Sameness
red. brown,
black, white...
sameness...
same thoughts,
same desires,
same needs,
same wants,
same fears,
same goodness,
same badness,
same trying,
same mistakes,
same rights,
same lonliness,
same freedom,
same hopes...
sameness!

With a Doing of Their Best to Escape Fate
Evolving.
Evolution.
A change from that,
Which does not remain the same.
An arrangement of sorts,
Has been ordained.
And although everything is involved,
That which is evolving...
There is a desire by many,
To keep revolved this reality.
As if to spin on a cyclical wheel.
To keep a sameness unchanged.
A sameness for some that has appeal.
A sameness for those they wish kept real.
There are those believing,
They have been chosen...
To be the exceptions to the laws,
That only NATURE rules.
As if Nature can be convinced...
Tricked and fooled,
By those choosing not to participate.
With a doing of their best to escape fate.
In a contemplation that would make,
Nature...
Their bait!

Coexist!
'when i inhale, you exhale....' Morrigna.
pretty much nails it!
what does it mean to coexist?
day would have nowhere to go,
if night didnt come.
one needs the other to identify itself.
one is not the other, but one is dependent
upon the other.
the garden you plant needs both sunshine,
and rain... sunshine and rain are seperate forces,
yet one cannot be without the other.
and the garden wont grow without both.
we are ebb and flow, coming and going.
as diverse beings with diverse beliefs,
yet human beings needing each other.
we are not all night, we are not all day.
but we each are worthy of respect.
if we would turn the page, and walk away from indifference,
then we begin as seeing each other for what we are,
without a need to convert to our way of thinking,
without a need to change that person to be like us!
the hand needs the foot, the foot needs the mind.
it is in our difference that we find sameness.
and it is in our sameness that we find common need.
whether you're black or white, Asian or Hispanic...
whether you're Christian or Muslim,
Buddhist or Hindu....
whether you're straight or gay, male or female...
whatever your politics, whatever your thoughts...
you are a human being, as am i!
we must maintain our dignity, respect,
and a strong sense of equality...
coexist is a verb...
working, living, sharing, breathing...
together!

Spiritual Rape
cultural genocide....
white people, white God,
stripping Native Americans
of the basic rights to be....
who they were, who they are!
with violent force stripping
culture, language, faith, and
way of life.... baptizing,
into colorless sameness....
call it being civilized!
call it salvation!
call it progress! ....
call it spiritual rape!

Sameness They Only Embrace
The wealthiest person in the place far from financial renown
And the poorest one is very poor in the poor Country Town
Where everyone knows everyone your business not your own
And even family secrets by everyone else known.
This not a Town for migrants not many migrants live here
The locals do not embrace difference that's how it does appear
But of course there are exceptions though their type in the minority
Who speak out for the fair go in a place of cultural poverty.
Not a place of great commerce and few evolved thinkers live here
In the pubs they talk of work and football between spells of guzzling beer
They feel happy in their sameness it is difference they do fear
Though quite knowledgeable in football and their football heroes they revere.
A small rural Town in the country a few hours drive from anywhere
A place of a small population where many things in common they do share
The people with a fondness for sameness and sameness they only embrace
And if to them you have different interests amongst them you feel out of place.

Ode To The 'x' World....
in his life
one moment
he saw two colors of same light
mixing
in the darkness of
his room
there is joy
in the fusion of that sameness
in tones and
depth
no one is watching it with
delight
except him
perhaps it is that sameness within him
that puts the
understanding of
extreme bliss
the rest of the shadows there
left
and outside the room
he hears the sound of
vomit
there is indeed a big difference
a wide gap
a chasm
that is what they only see
and they conclude
there is no love in that chasm
but only use
and disuse
there is nothing gentle in there
but force
with so much begging for more
understanding
that one may simply have to close
two eyes and feel
and forget and be lost in another
world
where no one seems to survive
there is this prison where one wants to
stay forever
because outside its walls
what can exist is only discrimination

Clip Your Wings, Baby
In the darkest depths far below,
The furnace may incinerate
Sin's vice and folly apropos
Before evil may saturate.
With no way to absquatulate
From what Death's disposition brings,
One must rely on their damned fate
And clip their feathery, white wings.
The mocking voice, Contrapasso,
Cuts sharply, harshly—biserrate—
Into the transgressions I know:
What bad intention does create.
My insult will annihilate
In sameness what the black heart sings.
The self must incapacitate
And clip its feathery, white wings.

Thoughts-6
dignity begins with taking responsibility...
freedom begins with respect!
equality is the recognition of sameness.
truth is what's left in the mirror
after everyone else leaves...
and poverty is the lash of corporate America!

I Am.... (Namaste)
i heard your soul whimper
from across the miles,
in the dead of night,
when you thought no one cared.
i saw the light in your eyes,
when you fed the hungry child,
and brushed the dirt from his face
with hands that trembled.
i felt the tears,
that you couldnt cry...
as you buried your only son,
killed in their wars.
i smelled the fear in your body,
but tasted the grit and determination,
as they beat you to the street
for protesting their greed.
i shook with the cold lonliness
of your tiny cell,
where they left you
with no identity or hope...
your freedom taken
for standing up for freedom,
your human rights taken
for defending human rights.
i am the song,
and the hymn of you.
i bathe in your light,
i drink your darkness.
i taste the colors of your skin,
and they all taste the same.
i feel your fears,
your desires, and your dreams.
i am the farmer, the mill worker,
i stand in your factory lines.
i am the activist, the doubter,
the good and the evil.
i feel the blows you've taken,
i can name your scars.
i've slept with your failures,
and buried your mistakes.
i am the love of your hidden names,
i walk by your sides,
know your steps and your sweat.
i am the good things you've done,
and yes, even the bad!
i am the triumph, and i am the loss.
i am the breath of god,
that fills your bodies....
you are the flesh and bones
and the feet of my dreams!
i am the sacred, the magnificent,
the simple, and the mundane...
all living within
every moment you live!
i am the song,
and the hymn of you.
i am the work
that only you can do.
i am the dance, the drive,
the passion, and the chance...
you are the words
that only god can express!
namaste!

The Wild Horses And The Snow
last night the horses were there again
black, brown, white, gray horses, spotted ones
on their furious breaths they ran wildly on the
white snow
white as the fleece of a lamb
the feathers of the parakeet
the hair of the albino hamster
they are making the sounds of freedom
exploring the distance of distances
roaming the earth
and the mountains and the plains
all in my head.
subconscious desires waiting for the Freudian
explanations.
as usual.

Painted Dreams...
As sleep envelopes the mind, dreams commence,
The artist within paints the landscape of my dream.
A fantasy land of lush green grass and fresh summer blooms,
My spirit warmed by the golden rays of sunlight.
It is neither night nor day, but a timeless twilight,
A time that exists between the waking and the sleeping world.
My lifes story unfolds upon this canvas of painted dreams,
My hopes and fears, my lonliness, my dreams and all my desires.
All I have ever been, all that I could ever be,
A timeless portrate of a dreamers deepest desires...
Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Morning Thoughts
a true education
reveals the sameness
in the human condition.
a free society
allows the individual
to be individual.
a real community
is as responsible
for the least as for
the most...
the concept of freedom
becomes a reality
when based in mutual respect.
equality demands
equal effort!
how hard is this
for us to understand?

In other words, I would be giving in to a myth of sameness which I think can destroy us.

Mouth And Heart!
thoughts unbound,
evolving, taking form,
becoming formless....
permeated by rust and fire.
yes, flesh rusts!
hangs like a doorknob,
waiting for the key!
identity becomes sameness,
diverse, and yet joined....
you and i are mouth and heart,
searching for the plate!
footprints, and returning,
we tug at the latch,
or merely the wind!

Times Like These
At times like these who can say
This is right or that's the way?
Black seems white or is white gray?
And right was wrong the other day.
Once in vogue, it holds no sway.
To march, to march, but not to pray.
Rights are sought, but who will pay
The cost of duties they portray?
Fears and fights and friction may
Obscure our goals and cause delay.
Yet we must work and hold at bay
Forces of evil which will betray
Self and country when they bray
That rights and wrongs are both okay.

Black and White (Stream XV)
I have black thoughts,
It is a black day,
A day when the black dog
Coal black, hovers at my shoulder.
I shoulder the burden.
Deep in the black hole.
Black as a black hearted night.
Negative.
Stark.
Black and white.
I do not call my good days white days.
Why?
Or have white thoughts
On a white day,
When the white dog
Pure white sits upon my shoulder.
Which is unburdened.
Out of the pit,
Luxuriating in the bright white light;
White as the purest snow.
Positive.
For we live in a too white world
Maybe we should have grey days,
And light days.
Why should Black be negative and White poitive?
For me then, today is a grey day.
Maybe tomorrow will be a light day.

In Spaces Limited
So many are stuck in times,
Within locked minds fearing change.
Or the process that takes them...
Away to new places.
And experiences unexplained.
In spaces limited a rotation continues.
A rotation accepted with the sameness of it!
Like a rusting with dust given permission to oxidize...
Bright eyes dull,
Minimizing active lives.
Although a freedom is there to breathe and do it deeply...
Many prefer their familiar ruts.
With others who have given up.
To share and say what they would do...
If God would bless them with a stroke of good luck.
In spaces limited a rotation continues.
A rotation accepted with the sameness of it!
So many are stuck in times,
Within locked minds fearing change.
Or the process that takes them...
Away to new places.
