Redemption, Revival, Or Epitaphs
rain swept morning...
and all the sins of yesterday
roll down the face of humanity.
redemption, or revival?
the hand finds the heart,
the eyes see the soul,
fear washes away unnamed.
cities built of shadows,
great smokestacks, vacant shrines.
and it's always the voices,
and the faces, struggling,
to be heard and seen!
man imprisoned himself by nations,
sold too cheaply on the block.
murders his mother beneath the wheels,
never hearing her cry.
sacrificing the children
to feed the inner beast.
now we stand naked in the rain...
redemption, revival, or epitaphs,
left by the children's graves!

Redemption Song
Old pirates yes they rob i
Sold I to the merchant ships
Minutes after they took i
From the bottomless pit
But my hand was made strong
By the hand of the almighty
We forward in this generation
Triumphantly
Wont you help to sing
These songs of freedom
Cause all I ever had
Redemption songs
Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery
None but ourselves can free our minds
Have no fear for atomic energy
Cause none of them are gonna stop the time
How long must they kill our prophets
While we stand aside and look
Some say its just a part of it
Weve got to fulfill the book
Wont you help to sing

Love Revival
Now I know what you need
And you know what I need
The whole dang block knows
This whole house needs a love revival
Love revival up in here
Now I know I'm preachin'
Cause I'm certainly not leavin'
But it's time to get excited
And the neighbors aren't invited
To this love revival
Love revival up in here
So sit up boy and listen
Cause I'm tired of bein' nice
Now Mama's gonna tell you
What she needs tonight
Revival, revival
Well give me somethin' soulful
Honey all I need are your two arms around me again
So if you're in this till the end
Then Let the love revival begin
I feel the spirit
The spirit's movin'
I feel the spirit movin'
So I pray you won't deny me
And now that I've said my piece
And I'll say it again, son
Just in case you were asleep
I want a love revival
Love revival up in here
Cause I know what you need
And you know what I need
The whole dang block knows
This whole house needs a love revival
Love revival up in here
So sit up boy and listen
Cause I'm tired of bein' nice
Now Mama's gonna tell you
What she needs tonight
Revival, revival
Well give me somethin' soulful
Honey all I need are your two arms around me again
So if you're in this till the end

I feel the spirit
The spirit's movin'

Honey all I need are your two arms around me again
So if you're in this till the end
Then Let the love revival begin

Lightning Strike
The lighting brings back memories.
The thunder shows my anger.
As the rain washes it away.
the birds fly by, I see my dreams.
As they go home. they're stolen from me.
As the rain washes it away.
The pedal filled with rain drops, I know I'm hurt.
As the rain drops roll off, they're like my tears.
As the rain washes it away.
The clouds are like my soul.
They hide the sun, like I hide my feelings.
As the rain washes it away.
As I sit on my porch,
Watching the rain wash things away.
I see that the storms a lot like me.

Loves revival
Loves revival
~
A thought, a feeling almost forgot
A place in time considered lost
Loves revival began in another’s eye
A look to the soul found warmth
Raised from solitary such beauty
Thawed the winter from within
To fill a world with sweet joy
It was a look that found a heart
It was the eyes which saw the soul
And there they saw what could be
A smile and words exchanged
A thought a feeling shared in time
Loves revival began in another’s eye
That it should not be lost again
Nor forgotten or left aside
One eye shall look to another
In love with a soul to warm a life

Goddess Revival
I wake up in the garden
A wind across my hair
The bloom of jasmine and the
Night sky satin
Softly she is there
The trail of light she leaves
Like sand in an hourglass
I listen to her voice at last
I am your past
Goddess revival
Ill be your path
One of her disciples
Please take my task
Goddess revival...
It was dark and so quiet
Venus led psyche to the rosey dawn
Shes only beginning to fight like shes winning
Through seasons, years, and eras, she carries on
I walk the way she walks
Leaving trails of golden light
I listen to her voice tonight
I am your past
Goddess revival
Ill be your friend
One of her disciples
Please take my hand
Godess revival...
Now I can see the light
Youve got to learn from me
Youve got a lot to learn
Goddess...
I am your past
Goddess revival
Ill be your friend
One of her disciples
Please take my hand
Goddess revival...
I am goddess revival
One of her disciples
Take me to the land
Ill show you what I am

ii. A traversal of the great rain maker
The children of men have come to me,
They say to me
'Give us our word for the rain,
And so to the rain.'
The rain maker stands, betwixt
The faces of men and their retinue of wealth,
And the liberty at the heart of the rain.
But the great man of thought…
'-The rain sleeps, when it wills
Let it be, lest
Its restlessness grows
Mightier than my chest -
'-Let men mourn with the rain,
As does the rain…'
God’s Revival
Some may focus on survival, when what we need is true revival,
Revival of the spiritual kind, which moves in the heart and mind.
Revival may be man’s desire, but comes from one much higher,
The revival that I’m speaking of, comes through the Lord above.
Before revival can have a start, we must first prepare our heart,
Just like a farmer prepares a field, so that a new crop will yield,
Preparing our heart to be right, as broken for God and contrite,
So God can have His way in us, in the likeness of Christ Jesus.
Humility is that place to start, as believers seek to do their part,
As we yield our heart to Him, for God to change us from within.
Next we take this need and care, to a Sovereign Lord in prayer,
Who alone moves hearts of men, like nothing else on earth can.
Then as we seek God’s face, He sends upon His people Grace,
Along with His Spirit, to do His will, as God’s purpose we fulfill.
And friend, with all this in mind, we must leave old ways behind,
Turning away from all evil ways, as we seek to give God praise.
Praise not from things men do, but, how God uses me and you,
As we turn away from our sin, and His Revival, God does begin,
With His purpose and in His time, not by man’s religious design,
Using this present generation, to share His Gospel of Salvation.

Raining Shoes
coming
from
an advance
on raining
cats
on raining
dogs
to raining
shoes
really
reality
check
is not
my thing
right?
let it
rain
manna
from
heaven
to feed
children
starving
to feed
parents
children
dying
now
today
of
poverty
starvation
indifference
empires
oil wars
let it
rain
clothes
shoes
to clothe
naked bodies
skeletal bones
suffering souls
let it
rain

In The Puddles
Rain bashing, rain crashing,
In the puddles, children splashing,
Mother's tongue has started lashing,
Everyone is wet!
Rain slopping, rain stopping,
In the puddles, children hopping,
Mother's hands have started mopping,
Everyone, I bet!
Sun waking, sun breaking,
In the puddles, children quaking,
Mother's arms have started shaking,
Everyone, she'll net!
Sun applying, sun drying,
In the puddles, children crying,
Mother's breath is now a sighing,
Everyone's upset!
Sun gleaming, sun scheming,
In the puddles, children steaming!
Mother's smile, now is beaming,
Everyone's her pet!

In The End!
madness, churning, burning,
turning on a spit....
they feed the fire with the bodies,
drink the blood of the expendables.
life bruised, pulsing, throbbing,
all stand naked in the end!
and only the flesh that stinks with being,
finds the path of true holiness!
the street vendors, and the charlatans....
laugh to hide from the sound,
of the tiny beat of a single heart,
a universe inside itself!
in the end the crows will eat the flesh,
of those that bought and sold;
who traded souls for power,
and were consumed by their own hunger!
and the guns will lay silent on the ground,
tombstones for empty graves....
the wind will moan with children's voices...
for man hath judged himself!

Revival
Well I passed you by this morning
You were stumblin down the street
And by the look upon your face
I could tell you wasnt
Feeling too sweet -
You dropped down to the bottom -
Thats what you
Gone and did -
Livin in a bad dream
Finally flipped your lid
Well - superman Ive got
News for you
And every body else
Thats listenin too
Theres a new way out
If yer ready to hear
Were gonna make it clear
What we need is revival!
Revival.
Look at that girl
Shes the saddest thing
Youve ever seen -
Washed up and faded
Like a dirty old pair of jeans
Shes running round in circles
But she dont have a single friend -
Looks like her own bitterness
Has twisted her till the end
Well - mona lisa look me in the eye
And tell me when
Youre gonna get satisfied
Im gonna spell it out
Right in front of you
This is what you have to do -
Get ready for revival!
Revival...
R.e.v.i.v.a.l.
Its gonna lift you
Right up
From your prison cell
Play it out loud
Like a ringing bell
You go
R.e.v.i.v.a.l.

My Soul Confesses...
my soul confesses
to the vast night swallowing
the last remnants of day,
to the unborn child,
unwanted, unnamed!
to the empty grave,
and the dirt praying
for the casket.
to the lover betrayed
by the fear to touch.
to the soul wrapped in cobwebs,
and the heart's body
afraid to be naked.
to the unfulfilled,
the unspoken, and unclaimed.
to the bastard son
of the demon and the mortal.
to the holy infidel,
who tore off his collar.
to the unspoken prayer
of the farmer looking for rain.
to the cell and the gallows,
and the righteous fire.
to the truth written
in the hidden parts of the soul,
to the pilgrim who turned
from salvation to compassion.
and again to the night,
the long night of redemption.
without a trace of regret,
without holding back!

Rain On Me O' Rain Rain Rain
o' rain rain rain
come rain on me o' rain
rain on every plant that grow o' dear rain
rain on every resource o' dear rain
rain to green the plants
the plants that of nature's decor
rain on us and never let go
quench my thirst; to get so
rain on me o' rain rain rain
rain for happiness and leisure
rain for our children to play
rain on the soil for us this day
so, we plant more food to feed us this way
go to the fields and gardens; same way
rain o' beautiful rain
rain rain rain

The Children
Be not afraid at all, be not afraid to know
And ride the wings of change, to a better time
Come take the hand of hope, and learn the ways of man
For youre the path that leads to the other side
The skin upon our faces has melt the ice of ages
Now our destiny is yours
Chorus:
Children lift up your eyes to the heavens
Send your vision out beyond
Children take up the torch and we will follow
Youre the light of the world
Hear echoes in the dark from voices of the heart
You teach the song of life we take for granted
Weve given you the key, so youll unlock the door
Were looking through your eyes to another day
You bring a change of season, something to believe in
Now our destiny is yours
Children lift up your eyes to the heavens
Send your vision out beyond
Children take up the torch and we will follow
Bring some light into this world
Be not afraid at all, be not afraid to show
Your voices will be heard, wish I learned
We shelter from the storm, we cant make it on our own
So lift our spirit to the other side
Children lead us away from the sorrow
Youre the arrows from the bow
Another kingdom awaits your arrival
Giving freedom to the soul
Let the children follow, let the children see
All the children walk to the other side
Let the children follow, let the children see
All the children walk to the other side
Let the children follow, let the children see
All the children walk to the other side
Let the children follow, let the children see
All the children walk to the other side
Let the children follow, let the children see

Starving Nations
Blessed with abundance of land
I simply cannot undertstand
the uniform sufferring
calling on global humanity
Struggling nations
without a decent education
Multipying populations
being forced out of their cities
by war and invasion
Starving Children
Parents cradling them in distress
The land is barren
from wars and famine
which are countless
There is simply no easy way
out of this mess
Starving nations
Third world nations
Years of little or no rain
have put a huge strain
on the government
Relief agencies
leading the way for a good cause
Yet there are those of us
who can afford to give a toss

The Rain
I.
The rain! the rain! the rain!
It gushed from the skies and streamed
Like awful tears; and the sick man thought
How pitiful it seemed!
And he turned his face away,
And stared at the wall again,
His hopes nigh dead and his heart worn out.
O the rain! the rain! the rain!
II.
The rain! the rain! the rain!
And the broad stream brimmed the shores;
And ever the river crept over the reeds
And the roots of the sycamores:
A corpse swirled by in a drift
Where the boat had snapt its chain--
And a hoarse-voiced mother shrieked and raved.
O the rain! the rain! the rain!
III.
The rain! the rain! the rain!--
Pouring, with never a pause,
Over the fields and the green byways--
How beautiful it was!
And the new-made man and wife
Stood at the window-pane
Like two glad children kept from school.--
O the rain! the rain! the rain!

Long Live America!
you stole their lands
with whiskey and Bibles,
buried their desecrated women
in open graves.
shouted, 'long live Bush,
and weapons of mass destruction'.
grovelling in brick houses,
with chevrolet drives.
sent your sons to executions,
sold your daughters on the block.
and prayed at night for white redemption,
beneath the flag that bore your name.
long live America,
close the borders, patrol the skies.
eating day old bread in empty rooms,
shuddering at the sound of shadows!

Rain Water
Morning of 21st, I am 34.
The rain outside my window drizzles a rhythm of February dawn.
Rain water flows from the early morning sane—
Rain water washes the yesterday’s pain.
Rain water and I have loved you dear—
Rain water and you come close to me near.
Rain water taps my fingertips, and I love you more than yearning—
Rain water runs deeper into our skins of longing.
Morning of 21st, I am happier.
The rain won’t stop until I melt as a better person.
