Kindness
kindness...
the fruit of the pain
of years of abuse,
neglect, loss, and hunger...
the mirror of past actions
planting human seeds
in common ground...
the expression of God's breath
on a world of empty houses!
the action of forgiveness...

Human Resposibility
When will the members of the human race
help to make this world into a better place?
Because lately it seems to be getting worse
as if it is under some kind of damned curse.
Most of what we hear these days is bad news!
It’s almost as if there’s nothing else to choose.
The good we have all known belongs to the past
and so the present or future is viewed as aghast.
The actions all people do give an indication of that
regardless of any good ideological debate or chat.
The transition of ideas and thoughts to actions or deeds
is just like the sowing of a future crop by planting seeds.
If the seeds used are of a poor quality it will matter much
even though more time is spent cultivating them by touch.
That’s why it’s better to do things properly right from the start
as time brooding over what could have been won’t help in part.

Empty Old Houses
Empty Old Houses
Empty old houses can talk…
But one must know how to listen…
to hear them
Empty old houses have stories…
But one must be eager to listen…
to hear them
Empty old houses can suffer..
But one must have empathy …
To feel it
Empty old houses can feel pain
But one must be able to bear it …
To feel it
Empty old houses have memories
But one must believe … that they have…
To share them
Empty old houses contain people’s lives
But one must believe…that they do…
To share them
Empty old houses can seem dead and deserted
But one must know that they’re not..
To know them
Empty old houses can teem with life’s pleasures
But one must walk through
to sense the aura of life
Empty old houses abound in life’s treasures
But one cannot help but…
To admire them

Forgiveness!
Forgiveness is the sweet fruit a tree giveth,
Forgiveness is that energy, a fruit to its eater giveth,
Forgiveness is the milk a cow giveth,
Forgiveness is the light, that burning candle giveth,
Forgiveness is the life, the world giveth,
Forgiveness is rain that the clouds giveth,
Forgiveness is that natural, the one understood nature giveth,
Forgiveness is the perfume of selflessness in one spredeth,
Like sunlight in winter,
like moonlight in dark,
Like cool breeze in summer,
Like oasis in a desert,
Like spring of pure love, from a pure heart forever springeth!

Farthest of my Farthest Spheres
Mother launches me
Out of her womb
On to this world
Amidst flames of pain
And torrents of pain!
Mother alone
Is my star I
I spin around
In tight circles
For all my needs!
Slowly and steadily
A host of things
Fascinate my fancies
As days rush past me
Planting seeds of desires !
I kick my orbit
At its waist;
Make it elliptical
To gain easy grasp
Of far-off glitters!
Every spectacle
Weans away
My proximity to mom
Yet i near her
For all selfish needs!
An irresistible star now
Charms my eyes!
Onto a collision course
I become a wanton prey!
It tears me away
Out of gravity
Of my aged mother;
Crashes me safely
Onto its bosom!
Now my mother
No more a star -
But my planet!
And from a demanding planet
To a commanding star
I raise my status!
Near impossibility
In heavenly science;
But common occurrence
In human history!
And i keep her
As my farthest of farthest spheres!

Charity and good deeds
Make charity
Make good deeds
For the common people
My poems are for the common people
Common people have emotions
I am a poet and
I look after the emotions
Emotions follow actions
This world is full of action
Action with devotion
Gives a man perfection
And a perfect man is
His best creation.

Prayer for Forgiveness
i knelt down and prayed
this morning for forgiveness
for everything this country is doing
around the world...
for the oil wars,
for the partnerships
with countries that abuse
human rights...
for the dictators we
both prop up and remove...
for the gluttony and the greed
here at home.... for the apathy,
for the self centered path
of destruction we march on...
for those left hungry, homeless,
without medical care, without hope...
and i know i am a part of this...
i take responsibility for my actions,
my inaction, my complacency...
and vow to stand for truth,
and to walk in involved
human compassion!
join me!

Tribute To Wacko Jacko
Pain of a loss like the pain at the cross the crucifix
Bitter than wine and gall mix
How do I express my feelings concerning this loss
When its weight is beyond my poetic expressions
When it expresses itself with more Sofia words
Though I’m going to try
It feels like throwing gold seeds to birds
The only seeds I managed to collect after the harvest
Helping me to keep on sowing poetry
He was one of the eyes eyed by the whole globe
And if life is lost we say bye to hope
His death popped the death of pop as its king breathed his last
Entering the records of history the study of the past
His exodus from the earth
Left his fans wrestling, gasping for some breath
In this gigantic sphere full of green trees giving birth
In this populated world of oxygen
The last time we communicate he begged I should hold his hand
Because he is about to erase his mark out of this land
And it’s a shame I did not understand what he meant
I am sorry Michael
Hope God will see you and make you the archangel MICHAEL THE SECOND

Some May Feel I am Negative
In my lifetime of wars, famines and prejudice the World may not be free
Nor not in a thousand years from now or so 'twould seem to me
For acts of terror leads to more terror and mistrust leads to hate
And in this age of advanced technology not much to celebrate.
Some may feel I am negative just going by what I say
That I'm one of those who look at life in quite a jaundiced way
But in a World where some have too much and many of hunger die
To sing about a perfect World would be a perfect lie.
The World would be a better World without human selfishness and greed
And the marvellous gift of selflessness to a better World would lead
But us humans have our failings and in some ways we are small
And it's all part of our Nature, we are human after all.
In my own lifetime and centuries from now I cannot seem to see
A World that's free of war and bloodshed and human misery
And men will still wage war for God and Land and in war so called winners don't win
And for the God we do not know we neglect our God within.

The Mirror is The Memory
reflect deflect just search inside,
girl why not take a look in mirror please!
deflect shield,
who are you protect from the horrors of your past,
just take a look in the mirror please!
dry up raise seeds so that how it may appear,
just take a second look, god is know to work miracles
just take a look in the mirror please.
third of the month and you know what that mean,
and no reason for the rag,
well i told you to look in the mirror.
after all this year you follow see what i see,
so how do you feel to look at the mirror after all this years,
beauty is only skin deep so what is thick techincally view as unattracitve this days,
GIRL I TOLD YOU TO LOOK IN THE MIRROR?
DO YOU DREAM AS WELL?
CAUSE I CAN TAKE YOU A WAY.....
MANY WOMAN MIGHT
SAY I HEARD IT SOME GOOD MAN LEFT,
NOW YOU CAN SAY SO I HAVE HEARD SO?
SO TELL ME WHOS THE PERSON IN MIRROR,
AND CAN YOU SAY SHE BEAUTFIUL.

Shattered Mirror
Shattered Mirror
Broken face
So lost now
I have no place
Scared of life
Nowhere to turn
So far to go
A life to learn
Shattered Mirror
Tattered dreams
All alone
Too hard it seems
Feel so empty
Lost inside
Too much to bear
I wish I'd died
Shattered Mirror
Murdered love
Dark thought come
And rise above
Tears of love
Heart of pain
Mess of thoughts
Maybe insane
Shattered Mirror
Loss of life
Hopes of death
Constant strife
Now let go
Lonely tear
Empty now
Wish you were here....

Too Much Freedom
If we were to stay anonymous
And our need for identity be forgotten
Then life would have too much freedom
And end in its own destruction
For anonymity leads to
Self expression
Of the most extreme
For their freedom fears not
The eternal cell of scrutiny
For their is no face to judge
And confine its uncontrollable
Laugh from the face of mankind
To be free from the curse of identity
Is to be cursed with freedom
For too much freedom
Leads to too much power
And a 'Common Power' at that.
For conflicting ideas
Of freedom and voice
Would choose to eliminate
Hindrances by its own hand
Without the ordered hand of identity
For a faceless man
Is a man without shame
And doth be invisible
For his own expression may threaten
The expression of others
A darkened shade
Placed across the world by total freedom
Will forever mask the anonymous
For their actions can not be traced
To the identity that had given breath to it.

Loss Lost in Thought
Loss of love from your partner in soul:
A.k.a. jilt;
Loss of love from your bygones of souls:
A.k.a. mourning;
Loss of love which came from a dearth
Of love through rescinding love:
A.k.a. hatred;
Love to science in analysis be
Secretion of oxytocin in association
With an entity that leads to bonding - so boring:
A.k.a. must all suffer scientific explanation?
Loss of love, a catastrophe, nay!
So love, nurture love, and be loved!
Loss of nature from dear Mother Earth:
A.k.a. destruction;
Loss of greed in material world:
A.k.a. always opportunity for altruism;
Loss of kindness and pity and all:
A.k.a. human nature has dark undertones;
Loss of ego and fire of desire:
A.k.a. loss may be good in consequence;
Loss of responsibility; humility:
A.k.a. loss may be unnerving.
Loss of Homo sapiens:
A.k.a. demise of the flawed primate - pinnacle of Darwinism - equates to
No art; music; poetry; debate, and
Everything innate ornate of human!
So concentrate please, on bliss of this.

Raw Deal
I made a spike about nine oclock on a saturday
All eyes hit me as I walked into the door
Then ? ? ? and then the guys were fooling in the demin dudes
A couple cards played rough stuff, new york, fire island
I cased the joint, straining at the scenes
I moseyed up to the counter and the tender came a-grinnin
I snapped the smile off his face and scowled give me a bourbon
The mirror on the wall was collecting and reflecting
All the heavy bodies ducking, stealing eager for some action
The scene screwed me up, I saw some contact
Then the big boys, saw me and knew that
Id had too much, floating around
Statues alive, seconds are hours
Sacks like a hurricane, wrapped in and shattered
I was barely holding on to this flying body symphony
I guess I dream in pictures, not colors
The true free expression I demand is human rights - right
I gave my life, I am immortal
Im going, no loss
Im going, no loss
Im going, no loss
Im going, no loss
Nightmare, just a bunch of goddamn, rotten, steaming, raw
Deal

Listen to My Tears
Forgiveness you have asked of me
Don't you dare walk out that door
Listen to my tears, mirror of my fears
You have hurt me to the very core
Forgiveness you have not earned
Your many lies had taken their toll
Mirror of my fears, listen to my tears
Shed in the darkness of my soul
Forgiveness you do not deserve
But, to heal, I will bring myself to
Listen to my tears, mirror of my fears
Ignore the signs that we are through
Forgiveness you shouldn't soon expect
Her name you call instead of mine
Mirror of my fears, listen to my tears
For our love lost, I will always pine

Pain...and...Joy
You Are The Pain and The Joy
You are the Pain and the joy
on the stage of life.
You are the pain hunger and the joy
of food on ones table.
You are the pain of the homeless,
and the joy, of the home,
in His heart.
You are the pain on a bitter,
winter day and the joy, in
the warmth of the sun.
You are the pain and joy, in the
solitude, of those moments alone.
You are the pain and joy, that
lingers in ones heart.
You are the pain in music that is bad,
and you are the joy, in my song
of life.
You are the pain, in the tragedies
of the world, and the joy in the
goodness of people.
You are the pain of the orphans of
the street, and the joy, in a
mothers love.
You are the pain, in a sometime unjust
world, and the joy in the spirit
of ones heart.
You are the pain, in the loss of
loved ones, and the joy, when they
are seated at His table.
You are the pain of self destructive
addiction and the joy in redemption.
You are the pain, in the sicknesses of
this world, and the joy in the
hope of recovery.
You are the pain in the misery of the poor,
and disenfranchise, and the joy, in
the parts of society, that attempts to,
raise them up.
You are the pain and you are the joy,
in all things. For you see, in life, there
can not be joy...unless there is pain.
In LIfe...Unless There Is Pain...There Can Not Be Joy

We Are Human
They say that life is a bitter pill
That we all must take after every meal
But sometimes that pill is so hard to swallow
As the road up ahead, it is hard to follow,
We all have demons that we must overcome
And it is easily done as a prick of the thumb
First we must redeem our past and sin no more
We must fight those battles and then win that war,
We must seek and wish for virtue and inner peace
A calmness of the soul so our worries might cease
Our past sins and transgressions we must forsake
While acknowledging our past with a wake,
We must bury that pill deep into the ground
Where it will forever stay and will never be found
Circling ourselves with honesty, faith and truth
Surrounded by love and forgiveness of our youth,
Expressing our sorrow and no longer for us to hide
And then ask forgiveness as our past has died
But in the end there is one truth for every man and woman
We are just animals of the world, we are human.
