Occupy... (Citizen Of The World)
occupy...
Wall Street, banks, financial institutions.
the Congress, the White House, the Pentagon.
the court system, the prisons...
empty factory buildings, small businesses,
the coal mines, the oil fields,
the docks....
vacant foreclosed houses,
homeless shelters, soup lines...
the lines of the unemployed.
the fields ready to be picked.
the illegal immigrants bent backs...
the big trucks shut down...
minimum wage slave jobs...
cheap imports made by child labor,
the oil industry, the automobile industry...
occupy...
big farms, those who would spray harmful
chemicals on the crops...
family farms, threatened foreclosure by the banks.
the education system,
the medical profession...
hospitals, clinics, and insurance.
nursing homes, social security, Medicare
and Medicaid...
occupy...
welfare housing, tenemants and trailers...
section eight housing...
law enforcement, emergency services...
occupy....
the military, all national acts of aggression,
the war industry!
voting rights, voter registration, the political process....
occupy...
human rights, equality, dignity and respect.
freedom of speech, freedom of information,
the truth!
occupy...
your neighbors' needs, the suffering of others...
hunger, despair, the human family.
occupy...
your own body, your sense of social consciousness,
your words, actions, and intents...
occupy...
a shared freedom as a citizen of the world!

The Occupy Process...
just thinking, perhaps we should start
the whole occupy process by re-occupying
our own dignity... by rediscovering respect,
for ourselves, and for others!
and yes, let us re-occupy the truth, for we
have lived under the lie, and by the lie, for
far too long.
occupy, our bodies and souls, our dreams and hopes,
our convictions and actions... occupy our lives!

Why Are You Surprised?
Tunisia, Egypt, Spain, Greece and others did protest
Economic enslavement perpetrated by global banks
Bloody wars, poverty and famine moved slowly West
So why are you surprised at U.S. joining protest ranks

Occupy MDP!
Occupy MDP!
that’s
mom’s and dad’s place -
you imbeciles!
Occupy
Mom’s and Dad’s place -
they’ve made too much money!
They’ve worked since
they were twenty
Looking after kids
and saving money –
being selfish
no charity!
just being plain greedy!
Occupy MDP!
Don’t you see?
Mom and Dad got too much money!
Look at me –
I’m twenty-eight
going on twenty-nine –
ain’t got a penny
ain’t got a honey
and Dad and Mom
got too much in the kitty
They put money in the bank!
Damn! Don’t you see?
Mom and Dad are capitalists!
Occupy MDP!
So Dad and Mom
thirty years
they worked
and raised kids
and they’ve paid every cent on the house!
Damn! Mom and Dad are capitalists!
Damn! – they’re bourgeoisie!
Occupy MDP!
Open their fridge– eat for free!
Watch TV, use their internet
and surf with glee –
Mom and Dad can pay every fee!
Cos they’re capitalists
and money pigs –
that’s what they are,
Mom and Dad
So Occupy MDP!
Lie in the couch
and get your friends
in the garden
and trample on the beds of flowers -
Damn! Can’t you see?
She goes to the hairdresser’s;
She goes to the pedicurist -
Mom’s a bourgeoisie!
Drive Dad’s car
while he snores
who cares if you burn the tiers
just drive at speed
for a good adrenalin police chase -
Old Dad will pay the fines anyway!
Damn – the police are capitalists!
Dad’s a capitalist!
Mum’s a bourgeoisie!
Come on - O youth of the World
It does not matter if you are past
twenty or thirty -
All youth unite at this cry:
Occupy MDP!
Occupy Mom’s and Dad’s!
O brave Youth of the World -
Occupy MDP!

Occupy, The Body Of Freedom
'no more Kent States,
...no more Kent States...'
President Obama,
dont turn a deaf ear!
dont sell out to the machine.....
dont betray us like Nixon did!
silence is betrayel!
inaction is betrayel!
you cannot turn your head,
and hope we go away!
this isnt about helping you
get re-elected!
it's about the truth!
corporate America wont stand for it.
Wall street wont take it!
how many will be beaten?
how many pepper sprayed?
the fear you seek to instill
only validates freedom's song!
you cant sell us the lie anymore!
we're not buying it!
Occupy.....
occupy the body
.....of freedom!

Occupy Your Mind
(neil tennant / chris lowe)
Satisfy your reason
It will occupy your mind
Even when youre dreaming
Believe
Find another meaning
To determine what you need
Experience this feeling
And believe
Believe
In a world so confused
In a world so confused
In a world so confused
In a world so confused
Believe
Love will pierce the dark cloud
Of unknowing and reveal
All that you were dreaming
And believe
These communications
Will descend on you en masse
So what Im saying, baby
Is believe
Believe
In a world so confused
If you feel love refused
Believe
In a life so defined
You could find time
To change your mind
Believe
In a world so confused
If you find love refused
Believe
In a life so defined
You could find time
To change your mind
Believe
Occupy your mind and youll believe
Occupy your mind and youll believe
Occupy your mind and youll believe
Believe
In a world so confused
In a world so confused
Believe
Occupy your mind and youll believe

Do, Say, And Stand!
the whole force and mission of the Occupy
movement lies in the action of re-occupying
the body of freedom itself, bringing about a
fresh and new sense of equality, fairness,
and hope for every citizen.... a mission we
are all called to be a part of...
in every facet of daily life, freedom demands
that we do, say, and stand in a way both moral
and based on community... living the truth!

So that you will hear me
So that you will hear me
my words
sometimes grow thin
as the tracks of the gulls on the beaches.
Necklace, drunken bell
for your hands smooth as grapes.
And I watch my words from a long way off.
They are more yours than mine.
They climb on my old suffering like ivy.
It climbs the same way on damp walls.
You are to blame for this cruel sport.
They are fleeing from my dark lair.
You fill everything, you fill everything.
Before you they peopled the solitude that you occupy,
and they are more used to my sadness than you are.
Now I want them to say what I want to say to you
to make you hear as I want you to hear me.
The wind of anguish still hauls on them as usual.
Sometimes hurricanes of dreams still knock them over.
You listen to other voices in my painful voice.
Lament of old mouths, blood of old supplications.
Love me, companion. Don't forsake me. Follow me.
Follow me, companion, on this wave of anguish.
But my words become stained with your love.
You occupy everything, you occupy everything.
I am making them into an endless necklace
for your white hands, smooth as grapes.

Hibernation
Hibernation
Occupy falling snow; claim it make a snowman with coal eyes and
carrot nose before winter is over and your task runs through your
fingers as water into soft the soil and is privatized when it runs into
a deep lake and you must pay if you want a drink or take a shower.
A carrot not enough to make soup, pieces of coal are not enough to
warm your cold hands. The barons of money have bought streams,
forests and mountains, fenced in and there are gates, you must pay
if you want to walk and see nature at her most enthralling liberty.
And you will think; where is our emancipation to express ourselves?
Nothing is free, why should it be? This is democracy the right to buy
and sell the world’s resources and charge whatever the market says.
And you pay for what is rightfully yours. If you do not occupy it now it
will be too late, spring is the name of misery and it is your fault for
sleeping when snow fell in your garden.

I had rather be shut up in a very modest cottage with my books, my family and a few old friends, dining on simple bacon, and letting the world roll on as it liked, than to occupy the most splendid post, which any human power can give.

There Can Be No Freedom
there can be no freedom
when your own children are
going to bed hungry.....
when your workers stand
in jobless lines called by numbers,
not by names....
when your farms are taken
by the banks, and your tractors
sold at auction....
when your homes are foreclosed,
your small businesses shut down,
and they bail out the banks
with your retirement!
when your President stands by,
and does nothing,
as they beat, and terrorize your children....
when war after war the hole gets bigger,
and your thoughts and words are stolen!
there can be no freedom without change....
...no change unless we dare!

It May Not Be In Good Taste
A manipulation of space...
Is performed with decisions made,
Who will or will not...
Occupy it,
With an influence to make.
It is like a game of marketing,
To sell a product to feed.
It may not be as nutritious as others,
But an attention given to it...
Is definitely guaranteed.
A manipulation of space...
Is performed with decisions made,
Who will or will not...
Occupy it,
With an influence to make.
The same is applied,
To those who supply what becomes demanded.
It may not be in good taste.
However...
A repetition solicits a need with no limits.
And it may not be what the people wish.
But if a rating is given to it...
Whatever it is will be on everyone's lips.
With an unresisted craving.

The World That Lies
Go to the world that lies and exhibits cruelty,
That sins in many ways, in those ways we call evil.
Then resent it from all your heart, and head back
Introducing yourself to the evil people of your own country.
This is a circle of harm and wilderness,
Of forests that contain hideous dwellers,
They occupy my life so madly to resist me,
To occupy my soul and my country.
This country is a team so bright, so like flight
That evil has disappeared, for they have been floating
In a world of prayer from my mind and body,
And, as well, my moods are like the monuments
Loading more picture in my sight and eyes,
My very heart breathes for the light of this tower.

Wall Street
On the wall of Facebook of uncertainty
your blog is written-
A Street that swirls to Capitalism.
What to occupy?
Anarchy, Crash, War, or a History?
JP Morgan, Daniel Drew, Jay Gould or the WTO?
Prairie farmers, urban workers middle sizes traders
denounced 'Money Trust';
ultimately trusted money.
Progressive Reformers charged the 'Devil Fish'
degrading democracy;
finally joined to loot the other people's money.
Working -class socialists welcomed the money street
as a transit route toward collective ownership;
now distrusted.
It is not a Chinese wall-street
that encircled the capital
It is an American firewall that
engulfed the world in Seattle.
War came war went Wall Street is high
Capital comes Capital goes
No one can still occupy.
Because Money is Honey, Money is moral
Money can not die
Protest comes and protest goes
Wall Street erects high.
