Idyl
The swallows made twitter incessant,
The thrushes were wild with their mirth.
The ways and the woods were made pleasant,
And the flowering nooks of the earth.
And the sunshine sufficed to rejoice me,
And the air was as bracing as wine,
And the sky and the shadows and grasses
Were enough to make living divine.
Then I saw on the ground two gray robins,
One with glorious flame-colored vest,
'Neath the shade of some delicate bluebells,
By the breeze of the morning caressed.
They were singing of love in the shadow;
She was bashful, and modest, and coy,
And he sang to her tenderest love-songs,
And madrigals full of his joy.
And his song came forth clearer and clearer,
With each passionate, musical note;
Like the ripple of silvery waters,
It gushed from his beautiful throat.
His whole little bird-soul he offers,—
Ah! she listens to him as he sings:
Then he ceases, awaiting her answer,
With bright eyes and with quivering wings.
And I, too, stood awaiting it, breathless,
For his song was too sweet to disdain,
Till it came, little notes full of gladness,
With a plaintive and tender refrain.
And the songs died away in the distance,
And the forest alone heard the rest,
As the two little lovers flew upward,
To build them together a nest.

You've Made Me Glad/Who Is Like The Lord
You put a song in my heart rythm in my step
Praise as my garment for the spirit of heaviness
Beauty for ashes joy for my pain
Love overwhelming causes me to say
(Chorus)
You've made me glad
You've made me glad
You've made me glad
Lord I will rejoice because You have
You've made me glad
You've made me glad
You've made me glad
Lord I will rejoice because You have made me glad
So I will lift my hands and lift my voice
The way I feel I have no choice
You made me glad
I'm gonna dannce and sing and shout for joy
And praise Your name I will rejoice
You made me glad
Lord we declare
Who can compare
Who would even dare
Cause there is no one like You

The Earth, Late Chok'd with Showers
The earth, late chok'd with showers,
Is now array'd in green,
Her bosom springs with flowers,
The air dissolves her teen;
The heavens laugh at her glory,
Yet bide I sad and sorry.
The woods are deck'd with leaves,
And trees are clothed gay,
And Flora crown'd with sheaves,
With oaken boughs doth play;
Where I am clad in black,
The token of my wrack.
The birds upon the trees
Do sing with pleasant voices,
And chant in their degrees
Their loves and lucky choices;
When I, whilst they are singing,
With sighs mine arms am wringing.
The thrushes seek the shade,
And I my fatal grave;
Their flight to heaven is made,
My walk on earth I have;
They freely, I thrall; they jolly,
I sad and pensive wholly.

The Empty Nest
I saunter all about the pleasant place
You made thrice pleasant, O my friends, to me;
But you are gone where laughs in radiant grace
That thousand-memoried unimpulsive sea.
To storied precincts of the southern foam,
Dear birds of passage, ye have taken wing,
And ah! for me, when April wafts you home,
The spring will more than ever be the spring
Still lovely, as of old, this haunted ground;
Tenderly, still, the autumn sunshine falls;
And gorgeously the woodlands tower around,
Freak'd with wild light at golden intervals:
Yet, for the ache your absence leaves, O friends,
Earth's lifeless pageantries are poor amends.

Amaryllis
Once, when I wandered in the woods alone,
An old man tottered up to me and said,
“Come, friend, and see the grave that I have made
For Amaryllis.” There was in the tone
Of his complaint such quaver and such moan
That I took pity on him and obeyed,
And long stood looking where his hands had laid
An ancient woman, shrunk to skin and bone.
Far out beyond the forest I could hear
The calling of loud progress, and the bold
Incessant scream of commerce ringing clear;
But though the trumpets of the world were glad,
It made me lonely and it made me sad
To think that Amaryllis had grown old.

What A Difference Youve Made
What a difference youve made in my life.
What a difference youve made in my life.
Youre my sunshine day and night.
Oh, what a difference youve made
In my life.
What a change you have made in my heart.
What a change you have made in my heart.
You replaced all the broken parts.
Oh, what a change you have made
In my heart.
Love to me was just a word in a song
That had been way overused.
But you gave love a meaning,
So I joined in the singing,
Thats why I wanna spread the news.
What a difference youve made in my life.
What a difference youve made in my life.
Youre my sunshine day and night.
Oh, what a difference youve made,
(what a difference youve made,)
What a difference youve made in my life.
What a difference youve made in my life.
What a difference youve made in my life.
Youre my sunshine day and night.
What a difference youve made.
(what a difference youve made in my life.)
What a difference youve made in my life.
(what a difference youve made in my life.)
Difference youve made in my life.
(youre my sunshine day and night.)
What a difference youve made.
(what a difference youve made in my life.)
Difference youve made in my life.
(difference youve made in my life.)
Youre my sunshine day and night.
What a difference youve made.
(what a difference youve made in my life.)
Youve made a difference in me.
(what a difference youve made in my life.)
Youve made a change in my life.
Youre my sunshine day and night.

Man, Blame Thyself…
Isn’t man, the cause of problems that he sees?
Isn’t man himself the cause of his own sins?
Isn’t man alone the cause of many woes?
Isn’t man who made the planet earth hell-like?
When man deforests earth – home to wild-life,
Wild beasts in search of food enter his fields;
Man raises hue and cry: ‘wild beasts attack! ’
He is the cause of rampaging wild-life!
When man pollutes the river-waters pure
Through effluents and sewage from cities,
Will not more diseases afflict more men,
And sicknesses multiply upon earth?
When man develops habits of sins galore,
He turns a slave to devils and serves them;
Estranged from God, the blessings from heaven
Can’t come in time and ways, he wants them to!
Blame thyself man, for making good earth bad!
Your soul devoid of grace is sure hell-bound!
God allows strife, reminding you your ways
Are not in accordance with His tenets!
So, mend your evil ways and plead to God;
You have to make amends, repent a lot;
Ask forgiveness for sins and walk aright;
For, narrow is the road to heaven, man!

To The Cuckoo
O BLITHE New-comer! I have heard,
I hear thee and rejoice.
O Cuckoo! Shall I call thee Bird,
Or but a wandering Voice?
While I am lying on the grass
Thy twofold shout I hear,
From hill to hill it seems to pass,
At once far off, and near.
Though babbling only to the Vale,
Of Sunshine and of flowers,
Thou bringest unto me a tale
Of visionary hours.
Thrice welcome, darling of the Spring!
Even yet thou art to me
No bird, but an invisible thing,
A voice, a mystery;
The same whom in my school-boy days
I listened to; that Cry
Which made me look a thousand ways
In bush, and tree, and sky.
To seek thee did I often rove
Through woods and on the green;
And thou wert still a hope, a love;
Still longed for, never seen.
And I can listen to thee yet;
Can lie upon the plain
And listen, till I do beget
That golden time again.
O blessed Bird! the earth we pace
Again appears to be
An unsubstantial, faery place;
That is fit home for Thee!

God
{b-side of purple rain}
In the beginning, there was god
He made the earth, and the heavens
He gave us light to rule the day
And another light to rule the night
The lord, thy god
Made, he made the seas
He made the fruit upon the trees
When he saw, when he saw that it was good
He made a man, made a man
Only he could, only he could
God made u
God made me too
He made us all
Made us all equally
Now u say
God made u
God made me
He made us all equally
Wake up children
Dance the dance electric
There isnt much time
Who screamed?
Was it u?

Sonnet: God’s Love is Prime
God’s love made earth and gave man a life-span;
God’s love made Eve, Adam and all beasts on earth;
God’s love made plants and everything for man;
God’s love made creatures, giving them their breath.
God’s love made Him to give Ten Commandments;
God’s love made Sun, Moon, Stars- the Universe;
God love allowed devils’ impediments;
God’s love let man to make conditions worse.
God’s love made Jesus die upon the Cross;
God’s love made Him redeem the souls of men;
God’s love made His spirit remove chaos;
God’s love made Eternal life in Heaven.
God’s love made man to love this neighbor well;
God’s love made Him to cast bad souls to Hell.

God is God
God is God
He was made by man
but refuses to be human
God is invisible
He was hidden by man
but is seen everywhere
God is unfathomable
He was made mysterious
but is known to everyone
God is love
He was made a sectarian
but is all encompassing
God is simple
He was made complex
but is always understanding
God is compassionate
He was made fiery
but is always loving
God is a sportsman
he was made a recluse
but is always vivacious
God is kind
He was made vengeful
but is always forgiving
God is young
He was made aged by man
but is longevity itself
God is caring
He was made indifferent
but is always nurturing
God is good
He was made demanding
but is always generous
God is nature
He was ruined by man
but is full of life
God is the earth
He was polluted by man
but is always cleansing
God is wise
He was made a sucker
but is always omniscience
God is slow to anger
He was made angry by man
and will ruin those who ruin the earth

Wild Thing
Wild thing
You made the boys spring
You made everything expensive
Spend it, spend it, wild thing
Theres hardly a man left around that you havent sought out
Theres hardly a dress shop in town that you havent bought out
In case youre wondering why the hair salon wouldnt take you
Theres hardly a woman left in any state that doesnt hate you
Wild thing
You made the boys spring
You made everything expensive
Spend it, spend it, wild thing
Its truly awesome
When she was younger she thought her mother had missed her calling
And she, in turn, thought that her daughters conduct was appalling
After each date she had the boys, went home and dreamed of spiders
She never fell for any man who wasnt rich as midas
Wild thing
You made the boys spring
You made everything expensive
Spend it, spend it, wild thing
Its truly awesome
If theres a lesson to be learned then Im sure I dont know it
Weve all been waiting twenty years to see her finally blow it
But as far as I can tell shes happy, rich, and worry-free
And thats a hell of a lot more than I can say for me
Wild thing
You made the boys spring
You made everything expensive
Spend it, spend it wild thing
Wild thing
You made your heart sing
You bought everything you wanted
Spend it, spend it, wild thing
It was truly awesome
Thats my girl, go baby!

The Wind's Journey
Winds blowing from the east
Transplanted scents into the west,
Wandered into jungles of concrete wall,
Struggling to fit in cranny nooks of tall
Structures, that hastens its journey through
Man-made woods – a jungle of towers blew
And drove the wind from western grey mist,
Back to the east, refresh and crisply blest,
While easterly mist touched the west wind
And blow forth again to trees and leaves of green
From east to the west its circular route dawdle
Wanting to re-touch thus lingered to mingle
Attempting to refine a wind made stale
By man’s rancorous ill will, east wind’s wail
The west wind wavered, intertwined forever
To retouch and refresh the earth’s dwindling fresh air

Sunshine Duet
P1: Shining so bright up in the sky
The brightest thing in the world
Other than you
Sunshine...
ooh oow oh
P2: Sunshine...oh oh oh
You are the sunshine
The light in my soul
Sunshine...
ooh oow oh
(chorus) Both
Moonlit nights
Sunshining days
Sunshine...sunshine
oh oow oh
Sunshine...
P1: Yea, yea, yea
Sunshine that never dies out
The way you look into my eyes
Burns just like the sun
Sunshine...oh oh oh oow
P2: But though you're the light in my heart
I could never forget your smile
Cause when you smiled
Made me love you even more
Sunshine...baby oh
(chorus)
Moonlit nights(oh oh oh)
Sunshining days
Sunshine...sunshine(yea)
oh oow oh
Sunshine...(oh oo)
Both:
Baby...
The light in your eyes
Makes my heart melt
Like, ice in the sun
Sunshine, sunshine, sunshine
oh oh oh

Fake Sunshine & the Dark Cloud "That Blocked My Sun"
It was up's and down's
And black and white
And the yin and yang
Life was just going on
With a monotony on my life
Suddenly like a spark,
Thunder in the clear sky
You came to my life
Sparkling with your Sunshine
I thought life has a meaning
With a peek that has no fall
Black or no yang
That made me forget
The balance of life
And if there is a easy down hill
There will be a hard mountain to climb
I was blind with you shining light of Sunshine,
That I thought never end
I should have known that you wasn't the real Sunshine
Just a fake that blind my vision
That been just a distraction
Unbalanced the circle of life
That has followed by a dark cloud
That made my life a stormy night
And a endless cold winter
That took away the warm summer breeze
But now I'm glad that I found out
Your Sunshine is just a fake
That wasted my pleasant summer
Glad that you're gone
Feel free and back with my life
With my up's and down's
That will guide me to my real Sunshine,
Doesn't matter that it's a hard up hill,
Because I fell free, I saw the truth.

God Made Your Lips
God made your lips for me to kiss. Your hands for me to hold.
God made your smile for me to miss and treasure more than gold.
God made your ears so I could tell how beautiful you are.
God made your eyes to cast a spell, no matter, near or far.
God made your arms to hold me tight each time before I leave.
God made your legs to stir delight like Adam saw in Eve.
God made your doubts to fade away, for years have come and gone.
God made your joys thank Him each day our love goes on and on.
God made your heart a lot like mine - hold fast to what God says.
God made you my sweet Valentine, you're always in my prayers.
God made your mind, your memories, your dreams and all you're worth.
God made you precious so you'd please the luckiest man on Earth!
God made your blessings one by one and when I look at you,
I wonder what great thing I've done that you should love me, too.

The Human Eye
God made the eye-
An extension of brain:
To see the beauty of all things,
He made.
God made the eye-
The mirror of the brain:
To show the mind’s beauty
Within.
God made the eye-
A camera:
To picture Nature’s lively snaps,
For man.
God made the eye-
A receiver:
To gather photic stimuli
For thought.
God made the eye-
Lovely:
To give expression to the face
Of man.
God made the eye-
For sight:
To perceive what the environs
Can give.
God made the eye-
For knowing world of good and bad:
To walk the roads in Heaven’s light,
On earth.
God made the eye-
For seeing light in dark alleys:
To look before one leaps in life
On earth.
God made the eye-
With two fine lids:
To prevent vice
From reaching mind.
God made the eye-
To see and feel:
The Omniscient Lord
Of creation.
God made the eye-
To know His love
And mercy great:
For man and beast.
God made the eye-
To see the light
Of Godliness
On earth’s terrain.
God made the eye-
To choose the road
That leads to Hell
Or to Heaven.

Odisha’s Glory Vavroovahana Patra
Kaui samrat’s poems are ever inspiring;

Beauteous is Odisha’s earth.

People of the world rejoice with mirth.
Savara Shreekhetra allures devotees;
Jagannath at Koraput blessth with delight.
Bay of Bengal sings the Glory of Jagannath;
He is an Ocean of mirth.
All the Deities adorn Shreekhetra;
Deities bless devotees with mirth.

Nature Has No Mother
Hearing the thunder and the rain, some on the earth will never explain,
That it’s God from His Habitation, up in Heaven, the God of Creation.
Mother Nature, He’s called by some, souls which are spiritually dumb,
Those lacking the spiritual capacity, they have eyes which cannot see.
Ordering the weather they speak of, is the Creator, Who reigns above.
In their reasoning many deny, The Lord, our God, Who reigns on High,
From God’s Heavenly Habitation, He rules over each and every nation.
What many just don’t understand, is all comes forth from God’s Hand,
As The Lord, Himself does birth, all the weather that falls on this earth,
Dispersing that rain, ice and snow; in ways which many may not know.
God, Who made the sun stand still, fully, for His Purpose and His Will,
Is He, Who made the Red Sea dry, while Moses lifted his staff up high.
Many men today attribute all they see, to their science and technology,
This, coupled with their own vanity, they disregard The God of Eternity,
As Mother Nature is to blame, or thank for the sunshine, so they claim.
God told Job that He dispersed, all weather’s elements upon the earth,
And as the snow and rains increase, that men’s labor, He would cease,
So God’s work they would know, through all weather God would show.
But many consider not God’s Ways, to give to Him the ultimate praise,
Or the reverence that’s due to Him, in this world that’s darkened by sin.

Swallows in the summertime
Swallows in the summertime
The swallows have returned again,
Reminding me of those halcyon days of my youth,
Many years have passed since those blissful days,
I would spend many happy evenings watch them dart around.
The swallows always return each summer,
Spreading their joyful wings over England's green and pleasant land,
Every summer I wonder how many more times will I see the return,
Although it's summer again, I ‘am approaching the winter of my life.
When the swallows return again next year again,
I wonder if I will still be here to see them again,
Flying on the wing under the clear blue skies of summer,
If I ‘am, I will sit by the babbling brook and watch their dance once more.
If I see the swallows return once more,
I will remember those summer days of long ago,
When I was a lad and the countryside seemed to go on forever,
And in my mind I will be young again.
