A Call For Revolution!
a call for revolution...
rivers rise, and overflow their banks!
branches bud with leaves in the autumn,
butterflies arrive to bring the snow!
every window opened, every lock is broken,
every pot is filled, every table shared.
the language of ears sees no colors,
and dignity wears no chains.
prophets return to being carpenters,
and poets till the earth.
soldiers lay down their guns to become fathers,
nations give way to family.
the faces of god all become one,
the hands of god become many!
freedom becomes a verb not a dream,
hunger is buried by compassionate hands.
forgiveness a way of living,
respect the bridge all must cross.
truth is applauded for asking questions,
as the young and old exchange gifts.
every moment sacred and shared,
the earth revered and protected.
a call for revolution....
just as far away as near!

I Am The Door!
i have no need of religious balm,
no need of doctrines or spurious cures.
i do not close my eyes when i sleep,
i do not falter, i do not follow.
the path i walk is mine alone,
the light i seek bears my name.
the burden i carry is mine by choice,
the cost of living is this life.
yet the freedom i long for must be shared,
the part feeds the whole, the hand the foot!
for there can be no justice if not for all,
and redemption the bridge that all must cross.
who am i if not you, you if not i?
the hunger i feel wears your face!
eternity comes and goes in moments shared,
if you be the heart, then i am the door!

Like whats his name there
Drummer of 15 drums there
Whats his name?
Excuse me now Ive got a call
Ill take this call from valhalla*
Please tell my friends from outer space
You are my son youll take my place
And if the revolution comes
Ive got some good friends there
Take my place after all you are my son
You take the moon Ill take the sun
And by the way if the revolution comes
Please take my rifles and take my guns
A single bullet loaded in each one
And if you dont like my melody
Ill sing it in a major key
Ill sing it very happily
And if
Everybody is
All aboard
Lets take it back
To that minor chord
You are my son youll take my place
Be still my friends from outer space
Ill take this call from valhalla
Excuse me now I got a call
Ive got some good friends there
Revolution comes
A single bullet loaded in each one
Please take my rifles and take my guns
And by the way
If the revolution comes
Take my rifles
Take my guns
You take my place because you are my son
Excuse me now Ill take the sun
Ill take my place in valhalla
And if the revolution comes
Please take my guns

Revolution
If you think its over, better think again
Therell be no compromise
Time to hit the power, feel adrenaline
Move into overdrive
Here comes the revolution
Time for retribution
If you think Ill back down or accept defeat
Brace for the aftershock
Take it to the limits, take it to the streets
Give it everything youve got
Time to come together
Revolution
Living on forever
Revolution
Get ready for the revolution
Its a revolution
Its a retribution
Somethings in the air
Time to change, its time to change
You better watch out tonight
You better watch out for the revolution
Bring it down, bring it down

Revolution Now
(m&l - weikath)
Well, I think its really time
Again for a revolution
Not to destroy at all costs but have
A look at what is there
Can you remember a time when
Water was sill water
Or are you too young to even know
What we wont give to our heirs
Inhale the bless of science through your lungs
Skin and brain!
Itll surly make our cildren feel
A lot more sane!
Revolution now!
Revolution now!
I was born when april guaranteed a
Sexual renaissance
And today were all faced with death,
Rubbers and aids
In 68 some people went out
To fight for freedom
They would never ever have through
That their children wear lies
And if you come to san francisco
Youre gonna meet some
Broken people there
Revolution now!

I Know, I've Been There!
in each heart
there is a universe
never before seen, ...
i know, i've been there!
in each soul
there's a photograph of God
that's unlike any other, ...
i know, i've been there!
in every mind
a dream different but the same,
a thought that finishes, needs finishing, ...
i know, i've been there!
in every destiny
an individual path,
yet a part of the whole, ...
i know, i've been there!
in every hidden longing
names put to faces,
and hands put to touch, ...
i know, i've been there!
in every prayer,
the need both unique and shared,
both mortal and immortal, ....
i know, i've been there!
in every tear,
wept by every living being,
the call to return, to go home, ...
i know, i've been there!

A Thread scrawled in Timely Autumn
I watch thousands of leaves drift underneath trees,
while in a tree I sat observing
timely autumn air fetching birds –
to gather above the vegetation high up in the blue
birds rise and utter messages
as timely autumn descends on our…?
On our befallen part globe.
To hear the beauty of innocence across
the damp fall ground;
vibrating, that autumn is
going to flee away and…?
And in comes the disturbing winter breeze –
bring out a smile gloating out
on the stricken faces.
Nations fall dead from autumn exhaustion.
Oh timely autumn has come to soon –
to bear a reason of befallen:
sleeping illnesses
on our old earth.
Red, brown, orange, yell a glow
Buried in leaves is our part globe.
And stricken faces
of shadows
flee away into the nest of warmth
as worrying winter breeze crawls
in, regretfully not,
but gleefully.
Swirling around, sneaking in?
In ajar windows.
Oh season is it time
for timely autumn colour to leave
our autumn colour world into
winter darkness?
Not welcomingly the
winter nips at my thin nose
as I watch above
high in this forlorn tree
with no leaves! But what?
Empty branches of crystal snow.

From The Desk Of... A Renegade Socialist
WE THE PEOPLE,
..and all living beings
....on the earth...
demand fairness,
equality, shared dignity,
and a just dispersion
of all needed goods....
having the desire
and the fortitude
to work and to give
as readily as we take!
believing that all life is sacred,
and should be treated as such!
and that the only true success
feeds every hungry mouth!
daring to respect each other,
and so be respected!

The Revolution
From the start of this revolution
thought problem has no solution
but to earth's deep wound i found
the key to end this round
i made a lot of sound..
the revolution starts to form earthquake...
rocks and stones fall with none sake
thought I'm gonna die with golden stake, , ,
but i denied and faced my fate...
eat dust and breath smoke
but i survived, it's no joke
rescuers got in and give aid
but worms wants me to fade
my self, my brain they invade, ,
but i didn't give up..
i fight hunger and anger
i ate soil, i spit nothing
at last i heard the angel sing...
peace and no fright they bring..
and butterflies but no bees to sting...

A Revolution Within
A revolution within the mind
And a revolution within that`s beyond
Are the needs of the hour...
I search for the mind first
What is beyond that is a dream to come true.
But a revolution is the need of the hour...
A fire extinguishes somewhere,
Its smoke reaching far and wide.
But there is nothing new in both!
A flood begins atop the glacier of the river far away,
Its water licking up the lands of the hungry lot.
But there is again nothing new in these too!
A revolution within my mind
And a revolution within that`s beyond
Are a poet`s perceptions perhaps.
Nothing brethern.. nothing at all can
Bring in a revolution in this life
As the game of dice is played on and on...

Soldier (not really a poem)
the american revolution was fought witha new breed of soldier.
this country was founded on that soldier.
that soldier is the one that those on the front lines calls the coward
that soldier is the one that those on the front lines call when they need help
because these soldiers dont miss.
these soldiers are trained harder than the most elite frontline man
these soldiers are tought to kill their enemy before there enemy sees them.
these soldiers are the ghosts in the night,
these soldiers are the wind in the day
these soldiers are everywhere.
these soldiers are the bush next to u.
these soldiers are the the tree across the field.
these soldiers are the lump of snow in the flat plain.
these soldiers are snipers.
snipers are the reason we are free.
snipers stop the enemy before the enemy gets close to u,

Sharing Of Christmas
There is a Christmas story that I must tell
Of a family who were known quite well.
They never had much in their lives.
They did not have any wealth or fame
But they was loved just the same.
Two little children, a boy and a girl
But they were worth more than
any diamonds or pearls.
This family shared a bond which
You very rarely see, and they had hearts
Which were made in heaven
And with a smile on their faces 24/7.
Many times they were seen with
their clothes torn and tattered
But for the ones that knew them
That did not matter.
The little that they had they shared with others
For it was something that they did see
That they weren’t the only ones living in poverty.
They would attend mass every week
For comfort and guidance they did seek.
They prayed for the blessings from above
From the father that they loved.
It seemed like every week they had food to spare
And with the less fortunate they would share.
Then for the holidays he received bad news
Either his hours cut or his job he’d lose.
He took the cut and retightened his belt
This was a heartache like he had never felt.
Neighbors heard of his plight
and the word spread like torrential rains
Upon the neighborhood streets.
That he was in dire need, without gifts
For his family or even food to eat.
He awoke on Christmas day and took
Out the meager gifts that he was able to buy
And under the tree he put them to lie.
His wife and kids awoke and they shared
The birth of our savior, who was
lying under the tree in his manger.
When they heard a knock on their door.
He opened the door and a loud scream
Pierced his ears.
“MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR”.
All the neighborhood was at his door
With all sorts of gifts and presents galore.
“This is for all the times that you helped
Others, when they were in need
And because of your generosity you planted a seed.
You taught us how we should live
And that it doesn’t take much to give.”
“This has become a tradition that they now share.”

My Revolution
(casino steel/ian hunter/dangerfield)
You were just a twinkle in your teenage mothers eyes
I was squeezing brylcreem on my hair
No one taught us how to be politically correct
And no one told our winkles what to wear
Ive been there, Ive done it
Ive seen it all
That was my contribution oh-oh
So much for the revolution
When someone said, lets go to bed nobody was scared
We were up to no good all the time
Judging by those freckles and the shades upon your nose
Its possible you could be one of mine
Ive been there, Ive done it
Ive seen it all
That was my revolution
On the road again, back at number ten
Underneath the lights a thousand and one nights
A revolution for fun
You better lock up your mum
Ive been there, Ive done it
Well, Ive seen them come and go
Thats for you to guess and thats for me to know
Oh, baby
Thats for you to guess and thats for me to know
So much for revolution
So much for revolution
That was my revolution

Buying and Selling chapter XI
And a merchant said, "Speak to us of Buying and Selling."
And he answered and said:
To you the earth yields her fruit, and you shall not want if you but know how to fill your hands.
It is in exchanging the gifts of the earth that you shall find abundance and be satisfied.
Yet unless the exchange be in love and kindly justice, it will but lead some to greed and others to hunger.
When in the market place you toilers of the sea and fields and vineyards meet the weavers and the potters and the gatherers of spices, -
Invoke then the master spirit of the earth, to come into your midst and sanctify the scales and the reckoning that weighs value against value.
And suffer not the barren-handed to take part in your transactions, who would sell their words for your labour.
To such men you should say,
"Come with us to the field, or go with our brothers to the sea and cast your net;
For the land and the sea shall be bountiful to you even as to us."
And if there come the singers and the dancers and the flute players, - buy of their gifts also.
For they too are gatherers of fruit and frankincense, and that which they bring, though fashioned of dreams, is raiment and food for your soul.
And before you leave the marketplace, see that no one has gone his way with empty hands.
For the master spirit of the earth shall not sleep peacefully upon the wind till the needs of the least of you are satisfied.

Snow Man
Christmas in Belgium was different
Than the ones spent in L.A.
The Christmas I got no presents
Still me and my brother played
Near the ocean makin' the snow man
On his face we were makin' a smile
Cuz just like a daddy
The snow man had style
CHORUS:
Snow man, snow man
Another Christmas gone
I got a chess game this time
A bishop takes the pawn
Sometimes I wanna go back where
The ocean swallows the shore
I could still see him smiling
When my snow man is no more, no more
Winter seldom passing
Where the memory doesn't sway
2 the smell of a Christmas dinner
Shared the family way (Shared in the family way)
Everything seems so perfect
That nothing would dare go wrong
But tears come with the summer
So long, so long (So long)
CHORUS
Snow man
I look at my hands and I wonder
Will they ever make anyone smile
The way the snow man made me
CHORUS
(Snow man) {repeat till end

I Am Only As Old...
i am only as old
as the memory of childbirth.
dollar signs in dimestore windows,
milkshakes for a quarter.
non-filter cigarettes and broken Trojans,
long hair ironed with loving hands.
when revolution smelled like sex,
and god reeked of napalm.
when young girls with hard nipples
passed doobies to wide eyed poets.
and the streets convulsed with anger,
that sat at the back of the bus.
while religious M-16's jammed,
and radical students were beaten
with patriotic pride....
as young bodhisattvas with thumbs extended,
rediscovered the land of the free.
and for a time not owned by owning,
we heard the beat of a distant drum!
i am only as old as oceans,
crossed at the cost of life.
and prison cells that defined freedom,
more by the given than the taken.
when right meant more than morality,
and intent itself became destiny.
when color became a flavor,
and all tasted good.
when freedom felt like dignity,
and every hand fit!
i am only as old as dreaming,
the dream forever new!

Living In China
They got the red book, they got the new look
All the little people that are living in china
They got the answers to all the questions
All the little people that are living in china
The solution is revolution
For all of the little people that are living in china
They got ping pong egg foo yung
For all the little people that are living in china
What would chairman mao say, if he knew what theyre doing to his wife today
What did china do? she ordered out for submarines instead of chinese food
China fields of rice, modern man no longer evil hes a paradise
What did the chairman want?
A great big wall they could all watch orientals on
They got the red book, they got the new look
The little people that are living in china
They got the answers to all the questions
The little people that are living in china
The solution is revolution
For all the little people that are living in china
They got ping pong egg foo yung
All the little people that are living in china
What would chairman mao say
If he knew what his people think of him today
Revolution is out of hand
The gang of four, trying to make it as a western band
China, what do you need
Youve got everything from your scruffy head to dirty feet
China you want to dance
Youre wearing makeup and listening to adam and the ants
They got the new look, they got the red book,
All the little people that are living in china
They got the answers to all the questions
All the little people that are living in china
The solution is revolution
For all the little people that are living in china
They got ping pong egg foo yung
The little people that are living in china
The solution is revolution
They got the answers to all the questions
All the little people that are living in china
China, living in china
China, living in china
China, living in china

The Love Inside Of You!
there lives....
flight within the feathers,
leaves, in bare limbs.
centuries inside mountains,
flow within rivers....
corn in the deadened earth.
fire within the match,
rain within the clouds.
a baby in a lover's touch....
a roar within the lion.
a world inside a turtle's shell,
a story in the old man's smile.
families in the cementary...
oppression inside of oil.
freedom, in a prison cell,
hope, in the addict's shaking hands.
healing, in the moment shared....
passion, in the naked glance.
God, in the small child's eyes,
salvation, in what is given....
the truth beneath the lie....
all waiting....
on the light inside the darkness,
and the love inside of you!

When I Made That Choice
god came to me in a dream one night,
and whispered, 'by your gifts you are named'.
to some i give dignity,
to some i give grieving.
to some i give prophecy,
to some i give doubt.
to some i give determination,
to some i give faith.
to some i give patience,
to some the gift of listening.
to some i give peace,
to some revolution.
to some i give healing,
to some i give suffering.
to some i give love,
to some i give loss.
to some i give eyes,
to some i give feet.
to all i give understanding,
though few choose to take it....
and remember, you chose your own gifts! '...
and i thought for awhile,
and then asked....
'but what about me? '
god laughed...
'to a few infidels i give poetry,
to sing to the weary! '
god, what was i thinking,
when i made that choice?
