of done to make daddy this way
i scream as loud as possible i hate this day
then i look out the window and I'm so shocked to see daddy with that gun
its not a toy one me and him use to play with and have fun
he’s pointing it at mommy she doesn’t know what to do i look at her and can tell she has no clue
i think to my self yelling over and over what can i do
i get an idea and run into the rain
mommy’s always telling me to be a man not a boy so i stand there ready to take this pain
i see him getting ready to shoot and run in front of her i fall to the ground as the bullet goes in me
there both shocked not knowing what to do he cant believe he really did this i here him over my screams say” how could this be'
i look up at them taking my last few breaths of life
i lie to them so they wont be afraid 'don’t worry mom its not that bad just feels like a prick from a knife'
she cries down at me
i look up at dad and ask him t please let me and mom be
he walks away and i look up at my mom
'mom i lover you your the best, your the bomb'
i couldn’t let him do that to you
you really should of knew
that i wouldn’t let him hurt you
me and her share one last hug i whisper to her right before i die
don’t worry mom don’t cry well be together again some day everything will be fine

When We Say Goodbye
when we say goodbye
words never end
and tears never stop
when we say goodbye
kisses never enough
and time never tolerates
when we say goodbye
we caught by fear
though we all smiling
when we say goodbye
we want to stay still
but the road slowly moving
why hard to separate
because love too long
or doubt becomes renegade
why drinks never sated
because memories too strong
or loneliness mates
when we say goodbye
hope we meet someday
in another place we never know
when we say goodbye
give hug once more
till we can endure all sorrow

Mom says I should play outside,
Mom says I should be whatever I want.
Dad says I should have fought harder.
Mom said nothing.
Dad says that I am stupid,
Dad says I should have paid attention in class.
Mom says I am not stupid,
Mom says I should try harder.
Mom says I am smart,
Mom says I am growing well.
Dad says I am growing weak,
Dad still says I am stupid.
Mom says, though I am leaving, I can always come back.
Dad said nothing.
Mommy said goodbye...

The Little Girl
Her parents never took the young girl to church
Never spoke of his name
Never read her his word
Two non-believers walking lost in this world
Took their baby with them
What a sad little girl
Her daddy drank all day and mommy did drugs
Never wanted to play
Or give kisses and hugs
Shed watch the tv and sit there on the couch
While her mom fell asleep
And her daddy went out
And the drinking and the fighting
Just got worse every night
Behind their couch shed be hiding
Oh what a sad little life
And like it always does, the bad just got worse
With every slap and every curse
Until her daddy in a drunk rage one night
Used a gun on her mom and then took his life
And some people from the city took the girl far away
To a new mom and new dad
Kisses and hugs everyday
Her first day of sunday school the teacher walked in
And a small little girl
Stared a picture of him
She said I know that man up there on that cross
I dont know his name
But I know he got off
He was there in my old house
And held me close to his side
As I hid there behind our couch
The night that my parents died

Results Of Any Choices Made
I've never found it acceptable,
How grown people still use their childhoods...
To make continued excuses for themselves.
With the seeing of psychologists, psychiatrists...
And others designated to be certified,
To professionally analyze their minds.
With a trying to get them to realize and find,
That a being held accountable with a clarity...
For one's own decisions made,
Is no longer the responsibility of mommy and daddy.
However...
Mommy and daddy should have been arrested...
A long time ago,
For permitting such spoiled children...
Access to beliefs,
They were entitled to point blame on others.
With a dismissing of strict discipline,
To ensure those now thoughtless knew the difference.
Mommy and daddy could be 'sentenced' for not doing this.
BUT...
Regardless of what should have taken place?
The results of any choices made are clearly to be,
What they are as seen from what has been selected...
To represent the best of efforts allowed and condoned.

I Miss My Mom
Mommy I miss you
Mommy I love you
Mommy you are everything for me
You are my best mom
You are my best friend
You are helping me more than I had seen
You always miss and care about me all the time
When every time I miss you
Sometime I cry
Sometime I feel like I want to die without you
Well, if someone read this they will think that I'm a weirdo
Because I act like a little kid that cry over a yo-yo
Yes. I agree I am if you give your love to other kid and not me
And yes. I am a jealous type of girl about my mom
Every year for mother day
I saw a lot of people buy gift for their mom with a smile on their face
But my eyes are watering and crying
I get jealous
I wish that my mom will be with me
I always think that if other people get sad or happy
Their mom will be the first one that they share
But for me I have no one
I get jealous when I saw someone mom really care about their child
Because why? Because I need a love from my mom
I mean she give me almost everything except she not here with me
Sorry mom, I really crying right now… I have nothing else to say beside I wanted to stay with you I hope my wish will come true…

Goodbye To You
Of all the things I believe in
I just want to get it over with
tears from behind my eyes
but I do not cry
Counting the days that past me by
I've been searching deep down in my soul
Words that I'm hearing are starting to get old
Looks like I'm starting all over again
The last three years were just pretend and I say
Goodbye to you
Goodbye to everything I thought I knew
You were the one I love
The one thing that I tried to hold on to
I still get lost in your eyes
And it seems like I can't live a day without you
Closing my eyes till you chase my thoughts away
To a place where I am blinded by the light but it's not right
Goodbye to you
Goodbye to everything I thought I knew
You were the one I loved
The one thing that I tried to hold on to
Ohhh yeah
It hurts to want everything and nothing at the same time
I want whats yours and I want whats mine
I want you but I'm not giving in this time
Goodbye to you
Goodbye to everything I thought I knew
You were the one I loved
The one thing that I tried to hold on to
The one thing that I tried to hold on to
Goodbye to you
Goodbye to everything I thought I knew
You were the one I loved
The one thing that I tried to hold on to
We the stars fall and I lie awake
Your my shooting star

When Mommy's Sick (Children)
Mommy's sick in bed today.
Doctor says she has the flu.
Sissy's got a stuffy nose
and she might get it, too.
When Mommy's sick it makes us sad
she doesn't feel so good.
She's having juice and medicine
like the doctor said she should.
It's not the same when Mommy's sick,
our hugs are all sick, too,
and kisses for our boo-boo's
also have the flu.
Our sads are even sadder
so our happy's aren't as glad
and when we're being naughty,
that even feels more bad.
Let's get her better, Sissy!
Get some more juice in her
'cause I remember something else,
ewwww... Daddy's cooking dinner...
