On A Moonlit Night....
even trees undress,
on a moonlit night...
and the grasses moan,
mountains shudder with joy.
the darkness weeps,
overcome with sheer beauty.
and the sky bends to touch,
as if a cloud!

Sweet Dream
I weave sweet dreams
of twinkling light
in moonlit night
I entwine a garland of stars
in moonlit night
I do all so
to embellish you to look
like a fairy queen
and cherish you in moonlit night
I do so all
to see you like second moon
for graceful moment in moonlit night
I weave sweet dreams
of my thoughts and
make a garland
to vesture you to look
like a fairy queen
The rapacity of moon
will increase to see your beauty
then I will cover you
like the cloud
in moonlit night
I will ask the moonlit night
not to leave us alone
and be with us
throughout life.

Turning Wheel....
turning wheel....
newspaper clipping epitaphs,
dead bodies whisper
in the grasses turned brown...
water stagnant, stinking
with blackened greed....
children's hands severed,
lined up beneath the altar,
sacrificed to the gods
of an angry age...
even the trees weep,
and the mountains shudder!

Stars in the Sky
Stars, in the sky
So bright, so beautiful,
Want to touch them,
Wish I could fly
Their proximity is deceiving,
Although many light years away,
I’d do anything to see them,
I could watch them all day
Just a collapsing cloud,
Their sheer presence in the sky,
Gives personality to a dead night,
Portraying its beauty,
It is no longer shy
Stars, in the sky
So bright, so beautiful,
Want to touch them,
Wish I could fly
They are seen everywhere,
Populating the vast sky,
Priceless, in their profound existence,
So close, but yet so far, and so high
Emanating purity and power,
On a dark, clear night,
The sky blossoms like a flower
Indeed, Stars in the sky
So bright, so beautiful,
I want to touch them,
Wish I could fly

Darkness of the night, engulfed the day light
Darkness of the night
Engulfed the day light
The moon
Came from behind
The mountains
Showed its shining face
Showered cool light
The Sky was full of
Twinkling stars
My first
Meeting with her
Came to my mind
I could now see
Her beautiful face
In front of my eyes
I prayed
To the almighty
Do not let the moon
Go away
Let it stay forever
So that I keep on
Seeing her
Mesmerizing beauty
Throughout my life
My prayers remain
Unanswered
As night passed by
The moon slowly slipped
Behind the mountains
Giving way to sun light
Like all other moonlit
Nights
She vanished
Left me
Lonely and crying

We Were Once There Before
on a moonlit night
the shadows of the coconut trees
and the grasses
and the hut come to my mind
again
and i exclaim
how beautiful are these simple things
above them
purple clouds like a cape
beside a pearl moon
above it
a tiny star like
diamond

Just Before Dawn....
i've been too long in the valley of death,
too long in the prisons, too long at the wheel.
too close to the blade, too far from the fire,
too long defined by lonliness and grief.
they say there's a wind,
that comes from a forbidden place.
that strips leaves from the trees,
and causes mountains to shudder.
they say there's a god,
whose name we cant say.
who walks naked in the instant,
just before dawn.
and they say there's a lover,
who smells like me.
who tastes like my hunger,
whose voice i know.
yes, and they say there's a time,
when the wars will cease.
when the hungry will be fed,
and someone will care.
and i pray there's a hand,
and eyes that shine...
that darkness will undress me,
and name the light!
that small kindnesses will turn,
the ancient potter's wheel.
and make me a cup,
held close by your heart.
if i dance tonight beneath trees that weep,
know that tomorrow i'll burn,
know that my lips wait still...
know that i am alive...
as words fall like leaves...
the cross i lay down,
is but a shovel, but a pen...
the page i write upon...
you, simply you!

On this dappled dawn (Novelinee)
On this dappled silver shadowed dawn
you were in all my thoughts, were in my mind
and there was sheer loveliness in this morn,
without you to the beauty I was blind.
On different things my time I did spend
but in nothing could find any delight
and much too slowly along the day went
until the sheer black darkness of the night;
still I was lonely, you were out of sight.

You are the most beautiful
The beauty just for you,
I can't describe your beauty from inside and outside,
Your beauty made the people surprised on it,
Your beauty overcome on the beauty of moon,
Your beauty overcome on the beautiful nature,
I can't describe your beauty on the paper,
Because it's overcome to the world,
Because broken whole the rules,
Because made me busy,
In your eyes, check, lips, chest, , , etc,
Your beauty surpassed description,
Tell me how can I describe your beauty,

The Evolution Of Revolution
i can still taste,
frozen moonlit blood night
dripping from my fangs,
can feel the earth writing pawstruck,
the cool damp loving grasses.
still shudder with the howl,
that opens and spills my soul,
my eyes alive and searching
for the hint of passion.
pour a glass of wine,
we'll speak softly
like civilized men and women...
talk of books, ideals,
the evolution of revolution,
and paint a portrait of god.
still the drums beat,
the wind calls with a lover's need.
the trees mumble with magnetic sweeps,
and the night boils like blood!
pour a glass of wine,
we'll speak softly
like civilized shells
lying empty on the beach.
longing for that old longing,
the evolution of revolution...
but we would be gods!

Darkness Of...
Darkness is not the darkness of night
it is the darkness of mind and soul.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of discrimination between poor and rich.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of dishonesty.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of aggravate.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is darkness of corruption.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of indiscipline.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of animosity.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of inveterate.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness of perjury.
darkness is not the darkness of night,
it is the darkness that we all brought up inside us,
so, light the lamp of light inside you...

When Eyes Meet
the most intense part of lovemaking
is when eyes meet and undress...
and the world dies, and is born anew.
storms rage, oceans swell,
trees are bent with longing.
paths touch, and are deeply burnt,
and thousands of years are spoken...
without a word, without a thought,
infinity revealed in touch!
the candle flickers, goes out,
and darkness itself becomes light...
wolves howl, and the moon whispers!

A Challenge In The Dark
have a dose of
anonymity
undress, and be
comfortable with
the coldness
and wait,
someone that you
do not see clearly
offers
nothing but the self
no words
just a shadow
no touch but
just
being beside you
watching
what darkness does upon
darkness
hours melting
on the floor
no one picks up
anything
that is frozen
not one must mention
any hint
about the light of
dawn

Summer Morn in New Hampshire
All yesterday it poured, and all night long
I could not sleep; the rain unceasing beat
Upon the shingled roof like a weird song,
Upon the grass like running children's feet.
And down the mountains by the dark cloud kissed,
Like a strange shape in filmy veiling dressed,
Slid slowly, silently, the wraith-like mist,
And nestled soft against the earth's wet breast.
But lo, there was a miracle at dawn!
The still air stirred at touch of the faint breeze,
The sun a sheet of gold bequeathed the lawn,
The songsters twittered in the rustling trees.
And all things were transfigured in the day,
But me whom radiant beauty could not move;
For you, more wonderful, were far away,
And I was blind with hunger for your love.

That Tryst Worth Forgetting
i see you
and you follow me
my gaze tells you,
inside my room where i have been all alone,
where my loneliness is killing me,
you know what i want, you have a heart,
i need love, more love, and you know it,
and you follow me inside my room, as i undress myself,
and you understand, my thirst and my hunger, my longing and my pain,
and you undress yourself,
and you touch my face, and i touch yours, and then i kiss you
and you smile, and you wipe away my fears, and then we make love
throughout the night, and the morning after, i still see you sleeping, and i leave you a note, (and some money too) , i know, it will be the last, since deep within,
i found no love from you.

Children Shadows
Into the wind children voices echo’s
From near and far
Laughter of joy
Having fun in a large meadow
Linking to a empty space
The first rising of the moonlit
Night
The images of children within
The moonlit night
Vision of children playing
Around the old, old oak
Tree..
In the first rising of the moonlit
Night,
Vision of children playing within
The realms of shadows run.
In and out of the moonlit night
The children softly, softly fades
Into the night..

Back To An Old Place
it is summer
scorching summer
season creeping,
grasses are wilting
trees are shedding of
their last leaves,
what i see are bones
of trees,
skeletons of
branches,
the dry wind keeps
blowing the leaves
away,
what i have is this
bald surrounding
emptied of their
essence
beyond me are
brown mountains
vultures are
in the skies
eying for
death as prey
i sit upon a rock
the only rock
left here
i have no cover on
my head
i am half naked
i have no one to talk
to,
they have left this
arid place
a long time ago
i am back
i am telling the
sand soil,
i have something
to write and
tell the world
about it
it is summer
in this vast desert
a long time ago
this was ours
and the trees are green
grasses verdant
butterflies flutter
and innocently
land on our
hands.

When He's In Love Again
the clouds are so blue
the sea so calm and
the night so serene
the leaves have forgotten
to say a rustle and the
skies are whiter
the mountains silent
the trees tall and dignified
the grasses crawl
with the usual determination
the birds are singing
and the grasshoppers are
jumping
inside him rages a very
sweet storm

From The Tuscan
WHEN in the west the red sun sank in glory,
The cypress trees stood up like gold, fine gold;
The mother told her little child the story
Of the gold trees the heavenly gardens hold.
In golden dreams the child sees golden rivers,
Gold trees, gold blossoms, golden boughs and leaves,
Without, the cypress in the night wind shivers,
Weeps with the rain and with the darkness grieves.

I Am (Desire)
i am, become...
i am the stillness of the mountains,
and the whisperings of the grasses.
i am the kiss of the river,
running o'er stones and dirt.
i am the magnificent eagle,
but no less the sparrow...
i am the wind that weeps
for the land of the free!
i am concrete and glass,
the great cities you built.
i am factories and mills,
i am trucks hauling freight.
i am rows of corn,
your tractor, your mule.
i am brick houses built,
row upon row...
i am breasts and hands,
i am lips and legs wrapped.
i am sweetness and wetness,
i am heat and the moan..
i am the cave of desire,
the ride long, deep, and hard.
i am the dance of the lovers
in the great room of darkness.
i am children taught by lamplight,
books written by the candle.
i am integrity and dignity
handed down from generation to generation.
i am discernment and questioning,
and the prayers of all traditions.
i am the hope that listens,
hears, and cares....
i am the magic belief
that awaits the star,
and the birth...
the faith that demands
that living goes on...
i am all that you are
given without holding back...
i am tomorrow believing in today!
i am, i dance, i make love, i sing...
i am America's desire,
i am, become....

A Cloud In The Sky
There is a cloud in the sky and mixtures of colors floating around, now touch your lips and dream away. This is only a cloud in the sky, just only one cloud in the sky. Won’t you take me to the stars at night and watch them go flaying by, one by one they seem to fade into the night sky, now everything is alright. But when that sun comes out of his early morning bed, I’ll start to think of what I have done in my lifetime. You know that each night just brings the memories back to life, an you seem to be in a daze. And wondering to places where you never been. Now there is a cloud in the sky and it’s calling your name. Please come over here my darling and hold my hand tightly. Because you’re the light that shines on me.
