Babys Gotten Good At Goodbye

What a rotten day
This turned out to be
I still cant believe
Shed leave so easily
She just packed all her things
Threw them into a pile
Then she loaded her car
And said, after awhile
Shed done this before
But this time she didnt cry

One more look
one more time someone took
this time i talk about it in a rhyme
i choose not to write in prose
yet im not a dead poet and dont talk in the dead language of the rose
i think and think over.. and over.. and now i see
even when i close my eyes i think of me
and the other and if you think i am mean
by not explaining then you dont know what i mean
now I am back here again where fey
and inveigh
started... back where the first real rhyme came
where my heart became untame
now back where i leaned of my hood
i learned i could
keep a shroud that could keep others away
for even more then a day
back thinking of her... onve again i am here
thinking and thinking some more, calling her darling and dear
o how i shed tear after tear
just gotta get over her
knowing she won't love me back
to no avail... i have the same feelings and yet
the stage away still be set
but though i didnt get over you i am different...

Alone all night
Alone all day
I wonder if
It’s supposed to be this way

Alone when I’m up
Alone in bed
All by myself
Not a tear is shed

The outside is empty
Devoid of anything for me
I always look around
But there’s nothing to see

Alone is the way

No one to care

Falling Through Time

I can't answer the questions you ask me,
I don't know what to say.
The answers are somewhere lost in the stars
when the night has turned to day.
But I know if the silence of night could be here,
It would drift through my soul and calm all my fear
And I could reach out and draw you so near to me
Touch me and warm me and I will lie still.
And all that you ask me to give you I will
One living moment we'll have for our own.
A brief flash of time that we spent unalone.
But you ask me for nothing and give what you can
And we're wrapped in a pillow of sleep once again
And my memory drifts through the universe when we are one
Closely we're falling through time
And the earth will turn in the silence of space,
always in motion yet always in place
And all things will change yet remain what they are.
And far will be near and near will be far
And the ages will darken and blend into time
