Weeps With Prayer

burning...
branches longing for fire,
that once reached for the sky.
aching, hungry,
sharp edges on the glass.
rhythm, beat,
and nightfall,
ready for the taste.
tongue electric,
searching,
every crevice of the cave.
wings dusted,
flap with the anger,
too long in the cage.
fangs beared, heavy breathing,
images bent by brandy.
smoke, and wildness,
who left the door unlocked?

hair thrown across your face,

I Pray For Darkness...

i pray for darkness...
wrapping splintered lights
in perfected stillness...

stillness that heals
without questioning
why or who!

stillness that sings,
with every pulse of blood
through bodies worn...

stillness that redeems,
bringing the searcher
to his final destination...

stillness that removes,
the cross, , the crown of thorns,
lays down the shield of honor...

stillness that fills,
the empty cup, the box forgotten,

Gasping For Light

i built a fire in the yard.
slowly walked back into the house.
gathering everything of value.
my books, my clothes, my boots,
old photographs, letters, pictures,
everything i've ever written.
every memory.

took them outside,
and fed them to the fire!
and walked off barefoot
into the night.

lover, dance with me!
we call unto each other
from distances, through barriers,
breaking down walls of seperation;
through tears and angry silence,
echoing through the night.

i kiss your eyes, your lips,
the arch of your neck.
your fingertips, your feet,
the inside of your thighs.
your wetness.

you open your eyes,
and the shadow disappears!

ecstasy...
the window broken
by moonlight.
the bastard star,
that licks the wound.
the fire that burns flesh,
and opens the casket.
the hammer
that breaks the shell.
love sap spilled
on a forbidden book.
the history of mankind,
written in charcoal.
the tears of the prisoner,
set free, drunk on freedom.
the garlic lips,
that tempt the hunger.

Nursery Rhyme For A Twenty-First Birthday

You cannot see the walls that divide your hand
From his or hers or mine when you think you touch it.

You cannot see the walls because they are glass,
And glass is nothing until you try to pass it.

Beat on it if you like, but not too hard,
For glass will break you even while you break it.

Shout, and the sound will be broken and driven backwards,
For glass, though clear as water, is deaf as granite.

This fraudulent inhibition is cunning: wise men

Have You Experienced Inside A Wall Within A Wall Within A Wall?

i laugh since i broke a wall and i smile because finally i am free
and yet when i try to smile anew i find myself inside another wall again.

i break another wall again and again and again
but the walls keep walling me like i am its lover.

and finally i give up, i feel the walls too loving and caring for me.
and then i care for the walls and learn to love each corner
its thickness its soundless world

and then i tell the house where the walls are growing healthy,
i am glad about walls. They keep me secure. And then finally i said it for once.
