Stop!
stop!
look! and listen!
just for one moment....
turn and look at the faces
of all those around you.
can you see the need?
the desire? the hurt?
can you feel the lonliness?
hearts beating... just like yours!
listen to the earth cry out!
to the dirge of the rivers.
to the sad farewell of the trees,
the mountains... the birds,
the wolves, the fishes.
a part of you dying!
and that low lonesome sound....
can it be the voice of God
singing that song which
has your name?

Healing Part I
Listen, listen
Listen to the voice,
The voice is an illusion
Listen to the voice,
Dont let the words confuse you
cause you need something to concentrate on,
Concentrate on me
You need something to meditate on,
Meditate on me
Listen, listen
Listen to your heart
Tune into the rhythm
Listen to your heart
Beating with precision
Like the waves upon the seaside,
It goes on and on
Like the spinning of the world,
It goes on and on
Listen, listen
Listen for the sound
That is not in the music
Only you can hear it,
Only you can use it
Its the sound of someone breathing,
Its the breath of life
Its the sound that you are weaving
With the thread of life
Listen, listen
Listen to the sound,
Let nothing disturb you
You are in a place
Where nothing can hurt you
If you feel a strange sensation,
It can do no harm
Like the spiral of creation,
It will soon move on

What.... (If Not To Listen...)
what are we here for then
if not to listen...
to words spoken by the longing heart,
to the sound and inflections of suffering,
to the very heartbeat of need.
to the human cry against injustice,
to the song of freedom
borne by an angry wind...
to listen...
to the soft cry of the newborn baby,
to the moan of lovers entwined.
to the hum of the tractor,
and the thud of the axe.
to the hope of the hammer pounding nails.
to the voices of people choosing dialogue,
to the honest plea for forgiveness...
to listen...
to the song of the mockingbird,
the bark of the dog,
the meow of the cat...
to the marching chant of the ants.
to the sound of the butterfly's wings,
rhyming infinity!
to listen...
to the stillness in our own heartbeats.
for the name we had before birth.
to the prayers of clouds and trees.
for the sound of the Lover's footsteps.
to the ancient wisdom of mountains,
the forever birth of the rivers.
for the voice we've followed throughout time...
to listen...
for the bowls of hunger being filled.
for the silence after gunfire ends.
for the sound of hands joining ours.
for the sound of feet walking beside!

Healing Part Iii
Listen, listen
Listen to the cry
Of a world thats calling to you
Listen to the cry
Of the helpless souls that need you
Though you may have trepidation
You can not refuse
You will find your own salvation
In the path you choose
Listen, listen
Listen to the voice
That whispers in the silence
Listen as the voice
Solidifies your self reliance
Let the peace that youve discovered
Be a guiding light
Let the cry that youve uncovered
Set the world aright
You could not be closer to your maker
Never more or less alone
If you know thyself
Theres nothing else to know
You are whole
Listen, listen
Listen to the sound,
Let nothing disturb you
You are in a place
Where nothing can hurt you
If you feel a strange sensation,
It can do no harm

Listen, Just Listen!
years ago...
i worked in a hospital
as a male aide.
and i used to sit
with the elderly,
as they lay dying,
who often had no family
to be there.
and i learned one of
the great truths of life...
listen!
to the stories of living,
to both the pain,
and the joy,
in the voice...
to the hope that
can only be faith...
to the hum of love.
to the defiant heart beating,
to the sound
of the last door opening...
to the sound the hand makes,
when it lets go!
listen, just listen!

Tiny Demons
One of them plays a piccolo in my ear
Another one makes me smell things that arent there
And they know where to hide
And they know everything thats inside
Of my head
Tiny demons, inside me
One of them ties a lasso around my heart
Another makes me nod when I drive the car
And they wont ever leave
But they wont show their faces to me
And they wait til I feel
Like theyre gone and they jump out and steal
My relief
Tiny demons, inside me

Change The World?
do you know what
will really change the world?
when we learn how to listen...
not just with our ears,
but with our minds,
with our hearts,
with eyes that have seen,
and known...
and so can see
our selves in others!
listen...
with compassion...
without condemnation,
or judgement.
with silence,
no need to correct,
or give advice.
with our hands,
open and willing to help.
with our feet,
ready to walk beside!
to listen...
as if to the sound
of our own hearts beating...
to listen,
and to understand!

It's just to hard to say goodbye

My Global Warning (Dedicated To Wangari Maathai)
I wish we understand the voices
of the birds as they give their
views on the dazzling look of the
earth from the sky maybe we know
how privileged we are to have
dominion over it.
If only we undersand the roars of
the Loins as they praise the splendid
look of the forest we will stop cuting
and plant more trees.
If only we could listen to our hearts as
it praise the seductive, moves of the
of the fishes we will show our waters
more respect..

Come Listen To The Music
I hear the music of the heavenly angels
Coming softly through the blue sky from above
Blending with the music from on the mountain tops
Bringing to all earth's people messages of love.
The song birds are singing to the angels' music
Telling us to hear the words of truth very clear,
"All of earth's people are more alike than different
And to help each other will leave no room for fear".
Come listen to the music of quiet gentle breezes
And music from wild flowers growing on the hill
Whispering softly to awaken our spirits
Saying, "Only listen and let your hearts be still,
So to hear the music from the living waters
That can bring abundance wherever there is need,
Can heal all broken hearts burdened with sorrow,
And can free the people caught by their fears and greed".
Listen to music from the world's throbbing heartbeat
Commanding its people to live in true harmony
By hearing the voices of heavenly angels
Singing love, joy, and peace can be our destiny.
Listen to the music in kind smiling faces
And the music of a child laughing gleefully
Both creating music with notes of "Just Caring".
Won't you please come listen to this music with me?

Bird’s Song
Swim through oceans of air
Birds keep time up there
And spend their days winging
Through forests of clouds, singing
Hymns of nature’s style
Fluttering away all the while
Dancing with angels in the sky
Dancing, dancing as they fly
Through fields of blue
Just to sing their song for you.
Mountains of clouds all about
Saviors in times of drought
Gather up the tears you cry
Into your reservoir in the sky
And listen to the birds sing
Listen for the song in everything
From the forests to the sea
From the bird to the bee
Listen and the song is there
Nature sings everywhere.
The sun rejoices each new day
But it rises in the usual way
To wake up the world with beams of light
And to conquer the darkness of night
But still the birds sing their song
A tribute to the day that’s long
And travel through fields of blue
Just to sing their song for you
And then when all has gone away
They’ll sing for you some other day.

A Song For All Lovers
This song was first released on the the wildlife concert album. it is the only album it has been released on.
I see them dancing somewhere in the moonlight
Somewhere in alaska, somewhere in the sun
I hear them singing a song for all lovers
A song for the two hearts beating only as one
Imagine the morning no longer alone
The arms of another, a place to belong
No longer the struggle, no longer the night
And ever becoming in the quickening light
To see the darkness, to listen within
To answer in kindness, to ever begin
To ever be gentle, to always be strong
To walk in the wonder, to live in the song
In a place of enchantment where the wild things are known
Will the future remember when the lovers are gone?
And I see them dancing somewhere in the moonlight
Somewhere in alaska, somewhere in the sun
I hear them singing a song for all lovers
A song for the two hearts beating only as one

The Love Song
hush! don't cry and listen
can you hear it? ...no? ... then listen closely
now can you hear it?
yes that's it
the song
the song of love
i can hear it too
but i cannot seem to feel it within me
for my heart has left me shattered and pained
bleeding heavily for the love that i've lost
tears fill my eyes everytime i hear it
the love song
i can feel it
slowly trying to penetrate these safety walls that i've built
taunting me to pen my heart once more
to love again, to play again, to hurt for one last time
the song of love
can you see what it's trying to do?
it's trying to taint me with its permanent scars
trying to mark me with its blissfull, bitter-sweet meories
the love song
make it stop! shut it up! make it less joyful
can't listen to it anymore
my ears gone deaf from lies i've heard
my heart has gone numb with the pain
the love song
just make it stop
make it stop

Song For Love
I lie awake with open eyes
My love just died
Im cold inside
Cant face the thought to be alone
All by myself on my own
Loves come and gone
I look around and see
The hearts that still are broken
I cant believe all of our hearts remain unopened
We cant go go on and on
Wit that same old song
So wipe off the frown
And turn around and face each other
Come on, come on
Lets sing a song
A song for you, a song for me, a song for love
All for one and one for all together
Singing a song for love
You and I are none without the other
Singing a song for love
You let the time pass by
Big boys dont cry
Believe that lie
A broken heart that never mends
Is this the end
Listen my friend
These walls of hate
That separate on from the other
Time to rebuild bridges of love
One to another
Come on, come on
Lets sing a song
A song for you, a song for me, a song for love
All for one and one for all together
Singing a song for love
You and I are none without the other
Singing a song for love

Listen
Listen be aware
Hear the sounds
What do you hear
The wind blowing
Birds singing
Plane flying overhead
Children playing
Dogs barking
Listen at what you hear
Music playing
Bee's buzzing
Train a coming
A prayer
A secret being told
Maybe a lie
A true confession
Screaming in the night
A soft cry
Someone pleading for help
Car going by
A heart beating
Softly in the night
A song in the air

The Stature of Truth
Watch them closely.
Your greater life depends on this.
See their bodies, watch their faces,
listen to their sound, which is
now the sound that we all own.
Now see your self, seeing them;
watch your self, watching them;
listen to your self, listening
to yourself. This is the moment
grace graces us. Our grace.
This shelf-stacker with
a battered face; this
village lady with a homely build;
this child, who, simply, sings
as if that could not be more natural:
see them; watch them; listen to the sound.
See them in profile: nobility
now shapes their face;
this is what heroes are,
heroes who await our call.
They have surrendered to their self;
was it we who called them?
Are there times when truth itself
is impatient of release; cannot wait
for us to earn that?
Perhaps just a few bars, as the song
begins to take them over,
sings, them; perhaps the climax of the song,
when all we can do is wildly clap,
applaud ourselves for what they’ve told us
that we always knew: we too, heroes,
heroines, waiting for the call
to be ourselves:
for a few bars, their stature
is beyond measure; remind yourself,
you saw it, watched them, listened:
listened to the sound which says
this, my sound, is the sound
that can do anything. anything:
now I make the world anew.
For a few bars, they tell us
this, this is who we are,
every one of us; this is
what talent’s given for; this,
what we were made for;
this is how great we are.
This is the sound of truth
singing the truth of truth itself;
this is what grace can do.
This is who we are.

Just Listen To My Song (from 'Meet the Moments')
When my heart is lonely and blue
And just wondering about you
When the world outside is all cold
And my dreams to nowhere are true
And to the dark they surely unfold
Just listen to my song of loneliness
Just listen to the song I'm singing
I'll be touching out for each caress
That my feelings and paths are bringing
Every world has its own to care for
Love is something to adjust and to be
We can never be of us assure
Because freedom is to learn and to see
It's all about free will to you and me
Just listen to my song to the open air
Just listen to the singing from my heart
I will try to reach out and be there
To make each open opportunities start
Just listen to my song of loneliness
Just listen to the song I'm singing
I'll be touching out for each caress
Which those believes and ways are bringing
Whenever you touch and bring out of trouble
Anything you stand for on your own
It shall raise each fortress from rubble
Make each struggle for freedom be known

The Magic of Sound
I’ve heard the soft whisper of wind in the pine trees,
The silvery ripple of brooklets at play;
I’ve heard the low voice of a sweet singing mother
As she sang to her child at the end of the day.
I’ve heard the faint rustle of sails in the sunset
And blue waves caressing the wild, rockbound shore;
The whistle of trains as they cross the green prairie
And mountains re-echo the cataract’s roar.
The notes of the organs in ancient cathedrals,
Where hearts of the faithful are lifted in song;
I’ve heard the gay laughter as children were playing,
The chatter and buzz of a large, happy throng.
The earth has its music for those who will listen;
Its bright variations forever abound.
With all of the wonders that God has bequeathed us,
There’s nothing that thrills like the magic of sound.

Soldier
Can't nobody stop me now
Cause i'm part of the army now
Praise the LORD is what I wanna shout
Even in a crowd i'm gonna sing it Loud
You can see what you want to see
But I know what he's done for me
Every day I can feel his power
'Cause the spirit of the Lord
He lifts me higher
All the world, can't stop, can't stop him
All the world, can't stop, can't stop him now
My God is the strongest tower
Turn to him in the scary hour
Even when it gets harder now
All I wanna do is just praise him louder
Keep singing 'til my voice run out
Keep running till he lifts me out
keep singing it cause I can't stop
Oh, I can't stop
You got the give yourself up
You got to lose your pride
You got to see it different
Open up your spiritual eyes
The devil wants you beaten
He wants you lying, cheating
But that won't last much longer
My dad is bigger, stronger
Sound off, 1, 2 Sound off 3, 4
Bring it on down, 1, 2, 3, 4... 1, 2....3, 4

Braving The British Weather
To brave the British weather, most birds don't have a choice,
But even in the worst weather, they raise such a spirited voice.
Cold and rainy weather can leave some of us feeling a little blue,
But, to me, it seems the little birds hold a different kind of view.
When, to us, the weather seems to go so very, horribly wrong,
The little birds continue to sing their sweet and happy song.
When a cloudless, blue sky still seems so very far from sight,
There is one song which will always ring out, so clear and bright.
When you find yourself walking along, upon rain-soaked ground,
From up in the trees, there will always come a heart-lifting sound.
A dull and dismal day can sometimes make us feel a little bit down:
Our hearts feel a little heavy, and our faces wear an unhappy frown.
Birdsong is a beautiful and pure, but powerful, Heaven-sent gift:
Upon hearing such a pleasant song, our hearts will begin to lift.
Even in wet weather, the little birds sing out with such pure joy:
Like the joy a child has, when hugging their favourite soft toy.
Even when we get wet through, our clothes will very soon dry,
So we should try to keep our chin up, and our spirits flying high.
Such joy is contained within the heart of a creature, so very small:
These tiny little birds really do set a shining example to us all.

Sing for the moment
The world progresses
Another person lost in the abyss of death
Another war raged
Lives ended in a second
Disasters strike
It unleashed its wrath on the earth
Thousands escaped its rage
Thousands did not
A sudden madman
A massacre happening in this world
Racism burns in the hearts of some
Killing…dying
Why does all this starts?
When will it ever end?
All these deaths
Haunting the world
But what can we do?
How can we stop all this?
How do we put an end to this suffering?
We need to sing for the moment!
Let the world be touched by our song!
Let the world listen to us!
Let all these killing stop!
All we need to do is to sing for the moment.
