Choices, Or Destiny (For Aufie Zophy)
right and wrong,
division and hatred.
moral implications,
immoral men.
ignorance and pride,
hearts restrained by fear.
the hammer of judgement,
hands buried in pockets!
do we fly?
or watch pictures of flight?
do we care?
or live by token gestures?
do we pray?
or recite mechanical cures?
do we live?
or exist behind walls?
choices, or destiny?
truth, or salvation?
gods carved in stone,
cannot weep for the poor.
and the stranger we meet,
smells like something we've lost.
choices, or destiny?
to fly, or to watch?

Destiny
Sometimes I think I've lost my mind
I thought I'd left my past behind
I live my life and all I know is
Follow your dream and don't let go
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
There is no right, there is no wrong
There is no place where I belong
I've done my time I've held a strong end
My life is all about this song
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
If I threw it all away, would it change? (No)
I would live my life again, will you arrange it?
There is a magic in my heart
That I feel
Don't you know that God is love
And it's real
La la la la la la la...
No one can live for me
No one can see the things I see
I walk this road no one can tell me how to be
It's my destiny
My destiny
My destiny
My destiny
It's my destiny

The Grey Areas: Revised
they think and teach you
that black is black and white is white
that either you are moral or immoral
that either you leave or stay
that either you die or live
that there are only choices of
either/or
they tell you do not do this
do not do that
do only this and that
they prohibit you and tell you
it is for your own good
as though they are gods
and you are the dogs
an old man with bright eyes
asks me to go near him
and he says: try the middle of things
it is not just black or white but
there are shades and shades of choices
in between
in there everything is allowed.
the grey areas. the exceptions. the exemptions.
try them. they are all exciting. like the colors of the rainbow
like the patches of red, and orange and blue and pink
you see, who is telling you that there are no other colors
than black and white?
i am neither good nor bad.
In truth, i am just myself.

Our Destiny Is In Our Own Hands
Our destiny is in our own hands some have been known to say
But circumstance in all of that must have some part to play
If you are born on no hope street and homeless in your youth
To you our destiny is in our own hands does not have a ring of truth.
Our destiny is in our own hands to some may well apply
It may apply to you and he and her as well as I
But not of course to everyone each day thousands of hunger die
Our destiny is in our own hands to the millions is a lie.
The innocents who die in war and acts of terrorism did not create their destiny
They would not wish it on themselves for to die so tragically
Their destiny was in others hands which often is the case
They just happened at the wrong time for to be in the wrong place.
That our destiny is in our own hands apply to some maybe
But ninety nine per cent of street kids will die in poverty
Due to their circumstances of birth they are condemned to fail
And some of them die of drug overdoses and some of them die in jail.

Choices
Choices
Are a form of grace
To have a choice
A voice,
is a privilege
Choices can
Change situations
The right choices
can uphold mankind
for thousands of generations
Choices
becomes personal declarations
A vow for one to live by
There shall always be
difficult choices to make
inorder to survive
Therefore,
Choose wisely today
For tomorrow
Shall surely come and
The choices of today could
Makes all future matters
well done!

Whatever it takes i will rule my destiny,
With no fear i will hunt my destiny.
Corrupt and exploited minds control my ways
But still i will get my destiny.
My destiny though tiny,
I will get it in full.
Never will i share it with anyone,
Not even my only one.
No man knows my destiny but God alone,
For life is but a dream.
And if at all we will wake up
i pray that i should wake up clean.
I let the talk, talk the talk,
And the walk, walk the walk
For it is those who seek that find,
And those he (God) pleases that he blesses.
But for me, blessed or not,
Either way i will live into my own story.
And get my destiny.

Many Say Our Life's Journey
Many say our life's journey is fashioned from the life choices we make
That due to poor decisions the wrong road we do take
But assumptions to make to some people do come easily
The people who discount what is known as life's destiny,
The child born of parents living in poverty
Disadvantaged from birth what life choice has she or he?
Homeless as teenagers with little to eat
On the dingy sidewalks of Poverty Street
Life choices not for those of the poor streets of town
For most from there life's journey never leads to renown
Homeless as teenagers they turn to drugs and crime
And like their parents before them serve many years of jail time
Life choices are not for everyone it does seem to me
Though with me on this one many would disagree.

Tis Destiny
Though many may see it in a different way
'Tis destiny in our lives that does have the say
Our life journey our journey to destiny
To fame and to riches and to poverty.
'Tis a fact that the greatest are mortals and facts never lie
And from the day we are born to the day that we die
Destiny on our lives a huge part does play
'Tis destiny decided that I pen this today.
Many who believe in life choices will tell you that your life journey you decide
Those who ignore that you need to have luck on your side
They see your station in life as of your making not of circumstance
And they scoff at any mention of destiny or chance.
The town's wealthiest person in his fiftieth year was buried today
'Twas cancer he died of in a slow painful way
This was not of his choice of that most would agree
A slow painful death part of his life's destiny.

They Live In Division
People of ignorance take no time to learn,
But rush to judgement to incite a fighting done...
Dawn after dawn and after many midnights.
They live in division.
People.
People of ignorance initiate hate.
With a wasting of time to find themselves,
Replaced.
By the acts of Mother Nature.
And the reality of this no one claims is faked.
Then people in this condition expect overnight,
Their self-centered appetites...
To be restored as they would like.
Even when the winds have broken tree limbs.
They live in division.
Even when God wants division to end,
They live in division.
People...
To even ignore every message sent,
They live in division.
People...
Stuck in ruts like nuts cracked up,
They live in division.
People...
Even when the winds have broken tree limbs.
They live in division.
People of ignorance initiate hate.
With a wasting of time to find themselves,
Replaced.
By the acts of Mother Nature.
And the reality of this no one claims is faked.
But...
Even when the winds have broken tree limbs.
They live in division.
People...
To even ignore every message sent,
They live in division.
People...
Stuck in ruts like nuts cracked up,
They live in division.
People...
Stuck in ruts like nuts cracked up,
They live in division.
People...
They live in division.
People...
They live in division.

Greatest Questions
Little boy;
What does thy know about destiny?
The poet;
I know but little about destiny
Little boy;
If ye tells me I know I will live life peacefully
The poet;
Destiny is like a wind which blows in the arabian sea,
Upon which it next direction is unknown,
You will see men growing greatly at their tender age but their next minute is unpredictable
Then, reverse it could be my former line
Little boy;
You mean destiny is like a deep wide sea
Which the direction you follow leads you any where
The poet;
Hey!
Brother we began our lives here
Tomorrow you may be richer than I
The creator has already created us before we exist
Little boy;
Then I will go to a sorcerer to foresee my destiny
The poet;
Destiny can never be look into
Even those who are summon
By the name foreseers
Do not know when termite will eat them
Little boy;
Can destiny be ever change?
The poet;
It can be change only with prayer
But my lord only give those he will
Little boy;
When shall we die?
The poet;
And so I laugh...
Death is inevitable
Non but my lord and those who had gone
Can talk about it
Little boy;
I mean
How will I die?
The poet;
For you know not where and how you were born
The the knowledge of
Where and how you will die remains with Allah
He creates the world and know every hidden things.
Little boy;
How can I live this world
The poet;
Boy!
Walk as if non is looking at you
Talk as if non is listening to you
Think as if you are thinking for others
Pray and make sacrifice
Sad Wings Of Destiny
Mournful, yet grand is the destiny of man. Believing he can look destiny in the eye, without so much as flinching. And only after having swallowed the seeds of fate, did he find, they grew into hate. Making what was once water to the faithful, turn to nothing more, than blood, before the eyes of an unbeliever. Of all that man has been, or in his vanity, may come to believe, destiny, after having granted his wishes, also gave him more than he perceived. For only by the work of his own two hands, could such suffering be achieved. Leading him to fight against his destiny, even though, he had no hope of victory. Like pantomimes of white, on a background of black, his destiny, appears as a silken thread, lost in an endless labyrinth of time. Never knowing, only death transforms life into a destiny, for only death has no need for time. Having denied love, he sealed his fate. Unable to find the meaning and never seeing the truth of life, that it may only be found with another, but not alone. Fear, merely encouraged his ignominy and transported him to the nether world, where he will at last, take his final flight, on the sad wings of destiny

This Or That
One thing true about this or that
Some people don't mind if I am thin or fat
And they don't care, about the length of my hair
So to make all happy I just wear a hat,
And one thing more about this or that
I am glad I have a dog and not a cat
Though some are picky, they'd rather have a kitty
But then at least my pet isn't a rat,
Then do I wish or do I say a prayer
Did I glance at her or did I give a stare
Maybe I should lie, and to both I could deny
But then would anyone worry or would they even care.
Thinking more about this or thats
Some people don't want the truth just the facts
As all they want to hear, is joy and not fear
And then should I sit or have I sat,
Would I enjoy listening to music everyday
If the music was what someone else did play
Would I rather listen to a teacher, instead of a preacher
The choice is either this or that as I did say,
Is it better to say hello than it is to say goodbye
And is it easier to live that it is to die
Do we live by choices, or do we run in courses
Do we ever win or are we better when we just try,
As I think just where I am at
Would I rather write or would I rather chat
The choices are many, in this life of plenty
But that is the truths about this or that.

The Poor Give To The Wrong Type Power
The poor so sad to say do not see far
They vote for one who drives expensive car
And one they don't see after voting day
From where they live he lives long miles away.
The poor don't ever seem to understand
That they vote for one who for them little care
To one greedy individual they give power
And when they need him he is never there.
Who is this person the poor voted for
He lives in a big house leads the high life
And you won't see him in a second hand shop
When he is buying a present for his wife.
The poor to the wrong type always give power
And they make the worst choices on voting day
They ought to vote for one of their own kind
And for mistakes made there is a price to pay.
The poor give to the wrong type of person power
To greedy individual they give all the say
On voting day the wrong choices they make
And what little power they have they give away.

Iz Dis Destiny
there's a beauty
a one of a kind
one in a million
so rare to find beauty
never seen reflection in the mirror
exist in life but
never seems to live life
lost all alone
without a shoulder to cry on
wondering if this is destiny
there's a heart
a broken into pieces
lost and found in the ocean heart
made it through the fire
in the battlefield
where a soul has no fear
lost all alone
without a shoulder to cry on
wondering if this is destiny

970: Discussion...
Your want of discussion, amuses me,
I had a longing for them, way back in time,
You had only one answer then,
Destiny, destiny and destiny,
God helps those who help themselves,
You needed no help then, hence no actions,
My cries never reached you, you went deaf,
Today I don’t cry, as dead as beef,
I always said zero or one,
You wont let me go, nor would you come,
You are a random variable,
Distributed, frozen but still able,
Today my life’s all dried up,
My love, respect, hatred all in a cup,
Poisonous mix I will die from,
Having lost my home, I live in a dorm.

Information can bring you choices and choices bring power - educate yourself about your options and choices. Never remain in the dark of ignorance.
Fear
Fear causes paralysis
Emotions are all numbed
Thoughts go may blank
As one becomes deaf and dumb.
Fear closes our eyes
To glaring truth that stares
Accepting all the lies
In silence, without care.
Fear locks our doors
To the beauty of life and choices
We lose sight of what we live for
Surrendered to muted voices.
Fear is a daily death
Like walls in a coffin sealed
An existence in useless breath
A vessel that can never be filled.
Hurts are kept locked up
No sound, just feeling empty
We can't even say 'That's enough! '
There's no sense of what's to be free.

Destiny Leads The Way
All through your great life journey you follow your destiny
And where you are living at today is where you are meant to be
And whether you live in your Hometown or from there live far away
It all goes back to destiny where you are at today
We make our own decisions and for our mistakes we pay
Yet in the course of our destiny we do not have a say
From the moment we are born our pathways through life are paved
And the destinies of our life's journeys in our souls are engraved
Though many will tell you differently they say our life's journey is our own choice
But destiny the silent one never does heed advice
And even those who do not believe in it follow it every day
Where-ever their journeys take them to destiny leads the way
And whether you travel far from home or live in your own country-side
Destiny of seven letters your life's journey decide.

Fate or Destiny
Fate or Destiny
Is it fate or destiny that brings your smile for me to see?
Is it fate or destiny that brings us together as we hold hands?
Is it fate or destiny that brings our hearts as a union as one?
Is it fate or destiny that brings our stormy seas to rest upon the shore?
Is it fate or destiny that builds a lasting relationship, never to fall?
Is it fate or destiny that brings us close beyond the horizon of a sunny day?
