Glee
watching my old blind dog
roll in the grass,
biting his tail.... with glee!
he's got it!
that's what we forget.
that's what we've lost...
no matter how old,
or what your health is,
or what's going on around you...
that sense of total abandon,
rolling in the grass
biting our tails...
with glee!

Biting Bullets
Dont you wonder
Is anyone that strong
It takes me under
Believing what Im seeing
I get so tired of watching friends go down
The hungry tiger for all who never began
Biting bullets
Biting the clouds
Biting bullets
Biting the clouds
I saw the show
Shaking all the babies
Should I believe the parade of clever lies
Shadow of light in the shadow of death
There is no difference to all who never began
There was a time
There was a way to live
And its no secret
That it wont come back again
I lose myself like anybody else
But Im not so strong to make it in the end
I need some answers when the day comes crashing down
cause its all over when theres no one to be found

Mr. Fluffles
Mr. Fluffles, the pink chinchilla
No more biting, just stop it will ya?
I know you hate the fact that you're pink
But I can not help what it is that I think
I know you're just a vivid hallucination
And the fact that you're pink doesn't offer a lot of intimidation
But when your 40 brothers and sisters all sit there staring at me
I have to admit its kinda creepy
Mr. Fluffles, just so soft and fluffy
But when you get to biting you're just not cuddly
Why can't you just let me be
You're not Kato so why do ambush me
You just look so cute when you go to sleep
Curled up in a fuzzy ball, counting sheep
So now we go to sleep and let our problems float away
But I know you'll get to biting this next up coming day
Cause you're Mr. Fluffles, the pink chinchilla
You'd probably stop the biting if I colored you vanilla
But I just can't help it, why can't you see
Ow! Mr. Fluffles no more biting me

Kissing the Fang
Snake biting once biting dead
Snake biting twice biting life
Walking in the sorghum stalk
The oldest foe- the snake heard my feet
The snake raised the neck and hissed
As our eyes met at equilibrium
I stopped and drew my spear
The hateful send boiled to the brim
The brawl commenced I speared it back fatefully
The snake bitten my right feet fatefully
The biting bit me dead I fell down breathing not
The snake bitten my left feet again.
The biting bit me life I raised up breathing lively
The snake snaked away
The venom paralyzed me but
I giddily crawled after the snake
I gasped and kissed the snake fang
I spate the healing saliva in the snake wound
We departed in peace-indeed peace in death

My Feelings With Animals And Birds
My feelings are heard by the birds and animals,
I converse with their own speaking customs;
My threshold is uncertain, they are ignorant,
Forces are at work, and the playing of the stars is mild.
Stars and certain planets cease to exist if I sing,
My cage is that of a slave, in spectacular arrangement;
My songs need biting as my lunch needs biting as well,
These are the stars I recollect from experience and trance.
My feelings are like that of the stars and birds,
I am human and free, conversations matter to the infirm
And weak in health, and my doors are always open to guests
Who enjoy my company and not just animals and birds.

A Red Slice Of Watery Red Melon
IN the room where we made love
i offer you a slice of my
red watermelon
i take a bite and i tell you
about its taste
sweet, as sweet as my love for you
you do not care
about the juice the redness the watery
freshness of my
red water melon
i am naked sitting on the floor
i am hungry and need some rest
i am talking unnecessarily wasting
my words about my red watermelon
you laugh
and you notice something flaccid
it is funny
and then you back to sleep
still dreaming
about something thick and hard and stiff
like a dog
with a bone in his mouth
still looking for a place
where to stay alone
and lick it
and rig its sharp teeth
biting, biting and biting still

The Grass Smells Red
The grass smells red.
Untill these mortal bounds find thier way into the catostrophic fire's of love and redemption, the grass will smell red.
The grass tells a story of wars unsung and battles lost.
The grass tells a story of love gained and a fury found again.
The grass smells red...but does it speak?
Does it's voice ring out like the bells in a steeple?
Does it feel the pain of those who died?
Did it hear the screams?
The grass smells red and it grow's red.
It feels red.
This grass will die red.

When Eden faded away into memory
When Eden faded away into memory,
the big beautiful trees,
the lovely grass
and pets all
came to a end.
Adam cast his eyes
up to the blue sky
and rain lashed down
and lightning roared.
He swam through a river
and suddenly piranhas nibbled at him.
lions, tigers and wolves
appeared as if out of nowhere
and roared and howled
and attacked scratching and biting.
Poisonous snakes
crawled hissing from rocks
and plants and grass.
Yet, Eve was just as lovely
as the first time,
that he laid eyes on her.
At times she cried
and sometimes she sang
and he went to discover,
what a wonderful place
the world was with her on his side.

Forget To Remember
what have i done?
where have i come from?
when i burnt the backs with the sun through a glass did i
seal the loss thats become me?
feeling undone,
what have i become?
when i turned my back on you i turned my back on myself
and became this machine,
thoughtlessness, selfishness, hopelessness, arrogant
i feel it on the inside, twisting and controling, memory
has shaped me once again,
still feeling you on the inside, biting through and stinging,
will i ever forget to remember?
shadows in the sun,
filter through us,
still wrestle the demons that aressted me as a child,
confession rejected,
we grow up,
to give up,
people step on the cracks of wounds owed paid back
through the words of surrender,
emptiness, loneliness, listlessness, worthless
i feel it on the inside, twisting and controling, memory
has shaped me once again,
still feeling you on the inside, biting through and stinging,
will i ever forget to remember?
can you save me? from myself, from these memories,
can you save me? from myself, from these momories,
surrender, to the shadows, haunting inside, bleed
through you,
surrender to the secrets inside, lies within you,
i feel it on the inside, twisting and controling, memory
has shaped me once again,
still feeling you on the inside, biting through and stinging,
will i ever forget to remember?
cant feel you on the inside, set down the bag and left it,
lost memory has left me
one again,
open up the inside, admission for the cleansing, now that
i've forgotten to remember,
surrender, to the shadows, haunting inside, bleed
through you,

One Saturday Morning At The Mountain Top Inside The House
it is raining outside
it is the habitualness of the image that flows inside us
green grass and rolling hills and clouds a drifting
the sound of rain like footsteps of children playing under the shower from heaven
i sit upon a chair looking outside
i am not thinking about anything simply watching the rain
the green grass
the trees the sea and the horizon that extends more than what my eyes can see
more than what i can contain
this empty bowl with a wide mouth open
this hollowness that cannot speak because it does not have the exact words
to say
it seems to me that the correct existence that fills this void is nothing
but the silence of the trees, the grass, the hills and the far away seas

Biting Those Lips
Why are you biting your lips?
'I am practicing.'
So you are learning to keep your mouth shut?
'I said I was 'practicing'.
And as far as keeping my mouth shut...
That is a learning process.
And I did say I was practicing.
I did not say I was learning anything...
Yet! '
Practice makes perfect,
You know?
'Who said anything about wanting to be perfect?
There are too many rehearsing that right now.
With questionable results I am sure will be delivered.
And I am practicing biting my lips,
In the event 'that' becomes a necessity.
And once that becomes discovered as one of my skills,
Well...
Only 'then' will I begin rehearsing perfection,
To overwhelm those disbelieving...
I have yet revealed another talent no one can deny.'
I see.
Well...
You keep biting those lips,
Okay?

There is nothing fantastic or ultradimansional about crab grass... unless you are an sf writer, in which case pretty soon you are viewing crab grass with suspicion. What are it's real motives And who sent it here in the first place It only looks like crab grass. That's what they want us to think it is. One day the crab grass suit will fall off and their true identity will be revealed. By then the Pentagon will be full of crab grass and it'll be too late. The crab grass, or what we took to be crab grass, will dictate terms.

Rockn Roll Widow
(t. snow)
Producer: carter
Album: private dancer emi centenary edition
B-side of the us/oz whats love got to do with it single
B-side of the uk/ger help single
Im sitting at home and the phone doesnt even ring
Im all alone again
Not a sound in the house save the radio
Fm dj filling up the emptiness
Babys on the road again
Six weeks nation-wide opening the show
And Im making it on my own like a rockn roll widow
Get my news from the rolling stone, wake by the telephone
Wonder if hes alone
Or is my man on a permanent loan to rockn roll
Rockn roll
Outdoor concert, watching him play for me
I fall in love again
He says his music is everything
Helpless, caught by the melody
When he begins to sing
Go on, tell me hes like all the rest
And Im making it on my own like a rockn roll widow
Get my news from the rolling stone, wake by the telephone
Wonder if hes alone
Or is my man on a permanent loan to rockn roll
Rockn roll
Watching him run
Ive got the feeling that hes already lost in the life
So Im making it on my own like a rockn roll widow
Get my news from the rolling stone, wake by the telephone
Wonder if hes alone
Or is my man on a permanent loan to rockn roll
To rockn roll

I Chop Some Parsley While Listening To Art Blakey's Version Of "Three Blind Mice"
And I start wondering how they came to be blind.
If it was congenital, they could be brothers and sister,
and I think of the poor mother
brooding over her sightless young triplets.
Or was it a common accident, all three caught
in a searing explosion, a firework perhaps?
If not,
if each came to his or her blindness separately,
how did they ever manage to find one another?
Would it not be difficult for a blind mouse
to locate even one fellow mouse with vision
let alone two other blind ones?
And how, in their tiny darkness,
could they possibly have run after a farmer's wife
or anyone else's wife for that matter?
Not to mention why.
Just so she could cut off their tails
with a carving knife, is the cynic's answer,
but the thought of them without eyes
and now without tails to trail through the moist grass
or slip around the corner of a baseboard
has the cynic who always lounges within me
up off his couch and at the window
trying to hide the rising softness that he feels.
By now I am on to dicing an onion
which might account for the wet stinging
in my own eyes, though Freddie Hubbard's
mournful trumpet on "Blue Moon,"
which happens to be the next cut,
cannot be said to be making matters any better.

Grass
Laying on the grass my heart it flares like fire
The way you slap my face just fills me with desire
You play hard to get
cause youre teachers pet
But when the boats have gone
Well take a tumble excuse for a fumble
Shocked me too the things we used to do on grass
If you fancy we can buy an ice-cream cone
Your mate has gone she didnt want to be alone
I will pounce on you
Just us and the cuckoos
You are helpless now
Over and over we flatten the clover
Shocked me too the things we used to do on grass
It would shock you too the things we used to do on grass
Grass, grass.
Things we did on grass

Hypocrite
As your eyes blur, moving in the light
Why you said I'm a hypocrite?
When you are the ones that not listen & sleep of convictions.
Uncertain beliefs and of sorrow lives, you conceive.
Of the object, we live.
On my right water, I left.
Empty I forget.
Sphere shell
Spices and tea
Raspberry tins.
And, if the night is only an empty space.
To be fill of dreams
A circle of biting tails
Exited like a child smile of counted innocent's teeth.

September Grass
Well, the suns not so hot in the sky today
And you know I can see summertime slipping on away
A few more geese are gone, a few more leaves turning red
But the grass is as soft as a feather in a featherbed
So Ill be king and youll be queen
Our kingdoms gonna be this little patch of green
Wont you lie down here right now
In this september grass
Wont you lie down with me now
September grass
Oh the memory is like the sweetest pain
Yeah, I kissed the girl at a football game
I can still smell the sweat and the grass stains
We walked home together. I was never the same.
But that was a long time ago
And where is she now? I dont know
Wont you lie down here right now
In this september grass
Wont you lie down with me now
September grass
Oh, september grass is the sweetest kind
It goes down easy like apple wine
Hope you dont mind if I pour you some
Made that much sweeter by the winter to come
Do you see those ants dancing on a blade of grass?
Do you know what I know? thats you and me, baby
Were so small and the worlds so vast
We found each other down in the grass
Wont you lie down with me right here
September grass
Wont you lie down with me now
In this september grass
Lie down
Lie down
Lie down
Lie down
(repeat)
Wont you lie down here right now
In this september grass
Wont you lie down here now
In this september grass

My Young Teacher
Anika awakens the child in me,
I watch her, as she fetches her toys
And shows off with pride and glee
With her, I don’t have to act poised.
I know, she is actually aware,
Whether am really having fun
Or just pretending to be there.
She never walks, always runs.
Chasing the butterflies and bees
With her frock flying in the air,
I run after her to ensure and see
She may not fall but she couldn’t care.
She dances with sheer abandon,
She hasn’t yet discovered fear.
Her infectious joy fills me with sudden
Energy, I boldly invite her and declare,
Come on let’s play hide and seek.
I call out and just pretend to look all over
I can see her, from behind the bush stealthily peak
Finally catch her, as she bursts in peels of laughter.
Why the child in me had slept for so long?
I guess we are too busy chasing our dreams
And forget to enjoy small pleasures as we go along,
Each mile stone drives us to go full steam,
We go on increasing our pace,
And slowly become sombre and tense.
A smile is replaced by a grimace,
And become adept at keeping the pretence.
She has taught me how to enjoy and be free,
Drool at the sight of a strawberry ice cream
And clap and shout licking it full of glee,
As if eating it was like fulfilling a long lost dream.
I have no clue how long I was lost in reverie,
I was suddenly embraced in a warm hug
She had noiselessly come behind me.
Who needs an anti anxiety drug,
Once you discover the child in you lying latent
And connect with innate sense of joy and pleasure
It is a gift given to the grand parents
By a grandchild, for ever to treasure.
