Scapegoatism
When the going is smooth,
When success is the standard
When compliments flow from all angles
And the group is swimming in brilliance
They misappropriate the praises
They appropriate the prizes
They arrogate credit for good decisions
They usurp the tribute for choice of suitable strategy
They claim the accolade for the group's glory
And steal the honour of becoming the acclaimed
But when the going becomes tough
When defeat is experienced
When strategies do not deliver
When victory becomes a mirage
When challenges stir the group the face
When criticisms flow from all directions
And the group assumes the status of a joker
They point accusing figures at others
They craftily jettison the blames
Allocate all the condemnations to others
Apportion none of the censures to themselves
They exonerate themselves from all faults
They acquit and discharge themselves
From all the charges preferred against the group
And escapes any form of punishment
The unsung hero's in the good days,
Become the culprits during bad days.
They bear the brunt for poor results.
The heroes of the good days,
Lead in the call to crucify,
The imaginary culprits of failure.
They are sent on compulsory retirement
With condemnation and dishonor
This is called ‘scapegoatism'

I think we have a good team, but soccer fans will know that we're in a really tough group. The three teams in our group are really strong. The Czech Republic is a very good team, Italy is traditionally a powerhouse, and Ghana is one of the best teams in Africa.

Good Old Days
I remember the good old days.
The days when a black man such as myself could not even look at a white woman. Remember what happen to Emmett Till because he did.
Yeah the good old days
When a hard working woman named Rosa Parks got arrested
Just because she refused to get up and give a white man her seat.
The good old days
was when a group of men could burn down a of place worship
And kill four little black girls.
The good old days
When a man like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
got killed only because he had a dream.
I often hear people saying I miss the good old days.
But from my perspective those good old days
was not that good after all! !
Any New York group can come to L.A. and sell out every show, but an L.A. group who goes to New York might not do the same because the audience hasn't been introduced to the group.
The greater the loyalty of a group toward the group, the greater is the motivation among the members to achieve the goals of the group, and the greater the probability that the group will achieve its goals.

Channel Zero
[Canibus]
Approximately fifty years ago
under the direction of President Harry Truman
and in the interest of national security
A group of twelve top military scientific personnel were established
This group's primary objective
was to desensitize us to the truth
And to suppress the material evidence that our planet is being visited
by a group of extraterrestrial biological entities called the grays
Tune in to channel zero (8X)

Loss Is Nothing
Lose is nothing but profit in another form
Word is nothing but group regroup de-group
For a particular term.
Ability is the strength
To stay free from corruption
Internally and externally is proper form.

The Cold War
The Cold War. (Norway 1964)
A group of ten men in cheap suits and hats, crew on a Soviet ship
anchored in the bay. Walked around the streets looking at window
displays. Suddenly one of the men broke away from the group,
he ran down a side road, but was swiftly caught by the local police,
who had followed the group a discreet distance; only few people
noticed the incident. The fugitive sat on the pavement crying, was
forced to join the group. The man, now surrounded by the others,
had no escape. They walked around a little longer like nothing odd
had happened, then they headed back to the docks where a boat
picked them up and drove them back to their vessel in the bay.

This Too Shall Pass
I dont jones for nothing
Cause thats a waste
Waste of space in my frontal lobe and
I just sit, deal with it, dont have a fit
Do you know what Im sayin?
I just get as down as I can
Dont look to relief from a troubled young man
Just take a piece
Sometimes it sucks
Oh I'm not too sure if I can do this on my own guys
Like I'm thinking maybe we should form a support group
Or perhaps a church sponsored youth group
Oh and then then I say I looked the other way
I changed my point of view
And heres what I do
This too shall pass
This too shall pass
This too shall pass
This..
All the good times, all the bad times
Face it bro, they all will pass
Your problems will seem inconsequential and trivial
When you realize one thing
Were just a speck of dirt on this golf ball
Called ??
Its stupid insane
And didnt then I see
I looked the other way
I changed my point of view
And heres what I do

Scary Folks
Those who claim to know The Truth are dangerous indeed
Questioning and humbleness are things they do not need
Open minds are useless and discussions take too long
Others have opinions which most certainly are wrong
Hesitation's not required when you are in the right
If others dare to disagree perhaps it's time to fight
When scary folks form in a group the dangers escalate
And violence is one result this mixture can create
Religious zeal can be the yeast that helps group hate to rise
Outsiders soon are enemies and victory the prize
All means are seen as valid when one hears a holy voice
And violent retribution can become a righteous choice
Our world is rent asunder by extremists far and wide
We need some moderation if we are to stem the tide
Traits such as acceptance can help get us back on track
With a dose of humbleness to soften what we lack
Glimpses of divinity are there for all to see
No one group can claim to know complete reality
When we share our glimpses and the truth that each group knows
We walk in true humility and understanding grows
Let us walk the peaceful path with open hearts and minds
So that we all may grow in love as violence declines
We need not cling to foolish pride and narrowness of sigh
Each of us can share the grace which lets all see the light
