Silence
silence...
wall whispering silence.
streets that dont speak,
faces mechanically moving.
hammers hung from belts,
books closed, coffee brewing.
the voices of need and passion,
silent statements in flesh.
god, or something more,
understanding beyond conception.
the hand extended,
and boots laced tight.
the flame of truth,
flickers, stays strong.
nothing more needs be said,
than to live...
unto!

about you
what shall i say about you?
ah, i prefer my
silence
this is my cure about
you
yes, my silence
it shall speak about
you my silence
my very own silence
to speak about your
long silence
now we are at peace
in our silence
both shall speak about
us yes our silence
our marital silence in
the silence of our bed
the root of all our
troubles freud say is in
the silence of our beds
two beds now
four meters apart
speaking in silence
the silence of the house
and the chairs
and the staircases
and the carpets and
the ticks and the
empty glasses or those
cold coffee and
frozen butter.

After Talking to a Friend
oblique statements...
with silent heart
do you talk to me
or perhaps you are not willing to speak
my Friend
do you hide
words of friendship
your wounded pride
fascination...
with song
poetry
color
human being
oblique statements
perhaps silence
mysteries
read with the heart
and only before God
opened
the world arranges in a beautiful way
show a particle of it
do not conceal it
God
thank you for this talk
silence
it is
and shall remain
beautiful

The Silence That Lives On
I'm sitting in the corner nowhere to run
Here comes the silence, there goes the fun
Trying to put the pieces back together
Knowing that the silence will live on forever
Trapped inside with my deepest fears
The silence is so strong voices are not clear
Hard to fight my way out of this place
Wanting to leave the silence without a trace
All the bad things go away and be gone
For I am left with the silence that lives on

Silence...
I wanted to talk,
but don't know what to say
Silence...
I got nervous,
and looked away.
Silence...
I read what you wrote,
but can't put my reaction into words
Silence...
My inability to speak,
sometimes it hurts
Silence...
I didn't want you
to misunderstand what I said
Silence...
So I kept quiet,
lest our faces turn red
Silence...

Monastery
Up the long flight of stairs
every tread echoes from stone walls
as if to comment on how stillness
tells of sound its silent origin.
In the quiet library, the central table
bears a careful written message:
‘Silence is spoken here’..
and that’s truer than
at first it seems to read;
round the walls, shelves of books
as silent as the monks
standing upright in their stalls
witness words that seek to share;
yet ultimately, wave fare well, turn back;
speak of silence sought and silence found;
yet cannot speak of silence;
in the name of silence, take a book,
well-worn, from off the shelf;
meet it in the silence of the room,
read a few words, and lay it down;
glance at the other readers round the room;
fall still.
Here, silence speaks of stillness;
stillness joys in silence.

In Silence
We talk in silence
We speak in exchanging breath
We argue in silence
We battle with our stare
We think in silence
We travel in our mind
We promise in silence
We create the secret better
We sing in silence
We smile in radiant melody
We enjoy in silence
We move with our body
We share in silence
We stay in each other arms
We love in silence
We grow the hope of warmth
We hate in silence
We shake in every fiber being
We pray in silence
We enchant the words in heart
We long in silence
We drown in loneliness
We break in silence
We flow soundless tears
We walk in silence
We tell our story in footprint
We listen in silence
We could hear numerous voices

Sweet Silence Speaks
At the brink of the midnight
When every mortal sleeps
When voices turn their faces
Then the sweet silence speaks
With the onset of the moonlight
Slowly deserting the streets
When the noises are duped
Then the sweet silence speaks
When the zephyrs are high
At the snow covered peaks
And the voices get numb
Then the sweet silence speaks
I desperately wait to meet her
Through days and all through the weeks
I really die to hear her voice
And then the sweet silence speaks
Through an edge of a dream
When my sweety slowly peaks
All of a sudden I wake up
When the sweet silence speaks

A Moment Of Silence
In the middle of my room
I sat to let my soul speak
As my ears listened keenly
Silence, do not speak
My eyes tightly closed
But still saw myself
Right in-front of me
No matter what I do
I can't forget myself
Silence.....
In silent darkness,
Where I could hear a pin drop
And see tears roll down your cheeks
My heart condemned me
For misjudging and hurting you
I tender my apology...Silence
I am not a superhuman
Let this stick in your mind
With my words I will be kind
Do this to every man
Silence....please take part
Human learn to consult
Everything in silence
So your mind is alert
What can lack of silence do?
It sent Jesus to the cross!
I judged an MP out of his words!
You talked nonsense!
This time I choose silence
Try to understand my decision
If you don't understand my silence
You won't understand my words
In my silence I achieved
Love that binds all
Kindness that the blind can see
Humility that a shames the proud
Wisdom that bothers a genius
Silence...

Silence In Battle
Shapeless shadows, in silence listening,
Deepest feelings in restraint,
A silent voice calls in mournful feeling,
We move in silence, voices faint.
Harmful silence touches the soul,
A larger loneliness laid untold,
So speak only when you must,
Infinite dread, a knife's deep thrust.
Darkness and silence lay so long,
Self control from dusk to dawn.
Awful darkness and silence reign,
Over the lifeless, barren, Iraqi plain.
Crouching down when nothing stirs,
Mysterious night, we temper her.
Rocklike hardness in our mind,
Tryant silence steals our time.
No echo sounding when I speak,
Body trembles, silence deep.
We shall remain thousands of miles away,
Uneasy silence, dreadful day.

Silence Is
Silence is sitting back in the recliner after a day
at work when the radio was too loud.
Silence is hearing the birds singing after hearing
neighbors bickering.
Silence is listening to beloved hymns after hearing
yourself complaining about things that cannot be changed.
Silence is reading the words of Rumi after reading news of
rape, murder and molestation.
When one is silent about another's wrongdoings, silence is
the sound of the devil shouting. So speak up, and he will
not be heard!
When one is silent in prayer and rest, silence is the sound
of God talking. So speak up, so He may be heard!
Yes, when God talks to you, let Him talk through you!
Be silent no longer!

Silence
I awake to silence and in silence I sleep
Silence to silent me, I silently weep
Away in silence for silence to hear
The sorrow in between both mine ear.
I think in silence, I mediate in peace
Thinking peacefully in silence I cease
All the sorrow that embosoms me
All the silence, that silence be
Whatever silence is, for silence tis
My beauty, my desire, my Adonis

Silence, ssst
Silence
Silence
Silently, ssst, ssssst, please, ssst
Silence
Silence is my guidance.
Through the jungle of lions.
The only way to survive.
My thoughts need hiding
Silence not a word.
Voices where they from?
silence say no more
Don’t open the door
Or the silence will leave us all.
Silence, silence
Silently they are gone.
Silence, I am alone.
Silence is born
Now I am truly torn
Silently I mourn
That I always was alone.

Your Silence
I have spoken long enough
I have spoken well enough
Now let me be silent
And see how Silence speaks
Hear the words unspoken
For you could never speak
And whenever I asked you
All I could ever hear, was:
Your Silence…
Yes, that very Silence of yours
Which sucked all my life out
making me feel miserable
day in and day out
Still I kept holding on,
hoping on and hanging on…
If you could ever speak
Yet you never spoke up
Instead, offered me a challenge
A challenge to a broken heart?
A challenge to a defeated soul?
Oh! How Ruthless you could be…
And still you ever want me
To keep hearing your silence
And make some meaning of it all
I told you long before
Silence never works for me
I am a woman of words…
It might work well for you
So be it, my love…
If that is what you call ‘friendship’
Let you be silent
And me be too
And we can still remain ‘friends’
For if you speak
And I speak too
Who knows, One day
We might become foes…
And I would rather die
A Friend of yours
Than choose to be a Foe.

Silence Is Not Enough
SILENCE IS NOT ENOUGH
Silence is not enough
The human needs words and sentences
Speech and meaning
Silence and waiting in silence
And loving silence so much
Are not enough
Even the longest silence is not enough
We need to speak to another person
We need human hearing
Living in the silence of our own lost selves is not enough
We need to be heard and be listened to
And to speak in a world where there are listeners
Who know how to reply.

Silence 1.
Most times when I'm hurt,
My silence speaks for me.
She speaks very loud;
Even louder than a megaphone.
I choose to be silent, -
When most things happen,
Not because I cannot speak;
Nor that my words have evaded me,
But because in my silence-
There's a challenging power.
Sometimes in my fears,
When my heart is filled with love,
And my eyes with tears;
I learn to love, just like a dove.
My mouth moves to speak,
But is suddenly cut short by silence,
Silence in love, silence in fear.
Silence in tears, silence in joy;
And when I'm in this mood,
My silence stands so tall-
Even taller than a giant;
She makes her way; -
Even more than spoken words.
Spoken words of loud emotions,
They meet my silence-
And they tremble in awe.
I could hear those words;
They say to themselves,
'How art silence so mighty? '.

Between Us Is This Ocean Of Fear
you are there,
i feel you, unknown,
i am faraway from you,
the distance is a number.
you zero upon me
i, who, speak to the wall
between us are oceans of fears
we are whales
making the sound of a song
saying: we are not alone
our voices blend
upon a horrible silence
we wait when the silence
blooms
when it perfects itself
upon a tomb.

Silence
Silent the whole lot in silent space
Who art Thou silent in silence
Yonder beyond yonder in silent spirits
Thou bang banged in silence
Silent Thou persona unseen, unknown in silence
Yet smelt in silent thoughts
Thou taste, Thou fragrance nonfigurative
Yet figurative in tentative five elements
Fundamental who, what, how, why, where, when, ..
A mysterious quantum in perptual unfound answer
Ceaselessly in ceaseless silence
Silent the whole lot in silent space
Who art Thou silent in silence

My emerald dreams
The rain falling down for whispering my silence
That silence breaking my emerald dreams.
And those clearview shields with rising bubbles and flutes of renaissance
The rain falling down onto our round stones, keeping our kisses,
Coming down onto petals....
Those petals more than yellow sun...
Those petals of the sweet lemon flower,
Blooming as doves that fly in clouds...
And those birds searching their freedom in the unlimited horizon...
Your eyes water, thinking of me
Allowing the door to be left open
While allowing viewing through the window from the inside....
Feeling the sun growing cooler,
Understanding your passion of flame.....
Trying to milk it - drink from it-deeply
Trying to feel its flow
Between your lips and my hair...
Moving the middle to the top,
self- fashioning moving to the bottom as well...
Feeling the blazing hot sun
And the light
As it waits within
And at the end the avid breath
Draining this light inside each other
Like the moon shining inside of the sun....
Hands passing of time
With your smile...
With dedication...
Is It Poetry? Yes, it is......

Magnitude Of Silence
Why so quite
Cat gotcha tongue
Being silent isn't going to rectify the situation
In pain everyday
Accepting less than the full worth
Speak up
Come on now
SPEAK UP
In your own home
Violence reign
And silence hold fast
It has weaken the foundation of the relation
And yet no voice
In the streets
The ying yang
The bling bling
Talk loud and proud
Making one desire the flash and achievement
Some make it the right way
Others
Come full force with demise in view if anyone
Stands in their way…
Where is the power coming from
To be so bold
The stick em up kids
Hide behind the armor of destruction
Just to satisfy their lazy inclinations
Threats of death if silence is broken about their
Unskilled vocation
Come on now
Someone has to speak up
Getting tired of doing without
Bedroom satisfaction becomes compromised when
One has a displeasing performance
So instead of
Speaking out…rectify…show and tell by practice
Silence once again stands strong
Constantly giving false praise for disappointing deed
Causing agitation and ill hearted contemplation…
There it begins
Silence of infidelity
Silence of deceit
Pretty soon silence will be broken and all will
Witness the judgment of the irreparable damage in what
The Magnitude of Silence has caused.
Where is the truth....
The truth is sometimes obscured by clouds....
Lies masquerade as truth....
See the devil's smile....
Who is there to capture...
The tears of an innocent child....
Innocence is lost....
As their world is turned upside down...
Who protects a child....
When closed minds and closed hearts reign....
Unmentionable travesties go unseen....
In the closed hands of dark intentions...
Evil deeds caught in suspension....
The weight of silence burdens my soul....
Only God can decipher the mysteries untold...
Keeping a secret
Can water hold in your vessel
Sitting back watching how other
Convey their ways
Will a comment spill from the lips
Will silence consume blocking the verbiage
Health can become cumbersome
Keeping quiet about the condition
Help is needed… too strong to ask
Silence sews up the avenue of concern
No one is able to drive in
Personal hidden passages in life
Only you know
Will silence posse and walk the grave with you
Sacrificing freedom for another
Harboring a life just to risk your life
Can you
Will you
Preserve the silence
In my times of trouble I have kept quiet....
In the hush of silence I have found peace....
When the beast of lies tried to take my heart...
The security of silence my only defense....
You think you want to know me...
But I'm a fearful of what you might think...
The things I have seen and heard....
You might not like what you see....
So I will keep quiet.....
And safe within my own self....
Because to let anyone in my world...
Subjects me to pain...
And leaves me vulnerable with no gain....
All that is sweet is not sugar....
To be pressed through the ringer...
Dismembered and reconstructed....
I am rising... but still reluctant...
To tell my story...
But in due time.....
The quiet of past pain...
Will be revealed...
Until that day...
I am protected by the silent shield...
The magnificence of silence is a double edge sword...
It can convict or rewards....
But all that has been done in the mystery of darkness....
God knows it all...
And in him silence dissipates and fall
How many ways can silence control the aspects of life
When is the right time to speak
When is the right time to hold silence close
There is a Magnitude of negativity of retaining
Silence
Witness the Magnitude of positivity of maintaining
Silence

Sounds of Silence
Nature’s greatest gifts attacked by disquieted nations,
Leaving nothing in place but mechanical reverberations.
Melodies of the woods serenading shooting stars
Surrender to hammers pounding and boisterous cars.
Silence, soothing silence, you have spoken a world to me.
A partner with whisperings always meant to set me free.
Now a threatened companion once always at my side;
When juxtaposed with greed I often ignored your guide.
Silence, I beseech you, use tones soft, but clear
So no matter where I am, I’ll know you can be near.
At times when myriad noises distract or voices demur,
Hypnotize me into your world where all thought is pure.
Silence oh silence; I need you more each and every day.
Clear my mind; destroy that grind with your gentle way.
Silence my silence; I promise to hear your every word.
Give me peace and help me cease to value the absurd.
