Rigpa
rigpa...
universe unfolding,
each breath released....
not clinging,
nor grasping, no tiny deaths!
letting go of...
creating by returning,
life seamless,
not confined to flesh and bone!

Started a New Play
My Scorpio colleague jumps into the day
with ice-cold precision and complete lack
of existential angst, no other emotion than
irritation apparent, the beautiful easygoing
Libran saunters gracefully through wide
scope projects that scares the little alien
clinging to the rafters in my head to death
Today the little alien is into Freudian self-
destruction and sabotages everything I do,
Agony Aunt within me gave up in disgust,
my inner Alice has withdrawn and only a
shell is left – luckily my characters have
started a new play and the story unfolding
makes a wonderful day, thank you
Thank you to everyone who consented to
appear in my life to become archetypes
populating my fictional universe, it is so
wonderful when I meet you here, creating
the perfect ambiance for the unfolding of
a most wonderful dream without my
having to go anywhere!
[Seeing me so destitute my fictional characters
started a new play and the sweetness obliterates
the world and its problems so that Agony Aunt –
grim-faced and tight-lipped – is left carrying the
consciousness while inside such a magnificent
emotional unfolding is creating the most perfect
delicate tracery of sublime emotion ]

A Star Burst
As a star
burst,
throwing
off
many
tiny
sparkles.
We make
our
entrance
into
this
universe.
Each
seeking
the
doorway.
Are we
so
different?
I don't
think so.
Coming
from
the same
beginning.
Returning
to the
same
end.
Together
once
mo re.
Creating
the most
illuminating
star in
the
heavens
Far beyond
our
comprehension.

Normal
Pain is in proportion to livingness.
The more alive you are,
the more it hurts
to live.
This is normal.
The young hurt most
but mend quickest.
New flesh heals
where old flesh withers.
Young mind feels
pain piercing and deep;
often so deep that of itself it heals;
a child that cries itself to sleep,
cries and forgets in eternal singing.
This too is normal.
Until clinging
enters the heart,
laying up the treasure
of its tears
to be disinterred in later years,
repented at unwanted leisure.
And this is normal.
The prophet said:
“I will give you life more abundant.”
His shadow added:
“And more abundant pain to go with it.”
Quite normal.
Amidst so much normality
the pain is what shines through,
making a mere formality
of what you think you want to do.
Grasping out and feeling pain.
Letting go and letting heal again.
See where the yellow banner is unfurled:
“All is for the Norm
in this most normal of all possible worlds.”

Being Born!
continually being born...
...a thousand tiny deaths,
.....a thousand tiny births.
season to season,
....leaf to limb to bud,
.....conceptions to grasp,
to letting go of....
..snow like stillness,
....bringing new birth!

The Art Of Rejection
There is an Art to 'rejection'
First they 'hook you in'
With tales of love and words of 'I love you'
The sugary sweet pill of flattery
Of making coral shine from broken shells
Knowing all to well
Such fragile beauty
Could not bear the lightening breakers
Mountain storms
Until tempest tossed
You lie on stony shores
Bone on bone
salt ravished flesh
Your dry lung cannot breath without the 'other'
There is an 'Art to rejection'
First they hook you in
with soft bait
And looks that catches your approval
Knowing your fragile beauty
Cannot withstand
The windswept mouth of deserts
The hundred clasping hands and tiny mouths
That drink you dry
Until
Bone on bone you lie

Avoiding A Rejection
take a part of your
pelvic bone
close your eyes
let someone take
the flesh
and bone to bone
of your own bone
let it grow
smoothly
to get rid of the pain
and start anew
bone to bone
of my contention
following yours
nothing
opposing
blood following
the flow

The Bone Of The House
in the house
he is a bone,
not a flesh on
the side
dogs outside are
waiting
he is not the
kind of bone
that any dog
wants,
the useless bone
in the kitchen
mere shadow of
the soup-stock
left-over of the flesh
inside the garbage can.

Tiny Deaths
you rip the clouds
from the sky itself....
head swaying side to side,
eyes lost in the museum
of feelings too long denied.
babbling odes to the gods,
breathing breath stolen
from a primeval forest....
naming the color
beneath shadows,
your fingers buried
in my hair!
tiny deaths....
postcards written in flesh!

Truly
Truly i am your bone and your flesh!
And like the muse of the sons born to King David in Hebron;
But, the bridle of the bondage is always seen around us.
Truly i am your bone and your flesh!
But the swords of life are here today to slay one and another;
For, hatred is now the way of the people.

Time Leak
For centuries
we have lain like this,
our warmths intermingled,
our hearts beating
the same two-step,
& our breaths
& our limbs
intertwined.
Life after life,
I return to flesh
to join my flesh
to your flesh.
Sometimes I am the woman
& you the man;
sometimes,
the other way around.
It hardly matters.
Flesh after flesh,
our spirits return
to mingle.
Death is no barrier
& life's noisy matinee
where the suburban ladies
cough & sputter
& their programs crackle like kindling
merely goes on & on.
They sit on their deaths
as if they were sitting
on fur coats,
while we touch
for the first time
remembering
the next.

…… Must Unbelieve
No more the sun was hot.
October shadows were clinging to hills.
I was ready
to speak, to negate and to kindle the dust.
The issues were floating in the wind
like bleached skin of the dying man.
You could look through it and beyond.
Do you think the ageless will die?
The impotent rage will speak for the street?
I wanted to negate the remains of pedagogy,
the shoddy make-up of the lies,
and the men, in ugly immorality-
cutting the truth to the bone
with roars of laughter,
bidding for the flesh of carved saints.
The faithful must unbelieve
in the history of the star,
who could not reach the earth.
Time was creating fear.

Chicken On A Bone
Follow the river wallow in silver
Voices draw nearer counting out the days wish
Letting it out letting it out I'm letting it out
See it so near it seemed so far
Its when you hear its where you are
See it so clear
Making my head spin
Watching the world sing
Holding me under
Try and get a hold son
Letting it out letting it out I'm letting it out
See it so near it seemed so far
Its when you hear its where you are
See it so clear
Pale and wanton dreams forgotten
No use crying I feel like chicken on a bone
See it so near it seemed so far
Its when you hear its where you are
See it so clear
I've got to get a grip

The Death Papers.... (Part One)
perhaps, we then
are but a series of deaths,
tiny deaths, unclaimed sparks...
or one long death
in illiterate stages,
flesh scarred memories failing,
deeper and deeper in the grain,
the stink of rot, and becoming!
broken wings and stolen kisses,
lips scorched and fingers broken,
beyond names and naming,
beyond words and thinking...
till nothing is left,
but raw sound,
and the veins of the decayed leaf,
shouting silence, and redemption!

We released 400,000 classified documents, the most extraordinary history of a war to ever have been released in our civilization. Those documents cover 109,000 deaths. That is serious matter.

You are a child of the Universe, no less than the moon and the stars you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the Universe is unfolding as it should.

Satan Is Overrated
Earth is a looking glass that allows the Universe to see itself.
Satan has convinced you that higher realms are better than Earth. He does not tell you that boredom is your only sin and death merely your last breath.
Revel in the little deaths of your ecstasies for all life spawns from death.
Heed not his serpentine tongue…

Alone With Everybody
the flesh covers the bone
and they put a mind
in there and
sometimes a soul,
and the women break
vases against the walls
and the men drink too
much
and nobody finds the
one
but keep
looking
crawling in and out
of beds.
flesh covers
the bone and the
flesh searches
for more than
flesh.
there's no chance
at all:
we are all trapped
by a singular
fate.
nobody ever finds
the one.
the city dumps fill
the junkyards fill
the madhouses fill
the hospitals fill
the graveyards fill
nothing else
fills.

In the Letting Go
In the letting go,
A freedom unknown
Becomes as welcomed
As fresh falling snow...
On Pine trees green.
In the letting go,
A release becomes sacred
To experience,
As an unpolluted breeze...
To breathe a feeding done easily.
In the letting go,
One knows a life has arrived to be explored.
In the letting go...
An unexpected flow,
Connects.
To all.
And all that is there to be shared,
Comes.
To the one letting go to let life be as it is,
To live as wished!
Without restricted limits inflicted.
In the letting go,
So much that isn't within reach...
Instantly becomes available to touch.
In the letting go,
There is such a thing called living.
